I had a very comfortable 3-day, 2-night stay in a quiet setting. The meals were delicious, and the nightly mini concerts in the lobby were truly relaxing. As I was traveling solo, it wasn’t cheap, but the Facility and the quality of the cuisine more than justified it. If I had to mention one thing, the toilet paper in the Room was thin and a bit inconvenient to use. It was a wonderful and comfortable Hotel that will likely make me want to return again in summer.

We stayed here to see the crystal-clear “Lake Biwa Blue,” and this hotel exceeded our expectations!! From the courteous service by the male front desk staff to the moment we entered our lake-view room—we were truly moved. The view spreading out before us made us gasp in delight. The room was spotless, and the bed-making was truly five-star quality. With amenities like a massage chair, we could relax comfortably just staying in the room. Dinner featured a wonderful selection of dishes that were clearly not pre-made—each one reflecting the chef’s refined sense of aesthetics. We also enjoyed the seasonal tableware at a leisurely pace. After dinner, we took a walk along Lake Biwa, soothed our tiredness in the private family bath, and went to bed early. The next morning, we watched migratory birds flying over Lake Biwa and admired a beautiful sunrise, starting the day feeling refreshed. This is a hotel we would definitely love to visit again!! I stayed here with a friend. The building is old and compact, but it was clean and well maintained, and we were very satisfied with the delicious meals and silky hot spring baths. The porcini ravioli served at dinner was so good we wished we could have had seconds. I think this is a highly satisfying place for adults to relax and unwind. It’s a bit of a walk for sightseeing, but it was nice to take a leisurely stroll before dinner.

With an excellent location for sightseeing in Nara, we stayed here for the second time, this time to visit the Nara National Museum. From the moment we arrived, the parking guidance was very courteous. The room was spotless, and the large public bath was clean as well. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had a very pleasant stay. After checking out, the staff member who first assisted us even came out of their way to see us off, which made both my husband and me truly happy. I think this is a wonderful inn filled with warm hospitality and thoughtful care.

This was my first stay. I found this Hotel online at short notice, but the 12:00 checkout and child-friendly breakfast appealed to me. The room was very clean and offered excellent value for money. The staff were also very kind and helpful. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

Kirishima truly feels like Japan’s hometown. It was a warmly welcoming, deeply comfortable inn—something that resonates all the more because I’m Japanese. It was my first stay, yet I spent such a fulfilling time that I already didn’t want to leave. There were also guests who seemed like seasoned solo travelers, and the atmosphere is one where everyone quietly appreciates the moment without overstepping—maintaining a pleasantly respectful distance. The inn cherishes an authentic sense of Japanese calm, making it a relaxing, adult-oriented space where you can truly unwind. Every dish was delicious, and the carefully prepared specialties—including their signature apple gratin—never became tiring even over multiple nights. The house wine is high quality, and it’s also a treat to enjoy pairings with drinks such as “Nanshuo,” a sake associated with Saigo Takamori. The hot springs are private-bath style, with an excellent system that lets you see availability at a glance. This trip was also meant to help heal my knee injury, and the indoor bath in particular had wonderful temperature and water quality—it soaked gently into my body. (For families with small children, the outdoor bath with its milder temperature may be more comfortable.) In this spiritually charged townscape where steam rises from all around, instead of rushing through sightseeing I was able to spend peaceful time quietly visiting Kirishima Shrine. In addition to being about 40 minutes by bus from Kagoshima Airport, it’s conveniently located right by the bus stop. With an adjacent tourist market and a convenience store just a 1-minute walk away, practicality is excellent as well. Wi-Fi works smoothly throughout the property, making it suitable for a workation stay too. A highly recommended onsen ryokan for anyone who loves tranquility, exceptional hot springs, and great food.

The moment I stepped into the inn, a wonderful fragrance greeted me and I felt excited right away. With large windows and plenty of greenery, it’s a lovely space. The room was very clean, and because there are no partitions, it felt even more spacious than expected. I have many dietary restrictions and there are items I can’t eat in kaiseki cuisine, but they were very accommodating, so I was able to enjoy everything deliciously until the end. I also enjoyed the hot springs many times, which helped melt away my daily fatigue. Thank you very much.

Following our stay during the March equinox holidays, we stayed with you again for the September equinox holidays. We booked connecting Corner Suite and Comfort Suite Rooms. With just one door between the two Rooms, communication between grandma and her grandchild improved dramatically. The Onsen in such a prime Ginza location was exceptional—grandma enjoyed it so much she went in three times. Breakfast was beautifully presented, which lifted our spirits, and everything was delicious. We will be back again.

The Onsen water was silky and very pleasant. The meals were plentiful, well-seasoned, and delicious. I would definitely like to stay at this Accommodation again.

The view from the room is simply spectacular! Suruga Bay, Mt. Fuji, and the night scenery are all breathtaking. I turned off the lights in the room and fully enjoyed the night view. The French dinner was outstanding—every dish was exquisite. Even though I was traveling solo, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. For breakfast, I had a Japanese set meal, which was also excellent. A perfect stay with nothing to complain about—I’d love to come back again.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday. All of the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and made for a wonderful dining experience. They also prepared a birthday dessert plate at the end, which helped us create a special birthday memory! The room we booked for the hinoki bath was very clean, well maintained, and combined with the surrounding atmosphere, the air felt wonderfully fresh. Of course, the hinoki bath itself was spacious, and we were able to relax and unwind. We were occasionally surprised by some noise from nearby rooms, but other than that we had a lovely stay.

The relaxing Facility, the charming Room, the wonderful cuisine, and the silky Onsen I could stay in forever—everything was exceptional. The staff’s warm smiles and attentive hospitality made it even better. This is the first Accommodation where I truly didn’t want to leave because it felt so comfortable. I would love to visit again. This was our first overnight stay at Kokori-an. The room had a spacious layout with a Western-style room, a Japanese-style room, and a bed area, and the bedding was very comfortable. We had an in-room bath that we could use anytime, but since check-out was at 10:00, I was a little disappointed—if it had been 11:00 or 12:00, I could have enjoyed one more relaxing soak in the morning. Dinner was a Kaga cuisine course with rich dashi and refined flavors; we were extremely satisfied. Breakfast also offered a good variety of dishes, and both my husband and I enjoyed it very much. My husband rarely gives compliments, but he said, “Let’s come again!” We were able to unwind in the hot spring for the first time in a while, and we are grateful for Kokori-an’s hospitality.

It was a truly wonderful hotel. I visited Kanazawa with my elderly mother, and booking a hotel in such a great location surrounded by sightseeing spots was absolutely the right choice. Getting around by taxi was smooth and easy.\nBefore check-in we arrived early, but we were promptly shown to our room as they told us it was already ready, which made my mother very happy.\nThe carpets and wall art throughout the hotel were exactly our style and really lifted our spirits.\nWe were also captivated by the Kutani ware mugs and teacups provided in the room. It made us feel, “We’re really traveling in Kanazawa!” and we were so pleased.\nThe coffee tasted especially delicious in those cups, but it was a little disappointing that the same ones weren’t available in the gift shop.\nInstead, we bought Kutani ware as souvenirs at a Kutani shop on our way home.\nFor dinner, since I was traveling with my elderly mother, I had requested seats as close to the buffet tables as possible, but they kindly prepared a private room nearby for us.\nThanks to that, we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace.\nThank you very much.\nI truly appreciate the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail.\nWe were very satisfied with both the quality and quantity of everything—from Kanazawa specialties like jibuni stew and Kanazawa oden to nodoguro sushi and dessert.\nHere as well, many beautiful pieces of pottery such as Kutani ware were used for small plates, allowing us to enjoy the food visually too.\nI rated the facilities 4 stars only because my elderly mother felt that overall the interior of the hotel seemed rather dark—this is just our personal impression.\nAfter checkout we took the shuttle bus to the station; it was a large sightseeing coach and very comfortable.\nThank you for taking such good care of us.\nWe would love to stay again.

From the courteous and thorough explanation by the front desk staff to the luxurious dinner, the breakfast with a wide variety of dishes, and the spacious large public bath and well-equipped hot stone sauna, choosing “i+Land Nagasaki” was absolutely the right decision. My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary, and it became a wonderful memory. I will be sure to recommend it to our children as well.

This was a truly welcoming and pleasant Hotel. As I was traveling solo, I was shown to a quiet seat with a great view for dinner, and I was able to relax and enjoy the meal. They were considerate about ingredients I don’t like, and everything was delicious. The only regret was that the portions were a bit large for me, and I was almost full before the main course. Breakfast was exciting, and everything was delicious—absolutely wonderful! My Room was close to the guest lounge, so I enjoyed not only staying in my Room but also spending time in the stylish guest lounge. The sauna, jacuzzi, and bedroom were all very relaxing—I had a great stay!

I originally chose to stay at Yunoyama Onsen because I wanted to relax in the Onsen. The Onsen was wonderfully soothing, and I enjoyed it many times, but to be honest, the meals were even better than expected—exceptionally delicious, with thoughtful touches in each ingredient—so I was just as satisfied, if not more so, than with the Onsen. The welcome drink and shiratama sweets, as well as the sweets café after dinner, were not the kind of “just for show” desserts you often find; they were genuinely delicious sweets, which was another highlight. Since it was summer vacation there were many families with children, and seeing them enjoy the festival games brought back memories of letting my own child play at a similar festival at Ogoto Onsen years ago. The Room was clean, and above all, the hospitality of all the staff was outstanding. I was especially impressed by how hard one international staff member working as a trainee was trying. I would definitely like to stay again—thank you very much.

Everything was excellent. The hostess’s hospitality was especially wonderful. The staff also kindly introduced us to local spots and were very helpful, so we were able to fully enjoy Nagano. The Onsen was very relaxing, and the meals were truly delicate, beautifully presented, and delicious throughout. There was no excessive service like at a luxury Ryokan, which made it very comfortable. We would love to stay again when we visit Matsumoto.

I visited Niseko to see Mt. Yotei. Unfortunately, it was raining and I couldn’t see it, but the delicious meals made up for it. Thankfully, the next day was sunny and I was able to see Mt. Yotei in all its glory. The Italian set course was excellent—each dish was delicious, and the flow of the course felt natural and very well put together.
