We enjoyed a lot at the Hotel, playing mini-golf and swimming in the pool. If we had more time, it seemed fun to take the lift to enjoy the scenery and go hiking. I thought it was a good Hotel to stay with children and spend time leisurely. The bath was also nice, and the buffet restaurant was delicious and good.

[From Check-in to the Room] We arrived by car and were warmly welcomed. After check-in, we were escorted to our Room while enjoying tea and sweets. [Attractions] We chose one of the two activities and whisked matcha ourselves, then enjoyed tea on the Sky Corridor for a perfect digital detox. There was also a surprise arranged by my wife and the staff for me, which truly moved me—thank you so much. [Dinner] As the title suggests, the meal featured carefully selected ingredients gathered along the Tokaido route and a strong focus on water quality. We’ve enjoyed excellent cuisine at many places (Sekaie, Miwa, Karaku, Mayufutahari, Honbako, Hoshino Resorts, etc.), but this surpassed them all. From the dashi to rice served multiple ways with different textures and aromas, everything delighted all five senses—and our conversation with the staff made time fly by. Personally, I especially loved the rare bonito cutlet and Tajima-Gen beef shabu-shabu with chilled chawanmushi. [Breakfast] It began with wake-up tea. We had two kinds of dried fish (including horse mackerel), both outstanding. As with dinner, rice cooked in a clay pot was excellent—not only as white rice but also as crispy scorched rice enjoyed in hot water (“kogashi-yu”), which was a new discovery for us. Personally, I especially enjoyed the dried fish and simmered vegetables. [Room] A functional Room with thoughtful touches such as aroma oil for stone warming and three types of tea. Since it’s designed for digital detoxing there is no TV. We relaxed slowly in the semi-open-air bath in our Room. [Service] Everyone provided exceptional service—from those who helped arrange our surprise from Reservation through arrival day, to those who whisked matcha together with us as beginners; from dinner service by someone who shared my wife’s name to breakfast staff who kindly accommodated an unexpected request. Each moment became a lasting memory. [Overall] We will definitely return—next time in autumn or spring would be ideal. With such comfortable hospitality from everyone here, this Accommodation is deeply soothing and easy to recommend. Since it has only recently opened up: personally speaking it would be nice to have insect screens on the outer windows by the semi-open-air bath; also given how much care goes into tea and ingredients it might be great to have a small space where guests can buy souvenirs such as tea leaves teaware or dried fish as keepsakes.

I made my first Reservation at this Hotel because a friend staying with me wanted to bring their dog. The owner and his wife were very friendly and easy to talk to. The Room had a standard unit bath, but the large stone communal bath was spacious and very relaxing. The best part here is the food. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we left completely full. It’s a Hotel I’d visit just for the meals. I’d definitely like to stay again.

The area is surrounded by a few houses and lots of trees, creating a very relaxing space where you can forget about your daily life. Highly recommended for those who want to spend time leisurely in nature. The kitchen utensils are sufficiently equipped, so you won't have trouble cooking. The hand soap provided was from diptyque, allowing us to enjoy its fragrance. As for the sauna and Onsen, we were extremely satisfied. Turning off the lights revealed a starry sky, which was truly moving. Since there were no fences, you could sit comfortably, and the nearby trees allowed us to feel close to nature. The disappointing aspects were the limited cooking ingredients, the towels having a damp smell, which was slightly unpleasant, and the showerhead being broken, making it difficult to use. It would be better if the amenities were more well-prepared. Nonetheless, I would love to visit again! Regarding the price, it was a bit disappointing that despite making an early Reservation, there was a last-minute discount on the official website, making it about 5,000 yen cheaper.

Check-in was available from 15:00, and we enjoyed our time to the fullest. The Room and Facility were still new and clean. We would love to use it again along with golf. Thank you very much!

This was my first time staying here. The Facility is new and very clean, and the sauna in particular was very comfortable, with oils and other items provided. As for the amenities, it was a bit disappointing that the frying pan was old, but there were no inconveniences at all overall, and everything was easy to use.

A very warm family-run accommodation! The host, his wife, and their children were very friendly and approachable, leaving a great impression. Additionally, the bread baked by the wife was exceptional, making for a wonderfully tasteful breakfast. It was such a pleasant accommodation that I would love to stay here again if given the chance. We checked in around 9 PM after watching the Tateshina Lake Fireworks Festival. The gracious master warmly welcomed us. Looking at the wall, there was a jazz live poster. It was a pity that we missed a major artist's live performance by just one day. It's wonderful to have such a big band come to a pension, which is quite charming given the location. We used a room for four people with just the two of us, so it was very spacious. The beds were two single-sized ones, very comfortable with excellent cushioning and performance. The bath was a unit bath like in a regular household, with water replaced for each user, and there were two of them. There was plenty of hot water, which was nice. The toilet was shared, but it had a washlet, so there was no inconvenience. For example, there was no trash can or tissue in the room, but there were high-quality paper towels in the washroom. There was also a free lounge with a refrigerator, microwave, and various tableware that could be used freely, making it a very convenient system once you got used to it. It was a cold night with temperatures dropping below 10°C, but the room heater quietly and comfortably warmed the space. Breakfast was served by the owner couple on a single plate, but the salad with plenty of local vegetables was very fresh and delicious. The bread was all-you-can-eat, so those who want to eat a lot are welcome. Considering the price, I think it's a property with excellent cost performance. Next time, I would love to stay for the live performance. I wish the owner couple continued health and success.

The facility is not new, but the 8-tatami mat room comes fully equipped with a refrigerator-freezer, microwave, sink, dishes, pots and pans, an electric stove, and a rice cooker—everything needed for self-catering. The bathroom only has a shower; however, towels, bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided so you don't need to bring your own. The stairs up to the third floor are narrow but staying for three people with no meals included at 12,000 yen was very affordable. Being in the town center means there are nearby restaurants and izakayas as well as an A-Coop supermarket where you can buy ingredients for cooking. We stayed here during a fishing trip and were able to reserve bento boxes delivered at 4 AM—very convenient for early morning fishing or hiking trips. It was such a great accommodation that I would like to use it again. When the ferry was canceled due to bad weather and we extended our stay overnight (multiple night stay), they kindly offered us discounted rates for consecutive nights.

We stayed here during Obon on August 15 with three generations—eight of us in total, including my daughter and three grandchildren aged 4, 3, and 1. The Accommodation had plenty of toys and books for the children, and they had a great time playing. The owner also gave them a rhinoceros beetle as a gift, which made them very happy. For meals, we rented BBQ equipment for 2,000 yen and enjoyed a barbecue. We thought we would need to start the fire ourselves, but the charcoal was already lit, so we could enjoy the BBQ with ease. The kids kept saying they wanted to stay here forever, so we’d love to come back if we have the chance!

The building has a vintage charm, with creaking hallways and stairs adding to its character. The room is a simple and calming Japanese-style room. Facilities and amenities are comparable to those of a Business Hotel. There are shared toilets on each floor, kept very clean, and the washbasins are spacious and convenient to use. The bath is newly renovated and can accommodate about five people at once, though the water pressure in the shower was slightly weak. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with dinner being particularly impressive due to its variety and generous portions. The hotel is managed solely by the owner couple, who handle everything themselves. It must be challenging during busy seasons—please take care of yourselves! I look forward to staying here again someday.

We stayed here for a family trip with our children in elementary, middle, and high school. The property is a beautiful standalone house with multiple rooms, which made the kids very happy as they could each choose their favorite spot to sleep comfortably. My husband enjoys cooking, so he was pleased that the kitchen was well-equipped with seasonings and tableware like at home. We even cooked Hokkaido rice we happened to buy at a supermarket and enjoyed it for breakfast. It would have been nice if there was hand soap in the bathroom. While it wasn’t an issue for us since we usually bring our own, please note that pajamas and toothbrushes are not provided, so guests will need to bring their own. The spacious bath allowed us to relax fully, creating wonderful memories of our stay.

I stayed for one night on a weekday. Coincidentally, we were the only guests that day, which was nice, but the view stretching from the town below to the sea was breathtaking. The night view from the room was also stunning and thoroughly enjoyable. The hosts were pleasant, the food was delicious, and while the building itself is ordinary, it was impeccably clean with no complaints at all. Since it is located slightly away from highways and towns, I highly recommend it for those who want to enjoy sunrise or night views in tranquility.

I visited Suzaka for reasons other than sightseeing. After finishing my main errands, it was still before check-in, so they kindly stored my luggage. They also used a map to explain the area around the Accommodation so I could spend my free time well. It was raining, but thanks to their help I was able to enjoy exploring the area. After checking in and having dinner out, I had a great time in the evening chatting with the Accommodation staff and a guest from Spain. After check-out, they drove me to where I needed to go, which was a huge help. If I have another chance to visit Suzaka, I would love to stay again.

This was my first time staying here. The road leading to the Hotel (Lodge) is quite steep. While it wasn’t an issue for our home, certain cars might struggle. The road is narrow, and the broken curve mirror made it a bit inconvenient to check around corners. Considering the price, the Room, meals, and service were satisfactory; however, my wife was disappointed that there was no salad bar as shown in the Hotel's promotional images. On a positive note, even though the sink, toilet, and bath were shared facilities, they were clean and very well-maintained. Please ensure that all images and information about the Hotel are kept up-to-date regularly.
