Good Points: - The building is well-constructed, so noise from neighbors or upstairs was hardly noticeable. - The staff paid attention to details, which was greatly appreciated. - The Room was odorless and clean. - Wi-Fi worked properly. - My request for a low pillow was accommodated perfectly. Areas for Improvement: - All the towels seemed to have an oily film and did not absorb water as well as new towels would. A fellow guest at the bath also mentioned that they had never encountered towels with such poor absorbency before. - The mirror was folded inside the closet, and I only noticed it at checkout when I wanted to use it. It would be helpful if it were placed in a more noticeable location.

Shuttle service from the pier to the accommodation was provided! The stay included two meals, and dinner was served at an on-site izakaya with warm, local dishes. Just when I thought it would end with fish, a pork fillet steak was also served, which was very satisfying! It was a bit disappointing that I didn’t check if the shared bath allowed morning showers. I also enjoyed local sake, making it a very pleasant accommodation experience.

The Room was clean, and the front desk staff were friendly. However, the toilet and washbasin felt uncomfortably close—like in a studio apartment. That said, dinner was excellent, so overall it was a satisfying stay. The portion size, quality, and atmosphere were all great.

I stayed at a Business Hotel with my 20-year-old son. It was better than I expected. I would like to stay again. Thank you.

I visited here as a child, and the exterior hasn’t changed. It’s an old building, but the inside is very well cleaned and everything was spotless—especially the wooden hallways, which were shiny everywhere. The Onsen baths—the semi-open-air cave-style bath and the family bath with plenty of yunohana—were very hot, and I personally couldn’t get in without adding cold water. The large public bath was just slightly on the hot side. The meals were reasonably tasty—a typical mountain Ryokan menu with a bit more wild vegetables than usual. The grilled fish with soba miso in the photo was especially delicious. Because of the antenna, TV reception wasn’t good, so I’d really like this to be fixed. I heard this Ryokan has been operating for over 400 years, and I hope it continues for many years to come.

Just a 10-second walk from Exit 4 of Hosui Susukino Station. An excellent Hotel with unbeatable access. I stayed here during a concert trip and was so impressed that I plan to stay again when I visit Hokkaido.

I stayed here while snow was gently falling. It was a huge help that they stored my luggage both before and after check-in. I stayed in Room 203. It’s a room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The room was very spacious, with a latest-model TV, a ReFa showerhead, a wide vanity, and a bathtub with a washing area. The toilet was fully automatic as well—everything was excellent. All amenities were MIKIMOTO. My hair usually feels rough when I use Hotel shampoo, but at this Accommodation it stayed smooth and silky. There is an guests-only lounge, and it was a lovely service that coffee, tea, and more were available freely until midnight. I also appreciated being able to take drinks back to my Room. I had coffee at check-in, and it matched my taste perfectly—really delicious. The breakfast I had been looking forward to was 100/100. I’ve eaten at luxury Hotels before, but this may have been the best I’ve ever had. Everything was wonderful, but what especially stood out were the yuzu-scented okara (unohana), fu dengaku, the white-dashi miso soup, and the dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet). When I mentioned it was my birthday this time, they decorated the guest room beautifully and even offered matcha—such thoughtful hospitality. All staff members were incredibly kind, with such a warm and homey atmosphere that made it easy to talk to them. Watching how warmly they treated other guests also made me feel happy. I think this is the best Accommodation—one that welcomes you warmly whether it’s for a special occasion or not. Next time I visit, I’ll come specifically to enjoy an unhurried Hotel stay. The Room was clean. The large public bath was well stocked, from cleansing oil to skincare products. The complimentary ice cream after the bath was refreshing and soothing, and the late-night soba service was perfect as a light dinner. I didn’t expect much since it’s free, but it had a rich broth flavor and was delicious. Breakfast also offered a variety of dishes in small bowls, and everything was tasty—from Japanese dishes I don’t usually get to eat, simmered items, plump fried shrimp, and even dessert. I stayed in the height of summer, and wind chimes were hung in the large public bath area, which felt charming and relaxing. I was a bit confused when a staff member suddenly spoke to me in English at the restaurant—I think I clearly look Japanese. Since I don’t know typical Business Hotel rates, I made the Reservation thinking it felt expensive; but with the large public bath, sauna, and various services included, maybe this price is reasonable—I’m not sure.

This property is originally a private wedding venue and is only occasionally available for stays when no weddings are being held. There is no pool, but there is a dreamlike chapel that feels like paradise; with staff permission, you may visit and take photos. The rooms and service are excellent, the food is delicious, and it’s the perfect place to relax in comfort.

I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days with No Meals Included for a hot-spring therapy visit. I had read in advance that there are no restaurants nearby and that I would need to stock up, so I thought buying about two days’ worth would be enough since there is a roadside station. However, within a 30-minute drive there were no drink vending machines, and the roadside station stops serving food around 2 or 3 p.m. I recommend choosing a plan with breakfast and dinner rather than No Meals Included. The website also said lunch was available with a Reservation and even listed a menu, but in reality it was chef’s choice. The Room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Some staff members were foreigners, but everyone was friendly and helpful. Mornings and evenings were pleasantly cool, but during this year’s extreme heat it felt a bit hot without air conditioning during the day. The hot spring water was slightly too hot for me (I prefer lukewarm baths), so I couldn’t soak for long, but my nerve pain and muscle pain improved. Two nights with breakfast and dinner would be fine, but I think staying 5 or 6 nights for hot-spring therapy would be tough.

I’ve stayed here several times when visiting Osaka. The breakfast area has been renovated and looks stylish. I really appreciate the free breakfast. Until now I had always stayed alone in a Room, so I didn’t notice, but this time two of us stayed in one Room and the full-length mirror reflected the toilet and bathroom area clearly, so you could see someone using them. I think it would be better to use darker frosted glass or move the mirror to a spot that isn’t in front of the toilet. The front desk staff member was not Japanese, but was very polite and provided excellent service. I will stay here again.

It was a small Hotel, but it was clean and nice! There was a beautiful river right in front, and I’d like to go swimming there next time!

The door had a traditional keyhole-style lock, but the Room was clean and comfortable to stay in. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the station, so the location is convenient.

Thank you for upgrading our room. We thoroughly enjoyed the open-air bath in the room. The meals were luxurious and more than we could finish. It was a very nice accommodation. The location was great, allowing us to explore the onsen town! Thank you very much.

We stayed with our 3-year-old child. Since we were in the LOCA THE CLASS Room, there was a sauna in the basement and a large bath that could fit about 4–5 people. Including the post-bath relaxation area, it was very spacious and thoughtfully designed. It was great that even with a child, we could bathe comfortably. There was also a refrigerator in the changing room, stocked with plenty of bottled water. It was very helpful to be able to drink cold water immediately after bathing or using the sauna without having to go up to the living room on the first floor. We didn’t use them, but there were also powdered drinks provided for before and after the sauna. The living room was spacious as well, and there were two bedrooms. The Japanese-style Room had a tatami area that became almost full once two futons were laid out, which made it feel safe and comfortable for our child at bedtime. On the other hand, there was one disappointing incident during our stay. Early in the morning, the fire alarm suddenly went off with a loud siren throughout the Accommodation. We were later told it was due to an accidental operation in another Room, but it took about an hour for security staff to check and reset everything. During that time, the alarm kept sounding continuously, so we evacuated with our child to a relatively quiet terrace. Afterward, an operator contacted us to confirm what had happened and asked whether we would still be able to make checkout on time. Since it overlapped with breakfast and getting ready in the morning, we explained it would be difficult and they extended our checkout by about 30 minutes. We appreciate their consideration; however, we had hoped to spend a relaxing morning (including enjoying another bath), so that part was unfortunate. I also saw other Reviews on different sites mentioning issues related to fire alarms. As it seems many guests come from overseas as well, I would appreciate it if you could consider measures to prevent recurrence—such as providing clearer instructions at check-in on how to handle fire alarms. Overall, both the Facility and Room itself were extremely comfortable—this is a wonderful Accommodation that is easy for families to enjoy.
