I originally planned to stay at a mountain hut for a hike, but the weather turned bad, so I changed plans to sightseeing in Kanazawa and made a Reservation at this Hotel. When I arrived at the parking lot, the building looked old from the outside and I was a little worried, but once I went to the lobby and then to my Room, I was glad I chose this place. First of all, everyone in the lobby was kind, pleasant, and very helpful. The lobby interior was wonderful, and the Room had been beautifully renovated. I had a very comfortable stay. With Kanazawa Castle right next door, it’s also very convenient for sightseeing. Next time I come to Kanazawa, I’d like to stay here again.

Used for one night during a trip around Tohoku. I booked at a great price and honestly didn’t expect much, but the value for money was outstanding—I was truly impressed. The room felt a bit dated, but it was kept very clean and was spacious enough to be comfortable. I also loved the ocean view at sunrise. What really stood out was the buffet. They offered plenty of local specialties such as Morioka reimen, wanko soba, and imoni, and the roast beef was authentic. Not only Japanese dishes but also Western and Chinese options—an incredible variety with so many choices. Lots of desserts too! There was even a chocolate fountain that kids would love, and the fruit quality was excellent. Everything tasted delicious—truly wonderful. The all-you-can-drink alcohol selection was also extensive; it almost made me worry whether they can make a profit with this price for one night with two meals included. Breakfast was just as fantastic. The buffet layout is refined and uncluttered as well. I’ve stayed in many places, but this buffet is better than that of certain members-only resort hotels. It really reminded me that hospitality matters more than facilities. It’s lively with what seem to be repeat guests from nearby prefectures, yet they don’t appear to overbook beyond their capacity—the service is attentive throughout. It’s a shame it’s too far for me to visit often. I’m honestly jealous of those who live nearby. A family trip here would be guaranteed to satisfy everyone.

The beach was right in front of us, and from the rooftop Onsen pool we had a panoramic view over Karatsu city. We were welcomed with a cake, and there were also sweets in our Room, plus a whole lineup of ice cream before the bath. The breakfast buffet was so plentiful we couldn’t finish it, with an excellent selection of desserts as well. As expected from Chateraise—I wished we could have stayed one more night.

Thank you, Awakan, for your warm hospitality. My mother has loved traveling since long ago. We were poor when I was little, but she managed to take me to Awaji Island. I wanted her to be able to take her time and look out at that sea again. The weather wasn’t great, but as expected of a special room—we could relax on the spacious sofa and share many memories. The meals were generous, luxurious, and delicious. Most of the staff were international, but everyone was very kind and treated my mother in a wheelchair with gentle care and courtesy. With so many staff members, the place felt lively. It was heartwarming to see small children from other families greeting the staff in cute English, while what seemed like grandparents looked on happily. We also enjoyed the lovely view from the window of parents and children having fun fishing. I felt this is an Accommodation that families can enjoy no matter what stage of life they are in.

This stay was even better than before—the complimentary drink corner was more well-stocked, the available hours had increased, and an all-you-can-drink draft beer option had been added, which was great. Also, there is now a take-away coffee station after breakfast, which was a nice touch. However, the cup was quite hot to carry, so I would appreciate it if something could be provided to prevent the outside from getting too hot.\nI will stay again.\nThe woman who checked me in was also very pleasant and thanked me for staying with you several times.

I stayed for two nights and felt relaxed by the soothing aroma throughout the hotel. The room had high ceilings, felt spacious, and was elegantly furnished. Everything was clean, and the amenities were well stocked, so I didn’t need to bring much with me. I also appreciated having a water purifier for drinking water. The bed wasn’t too soft, and I slept very well. Breakfast was delicious with both Japanese and Western options, and they even had Nagasaki castella—I was very satisfied. The front desk staff were professional, welcoming, and attentive, always with lovely smiles.

We truly enjoyed the delicious meals at both breakfast and dinner. The bath was also very comfortable. The ocean view from our Room and from the large public bath was especially beautiful and memorable. By chance, we were able to see fireworks, which delighted our granddaughter. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

This is my third year traveling to Kusatsu Onsen in summer, and I was finally able to stay at Naraya as I had long hoped. The free-flowing Onsen from Shirahata Gensen was wonderful, and I enjoyed it many times. The Room was clean, and the meal was excellent—especially the sushi served at the end, which was so delicious that I left completely satisfied. I felt there were many younger staff members, but everyone greeted me with a smile, making it a great trip. I would definitely like to stay again.

The Seto Ohashi Bridge looked beautiful from both the Room and the scenic open-air bath, and the view was amazing! The meals weren’t served on large shared platters; each dish came in its own small bowl, all carefully prepared and truly delicious. We made a Reservation because we were looking for an all-inclusive Accommodation, and everything—the food, drinks, baths, service, and views—was outstanding. We would love to come again with our family.

I often stay here the night before a flight because it’s close to the airport. It’s clean, has a large public bath, and is very relaxing. I honestly wish I could stay a little longer. This time, there were also complimentary drinks, so I enjoyed some quiet time alone in the lounge. I’d like to stay here again.

We stayed at the very end of summer vacation, and everything was wonderful—the meals, the baths, the renovated Room, and the excellent service from all staff. During meals, we often saw how thoughtfully they looked out for our young children, and the front desk staff were also very kind, making our stay truly pleasant. We had almost given up on using the pool because of the rain, but it cleared up on checkout day, so we were able to fully enjoy both the pool and the slide—our kids were thrilled. Thank you as well to the staff member watching over the pool for regularly skimming leaves and sharing helpful information. It was a perfect way to end summer vacation, and our whole family is very satisfied with these great memories. We will definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful time!

What I was most satisfied with this time was, of course, the Onsen. The water had a strong sulfur scent—exactly what you’d expect from Manza Onsen. The scenic open-air bath with its incredible views felt amazing, and I ended up going in five times during my stay. I’ve always loved Manza Onsen, and this visit reminded me just how great the water is here. Meals were buffet-style, with roast beef as the highlight. It wasn’t especially luxurious, but considering the Accommodation Fee overall, both the selection and taste were more than satisfying. The all-inclusive plan was also a big plus. Drinks are unlimited, and you can enjoy snacks and ice cream as well. There’s table tennis and other activity corners in the building; on this day, the activity was calligraphy. It was nice to have things to do besides the Onsen, and I could truly relax. The staff were polite and attentive, and the facilities were kept very clean, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The Room had both air conditioning and a fan. The refrigerator is empty so you can use it freely. There are vending machines in the building as well, and I appreciated that they also offer a late-night snack service. I stayed in late September, but because of the high elevation it gets quite cold in the mornings and at night. If you’re visiting from now on, bringing an extra layer to throw on will help you feel prepared. If the weather is good, you can also enjoy a beautiful starry sky at night. Rather than coming for luxury dining, I’d recommend this Accommodation for anyone who wants to take their time enjoying Manza’s distinctive sulfur springs, spectacular open-air baths with views, and an all-inclusive stay. Manza’s hot spring water really is outstanding—I’d love to come back again just for the Onsen.

Three generations of our family, including myself, stayed here. We truly appreciated the thoughtful care shown throughout our stay, especially the consideration for my mother, who has difficulty walking, and we were able to relax comfortably. When we visit Arima Onsen again, we would love to stay here. Thank you very much.

We chose Nonokaze Resort because of its great location and lake views, and because it was highly praised on social media by visitors from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. First of all, the staff service was outstanding across the board. We had stayed the previous night at Noboribetsu Boro Noguchi (also part of Noguchi Kanko), and were impressed by their excellent service—Nonokaze was just as wonderful. The food was also exceptional. Instead of the famous buffet, we had a French course dinner, and it was truly delicious. Breakfast offered a wide variety of Hokkaido specialties in both food and drinks, and everything we tried was excellent. There are two large public baths, a well-stocked shop, fireworks to enjoy from your room at night, and Lake Toya to admire the moment you wake up in the morning. It felt like an amusement park-style hot spring resort where you could stay all day without getting bored. It’s a place I’d definitely want to return to next time as well. Now I understand why international guests rave about it on social media. As a Diamond member benefit we received a bottle of wine; since I have an alcohol allergy and can’t drink it, they kindly changed it to non-alcoholic sparkling wine instead. I truly felt hospitality that rivals a five-star hotel.

This time we stayed in a special Room with a private open-air bath. The water temperature was comfortable 24 hours a day, the tub was spacious enough for two people to relax, and the cypress wood rim added a warm touch—I think I soaked in it about ten times. We also had three bath towels each, plus a wide towel rack to hang them, which made everything stress-free. One suggestion: I used the open-air bath around 7 a.m., but the direct sunlight was very strong. It would be nice to have something like bamboo blinds to block the sun. We also used the large public bath, and as with other Kyoritsu Resort properties such as Dormy Inn, it had plenty of washing space and was easy to use. And when it comes to Kyoritsu Resort, there’s the late-night ramen service. Since this is Hakodate, they offer salt ramen in addition to soy sauce ramen. We expected breakfast—known for being popular—to involve waiting in line, but thanks to the special Room privileges they reserved our preferred seating (such as semi-private booths or window seats) at a designated time. That was great. Of course, the meal selection lived up to its reputation. All drinks in the Room were free—including whisky—and there was also a sparkling water maker. Overall it was excellent. The price is high, but given how well-equipped everything is, we felt it was worth it. We’d love to stay again if possible.

Check-in and Dining As we were staying with a large group, they handled our additional requests smoothly. They thoughtfully arranged the seating for dinner, and it seemed the same consideration was carried over to breakfast. We were able to enjoy our meals in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything was delicious, and we were fully satisfied both visually and in terms of portion size. The Onsen was also wonderful. We received smart, unobtrusive, and attentive service throughout. It was a truly great stay. Thank you very much.

Before the end of the rainy season, it rained and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji during our stay. The location was excellent, and both the dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious—we ate lots of great food, and beer was all-you-can-drink. The Onsen felt a bit lukewarm, and there was only an indoor bath with no open-air bath, but overall we were satisfied. In the Japanese-style Room, it was cold with the air conditioner and summer bedding, so we used a blanket from the closet. The pillows were low. The air conditioner was positioned out of sight, and the Room became quite dry while sleeping, so next time we turned on the humidifier in the corner of the Room. Being confused in the middle of the night was a small downside. There were water and coffee services at reception, an extension cord for charging in the Room, and Japanese sweets provided as well—these thoughtful details were much appreciated.

We stayed in the ocean-side Special Room “Winter Moon” (Japanese-Western style). When we were shown to the Room and stepped inside, we couldn’t help but gasp at the breathtaking view of Matsushima spread out before us—absolutely wonderful! The Room was very spacious, easy to use, and lovely. Although there is a large bath in the Room, we went to the large public bath on the first floor. The view from there was also beautiful, and the open-air bath was so comfortable that it felt like we could soak forever. Even though it was a holiday period with many guests staying, everything—including the bathing area—was impeccably clean and well maintained. It also felt calm and relaxing, so we were able to spend our time very comfortably. For dinner, we requested a Japanese restaurant. The dishes there were also beautiful and delicious, full of seasonal flavors using ingredients from Miyagi. The service at the restaurant was excellent as well, and we had a wonderful time. Just steps from the tram stop—perfect as a base for exploring the city! Toyama Castle is also nearby, making it ideal for an evening stroll. Don’t miss the breakfast—highly recommended! The local Toyama ingredients and dishes are delicious. You might end up eating too much.

This is a Hotel where you can easily go back and forth between the beach and the pool, making it very enjoyable. We stayed with small children, but even though the restaurant is spacious, it didn’t feel crowded, so we could dine at a relaxed pace. They also lend out fireworks sets, so we were able to enjoy fireworks on the beach at night. Amenities are available for you to take back to your Room as needed, but it wasn’t inconvenient. We stayed for two nights and three days; if you leave towels outside the door, they will be replaced with fresh ones. It was our first stay in a while, but the place had been renovated and made for a comfortable trip.
