Despite a last-minute reservation, we were fortunate to have our room upgraded, and we were deeply touched by this thoughtful gesture upon arrival. With only five rooms, the accommodation offers a luxurious and meticulously maintained environment. Even though it was shortly after the Tohoku earthquake, the area was completely unaffected, providing a serene and enriching experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the onsen. The natural hot spring water is free of any additives or heating adjustments, offering what can only be described as "miraculously perfect temperature" that warms you to your core. The private onsen experience with fresh flowing water is a unique charm of an accommodation of this scale. Meals were also exceptional, featuring creative dishes made with local ingredients—well worth the trip. Young staff members actively share updates through social media, showcasing their passion for revitalizing the onsen area. Although it’s a bit far from Kanto, I look forward to visiting again during bamboo shoot season next time!

I stayed in a single, but it was more like a partitioned space with a curtain at the entrance than a private Room. The pull-out storage was convenient. I had a chance to talk with another guest staying in a single, and it was a nice time. The women-only washroom, toilets, and bath area were clean. Convenience stores and shops are within walking distance, but restaurants may be fully booked or closed on certain days. The Shuttle Service was very helpful. You can freely use the lounge where you can bring your own food. Sometimes there is no staff at reception, but you can contact them by mobile phone when needed. Wi-Fi in the Room building was hard to connect to, so I used it near reception instead. If I visit Rishiri again, I would like to stay here again.

The jinbei loungewear was very comfortable to wear. I even went to the breakfast restaurant wearing it. Breakfast also offered a good variety—Japanese and Western dishes as well as desserts—considering the reasonable Accommodation Fee. There was a Doutor coffee machine in the lobby, which I also enjoyed.

The female staff member’s courteous service was excellent. I was also pleasantly surprised, as I hadn’t known in advance that welcome drinks and breakfast were free. The Room also had a large table, which made my stay comfortable. Thank you very much.

The staff welcomed us so warmly, and even when we were leaving, they took such great care of us that we didn’t want to go home! We decided to add breakfast at the last minute, and it was wonderful—having breakfast in the courtyard was amazing, and everything tasted fantastic. The view is beautiful and the Hotel is very clean, so I think you can truly relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. Also, when we called the taxi company you recommended, we were lucky to get a kind driver who told us about lots of sightseeing spots—it was great! Even when we forgot something, a staff member ran outside to help us, and thanks to them our trip stayed wonderful right until the end. It was so lovely that words can’t really do it justice—so please just try staying here! We’ll definitely come again! Just one last thing: I’d be very happy if the hair dryer had a stronger airflow.

The Room was clean, and it was great that the bathroom and toilet were separate. It was also nice that meals were not buffet-style, so we could dine in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were pleasant as well.

Our whole family stayed here, and it was an outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s warm welcome was wonderful, and our daughters were in great spirits the entire time. Because it’s a registered tangible cultural property, the building has a deep sense of character. Yet with its modern interior, it didn’t feel intimidating at all—we could relax as if we were at home. The beautifully maintained garden was also ours to enjoy since there were no other guests during our stay, and the kids had a great time. I found myself wishing there were more Accommodations like this—Japan’s travel culture would be even richer. While we did feel welcomed by the town as a whole, it was a bit quiet, which was a shame. It’s such a great location that I hope it becomes more lively. We will definitely return again—thank you for everything, and we look forward to staying with you in the future.

After my first stay in April, I became completely captivated by Kito Nasu and decided I absolutely had to visit again within the year. This was my long-awaited second stay! Last time, I stayed for one night, but it wasn’t enough to fully enjoy this wonderful place, so this time I stayed for two nights! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a delightful blend of wood and incense scents that make you want to take a deep breath. The sauna was as amazing as ever!! The layout is well thought out, and the fresh air makes outdoor cooling sessions incredibly refreshing. If you're experienced with lighting wood saunas, it’s easy to get started; even if it’s your first time, there’s a clear manual provided so anyone can do it quickly! The bathroom amenities are thoughtfully stocked with MUJI products. There’s not only a hairdryer but also a hair iron available. While there is just one mirror in the space, it's spacious enough for two people to use comfortably. I absolutely love the Aqua Feel bath that amazed me during my last visit—it makes you want to soak endlessly! (This time I used it five times!) The washing machine and gas dryer are super convenient; they even provide high-quality fabric softener that leaves your laundry warm, fluffy, and wonderfully fragrant after every wash. The restroom plays soothing music when seated and has its own handwashing area—very convenient—and yes, even the restroom smells great! The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances including a large refrigerator and plenty of stylish tableware. Everything here exceeds expectations—it feels like every “wouldn’t it be nice if they had this” has already been anticipated at Kito Nasu. Personally speaking, I don’t think there’s another private accommodation as charming as this one anywhere else. I’ve already started planning my next trip while searching through social media for similar private accommodations like Kito Nasu—but nothing compares so far! So now I'm thinking about visiting again early next year—this time for three nights! It truly feels like a second home where each visit makes you want to stay longer—a very relaxing accommodation. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

It was a dog-friendly Room. The entrance and the Room were close to the parking lot, and it was also near the large public bath; the Facility was great.\nSince it was a weekday, there were no other dogs at the dog run, which felt a bit lonely, but the grounds are spacious so walking around was enjoyable. The meals were a good portion and very tasty. I thought it would be nice if the self-serve drinks in the lobby were free—I wanted coffee. I’d like to stay again if I have another chance.

At first, the exterior made me wonder, “Is this really the place?” but once inside, it was incredibly spacious and wonderful! For two adults, there were more than enough Rooms and futons. I’m not good with insects, so the moths on the balcony were a bit scary, but in the Room we only saw ants and a few tiny bugs. The Room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and the open-air bath had an amazing view. On the first day it was cloudy and rainy so we couldn’t see much, but the next day it cleared up and we could see islands—it was beautiful. They also provided dog pee pads and diapers, so we were very satisfied with this Accommodation! On our way home we visited Izu Animal Kingdom as well and had a great time. Our dog seemed happy too—thank you very much!

We visited as a group of six: a family of four with two brothers (an older brother in kindergarten and a younger brother who will soon turn 2), plus grandpa and grandma. Our younger child is at an age where he can’t sit still, so even eating out is usually a bit challenging. That’s why we chose this Accommodation, where we could relax without worrying about others. It turned out to be truly wonderful. At a regular park you have to constantly worry about kids running off, but here the area is enclosed, which was such a relief! Some of the play equipment was still a bit advanced for our 1-year-old, but there was also a swing and plenty of outdoor toys, so I think he had an amazing time. They also had various toys prepared indoors, so we didn’t have any “I don’t want to go inside!!” tantrums either. We were grateful they even provided bath bombs! Our kids were thrilled with Thomas toys, drawing on the windows, and the night lights too. Our plan was to arrive around noon to play outside and then start BBQ when check-in time came—but around noon it was still drizzling. After seeing the yard, the kids went straight into “we want to play anyway” mode and played while getting a little wet. When the rain got heavier partway through, we headed to a nearby supermarket for a while. By the way, bringing sneakers, sandals, and rain boots for this trip turned out to be the right choice! On our stay date it stopped raining during BBQ time so it worked out fine, but we did find ourselves wishing there were more cover extending over where the tables are set up. Of course there’s some effort involved in preparing most things ourselves, but having energetic kids and not needing to worry about other guests’ eyes made it genuinely stress-free. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable trip with children we’ve ever had!

I stayed here with the No Meals Included plan for a mountain climb. The Accommodation was spotless throughout, and both the Room and the bath were very comfortable. Above all, I truly appreciated the hostess’s warm hospitality, which helped me relax and enjoy my stay. Thanks to that, I was able to rest well before my climb. I would love to stay again if I have a chance to visit the area. Thank you very much.

I stayed for three nights for a mountain-climbing trip. The staff’s hospitality, the cleanliness of the Accommodation, and the quality and taste of the meals all exceeded my expectations. Everyone on the staff was especially pleasant, and it really reminded me that what makes an Accommodation great is its people. I would love to stay again next time. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a cottage, and the Room was comfortable with the warmth of wood and clean bedding. The meals exceeded our expectations in both quality and quantity, and we enjoyed drinks as well, making it a wonderful time—we were very satisfied. We would love to stay again.

It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as the Reviews said! Because it’s located up in the mountains, the air is crisp and clear, and the stars in the night sky are simply beautiful. Even though it was August, the nighttime temperature was around 23°C and pleasantly cool—an ideal summer retreat. Bringing protection against insect bites is recommended. The building itself is old, but the Room is spacious, and everything—including the bath—was impeccably clean, not even a single hair out of place. Every dish was delicious, with just the right portion sizes, and we were extremely satisfied. It had a warm, homey atmosphere that felt like being back at my parents’ house, and meeting an adorable cat at night was so soothing. I’d love to stay again!

We stayed here for a family ski trip. It seems to be a hotel condominium type of accommodation. If it suits your purpose, it’s an excellent choice. However, if you are looking for full services (such as staff guiding you to your room or room service), this might not be the right option for you. Interaction with hotel staff is mostly limited to check-in and check-out. The staff were polite and kind, which even made our child say, "He was such a nice man." The accommodation is almost like a 2DK (1LDK) apartment with a regular kitchen included. There’s no gas stove but an IH cooktop instead. As mentioned in the hotel's guide, basic tableware and cooking utensils are provided, so you can prepare most meals if you bring your own ingredients. However, please note that there are no seasonings available, so make sure to purchase them along with other groceries if needed. For those who find cooking troublesome, there is also an oven microwave available for heating frozen foods. One downside is that there are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby; you'll need to drive about 20-30 minutes by car to get groceries. That said, this could also add some charm to the travel experience for those who enjoy such adventures. Overall, my family had a very positive impression of our stay here and would love to use this place again when we visit the area in the future!

We used this accommodation for the first time during our annual three-generation trip and created wonderful memories in a fantastic room! Reason for choosing this room: - The photos of the room and location on IKYU.com were very beautiful. - The reviews had high ratings. Positive points: - Access to various modern appliances. - Spacious living room and bedrooms. - Air conditioning was already on at check-in. - Clean rooms. - Abundant amenities, including beauty face masks. - Three toilets, one on each floor. - Scenic ocean view. Areas for improvement: - The shower operation and bathtub buttons were difficult to understand; having instructions or guides would be helpful, especially for elderly guests or children unfamiliar with the equipment. - The refrigerator door was hard to open, and it didn’t cool well; while other appliances were modern, the refrigerator seemed like a basic model suitable for two-person households. It couldn’t chill beer properly, so we had to use the freezer. - When using the drying mode of the washer-dryer, a maintenance sign appeared, preventing it from drying clothes properly; as we left it running overnight in drying mode while sleeping, we found wet laundry in the morning which was disappointing. Maintenance seems necessary as cleaning access is not possible for guests. Overall impression: The spacious living area allowed all nine of us to dine together at a large table comfortably! With excellent facilities overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. There was also a guest notebook where everyone shared their delightful experiences! We look forward to staying here again!

The natural Biwamasu trout, proof of its orange color from feasting on plenty of shrimp! It's incredibly delicious!! Served as sashimi, grilled, fried, and more in generous portions. Living in the Kanto region makes it hard to visit often, but next time I’d love to try the eel hot pot (Jun-Jun). Thank you so much to everyone at the accommodation for your hospitality.
