In the wonderful space created by the owners, we were able to spend a truly relaxing and restorative time. Enjoying their thoughtfully prepared dishes—down to the seasonings—paired with local sake and served in locally made tableware was a real luxury... The journey there, transferring between local trains and buses, also became a memorable part of our trip. We would love to visit again someday in a different season. Thank you very much for such a lovely time.

From the moment we were picked up, the hospitality had already begun. We were completely satisfied with everything—from the guidance along the way to the warm welcome after arrival. Of course, we also enjoyed delicious meals. In the morning, we woke up to a ship’s whistle. The ever-changing view of the tides was truly soothing. We would love to visit again in another season.

I stay here repeatedly because I often have errands nearby, and once again I was very satisfied with my stay since I already know how convenient everything is. It’s a 2–3 minute walk to the streetcar stop (similar to a train station), and there is also shared-bike parking in front of the Hotel entrance, though the number of spaces is limited. I think this Accommodation is truly convenient for anyone staying long-term in Hiroshima City. All Rooms are twin Rooms with double beds, and the bathrooms are very spacious, so even larger guests should be able to relax comfortably. Depending on the Room, there may be a dedicated rack for hanging a road bike and an additional closet Room for storing large luggage. If I had to mention one thing: although there are vending machines, there is no complimentary water in the Room. Since it’s about a 5-minute walk to a convenience store or the nearest supermarket, it’s better to buy drinks in advance before checking in.

We planned a three-night trip to Nara. The first two nights were at a Hotel near Nara Station, so for the final night we chose this place a little farther out—especially because it offered the rare experience of staying in a soy sauce brewery. It far exceeded our expectations. Right after arriving, we joined the soy sauce pressing experience and were immediately captivated by the owner’s talk. I was truly impressed by the story of how he revived soy sauce making from scratch after his grandfather had been forced to stop after the war. Dinner dishes made with this deeply meaningful soy sauce highlighted mostly home-grown vegetables and let each ingredient shine—everything was exceptional. Even dessert (I think it was crème brûlée?) used soy sauce, and it was genuinely delicious. The Hatsuse Room was also a comfortable, calming space where we could rest well. Not having a TV was actually great. The wooden bath was wonderful too. Breakfast—rice with raw egg, an egg with a white yolk (?), and fresh fried tofu with soy sauce—was simple but the best kind of feast. The staff kindly answered even my husband’s rather unreasonable (laughing) questions, and I admired their sincere hospitality. Visiting in midsummer was lovely, but next time I’d like to return to this Accommodation in another season.

We stayed here with a family of five and one dog. Our check-in was a little late, but thank you for accommodating us. We were also very satisfied with the staff member’s courteous explanation at check-in. As for the meals, our whole family worked together and prepared everything smoothly, and we enjoyed it very much. That night, we ended up chatting late into the night as a family and may have had a bit too much to drink. Not only the building itself, but also the dining area, bedrooms, bath, sauna, dog run—everything exceeded our expectations and became a wonderful memory. Next time, we’d like to stay for two nights and three days and relax at a slower pace. Thank you again for everything.

It was a wonderful villa. Mount Fuji was right in front of us, and we could see it clearly thanks to the great weather! The meals were all delicious, and we were very satisfied! We brought our dog along, and they had so much fun playing around. We would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

It was a wonderful Accommodation with thoughtful attention to detail. You can see Mount Rishiri from the Onsen and the dining area, and the view is magnificent. Beautiful flowers were arranged throughout the building, and we could feel the careful hospitality in every corner. The meals were delicious, and we are glad we stayed at Hanarebun. The Room size, facilities and amenities, cleanliness, and the breathtaking ocean view are all flawless. I think it offers far better value for money than staying at a nearby Resort Hotel. However, you may be a bit confused if you arrive expecting a typical Hotel. There is no front desk or management office; instead, it’s an Airbnb-style setup where you enter the PIN sent to you after completing pre-registration. In my case, the registration email ended up in my spam folder, so I didn’t know what to do on site and only figured it out after calling the emergency contact number. I tried to upload the required ID documents for verification, but the connection was poor and it was difficult; in the end, I had to get the PIN by phone in quite a rush. If you complete pre-registration in advance, check-in should be smooth, and from the second stay onward there likely won’t be any issues—but it would be helpful if IKYU clearly noted these differences from a standard Hotel in the Facility description as well. Please also note that there is no elevator. In addition, the entrance floor is made of stepping stones with water around them. It may look stylish, but if you drop your phone or anything similar it’s game over, and it’s inconvenient when carrying heavy luggage—so there seems to be room for improvement.

Last time, we arrived late and had No Meals Included. It was such a great Accommodation that we were disappointed, so this time we added a BBQ dinner and checked in early for a do-over. Even though it was midsummer, it was cooler from the evening and we could enjoy the BBQ, and the local ingredients provided were unbelievably delicious. There was plenty of food, and we even had a BBQ breakfast with what was left over! We were told rice wasn’t included, so we bought some at Roadside Station Onan no Sato and brought it with us. Maybe because of the BBQ smoke, even though it’s in the mountains, there seemed to be fewer bugs for some reason. As always, the inside was clean, easy to spend time in, and our whole family enjoyed a comfortable stay! Considering the price as well, this is the best Accommodation. Thank you to the owner. We’ll come again someday!

We stayed in the West Wing with my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and our family—6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs. Everyone was thrilled, and it became a wonderful travel memory. As we were celebrating a special occasion, we asked for balloon decorations and to purchase fireworks. For meals, we hired a private chef. Inamuragasaki holds many memories for us. With the ocean right in front of us—and no power lines visible from inside—it was truly a special location. Since the kids are still small, they were overjoyed to use the rooftop jacuzzi like a pool instead of going into the sea. The adults could watch them safely and relax while enjoying the ocean view in complete comfort. The food was also excellent—hiring a private chef was absolutely the right choice. We also got to try out karaoke that you’re considering introducing as a service. Our child who loves singing was delighted and held onto the microphone nonstop. At night we enjoyed fireworks and made so many great memories with the kids. Everything was prepared in such a comfortable setting—easy for adults and fun for children. Our surfer family members even went into the ocean twice. It truly was an amazing place. We highly recommend it for family trips. We will definitely be back again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here alone. The Room was comfortable, with a bath, toilet, and sofa, and the fluffy futon bedding was very cozy. The refrigerator was also a two-door model. As for the meals, a variety of side dishes were beautifully arranged on lovely plates, and I could tell how much care went into the cooking. Everything was delicious. Even the chopsticks were placed in an elegantly wrapped holder, which showed thoughtful attention to detail. Breakfast was colorful and wonderful. Coffee was also served. The proprietress did an excellent job of keeping an eye on guests at all times. I had a very enjoyable time—thank you very much. I hope to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Last summer, after renting a nearby vacation home and visiting Morito Beach, we discovered SCAPES THE SUITE. We made a Reservation because we were drawn to the easy beach access and the property’s atmosphere, and we had been looking forward to our stay. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy the sea with our family, including our two young daughters. We used the pick-up and drop-off service from Zushi Station, and being greeted by a classic Cedric taxi instantly set a resort mood. We arrived a little early and planned to wait in the lobby, but perhaps because of my IKYU Diamond membership, we were shown to our Room right away. It was the twin “Mandarin Orange.” It felt more spacious than expected, with the Shonan sea right in front of us and Enoshima clearly visible at all times. Due to the weather we only caught a faint glimpse of Mt. Fuji for a moment, but having the ocean always in view was truly soothing. After the concierge kindly showed us around the Room, they helped arrange our one-hour private jacuzzi time (per Room) as well as breakfast time. We were worried about an approaching typhoon, but fortunately it took a course that didn’t affect us much—so we even enjoyed occasional sunshine. Our daughters’ family was able to swim several times, while we grandparents stayed in the Room caring for our 7-month-old grandchild. It was wonderfully relaxing. With children aged three and zero with us, we ate out for dinner; however, the Hotel restaurant also looked very appealing. This time we only had breakfast and lunch here, but next time we would love to try dinner as well. No matter where you look from within this property—the balcony or even from the jacuzzi—the view of the sea never gets old. That scenery itself felt like your greatest hospitality. We also strongly felt how much everyone working there loves Hayama—and loves this Hotel. The pride and care of both the concierge team and those serving at breakfast/the restaurant really came through. We were also delighted by your gift: Genbei’s famous beach sandals. You coordinated sizes and colors for each family member perfectly—our daughters’ family was thrilled. Finally, after receiving an outstanding carrot dressing as well, we headed home feeling refreshed. Not only in summer but in any season, SCAPES is a place where you can truly relax—and we would love to return again. Thank you very much to everyone at the Hotel.

It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as rumored. The Onsen on the first floor was especially impressive. The service was very attentive, and since we arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled meal time, they kindly allowed us to delay it. When making the Reservation, I had ordered a birthday cake, and they also prepared a birthday melody played on a music box, a small flower basket, and even celebratory bite-sized sekihan (red bean rice) and sweets—it truly moved me.

I’m a repeat guest who visits whenever the dining menu changes, and no matter how many times I stay, this Hotel always feels special—comfortable, never boring, and a perfect escape from everyday life. This time, just before the menu changed, I had the FIJI course at OYAMA. Every dish was outstanding: six beautifully crafted courses made with carefully selected ingredients and skillful techniques, plus dessert—all delicious. As always, the staff’s timing and attentive yet natural service made the meal truly enjoyable.

It was a wonderfully attentive Accommodation. The food was delicious—above all, the rice was outstanding. The grilled fish was cooked perfectly, and the sashimi was fresh and very tasty. I was also very happy with the late-night rice ball and message. Breakfast had a great variety and was exciting as well. Personally, I especially appreciated having rice porridge. It was raining when we left, but thank you for carrying our luggage to the car. You also lent us an umbrella, so we were able to get to the car without getting wet. I forgot something behind, but I can only be grateful for your kind and careful assistance. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you for letting us relax and enjoy our time there.

We stayed as a family of three. We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our stay—the atmosphere of the Facility and the attentive service from the staff. The French course featuring duck, which we had requested in advance, was carefully prepared dish by dish. Not only was it delicious, but the presentation and ingredient pairings were outstanding—truly showcasing the chef’s talent. Recently, we often choose “Sakagura,” and in any case it is wonderfully quiet. The entire building has a calm presence, allowing us to relax and enjoy unhurried time away from everyday life. As always, all staff members were kind and courteous. Their thoughtful attention to detail could be felt throughout our stay, and we were comfortable from start to finish. Once again, we felt this is a truly wonderful Accommodation where the cuisine, Facility, and service are all in perfect harmony. Thank you very much.

My spouse and I had some time off, so we made a spontaneous Reservation and stayed here. We arrived by car, and staff were waiting in front of the Hotel to guide us, so parking was smooth. They also carried our bags, and I was surprised by how courteous they were. The front desk staff were also polite and left a great impression. Because of that, we ended up booking a private Onsen. The staff on duty from evening through morning were very kind as well. They even showed us a rare video of a Japanese serow and shared lots of interesting stories about it, which made us very happy. The Onsen was extremely relaxing, and the breakfast staff were friendly too. We came to heal our bodies, but our hearts felt refreshed as well. We also had great weather at Gozaisho. Next time, I’d like to bring my mother too. Overall, it was such a pleasant Hotel and incredibly soothing. Thank you very much.

I was impressed by every aspect of this stay. First, the food was truly outstanding. Not only were the ingredients excellent, but the menu featured an abundance of seasonal items that are hard to come by in everyday life—such as longtooth grouper (kue), Shizuoka-brand eel “Deshiko,” pike conger (hamo), kuruma prawns, and Kamo eggplant—and I was moved by each dish. There wasn’t a single miss: the dashi flavor came through beautifully, and the balance of ingredients and seasoning in every course was exquisite. The overall satisfaction was so high that it honestly felt surprising to be able to stay at this price while being served cuisine of such a high level. The Onsen was also wonderful. The bath area is new and kept very clean, so it was comfortable to use. In particular, Umenoya’s unique natural spring water at around 30°C was perfect for this hot season. Alternating it with the indoor bath at around 40°C left me feeling refreshed after bathing and made for a truly relaxing time. I highly recommend trying it this way. Above all, what left the strongest impression was the hospitality of the staff. When I accidentally dropped my chopsticks during dinner, one staff member immediately noticed and picked them up, and another staff member who saw this brought me a fresh pair. Their seamless teamwork showed how well they communicate on a daily basis, which really moved me. The proprietress has such a warm presence—always smiling and speaking to guests in a friendly way. Despite her young age, her attentiveness to guests and her awareness of everything throughout the Ryokan are exceptional; I don’t often encounter someone capable of providing hospitality at this level. It was an Accommodation that left me completely satisfied with its cuisine, Onsen, and service. I would love to return in another season to enjoy more delicious food and the Onsen again.

I stayed here last year and was very satisfied, so I chose this Hotel again this year. Above all, the highlight is the wide variety of food. Everything was delicious, and I ended up going back for seconds many times. The pork shabu-shabu served in a small hot pot was especially outstanding, and I loved that you can shabu-shabu not only pork but also seafood. With several broth options to choose from, I could enjoy it exactly the way I like. In addition, there were sushi and sashimi, Tokushima ramen, freshly fried tempura, and a great selection of other dishes such as crispy lotus root and sweet potato chips—so much variety that I enjoyed every bite without getting bored until the very end. At the large public bath, bath towels and face towels were provided in the lobby area, so it was very comfortable to be able to use fresh towels each time. There was also complimentary ice cream after bathing, which felt like a thoughtful touch. The night view from my Room was also wonderful—the sparkling city lights were truly beautiful and made for an unforgettable moment. I was completely satisfied with everything—food, baths, service, and views—and it’s a fantastic Hotel that makes me want to come back again.

It was a wonderful Ryokan. I loved the Onsen water quality, and I was able to relax completely in the open-air bath on the rooftop. The meals were also very delicious. You could really feel the chef’s care in each carefully prepared dish; I hope the rice served will be of a standard that matches it. I couldn’t say it was at its best, so I think it could be improved further by adjusting how it’s kept warm, for example. It was an excellent Accommodation.
