The warm, welcoming atmosphere from everyone at the Ryokan was wonderful. The Room was clean and very relaxing. From the flavors to the presentation, the meals were truly enjoyable, delicious, and outstanding. The portions seemed a bit small at first, so if you let your guard down you might not make it to the end—happy problem to have. (Laughs) The beer in the Room wasn’t ice-cold, so next time I’ll grab one from the back!! I’ll visit again in a different season—thank you in advance.

Even if you arrive after your scheduled check-in time, if you have a No Meals Included plan there is no need to contact them as long as it’s by 22:00, which is very convenient. You can truly hear the babbling stream and wild birds. It’s a small Hotel, and I felt the large public bath was fairly spacious. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant, and even after the shop had closed, they kindly sold me corn ice cream from the ice cream workshop at the front desk. The staff also looked out for our luggage—this is a very attentive and comfortable Accommodation. Since we were leaving early in the morning, I really appreciated being able to have De’Longhi coffee from the free drink service before heading out.

Located in a secluded area with an exceptional view from the window! The atmosphere, reminiscent of a place where bears might appear, adds to the charm!

The Room was spacious and really great. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was very convenient. My child vomited in the bedroom at night, and I cleaned it up myself; being able to move my child to the other bedroom during that time was a big help. When I went to the front desk to let them know what happened, they told me not to worry, which made me feel relieved. What was disappointing was that we couldn’t use the public bath, and that the pool hours were only until 5:00 PM. It would have been much easier to use if the pool were available until around 6:00–7:00 PM, but in the end it didn’t fit our schedule, so we left without using it.

It started with the open-air bath in a separate annex, and the Onsen was wonderful. I left the Accommodation in a hurry because it looked like my return train might stop running due to the weather. Next time, I’d like to stay for two nights and relax—enjoying the Onsen and spending plenty of time reading.

The full panorama of the Yatsugatake Mountains was beautifully visible from the window, and the small birds that came to the birch trees were soothing. Since the price was casual, I didn’t expect much from the meals, but the beef was tender and flavorful, and both the enoki mushroom tempura and whole grilled trout marinated in miso were surprisingly delicious. The staff were also very pleasant. With wonderful views and food, this was an Accommodation I would visit again and again if it were closer. I don’t usually write a Review, but this time I felt I had to write one to say thank you.

It was my first time properly staying in Chitose (coming from Kyoto) for an event at the Cultural Center. First of all, the location is excellent. The Cultural Center is practically on the same grounds. A huge AEON mall is right next door. JR Chitose Station is across the street. My cousin I met up with stayed at a hotel nearby, and the izakaya I booked was also close by. In vast Hokkaido, this area was perfectly walkable. I arrived at night, so I took a taxi to check in. It cost about 3,000 yen, and I briefly thought, “Should I have rented a car?” But among the business hotels around the station, this one stood out with a distinctly upscale feel. The building is wide—and so was my room. From the glass-walled corner area I had a panoramic view of central Chitose, and any doubts disappeared instantly. The izakaya (something like “Direct Delivery ___ Seafood”) was a total miss, but I came back and slept like a log wrapped in comfortable sheets. And then—the breakfast buffet was outstanding! Honestly, it’s something that even that famous top-class morning buffet at “Shiki” in Osaka Umeda could learn from. After relaxing properly, I checked out and left my luggage in storage. I bought some sweets at AEON as gifts for the Cultural Center staff, then went back to AEON again for redemption after last night—this time picking up amazing Hokkaido ingredients (they were unbelievably delicious when we ate them right after getting home!). What really impressed me: they even have free locker-style refrigerated storage!!! We kept our food there while we enjoyed the event; then on my wife’s suggestion we took JR to the airport—600 yen for two people. Of course! We also had some time beforehand to relax in the plaza in front of the station—Chitose under clear autumn skies. With all that open space and low crowd density, we soaked up perfect sunshine and breeze. This may be an ANA Crowne Plaza review—but honestly it made me love Chitose itself even more. And yes: ANA truly feels like an excellent hotel that preserves classic Japanese first-class standards from the Showa era!

We stayed at Kamenoi Hotel for the first time with our grandchildren to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. The room was very nice, and the food was delicious with a wide variety of options. The morning bath was also great, although it was a shame we couldn’t see the view outside from the open-air bath. On our way home, we talked about how we’d like to stay here again when we visit Beppu together.

It happened to be a day with few guests staying, so dinner was served in a single seating starting at 6:00 PM. I thought it might be crowded instead, but there were no issues and I enjoyed it. I was very satisfied with the creative Japanese set meal, and also with the buffet selection. Thank you.

The Room, amenities, and service were all excellent. The lobby atmosphere was wonderful. Please let me stay again the next time I visit Hakata!

The room was very clean. For breakfast, we used the café on the first floor, and we were satisfied because the panini, cappuccino, and soup were all delicious. The amenities were well stocked, which was a great help for an unexpected stay. Check-out was also easy, which we appreciated.

The private hot spring water was incredibly soothing, and I could really feel it ease my tired body—I went in many times. As reputed, both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The service was pleasant and attentive, and thanks to their kind consideration I had a very comfortable stay. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Sendai. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We stayed here while visiting Bokka no Sato. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the dishes with miso, vegetables, and meat, which went perfectly with rice. The children’s meal was also very generous; we were surprised that it even included sukiyaki beef. It looked so good, but the kids didn’t eat much of it, so the adults happily did (lol). The portions were plentiful, and we’re sorry we couldn’t finish all of the children’s meal. The monaka dessert filled with fruit and ice cream was a big hit with the kids. Breakfast was also excellent, and we enjoyed a hearty meal in the morning. The bath had a jacuzzi as well, and the kids had fun. There were hardly any other guests, so we could relax at our own pace—it was very soothing. We were completely satisfied with both the meals and the bath, and our whole family was able to unwind. Including our trip to Bokka no Sato, it became a wonderful memory. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity. Thank you very much.

The views from the Facility are simply outstanding. All of the staff were kind and courteous. The bath was small, but very clean and had a great view as well. The food was delicious. Thank you very much.

The staff were very kind. The location was easy to find, and the free parking was a great help. There are many tourist spots and restaurants nearby, which was convenient. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

We stayed for a relatively long visit of 4 nights and 5 days with our family and two Chihuahuas. The Room was clean, and we had a comfortable stay. Since we were staying for an extended period, we cooked quite often. It was great that the kitchen appliances were well equipped, but it was disappointing that there weren’t many dishes. It was also very convenient to be able to walk to Tsuruya in about 15 minutes. If I had to ask for one more thing, having rental bicycles at Hafumo would likely make it easier to get around and expand our range. When we visit Karuizawa again, we would love to stay here again.

I’ve stayed here several times, but this was my first time at Kobushi. ○ There is a gap at the bottom of the Room door, so outside noise carries in easily. ○ Because there is no door to the dining area, food smells spread throughout the entire floor. Also, dinner time is set at 90 minutes, and the next dishes come slowly. When dining with a child (one-plate meal), they finished early and it was difficult. These two points were drawbacks. Everything else was perfect. You can enjoy yourself from morning until late afternoon the next day! You can play a lot and relax, and everyone from children to adults will be satisfied. No matter how many times we come, my child says they want to stay again. Regarding meals, I’d appreciate it if the serving pace could be faster for guests with children—once they finish eating, they have nothing to do.

It was very crowded during Silver Week, but this Hotel offers a large pool and a newly renovated sauna, making it enjoyable for both adults and children. There is a game corner in the basement, and the warm hospitality we received this time made for wonderful travel memories. The evening bingo event was also fun. The limited-time Jozankei Shrine was very beautiful as well. We will come again. Thank you very much.

This time we stayed in the VIP Room and enjoyed the premium kaiseki dinner course. The Room was very spacious, the garden was beautifully maintained, and the private open-air bath attached to the Room was excellent. All of the staff who assisted us were very kind, and every dinner dish was carefully prepared and truly delicious. Breakfast seemed to be the same for all courses, but since we can’t eat much in the morning, we personally appreciated that it was on the lighter side. We also visited the large public bath, but we noticed towels left at washing stations that were not being used and some guests reserving spots. We think it would be even better if there were guidance on how to use the facilities in languages other than Japanese. Access was convenient—about a 7-minute walk to the streetcar stop. By taxi or car, you can reach major sightseeing spots in about 15 minutes, so if you don’t have a car, using both the streetcar and taxis makes it easy to get around. It was a 5-minute drive from the airport, so being able to leave our luggage before/after our stay was very convenient. If we have another opportunity, we would love to stay again for about two nights in a VIP Room with the premium dining course. Thank you very much.

I booked this Hotel after seeing it on YouTube, and it exceeded my expectations—it was a wonderful Hotel with a nostalgic charm that still retains the atmosphere of Japan’s Showa-era bubble period. There are many stunning scenic spots both inside and outside the building, and the meals offered a wide variety of dishes and were very delicious. I will never forget the breathtaking view of Sagami Bay from the large public bath, Spa Rium Nishiki. We stayed in an Ocean Wing Room, which was also clean. However, there was only one towel in the washroom, so I would have appreciated having face towels provided for each guest. Thanks to you, our Atami trip became a wonderful memory.
