As the property is relatively new, the building, Facility, and amenities were all new and spotless. The appliances were thoughtfully selected too—I liked them so much I wanted to use them at home, and I even bought some after returning. Since it is set a little back from the road, we were able to spend our time in peace and quiet. We also encountered wild rabbits and deer, which made it feel like a true getaway. Despite the typhoon’s impact, we still enjoyed a barbecue! Our dog seemed to have a great time as well. We would love to stay again.

I chose this Accommodation for my boyfriend’s birthday trip. It was my first stay here, and it far exceeded my expectations. Above all, the staff’s service was truly outstanding, and I was moved by every thoughtful gesture. The property has the charming presence of a grand traditional Japanese house, and the garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed a luxurious time dining at a relaxed pace while looking out over the garden. The basashi (horse sashimi) in particular was the best I’ve ever had—absolutely unforgettable. The Room was spacious and spotless, very comfortable, and the view from the window was wonderful. The building also has delightful surprises and playful touches that even first-time guests can enjoy, which kept me excited throughout our stay. They also offer an excellent selection of sake, so I especially recommend this Accommodation to sake lovers. It was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed—completely satisfying in every way. I will definitely return.

Both the meals and the bath were excellent.

I stayed with my parents and husband—four adults in total. There was a complimentary alcohol service available until 10:00 p.m. (there was even beer in the Room refrigerator!), and the all-inclusive drinks with meals also offered a great selection of alcohol. We could even enjoy sparkling wine at breakfast—wonderful for my father and me, as we both love drinks. Every summer, we stay one night at an Accommodation in Fukushima to coincide with my mother’s visit home, and my father really loved this place, saying, “Let’s stay here again next time—let’s make it our regular.” From the bath to the lobby to the Room, every space had beautiful interiors and a wonderful sense of design. The staff were also warm yet polished in their hospitality. It was our first trip where I treated my parents to a stay, so it became a truly memorable experience for us. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay, and just as everyone says, it was a truly wonderful Accommodation. The food was delicious, the Onsen water was silky-smooth, the staff were great, everything in the fridge was free, and the price was reasonable. The view was beautiful and very relaxing. Also, since I love drinks, I was thrilled by the wide selection of rice shochu... Thank you very much! I’ll definitely visit again.

I stayed in a newly renovated Room, and it was wonderful. The in-room perks were excellent. In particular, the all-you-can-eat gelato was an incredibly generous service—perfect after the Onsen—and I enjoyed trying many different flavors. Everything was delicious. The pre-dinner aperitif can be chosen from the menu, and the lounge coffee machine is truly high-quality, so I used it many times. Both the quality and quantity of the meals were very satisfying, and what impressed me most was the staff. There were many young team members, but everyone’s hospitality was outstanding. Some staff members spent a long time chatting with elderly guests because they were approached for conversation, yet they responded without showing any displeasure at all—I was genuinely impressed. You can also enjoy two different types of Onsen water, and I think this Accommodation offers excellent value for money. I will definitely return again. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of four nights. This Accommodation is extremely pet-friendly. We visited with both a dog and a cat, and they both seemed relaxed and happy. There are plenty of pet amenities, plus a dog run and more. We could stay with complete peace of mind, and all the staff clearly love animals, which made our time here truly special. The Japanese staff were wonderful as expected, and the international staff were just as polite—so courteous you’d think they were Japanese—always with warm smiles. It made us feel that the training and working environment here must be excellent. The staff deserve well over five stars. Meals are à la carte, so you can choose whatever you like each day in any amount you want. That was especially appreciated for a Multiple Night Stay, and everything was consistently above average in taste. They offer a great balance of Japanese and Western options, so we never got bored. Everything was delicious every day. Alcohol—including drinks at the evening bar—and beverages in the Room refrigerator are all inclusive, which is reassuring for those who drink. Also included was 30 minutes of spa treatment per day; I even received a massage, which was genuinely healing. The Room size was neither too large nor too small—perfect for two people—and the layout was practical and easy to use. The hot spring water left our skin smooth and glossy; it was excellent. Both the indoor bath and open-air bath are free-flowing from the source, and we could adjust both volume and temperature using only natural hot spring water. A true luxury. These days many Hotels and Ryokan allow smoking only in designated areas, so being able to smoke on our private terrace attached to the Room is something smokers will really appreciate—especially when you want to enjoy a drink on the terrace while having a smoke. Because the terrace is surrounded by high walls, our cat could also go out for walks safely. Cats tend to run off easily, so it’s rare to let them stroll freely like that; this was another great point. Our cat enjoyed it very much. It was our first time visiting Kikuchi City. There are many wonderful places nearby such as Kikuchi Gorge, and Aso is less than an hour away as well, making sightseeing very convenient. Since there is a university stable near this Accommodation, there may occasionally be a slight animal smell. However, that isn’t an issue caused by this Accommodation itself—and given that this is an Accommodation people choose specifically because they love animals enough to travel with pets—I think it’s simply something not worth worrying about (and it didn’t bother me). This is a fantastic Accommodation where you can truly relax with your pets. Thank you very much.

From the moment we arrived until we left, the hospitality was truly wonderful and deeply impressed us. The proprietress quickly remembered my daughter’s name and even came to greet us at dinner, and the staff who served our meal were also very warm and smiling. We enjoyed a delicious meal as well. We were able to relax and fully enjoy the Onsen. I was happy that we could take a photo with the proprietress when we checked out. We would love to visit again, and we appreciate your continued kindness.

We stay here every year, and since the rebranding and reopening, both the cuisine and the service have been taken to an even higher level—making for a truly satisfying stay. I was genuinely impressed by the chef’s careful selection of ingredients and the time and effort put into each dish. Even breakfast featured thoughtfully prepared items, and our food-loving family was more than satisfied. Being able to see the chef at the end of the meal and exchange a few words made dining even more special. The course itself reflected the chef’s warm personality, which makes us look forward to our next visit. We would love to return in a different season. The private family bath was spacious and even had a waterfall feature, with the water at just the right temperature, so we could soak and relax. The atmosphere of the large public bath was also wonderful. The meals featured local ingredients, the portions were just right, and we were very satisfied! If you have mobility issues, going up and down to the first floor may be difficult, but it was a quiet place to spend time. We’d love to visit again after a hike in the mountains.

We stayed to celebrate a birthday anniversary. The hot spring water was excellent, and the amenities were well stocked. In the bathroom refrigerator, there were small sherbet treats (for heatstroke prevention?), along with water and tea. At dinner, there was a surprise that made us very happy, and we were able to spend this special time in a meaningful way. Thank you very much.

This stylish A-frame vacation home is in a very quiet location. It’s far more spacious than staying in a Hotel Room, and even our family of five could truly relax without feeling cramped at all. Thanks to the baby amenities you provided, our stay was genuinely comfortable and very helpful. We sincerely appreciate your thoughtful attention to detail. The Onsen is fed directly from the source, so it may feel hot at first, but you can quickly adjust it by adding water and enjoy an exceptional soak.

We stayed with my parents as a family. We traveled with a school-aged child and an infant, and the in-Room bath made our stay very comfortable. We truly appreciate your thoughtful consideration for our children during meals. The garden view and the river view from the open-air bath were so relaxing. My parents were very happy, and it gave us a wonderful chance to show our appreciation. Thank you very much.

I don’t travel very often, so this may not be the best reference, but among the Hotels I’ve stayed at across various prefectures, this was the best. I was surprised that welcome drinks and alcohol were available to enjoy freely! If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that the sink was small, and sometimes water splashed onto the floor when washing my face. All of the front desk staff were polite and kind, and my whole family praised them highly. I’d love to stay here again if I have the chance.

A well-balanced breakfast gave me the energy to head to work, and the large bath helped me unwind after a long day. Despite the clean Room and convenient location, the price is reasonable. There are no excessive amenities, but all necessary services are well provided, making my business trip comfortable. They also handled taxi arrangements with great care, and I felt it was a Hotel where I could stay with peace of mind. I was also satisfied with the user-friendly in-Room features such as a TV that shows how crowded the dining area and large public bath are, as well as an air purifier.

We stayed for one night during extreme heat. The Hotel was very clean, we were extremely satisfied with the Room amenities, and the staff’s service was flawless—overall a truly satisfying stay. There don’t seem to be many places nearby to explore on foot, but the Hotel itself has a pool for dogs and a dog run (a bit small), so it seems like there’s plenty to enjoy in summer. The meals were delicious, and service was quick—we never had to wait after ordering drinks. We even had seconds of rice! If I had to mention one thing, travel might be faster if expressways or toll roads extended further… but that’s separate from evaluating the Hotel. We’d like to stay again.

We were thoroughly satisfied with the many delicious, beautifully presented dishes that captured the transition from summer to autumn. We enjoyed them in a private dining Room with a waterfall right in front of us. We stayed in a detached suite called Suirei, where a small stream runs through the Room. From the spacious open-air bath, there is another smaller open-air bath just down a few steps; each has a different temperature, so you can soak for as long as you like. The garden was also expansive, and we were able to fully enjoy summer and feel refreshed. Thank you very much for celebrating our 60th birthday with us. I hope to visit again even when I’m a grandmother.

I was satisfied with the cleanliness, service, and Facilities. I felt it offered excellent value for money. It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

Although I often stay in Kirishima Onsen, this was my first time in Hitoyoshi Onsen, so I chose a relatively new Accommodation. It turned out to be the perfect choice, and on the way home my companion and I kept saying, “We’re glad we picked this place.” First of all, the Facility itself is new and very well cleaned, so check-in felt comfortable and pleasant. Next, the baths: both the indoor bath and open-air bath are stone-built with deep tubs; the water was pleasantly hot and gentle on the skin—truly a “beauty bath” quality—and I was very satisfied. Meals were served for both breakfast and dinner using local ingredients in thoughtful detail; everything was delicious in just the right portions. When visiting Kumamoto I had been hoping for basashi (horse sashimi), but it wasn’t included in this Plan; it was available to order separately, so I enjoyed it that way. What helped us most was assistance with making Reservations for lunch the next day and for activity facilities, as well as answering detailed questions. They kindly accommodated our requests—such as “I want to eat seasonal salt-grilled ayu” and “I’d like to try pottery on a wheel”—all with a smile. Thank you also for seeing us off even in light rain without opening an umbrella. The salt-grilled ayu at the restaurant you recommended was excellent, and we each made pottery pieces (a plate, a bowl, and a beer glass). After firing them in the kiln, they will be glazed in our requested colors that same day and then shipped to our home once finished—we’re looking forward to receiving them. I would love to visit again; however, there is one disappointing point: there is only one Room type available for stays of two or more people, so I would appreciate more options.
