I found this Facility as a pet-friendly option in the Suwa–Matsumoto area that seemed easy to use and reasonably priced. As you make your way through a maze-like residential neighborhood, the space suddenly opens up and you’ll find the Facility there. The Room is small but unique and comfortable, truly living up to its name as a “secret base you can stay in.” The Room is kept very clean, with amenities and supplies well provided. Despite its size, it’s arranged so you can move efficiently and relax with ease. It was a great example of how to make the most of a compact Room.

We stayed here as three generations of our family. The Room was spacious, the view was wonderful, and we enjoyed a truly luxurious time. The balcony was especially pleasant—during the day we all enjoyed the pool, and at night we stargazed together. We had a truly luxurious stay. We would love to stay again.

We were looking for accommodation for our family of five and one dog, and we found this place. Since we live in an area without the sea, both our family and dog were thrilled with the ocean right in front of us. The absence of a TV actually increased family conversations, and we felt closer through activities like Othello, card games, soccer, and badminton. The manager was very kind and attentive, and we would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

We stayed as three families and booked three villas. Each villa had a lovely Room, and we had a very comfortable stay. The complimentary drinks and snacks at the management building were also a nice touch. Since it was still a bit early for ocean activities, we brought our own fishing gear and relaxed. The staff kindly arranged the setup so all three families could dine together, and we had a great time sharing BBQ, bouillabaisse, and sushi. We were worried dinner might not be enough, so we bought extra meat beforehand, but it turned out to be more than enough—everything was delicious. The clam miso soup served with the sushi was especially outstanding. Breakfast was also stylish, with bagels as the main item on the plate, and it tasted great. However, for children who don’t like bagels or for my father who has dental issues, they were too hard to eat—so it would be nice to have a choice of several options such as croissants or French toast. The yogurt was plain with no sweetness, so fruit yogurt or jam served on the side would be appreciated. The Room was comfortable overall, and both the beds and futons felt wonderful. One small inconvenience was that there wasn’t a place to hang bath towels; having one behind the sink would be helpful. There were hangers and a rack, but once we hung jackets and clothes it was full. Since swimwear is required in Rooms with an outdoor bath, I think additional hangers and space to dry wet swimsuits are necessary. I’ve noted some points here, but overall this was an excellent Accommodation and we would love to visit again. All staff members were kind and responded thoughtfully to our requests. Thank you very much for everything.

This was our first time staying here. Places that allow large dogs are still rare, and even when they do, they can be expensive. We’ve traveled by sleeping in the car before, but this was also our first time in a cottage, so we arrived feeling a bit nervous. We were warmly welcomed by the kind owner, and the Facility was clean with a cozy atmosphere—wonderful overall. The dog amenities were very well stocked, so next time we can pack lighter. We also enjoyed nearby parks and other spots, with plenty of places that made us want to keep walking more and more. It’s somewhere you’ll want to visit in every season. Both our dog and we were completely satisfied! We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here for a Multiple Night Stay about a week ago. The Room was the perfect size for two, with simple yet refined interiors and a very clean feel. The bath was made of wood, so we were able to enjoy a relaxing and wonderful soak without even going to an Onsen. Since our Room had a kitchen, we cooked and ate ingredients we bought at a roadside station. In the beautifully maintained garden with great views, there were benches and tables, so we had breakfast there and truly enjoyed it while feeling close to nature—it was very satisfying. At night, we could also gaze at Aso’s quiet, beautiful starry sky. What made our stay even better was how wonderful the owner is as a person. They were genuinely kind and thoughtfully suggested travel plans in Kumamoto and Miyazaki tailored to us. They also introduced us to truly delicious restaurants and lovely places that you can’t find in guidebooks or on Instagram. (Actually, during our trip in Aso I lost my engagement ring, and because on the last day we returned to Aso after visiting Takachiho Gorge, we were able to go to the recommended bakery and Oshitoishi Hill—and miraculously, I found my engagement ring!) The rice balls made from their carefully selected rice were also exceptional. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories in Aso. We would love to stay again!

[Hospitality & Service] The Facility staff were kind, friendly, easy to talk to, and truly wonderful. When the fire wouldn’t light, they helped right away, and the next morning they even came over to check on us. From check-in to check-out, their warm and refreshing service made us feel great throughout our stay. (I could tell the moment we arrived that the staff were genuinely nice—haha.) [Room] Both inside and outside the Room were unbelievably clean. The bath was spacious and relaxing, and the air conditioning worked perfectly—“comfortable” is exactly the right word. *My friend said the floor in the Room was so clean, cool, and pleasant that he slept on it even though there was a bed—lol.* Everything we used within the Facility was spotless, so you can really tell how much care goes into every detail. [Other] I honestly have no complaints at all, but if I had to mention just three things: 1) It might be nice to have a TV or something in the Facility? → Since you can enjoy BBQ until night, I personally didn’t need one because it’s great just soaking up the atmosphere—but some guests might head back to their Room earlier. 2) The reception location (at check-in) → It’s not particularly hard to find, but since reception is on the opposite side of the main road, having a sign or clearer guidance might help. (There was information online.) 3) This is such a great Facility that I’d love for you to upload more photos!!! → It was even better than what I expected from the listing photos, so I ended up being pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. [Finally] This time I happened to see “Hikone Lakeside Resort KOMOREVILLAGO” recommended and made a Reservation—but it made me want it to become more well-known because it’s such a place worth supporting. It feels like it will keep developing further as well, so I’m really looking forward to what’s next—haha. I know it must be tough at times, but I hope you keep going strong. We visited as a family trip. Because we arrived late, we checked in, picked up the welcome sweets, took a look at our Room, and then headed to the Onsen. The outdoor bath “Shirogane-no-Yu” was wonderful—my skin felt so moisturized! We stayed in a Villa Suite. It’s a log-cabin cottage style Accommodation, and the Room was spacious, very clean, and truly relaxing. There aren’t any paintings or decorations in the Room, but the sky, mountains, and trees seen through the window feel like a framed work of art—I could watch it forever (laugh). It made me realize how long it had been since I lived without thinking about time. For dinner we went to Restaurant Aoyama Ryokusui. You can enjoy dishes that reflect Oze’s nature, such as game meat and wild mountain vegetables. Even while waiting for the next course, staff brought ingredients to show us, so we enjoyed the time between dishes as well. Before bed we went to another Onsen inside the Facility. We were told it uses the same water as Shirogane-no-Yu, and it was perfect for a slow soak at night. The next morning we drove to Shiori Pass to see Takigumo (waterfall clouds). We were lucky enough to see them! Waking up early was worth it. It’s just a short drive from the Facility, so I highly recommend it. Breakfast included seasonal vegetables and wild mountain plants as well as river fish—and above all, the rice was delicious! Many of the staff are young, but everyone was polite and greeted us with warm smiles, which helped us relax throughout our stay. If you arrive earlier there also seems to be a kitchen tour; I’d love to join next time if I have the chance. Honestly, my only thought is that I wish we could have stayed longer… We definitely want to come back!

We had the pleasure of welcoming the New Year with exceptional cuisine crafted by the chef, excellent management, and warm hospitality from the staff. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy two days of creative dishes made with carefully selected ingredients from Munakata. The pumpkin potage was truly remarkable. We look forward to visiting again to experience another unforgettable moment.

The Facility was very clean with almost no odor, making it extremely pleasant. We stayed in a suite, which was so spacious for two people that it felt like too much room—probably enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The view from the living room was also fantastic. The meals were delicious, and it was wonderful that dogs could join us at the table. All the Hotel staff were dog lovers and fully committed to a dog-first approach, making our stay exceptional. We would love to stay here again many times in the future!

When I found this Accommodation while looking for a place to stay in Kamakura, I felt so happy—this is it! That feeling was not disappointed at all; thanks to the wonderful space and warm hospitality, we were able to spend a truly happy time. We had both dinner and breakfast, and everything was delicious. We were moved by the chef’s attention to detail in every dish. The garden was also beautiful, and we felt lucky to see not only our dog but also visiting squirrels and small birds. It seemed to be run by a younger team, but everyone had a great atmosphere. The entire Hotel was refined and very clean, making it comfortable to stay. My mother struggled a little, so having grab bars in the bathroom would be greatly appreciated for older guests. It’s a place that made us want to come back. Thank you very much for everything.

Thank you very much for your hospitality! I usually stay at a hotel when visiting Karuizawa, so this was my first experience staying in a vacation rental. However, it was not inconvenient at all and very enjoyable. The kitchen utensils were plentiful, and we had fun cooking vegetables and meat purchased from Hotsuchi Ichiba. The amenities were great overall; the bath towels and face towels were fluffy and comfortable to use. However, it was slightly disappointing that some towel fibers stuck to my face and body after use. Still, I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

We stayed with our dog. The Accommodation was very clean and spacious, and we were able to relax comfortably with our family. The only thing we noticed was that there was no partition wall for the shower, so water splashed out when using it, but everyone in our group, including our family members, was very satisfied. We would like to stay again. *Regarding hospitality and service, everything—including check-in and check-out—was handled remotely, so we had almost no direct interaction with staff.

This was my first time experiencing a wood stove, and it was much warmer than I imagined, allowing me to spend a very precious and comfortable time. Although it rained on the day, the barbecue area was well-equipped with roofing and rain protection, so we could enjoy ourselves without worrying about the weather. The entire accommodation was thoroughly cleaned, making it very clean and comfortable. The furniture and interior were chosen to match the traditional Japanese house atmosphere, creating a calm space where I could relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils like dishes and a rice cooker, so you can easily cook your own meals by just bringing ingredients. I highly recommend this accommodation for those who want to relax while enjoying nature and the charm of an old Japanese house.

We ended up staying for two nights on short notice at the end of summer. For the past 7–8 years, we’ve stayed every year at similar places around Kamakura and Hayama, but this was our first time here—and our whole family agreed it was the best by far. Every Room was stylish and spotless, and the theater Room in particular was amazing—we all enjoyed watching movies together. Morito Beach is just a short walk away, and everything you need is nearby. We spent three days saying we wanted to move here as a family, and on the last day we had to calm down the kids who didn’t want to leave before heading home in tears. Due to our lack of communication, you had to make unnecessary preparations, and even after we left some luggage arrived—causing you a lot of trouble—but you handled everything very kindly. We would love to stay again if we have the chance. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

The living room is spacious, there are many guest rooms, a large TV, a pool, sauna, and barbecue facilities. It was enjoyable without needing to travel abroad. It was unfortunate that the knives were not sharp enough to prepare fish. I would love to stay here again.

The ocean view that greeted us the moment we entered the Room, the stylish background music, and every flower and decorative touch were wonderful. Unfortunately, we had strong winds and rain, but spending a relaxing, luxurious time in such a lovely Room was the best. Also, having the chef cook right in front of us became an unforgettable memory for our children as well, even though they were a little nervous. We would love to come back to enjoy the different views in summer, autumn, and winter from this beautiful Room. All of the staff were very kind. Thank you for taking such great care of us.
