Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. We were satisfied with everything—the service, the Room, the bath, and the meals. The meals were so delicious that my mother, who usually has no appetite at all, finished everything. We truly hope to visit again. Thank you very much.

With its rich history and tradition, along with the pleasant hospitality of the young staff, we were able to spend a truly comfortable time. I have heard that maintaining a historic building involves many challenges, but I sincerely hope it will be preserved just as it is for years to come. A clean Room, delicious meals, and a wonderful garden We would love to visit again.

Since dinner isn’t included, there is a shuttle bus to and from the Kanazawa Station area, which makes it easy to go out to eat. Even though it’s one Room, the bath and toilet are in the middle, so it feels like the space is divided, which I liked. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options; the Kanazawa curry is delicious, and there are plenty of side dishes too—it's a luxurious breakfast that I really enjoyed. As soon as you enter the Hotel entrance, it smells wonderful, which I loved. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Kanazawa.

I chose this Accommodation for my boyfriend’s birthday trip. It was my first stay here, and it far exceeded my expectations. Above all, the staff’s service was truly outstanding, and I was moved by every thoughtful gesture. The property has the charming presence of a grand traditional Japanese house, and the garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed a luxurious time dining at a relaxed pace while looking out over the garden. The basashi (horse sashimi) in particular was the best I’ve ever had—absolutely unforgettable. The Room was spacious and spotless, very comfortable, and the view from the window was wonderful. The building also has delightful surprises and playful touches that even first-time guests can enjoy, which kept me excited throughout our stay. They also offer an excellent selection of sake, so I especially recommend this Accommodation to sake lovers. It was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed—completely satisfying in every way. I will definitely return.

It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as rumored. The Onsen on the first floor was especially impressive. The service was very attentive, and since we arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled meal time, they kindly allowed us to delay it. When making the Reservation, I had ordered a birthday cake, and they also prepared a birthday melody played on a music box, a small flower basket, and even celebratory bite-sized sekihan (red bean rice) and sweets—it truly moved me.

Last year, I stayed at Tatsumitei for the first time and was very satisfied. I had also been curious about the annex, so this year I stayed there. As before, both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining room, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious cuisine. The Room had high ceilings and felt spacious and relaxing; from the window we could admire the greenery of the trees and views of the Saigawa River, while enjoying the sound of the flowing water as time passed peacefully. In the Japanese-style room, there was a raised floor chair provided, which made it comfortable to spend time there. The open-air bath could be used without worrying about time, allowing us to unwind completely. The casually arranged flowers throughout the building were soothing, and we also enjoyed various crafts and carefully selected lighting fixtures. Thank you to all of the staff for your courteous service. I would definitely like to stay again next time.

This was a wonderful guest Room worthy of the “Special Suite Annex.” In particular, the Japanese-style Room facing Lake Shinji was a corner Room with a small Japanese garden, and we were able to relax while sitting on the veranda. It was unfortunate that we couldn’t go out onto the terrace due to the rain, but we were able to take our time soaking in the Onsen in the in-Room scenic-view bath while looking out over Lake Shinji. Each dish was excellent, and the sea bream rice at breakfast was outstanding.

This was my first stay. (Room name: Akebono-an) It was extremely comfortable, and I was able to relax and take my time. All of the staff were very kind, and it left a strong impression on me how they always greeted me with a smile. In particular, the staff member in charge of our Room supported us thoughtfully in every way—from day-to-day needs to sightseeing advice and suggestions—and I truly appreciated it. They also kindly accommodated a change to the Shuttle Service pickup/drop-off location due to our circumstances, and they handled food allergies properly as well, so we were able to stay with peace of mind. The Room had a modern, sophisticated design and was wonderful. Everything was thoroughly cleaned down to the smallest details, and it felt very fresh and spotless. I was also happy that it even had a mist sauna. Above all, the mountain views from the Room were spectacular, and we could spend time leisurely while enjoying the open scenery. Also, because meals were served in-room, we could relax in a quiet environment without worrying about surrounding noise—this was another highlight. The amenities (such as Touvert lotion) were high quality as well, and you could feel the attention to detail throughout. On the other hand, there were a few points that I felt could make it even more comfortable. If a hair iron were provided, it would be more convenient for women. Also, for indoor slippers within the building: rather than using them only up to the shoe cabinet partway down the corridor, I felt it would be clearer if guests could wear them all the way to each Room entrance—so you don’t have to walk barefoot or risk slippers being mixed up. Regarding the Room design: I thought removing closet doors and making it open would not only improve usability but also better match the current modern and refined atmosphere. The lighting around the washbasin area was slightly dim, which felt somewhat inconvenient when getting ready. I moved a tabletop mirror into the dining area to do my makeup; if that area could be made brighter around the sink counter, it would be easier to use. Also regarding shower fixtures: having an additional holder positioned at a height suitable for showering while standing would be even more convenient. I’ve listed several requests above; however overall this was an extremely satisfying stay. Thanks to everyone’s warm hospitality among your staff members at this Accommodation , we were able to spend our time comfortably and at ease. We would love to visit again.

My spouse and I stayed for one night. It would have been even better if our Room had a sofa, but the bath was indoors and an Onsen, already filled for us. The staff member who guided us also provided a thorough and helpful explanation. The meals were wonderful both dinner and breakfast, and we truly felt pampered. Since we dined in a private room, we couldn’t eat while looking out at the sea, which was the only disappointment. We have stayed at many Hotels, but this had the best food of all. We happened to visit Shimonoseki this time and found this Hotel by chance, but next time we will travel specifically to stay here.

Our family of four stayed for two nights. The Room, service, and staff hospitality were all outstanding. The location was convenient for getting anywhere, and while we had checked the Room on the website beforehand, it was even nicer than we imagined. It was spacious enough for four of us to stay comfortably. The staff were kind, and above all, the meals were excellent. We had breakfast twice and dinner once; each dish used plenty of local ingredients and was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We would love to stay here again when we visit Kanazawa.

We arrived in Hikone before check-in time, but we were happy that you came to pick us up at Hikone Station. In front of the large public bath, you had placed nicely chilled tea, which was a great help since I was traveling with my grandchild who drinks tea often. This is a calm, comfortable Accommodation where you can feel the spirit of hospitality everywhere. You prepared private dining rooms for both dinner and breakfast, so we could relax and enjoy the delicious meals with peace of mind even with our preschool-aged grandchild. When my grandchild became sleepy during our stay, you even carried the futon for us—thank you very much for your kindness. As this is a cuisine-focused Ryokan, it met our expectations perfectly, and we were truly impressed by the head chef’s wonderful dishes. Thank you very much.

This Accommodation was the final stop on our 3-night, 4-day summer trip through Okayama, Tottori, and Shimane, and it was truly a wonderful place to end our journey. Check-in was very courteous and smooth, and I was surprised—in a good way—that an attendant escorted us to our Room while explaining the building along the way, which is rare these days. They also carefully explained everything in the Room, and I was impressed by the traditional level of hospitality. The Room had great taste, and the open-air bath in the Room was free-flowing Onsen water. It was a bit hot, but adding some water quickly made it comfortable enough to enter, so we enjoyed it many times during our stay. With Rooms that have an open-air Onsen bath, insects often get into either the bath or the Room, but for some reason we had no such issues here and were comfortable throughout. Dinner was served in a private room; the attendant’s explanations were thorough, and everything tasted excellent. The final dish seemed especially delicious—my husband and son even asked for seconds. Breakfast was buffet-style. We went at a later time close to last order, but we were not rushed at all and could enjoy our meal comfortably until the end. We chose late check-out as well. Although there were hardly any other guests around at that time (at other Hotels with late check-out there are usually few staff members left and no send-off), they continued to assist us until departure—taking photos for us and seeing us off properly—which felt like outstanding service. In addition, there were foot reflexology massages as well as foot baths, hand baths, and even face baths. Our Plan also included lounge access—all of which we enjoyed. It is rare to find such a large Ryokan (Hotel) with excellent Facility offerings, ample staffing levels, great service, plus wonderful meals and Onsen. It really shows their dedication. We had a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much.

Due to a change of plans, I made a Reservation the day before. It was a rainy day and I arrived early, but I was able to choose a book from the many available and enjoy reading at a relaxed pace with a cup of coffee in hand. The spacious bath, especially the bubble bath, was very soothing. The meals were so plentiful that I couldn’t finish everything. The sunrise the next morning was beautiful. There were also goats and rabbits, and if it were closer, it’s a place where I’d love to bring my dog for a Multiple Night Stay.

I have no complaints about the Ryokan. I was surprised to be able to enjoy red snow crab even in summer. The in-Room dining service was also excellent. Just one point: the sweet shrimp at dinner was outstanding, but the Ryokan I stayed at the next day in Amanohashidate was better in terms of the sweetness of its miso (probably just by chance...). I would definitely like to visit in winter.

I sincerely apologize for my late thank-you. This was our second stay. The front desk location had changed since last time, so I was a little confused at first. After we arrived, you upgraded us from Room KOURAI 202 to Room NOMATSU 403, which was an unexpected and wonderful offer, and we were truly delighted. As it’s the most popular among the staff, it was very spacious, with a beautiful view of the garden from both the bath and the Room—an exceptionally comfortable and calming place to spend time. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and since there was only one other group besides us, we were able to dine in a relaxed atmosphere as well. We also enjoyed visiting nearby Japanese sweets shops—it was great fun. We were deeply moved by how beautifully you filled in our travel memory book too. Done—we will definitely be back again. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

True to its name, Kutsurogi Accommodation felt relaxing and soothing. Since I stayed in a recently renovated Room, everything felt very clean. The private indoor bath was luxurious and beautiful, so I was a bit surprised by the low water pressure in the shower; however, it’s rare to find an in-room bath this well maintained, and I was satisfied. The lounge was also spacious and calm, and I could truly unwind. Local sake was available as well, making the evenings enjoyable. One area I’d really like to see improved is the amenities. The shampoo, conditioner, and skincare items were excellent, but having one more set of towels would be very helpful. If extra towels can be provided upon request at the front desk, I’d appreciate it if that could be clearly explained. Overall, it was a wonderful Accommodation. I had a lovely time with my dear mother. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

My wife and I stayed for two nights over a weekend trip. Unfortunately, it rained, so we couldn’t fully enjoy our planned sightseeing in Kanazawa. However, that made our time at the Hotel even more comfortable, and thanks to the wonderful lounge and the thoughtful staff, we were extremely satisfied with our stay. We arrived at the Hotel around noon. Our car was taken care of with valet service, and we headed to Omicho Market hands-free. We enjoyed rock oysters, Noto beef croquettes, grilled scallop skewers, and more. When we returned to the Hotel around 2:00 p.m., even though it was before check-in time, we were told that our Room was ready. The Room was spotless and calm—such a welcome consideration after walking in the rain. What I looked forward to most on this trip was the club lounge. From their well-known cakes to sandwiches, a wide selection of drinks, and even Häagen-Dazs ice cream, I was impressed by how well stocked it was. The evening offerings were also excellent—far beyond what you’d expect from “just a lounge,” and more than enough for us as dinner. We were also excited about breakfast. We had to wait a little due to full seating, but the food exceeded expectations. It felt distinctly Kanazawa-style as well, and we were very satisfied. Most memorable of all were the staff’s smiles and hospitality. Throughout our two-night stay, every staff member greeted us with genuine warmth, and their attentive care comforted us again and again. Even at departure after checkout came one last pleasant surprise. When valet brought our car back to the entrance, there was chilled mineral water placed in the cup holder. My wife and I were truly moved by such thoughtfulness right up until the end. Since we couldn’t do as much sightseeing in Kanazawa due to the rain this time, our time at the Hotel became an especially memorable part of our trip. When we visit Kanazawa again, we would definitely like to stay here. To all of your staff members—thank you very much for a wonderful two-night stay.

Thank you again for your gracious hospitality. We also truly appreciate the gift of rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles for our grandchild. We were able to relax at leisure in the natural hot spring waters of Harazuru Onsen, and the meals—especially breakfast—were excellent. If the rate were a little more affordable, this is an Accommodation we would love to visit more often. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay.

I’d heard the rumors, and they were true: the setting, hospitality, and cuisine were all outstanding. I’ve always felt that the Tokugawa family helped shape the foundations of Japanese culture, and Shiraisi-ya is said to be an even older establishment with over 300 years of history. I felt as though I experienced the secret to its longevity firsthand. I’d gladly recommend it to friends.

I have stayed here several times, and I am always satisfied with the Hotel staff, the Room, and the breakfast. The cakes and bread at the lobby lounge & boutique “Fountain” are reasonably priced yet very delicious, and taking them back to my Room to enjoy is something I look forward to every time.
