It was a spacious Western-style room with a modern Japanese touch. Since it’s not a large Accommodation, there were few guests and the atmosphere was very calm. Not only was the food excellent, but the salt-grilled ayu was tender and delicious right down to the bones—very satisfying! The staff were all kind, and we felt Fukui’s warmth. It was reasonably priced to begin with, and with the “Fukui Prefecture Accommodation Campaign,” we were able to stay at an even better value.

Remembering how delicious the food was when I previously visited with my daughter, my spouse and I returned this time. We arrived by car a little before 3:00 p.m., but many staff members greeted us with warm smiles, which was very reassuring. All of the staff were wonderful, and both the Facility and our Room were clean and comfortable. Dining in the stillness, with only the sound of evening cicadas in the background, each dish was thoughtfully crafted and looked as beautiful as it tasted. We were also delighted by an extra chef’s special that wasn’t on the menu—it felt truly heartfelt. As a history enthusiast, I signed up for the “Mystery-Solving Adventure: Discover History and Stories.” I didn’t feel much of a historical element, but solving puzzles while enjoying our meal was more than enjoyable. Even though we stayed at a great value using IKYU Earn Points, we were also given prizes, which made us feel almost undeserving. This is an Accommodation I would definitely recommend to others. I’d love to visit again in another season. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

At the end of our Golden Week trip to Beppu, we moved on to Yufuin. We stayed here for our final night. This time, we booked the “Carefully Selected Kyushu Wagyu Tenderloin Indulgence Plan” and spent one night in the PREMIUM Suite Room “Kunugi.” To sum it up, it was unquestionably a wonderful stay. First of all, the Room is spacious! A relaxing Japanese-style living room, plus a bedroom with a second living area. And the highlight is surely the open-air bath on the large terrace—amazingly, there are two baths: one fully open-air and one semi-open-air! The weather was great that day, so we enjoyed the breeze and long soaks. I was still in the bath right up until just before check-out (lol). The meal was also excellent—the main dish featured both tenderloin and Bungo chicken. It was also appreciated that anything we couldn’t finish could be served again the next morning. That said, it’s quite a generous portion, so those with smaller appetites should take note. The Accommodation staff’s service was at a very satisfying level. There are many other Accommodations in Yufuin I’d like to try someday, but this stay was a perfect finale to our Golden Week trip.

The night view was beautiful, and we could see Atami Castle illuminated from our Room! The bath in the Room was also great, and breakfast was delicious! At first, we missed the road leading into the Ryokan and drove past it. Going back and taking the uphill road from the main street was a bit nerve-racking! The service was excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay!

With easy access from Junglia and wanting to stay on Kouri Island, I made a Reservation here. It was very convenient—less than a 30-minute drive from Junglia! On the way, seeing the view from Kouri Bridge again after a long time really got me excited! When I arrived at the Hotel and headed to the entrance, a staff member came out to greet me and carried my luggage for me. Since I checked in much earlier than planned, I asked if it would be possible to make a dinner Reservation, and they kindly accommodated me (it may have been the last available seat). Just like the Reviews said, the food here was outstanding! For dinner, I ordered beef sirloin steak, hamburger steak, garlic shrimp, and other Okinawan dishes. Every dish was carefully prepared with great seasoning—truly impressive. Breakfast included freshly baked bread, a salad plate, soup, and coffee; both the portion size and taste were completely satisfying. The Room was exactly as shown in the photos—stylish and clean with a white-and-blue theme—and it was very comfortable. Personally, I really appreciated having a vanity separate from the sink area; it was very convenient to use. I’d love to stay here again when I visit Kouri Island next time!

Traveling solo as a woman, I wanted an Accommodation where I could spend time quietly and enjoy delicious meals, so I stayed here this time—and it was absolutely the right choice. Each dish was prepared with such care, and I ate in amazement at how delicious everything was. The tuna eaten with egg-yolk soy sauce and the gently sweet Glacier Rice were especially memorable; every dish stayed with me, and whenever I think back, I find myself wanting to eat them again. The proprietress was also very kind, and thanks to her thoughtful attention to detail, I was able to relax in comfort and feel completely at ease during my quiet stay. The Room has large windows, and the view of lush greenery is truly soothing. It rained throughout my stay so the weather wasn’t on my side, but the slightly dim atmosphere of the Room felt calm in its own way. Sitting by a slightly open window, listening to the rain while looking outside felt like it brought my mind back into balance. As this Accommodation hosts only five groups per day, the atmosphere inside was very peaceful. The weather made it especially quiet this time, but I really appreciated being able to enjoy the Onsen and time in my Room without worrying about others around me. With a typhoon and earthquakes occurring close together there were moments that made me uneasy, but both the proprietress and the chef checked on me with such genuine care that I could stay relaxed until the very end. The food, the Room, and everyone’s character were all wonderful—this was a warm Accommodation where even a solo traveler can truly unwind. They showed such kindness right up until departure; it became an unforgettable trip. I’m so glad I decided to go. I would love to visit again.

Everything was wonderful, from the warm welcome to the farewell. While everything was excellent, the meals and the beautifully maintained garden stood out in particular. The meals were carefully prepared with time and were truly delicious. The garden was very well cared for, and the fresh greenery was especially impressive. It was such a great Accommodation that I wanted to visit again with my parents, so I made a Reservation for November right away.

This Hotel was truly wonderful, with breathtaking views of Hayama and the warm hospitality of the entire staff. In particular, the Misaki-caught longtooth grouper served at dinner was perfectly cooked by the chef and genuinely moving—its plump, tender white flesh and rich fat that melted in my mouth were unforgettable. With outstanding cuisine and exceptional service, it became a very special stay. Thank you very much.

I stayed here on a solo trip as a treat for myself. From the moment I arrived, I was comforted by the staff’s warm and attentive hospitality. The meals were packed with fresh vegetables, with generous portions—I was completely satisfied. On top of that, the all-you-can-drink option, pre-dinner snacks, and dessert service made it a truly pampering stay. I was so full after dinner that I unfortunately couldn’t eat dessert, but next time I’d like to plan my appetite better so I can enjoy it. Even when we drove past the Hotel on our way out, the staff waved to me with big smiles, and it left me feeling warmly happy—almost to tears. Next time I’ll come with my family. I wasn’t sure where to go in Hokkaido this time, but I decided on “Yoroushi” because I’d wanted to visit for over 30 years! Just as the Reviews said, everything was wonderful—the Room, the Onsen, and the meals. For the past few years, every time I come to Hokkaido I’ve felt that Japan’s hospitality industry is being supported by an aging workforce and by staff from overseas. I’d give it all 5s, and everyone served us with a smile and worked very hard, which was truly appreciated. That said, personally I think it would have been fine without a welcome greeting or being shown to our Room. I can talk about meals or work-related matters, but being able to have natural conversation is also a priority for me, so it was somewhat disappointing not to have that. This is not meant as criticism of foreign staff. Their Japanese was good and their service was genuinely excellent. Still, speaking honestly as someone visiting an Onsen, I felt a sense of loneliness that’s different from how things used to be.

The food was truly delicious!

The blend of nature and luxury was wonderful. I loved taking my time in the sauna, and the wood-burning stove was truly soothing. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. I’ll definitely be back.

Our dog weighs around 10 kg, so we really appreciated being able to walk him on a leash. The building is spacious, so we were able to relax without running into many other dogs. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The meat and fish were very fresh, with a wide variety of dishes—we were completely satisfied. Every staff member was kind and welcoming. We stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. Because she has allergies and we were visiting for her birthday, we exchanged emails in advance. You responded so kindly and thoughtfully that we were able to arrive with no worries at all. It was raining on the day, but you came out to greet us with an umbrella, carried our heavy luggage to the front desk, and even brought it up to our Room while we were checking in. From the very beginning, we felt reassured and could truly sense your outstanding hospitality. The tea and shaved ice served at check-in were also delicious. The Room was even more wonderful than in the photos. The contrast between the lush green bamboo grove beyond the window and the beautifully shaped white bathtub was breathtaking, and we were able to relax in a refined, calm space. Although it should have been hot outside, once we soaked in the open-air bath we didn’t feel the heat at all—it was incredibly pleasant. Bathing while watching a butterfly resting on leaves right in front of us felt truly extraordinary. Dinner allergy accommodations were perfect. Even with allergen ingredients removed, you ensured each dish still looked just as impressive as others, so my girlfriend could eat with peace of mind. Everything tasted amazing, and I ended up drinking quite a lot. The truffle rice was especially delicious—I had seconds—and I now regret declining when you kindly offered me a third bowl… I later tried to order truffle rice balls via room service at night but service had already ended, so I wished I had eaten more then (laugh). It seemed everyone had been informed about my surprise plan as well; you supported me smoothly throughout so I could prepare within time and carry out the surprise without her noticing. The charlotte cake I requested was also delicious. Thank you so much. To sum it up: choosing Miwa Yugawara for this birthday trip was absolutely the right decision. Every staff member was wonderful and highly service-minded, and I’m truly glad we stayed here. We soothed our fatigue in the open-air bath, felt satisfied with the delicious meals, and your thoughtful care healed our hearts. Thank you again for everything. We look forward to visiting again. Oh—and breakfast was delicious!

I was surprised at how silky-smooth the Onsen water felt. The Maezawa beef shabu-shabu for dinner was also exquisite—so good it truly moved me. There is no elevator, only stairs, but since the entrance is on the second floor and the building has three floors in total, it didn’t bother me. I liked it so much that I made a Reservation again for the following month.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming with warm smiles, making our stay very comfortable. The meals were made with carefully selected ingredients and were truly delicious. The breakfast in particular was outstanding. Both the property and the Room were very clean and well maintained, so we could relax and enjoy our time. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

For trips with our dog, we always choose the Regina group Hotels for their outstanding staff hospitality. This time, we finally made our first visit to this property, which we’d had our eye on for a while. With just 10 Rooms, it’s a compact Facility where you can complete everything—check-in and check-out, an open-air Onsen bath with excellent water quality, and carefully crafted kaiseki cuisine—all in your Room. The morning soak while enjoying views of the Hakone outer rim mountains from our second-floor Room was simply the best.

Before our stay, they kindly helped with various requests such as arranging taxis and pickups, and on the day they also assisted with ticket arrangements and an unexpected pickup during heavy rain—we truly appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. For dinner, we chose the teppanyaki course and enjoyed lively conversation along with delicious locally grown vegetables and meat. The Room also offered more than enough amenities, including coffee and other drinks.

Every Room comes with a private open-air bath, and meals can be enjoyed in your Room as well, so we were able to relax without worrying about anyone around us. What made us happiest most of all was how well the Accommodation is set up for dogs to enjoy! In addition to a private dog run just for our Room, there is an indoor dog run, and outside the Accommodation there are two more—one with wood chips and one with grass—so there are four dog runs in total. We could choose where to play depending on our mood and the weather. The meals were also delicious, making great use of Izu’s fish, meat, and vegetables. There was also a great selection of menu items for dogs, and our pup finished everything in no time. All of the staff were very dog-friendly, and it really showed how much they care about dogs. It became a wonderful memory where we could truly relax together with our dog. Thank you very much.

After the festival at Shima Spain Village, I was able to refresh and recover from the fatigue with delicious food and a wonderful bath, so I could take on day two feeling energized! I’d love to come back again for a relaxing stay.
