Choosing a Hotel a little away from Sapporo Station was absolutely the right decision. Every staff member provided outstanding service. A perfect 5 out of 5 is well deserved. I will definitely make a Reservation again when visiting Sapporo. Thank you for the wonderful space.

The Room was spacious and had a great ocean view. The meals were served in just the right portions, and every fish dish was delicious. Breakfast venues are often crowded, but here there was plenty of space, so we could dine comfortably in a relaxed, calm atmosphere. We would love to stay again.

Before check-in, I went to the front desk to leave my luggage (bag). When I made a request to the front desk staff, they said, “I can’t guarantee it, but I understand,” so I had assumed it would probably be difficult. However, when I checked in at 17:30, everything had been arranged exactly as I requested. I can’t share the details of what I asked for, but I would like to express my sincere gratitude to that staff member. This is an excellent Hotel with outstanding staff. I wanted to thank them in person the next day, but couldn’t find them, so I’m reaching out through this Review instead. Thank you again for your continued support.

The Room was clean and comfortable. Not only the front desk staff but also the housekeeping team were polite and pleasant.

I always stay here on business trips. Even when it’s busy, the staff guide me smoothly, and my stay is very comfortable. The amenities are well stocked, and the Room is spacious, making it easy to relax. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Kobe.

This is the best Accommodation in the Okuhida Onsen area. The value for money is outstanding. We really enjoyed the open-air bath in the Room, the private open-air bath, and the lounge area after bathing. This was our second stay.

Beautiful scenery, a resort-like atmosphere throughout the property, and carefully prepared seasonal dishes. The service was attentive, courteous, and truly pleasant. The cool natural air and enjoyable walks made me very glad I visited. Breakfast was also brought to our table, allowing us to relax and enjoy the meal at ease. I appreciated the Shuttle Service from Yudanaka Station, and taking a short break in the lounge was a wonderful time as well. Although it was a trip during the heat, I felt refreshed and ready to get through the summer with renewed energy. I am turning 77 this year. I want to continue enjoying wonderful trips—dressing up and savoring stays at Resort Hotels and Ryokans.

This was my first time in Toi, and I really enjoyed the Onsen—the water quality and temperature were excellent. The staff were very attentive, making for a comfortable stay. The Ryokan’s Facility feels a bit old, but it has charm, which I appreciated. The Onsen was kept very clean, which left a great impression. The Room was also spacious and comfortable. It was very quiet at night, and I slept soundly.

Both the space and the hospitality were very comfortable. At the end of dinner, rice and eel were served, but the eel was tough and the seasoning wasn’t to my taste. The rice was very delicious. As a Diamond member gift, I received rice. I plan to cook it in a clay pot. The bath is on the small side, but it was very clean with a faint sulfur scent—truly the best Onsen I’ve ever experienced. I was worried because I had facial allergies, but instead the itching went away and the redness subsided. Once again, I was impressed by the power of nature. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

We visited as a family of four, meeting up at Yamanashishi Station with our eldest son who lives in Tokyo and the three of us who drove from Kansai. As we got closer to the Accommodation, the country road shown by the navigation system made us think, “Could it really be this way?” and we struggled a little. If I had to mention any negatives from this trip, it would be that—and that the washbasin sink was black, so water marks were slightly noticeable after use. Upon arrival, we were surprised by how distinct and impressive it looked compared with its surroundings. We arrived about 30 minutes earlier than planned, but we were warmly welcomed and smoothly shown inside, which left a great first impression. The moment we opened the tasteful sliding entrance door set back from the gate, we were moved by the view stretching from the pine tree in the center courtyard all the way to the kura storehouse building across it. While preserving many historical elements—such as exterior walls, tiled roof, and pillars—the interior has been renovated into a clean and refined space that feels wonderful to spend time in. In both the audio room at the back where you can listen to records and the second-floor study stocked with everything from relatively recent Japanese literature to art books and foreign titles, there were chairs and ottomans in different styles arranged throughout. We were able to forget everyday life and relax at length. These spaces became favorites for my wife and daughter, who have a strong appreciation for music and art. My eldest son and I also used the sauna in the separate kura building across the courtyard before dinner. It’s available 24 hours; he enjoyed it late at night, while I went again after breakfast the next morning. In addition to a cold plunge bath there is also a regular bathtub; together with the indoor hinoki cypress bath in main building where you can fully stretch out your legs, there are two bathing options. Dinner and breakfast were served in another kura building on opposite side , featuring thoughtfully crafted dishes using plenty of local ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed everything—especially Koshu-style sukiyaki with beef and horse meat paired with three dipping sauces—alongside wine we picked up on our way there. After dinner we projected onto a large screen with projector held family drama viewing night for all four of us. We slept in bedroom where four beds could be lined up comfortably side by side. They even provided charging cables at each bedside equipped with three types of connectors—we were impressed by such attention to detail. Speaking of details: along with alcohol , refrigerator was stocked plenty chilled mineral water which was very helpful given season . There was also an assortment of nostalgic snacks card games insect-repellent items etc., showing both thoughtfulness playfulness. A location completely removed from noise spacious layout well-maintained Facilities lacking nothing an endlessly interesting interior blending old new perfectly—and being able enjoy all without interference as family four. It exceeded our expectations imagination. We’re glad chose this place for one those precious few times each year when whole family can gather . Thank you for your attentive hospitality .

This was my first time staying at a pension. The bath has free-flowing hot spring water and can be reserved for private use, so I was able to relax and enjoy it. It felt very open, and the water was wonderfully soothing. There was more than enough food, but it was delicious and I finished everything. It rained on the day of our stay, but it cleared up in the morning, and breakfast with the beautiful view tasted even better.

We visited during the July long weekend with our two children, aged 9 and 5. As soon as we entered the Room, we were amazed by the view from the living room. That alone made the trip worthwhile. Everything in the Facility felt spotless, the view from the bath was wonderful, and there was also a washer-dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. We could truly live here. The activities were also incredibly well organized, and our children had an amazing experience. We harvested vegetables together, made pasta using what we picked, and melted beeswax to make herbal lip balm. Our younger child especially loved getting to actually pound the meat, coat it in flour, dip it in egg, and cover it with breadcrumbs. There’s no way I could give anything other than a perfect 5. We would love to visit again.

I made the mistake of thinking I had booked the same Room as before, not realizing it had been completely renovated, and only noticed after entering. I hadn’t read the description carefully enough. It was my first time using a daybed, but it felt modern, and I’m satisfied with it in its own way. As for the in-room bath, last time it rained and we got caught in the rain while using the open-air bath, but this time it felt easier to use than before. However, adjusting the temperature is still a bit tricky. The meals were just as satisfying as before in both portion size and taste. Last time, simmered golden eye snapper was served at the end when I was already very full, so I couldn’t finish it, but this time it was served midway through and I was able to eat everything. That said, the seasoning of the spiny lobster dish didn’t quite suit two elderly guests like us. It felt overly elaborate and seemed to mask the lobster’s natural flavor. For us, something simpler like sashimi or simply grilled would have been better. Our attendant was a foreign national and did their best to explain each dish clearly, which we appreciated; casual conversation might be difficult though. It seems that staffing shortages have reached Hotels as well. We were impressed that you greeted us right as we drove in upon arrival and saw us off at departure—service that remained just as attentive as last time. If we have another chance to visit Izu, we would like to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

This was my first time staying at this Ryokan, and I loved the atmosphere and the view from the Room. The staff were wonderful, and the hostess’s hospitality was especially impressive. Every dish was delicious; my favorite was the clear soup, which I would love to enjoy again if I have the chance.

I stayed here while attending the F1. The price was high due to the busy season, but that’s unavoidable anywhere. For a Business Hotel, the Room was spacious and didn’t feel cramped, and there was enough space in front of the mirror and desk, which I think is especially convenient for women. The Facility was clean overall. It’s also convenient with a convenience store on-site, and it’s close to Kanayama Station, so you won’t have trouble finding places to eat nearby.

I stayed for two nights, and the Room had a warm, calm atmosphere rather than a typical business-hotel feel, making it very comfortable. The bed and bathroom were spacious, yet the Room didn’t feel cramped at all. Having a separate toilet was also a great touch and very convenient. It’s close to the station with excellent access, and there’s a convenience store nearby. Check-in and check-out were smooth as well. There are several well-known cafes in the area, along with plenty of restaurants.

I almost don’t want to share this, but I can see how hard everyone at the Hotel is working… Relax on the lovely terrace (it’s cool, and the breeze feels wonderful. Free drinks are a nice bonus, too). Unwind in the Onsen (the open-air bath is inside the building, so it stays pleasantly cool in the shade. The large windows open fully for an airy feel, and you can relax while looking out at the forest). The walkway to the dining area feels like stepping into another world—very inspiring—and of course, the food is delicious. On our way home, we had soft-serve ice cream at Takasu Farmers in Hirugano Kogen. It was great value and incredibly tasty. We also bought some lily flowers to take home. This was my first stay here. We stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room in the Sasara building, which had been renovated and was very clean. The staff member assisting us was a foreigner, so some explanations of the meals were a little hard to understand, but it was clear they had studied well. Every dish was delicious. By chance, it was the first day of the Gero Onsen Festival, and I was moved to be able to watch the fireworks while soaking in the open-air bath at night. We were able to relax and enjoy our time.

When I arrived at Sapporo Station, it was drizzling, but I didn’t feel like taking an umbrella out of my luggage. I crossed the crosswalk without one, and the entrance was right there. It was very convenient to plan my schedule with the station as a starting point for getting anywhere. The staff were also very kind and helpful, so I had a comfortable stay. Thank you very much.
