We’ve stayed here as a family for three years in a row. In short, this cottage is wonderful in every way! They’ve also added a bicycle rental option starting this year, which made our stay even better. It’s easy to see why so many guests return. We’ll definitely be back again next year.

I stayed with my mother in her 80s. A Resort Hotel in the forest—we were able to relax quietly and take our time. The lobby, arranged with stone and wood, had a dignified, substantial atmosphere. The Room had plenty of indirect lighting, which felt very calming. However, if you want to read, it would be better to have a reading light. It was also nice to have a bath in the Room. The sulfur hot spring left my skin feeling smooth. At bedtime, the sound of running water was slightly noticeable. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented, and everything was delicious. It was also great that drinks were complimentary in the lounge. There is a large window in front of the counter, so you can feel close to the trees and nature outside. The staff were kind and very pleasant as well. I’d like to stay again.

I stayed here again last month. It’s 17 minutes from Hakodate Airport and a 3-minute walk from the bus stop, and the views are great on the upper floors. The large public bath is fed by free-flowing natural hot spring water, and there is also a sauna. Breakfast was carefully prepared in both Japanese and Western styles and was very delicious. The Japanese breakfast included sake and wine in the morning, while the Western breakfast offered three types of wine—white, red, and rosé. Meat was served live daily with rotating options such as beef, pork, and lamb. Public bath hours: 1:00 PM to 10:00 AM the next morning (available anytime during these hours). The staff were very kind, with proper greetings and attentive service. For this price, it’s an excellent place to stay, so I would like to use it again.

We stayed for two nights in late August on a family trip. On the first night, I became unwell (likely heat exhaustion due to Kyoto’s climate and lack of sleep), and you kindly adjusted how dinner was served. You also prepared an ice pack and cold water, and all the staff offered warm words afterward as well—I truly caused you a lot of trouble. The next day we returned to the Accommodation early after sightseeing, but housekeeping was completed quickly and the Room was restored to a comfortable state. Our child had brought a favorite stuffed toy, and seeing it seated on the sofa warmed our hearts. I was also impressed that all staff had shared information such as my avoiding caffeine and our child’s preferences, and handled everything so naturally with thoughtful care. The timing of your check-ins and sense of distance were just right, and we experienced truly wonderful hospitality. We used the Room as a family of three (our child is in 6th grade), and it felt neither too large nor too small. Having a bath in the Room was especially nice because we could use it whenever we wanted. The water temperature was set to 41°C, which feels hot in summer, but we could adjust it by adding water. The changing area had floor heating, which helped prevent us from getting too chilled after bathing. Towels and water were replenished as well, so even if we sweated after bathing, it was great to be able to use clean towels and clothes. Also, there was a lovely fragrance the moment we entered the Room, with incense throughout the building—these scent touches made everything feel special and out of the ordinary. Every meal was truly delicious. Our child has many dislikes when it comes to seafood, but you accommodated this thoughtfully; plus, both days’ menus were different so we could enjoy variety. In particular, the charcoal-grilled style dishes along with Anto-jiru soup, takikomi gohan (seasoned rice), and Wakan 18 tea were excellent—our child loved them too. Breakfast also came with many rice accompaniments that were all delicious. The soups and dashi-based dishes especially felt very “Kyoto,” which we appreciated. Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took care of us during our stay. We made wonderful memories in Kyoto thanks to you. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again as a family.

It was a wonderful Accommodation. We were very satisfied with both the bath and the meals, and the staff were very kind. We had a relaxing stay. The Room was spacious, and we were able to unwind comfortably.

The bath, the Room, and the meals were all excellent. The bath has a great view and is spacious, so you can relax and take your time. The catfish at the breakfast buffet was especially delicious, so I ended up eating a lot. All of the staff were very kind. (Thank you so much for sending my lost item back to me!) I will definitely stay here again!

Highly recommended accommodation for watching basketball games at the Fukushima Firebonds' home venue. Enjoy a relaxing stay in a calm atmosphere, just within walking distance to the venue (about 15 minutes). Taxis can be arranged promptly by requesting at the front desk. The breakfast area is spacious and provides a very peaceful experience. Breakfast is Japanese-style, with unlimited refills of rice and miso soup. All staff are friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a connecting room for four people and had an excellent time—definitely want to visit again!

We stayed here for a commemorative trip with four generations of our family on Respect for the Aged Day. We were truly delighted by the pleasant greetings and thoughtful hospitality from everyone in every department, including the manager. The meals were lavish and delicious, the Room was clean, and the natural Onsen was wonderful. It became a trip full of great memories, and our whole family is very happy. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for our family trip at the end of summer vacation. It was a special Room—the only one of its kind in the Hotel. It had the space of two Rooms plus a living area, and an exceptionally large bathroom—about the size of another Room—with a spacious bathtub where you can fully stretch out, as well as a separate shower room. The bubble-bath function had been removed, but features such as the marble flooring gave it a very luxurious feel. There were also private stairs, a ramp, and an exclusive corridor leading to this special Room, with outstanding attention to privacy. From the Room, we enjoyed breathtaking views over all of Lake Megami and the surrounding mountains. There were three large TVs, which delighted our children, and we could use the air conditioning as well, so we stayed comfortable throughout our visit. The public bath included an open-air bath and even two saunas, and the lockers were clean. From the open-air bath we could look out over Lake Megami and the mountains while relaxing in the Onsen. We enjoyed cooling off in the cold bath, watching clouds drift by, and taking our time to fully appreciate Tateshina Onsen. As it was peak season, both dinner and breakfast were buffet only; while there weren’t many items overall, each dish was truly delicious. The coffee did not seem to be freshly drip-brewed from a machine like those found at some buffets, so having a coffee machine would be nice. Next time we are very much looking forward to trying kaiseki cuisine at the basement-level restaurant as well. As an IKYU.com Diamond member benefit I requested late check-out; unfortunately it wasn’t possible due to peak season demand. Still, this is such a wonderful Hotel that we wanted to stay even longer—the Room was beautiful, spacious, and impressive in every way. Thank you also for the Diamond member gifts (a bottle of wine and souvenirs from Nagano). Since in Parking Lot No. 1 the wheelchair-priority space is shared with EV charging spaces, I think it would be better to separate them so that enough spaces can be secured to meet nighttime EV charging demand while keeping accessible parking available at all times. We arrived at 11:00 and completed check-in procedures first; the front desk staff were excellent. We requested early check-in but it wasn’t possible due to peak season; however when keys became available before 3:00 p.m., they were handed out in order of completion of procedures—so arriving early was worthwhile for us after all. We will be staying in this same Room again in the future as well; thank you in advance from our whole family for your continued hospitality. Thank you very much to all staff members.”

We stayed here during the Obon holidays with our family and our dog. The Room felt a little small for four adults plus a dog, but the amenities were well stocked, everything was thoroughly cleaned, and we had a very comfortable stay. The grass in the dog run was also beautifully maintained, and our dog seemed to have a great time. Some Reviews mentioned concerns about the food, but they kindly accommodated our request as we are not fond of river fish, and the meals were actually delicious. There was a wide variety of dishes—so much so that we wished we had started dinner a bit earlier to enjoy even more. It seems the dining hall offers many other menu items besides what we had this time, so next time we would like to choose a Plan without meals and try various dishes there. All of the staff were very kind and handled everything with care even during the busy Obon period, which impressed us. It was a wonderful Accommodation that made us want to return for another family trip. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

A hidden gem at our breakfast restaurant is the Fisherman's Bowl, also known as Mago Chazuke. Served in a special bowl with half a portion of white rice, namero (minced fish), shirasu (whitebait), pickled plum, grated yam, shredded seaweed, wasabi, and dashi broth. Perfect for those looking to replenish salt and energy during summer fatigue—give it a try! Enjoy it with the scent of the sea and ocean breeze! We have a suggestion: how about offering an "Ahi Creative Tuna Bowl" during lunchtime someday? GINGER or SPICY Ahi bowls are extremely popular in Hawaii. We believe it would be perfect for SAYAN's lunch menu and could become a hit dish. You can compare it to OFF THE HOOK or MAGURO SPOT—Ono!! Announcement! September is the best time to visit our accommodation. Summer isn't over yet! On September 13th and 20th, we will host Surfing Meetings 2025. Although it rained, we were able to relax and take our time. We requested a birthday cake for our son, and the staff sang along with us. Their warm welcome made us very happy. The food was delicious, and we will definitely stay again.

It was an amazing two days. The greenery in the Room—and above all, the bath facilities—were wonderful. The open-air bath, the spacious sauna, and the soothing high-frequency music playing in the background helped me truly relax. I would love to stay again.

We stayed as two adults with a small dog. We usually enjoy camping in a tent, but we wanted to simplify setup and packing up, and while looking for a place a bit farther away, we found the ideal cottage. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side, and we were worried because it rained so heavily that evacuation alerts came through on our phones the next morning, but we were able to head home without any issues. Because of the rain, we couldn’t enjoy the view, the starry sky, or a campfire, but we thoroughly enjoyed BBQ on the terrace. Since BBQ is basically all we ever do for meal prep, you kindly allowed us to use the on-site BBQ area as well. During our Onsen visit, you even looked after our dog—thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of us in every way. We brought various supplies for our dog, but aside from food, none of it was necessary—you had everything covered for dogs too... There were plenty of insect-repellent measures prepared, and the amenities were more than sufficient. The bedding was also clean. We definitely want to come again on a sunny day!!

We stayed here to celebrate my spouse and me turning 70. The Room with an open-air bath was spacious, and we were able to relax comfortably. The Onsen water quality in the large public bath was excellent. We could choose different temperatures depending on the area, and we were very satisfied. The meals were also very delicious. It became a memorable celebration. We would like to visit again.

This was the final Accommodation of my first trip to Niigata, a 3-night, 4-day journey. Our Room was the 2nd-floor Western-style twin [Marronnier]. The bathroom, with a separate toilet, was very convenient and made our mother-and-daughter trip extremely comfortable. The closet was spacious, and there were plenty of hangers. Just before check-in there are shoe lockers, and you can walk around the building barefoot or in socks. From the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the Room and along the corridors, you can enjoy views of wine grapes vineyards and the mountain range stretching from Mt. Yahiko. I visited looking forward to Vinespa’s aroma hot stone sauna, but I was told it is no longer available after renovations—such a shame. Still, the open-air baths placed throughout the garden offered wonderful scenery, and I thoroughly enjoyed soaking both after dinner and before breakfast. Restaurant Cave d’Occi is beyond a European-style garden that is carefully maintained by gardeners. The April menu—beautifully presented and truly delicious—featured local ingredients (hairy crab, celeriac root celery), spear squid), wild boar meat), flounder), roast beef smoked with branches from wine grapes vines), etc.) without feeling overdone). At the winery shop, I had my favorite Zweigeltrebe and unoaked Chardonnay shipped home). The next morning’s Japanese breakfast surprised me—in a great way: zaru tofu with olive oil was delicious!! At checkout time) pizza toast) grape juice) at the library café tasted so good it made leaving hard). It’s an Accommodation that made me genuinely envy those who live nearby).

I booked my first glamping stay to coincide with a meteor shower. During the BBQ, the staff came around and we enjoyed chatting, making it a really fun day. The creative options at the vegetable market, roasting marshmallows over the campfire, and stargazing were all amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t see any meteors, but we did get to watch a procession of deer in the middle of the night. However, it was far too cold at night and I couldn’t fall asleep, so warm clothing is essential in this season. I struggled a bit with making up the bed. Breakfast also turned out well.

We stayed here with three generations—my daughter and her husband, our grandchild, and my mother. The private bath was spacious, and the Onsen was wonderful! The dining area was also a private room, and the staff who served us were very kind, so we had a great time. Unfortunately, the weather was bad and it was cold, so we couldn’t use the pool. It was our first time at an Accommodation where the Room, meals, and large public bath were all on the first floor, making it easy to get around with minimal walking. I think it’s an elderly-friendly Accommodation! If we have another chance, this is a Hotel we’d love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

Thank you for the delicious meal. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into it, and the paired drinks were excellent as well. The large public bath was on the smaller side, but the private open-air bath was too good to enjoy just once—I wanted to use it again and again. Next time, I’d like to book early from the start.

It felt like the Accommodation had been upgraded compared to my previous stay. The staff came out from the front desk to welcome us, carried our luggage, and created a bright, courteous atmosphere. We had our dog with us, and it was very reassuring. I also accidentally forgot our dog’s bowl, but you kindly lent us a replacement—thank you so much. Next time I’ll bring it. The squid sashimi and tempura we’d been looking forward to were wonderful, and the abalone shabu-shabu I tried for the first time was excellent. The other dishes were also delicious. It’s such a comfortable Accommodation, and even without traveling far, I don’t think there’s another place in Fukuoka Prefecture that offers this level of attentive service. The price is also very reasonable, so it feels like a great deal. I filmed the squid sashimi as a video, but unfortunately couldn’t upload it. Highly recommended.
