Used for one night during a trip around Tohoku. I booked at a great price and honestly didn’t expect much, but the value for money was outstanding—I was truly impressed. The room felt a bit dated, but it was kept very clean and was spacious enough to be comfortable. I also loved the ocean view at sunrise. What really stood out was the buffet. They offered plenty of local specialties such as Morioka reimen, wanko soba, and imoni, and the roast beef was authentic. Not only Japanese dishes but also Western and Chinese options—an incredible variety with so many choices. Lots of desserts too! There was even a chocolate fountain that kids would love, and the fruit quality was excellent. Everything tasted delicious—truly wonderful. The all-you-can-drink alcohol selection was also extensive; it almost made me worry whether they can make a profit with this price for one night with two meals included. Breakfast was just as fantastic. The buffet layout is refined and uncluttered as well. I’ve stayed in many places, but this buffet is better than that of certain members-only resort hotels. It really reminded me that hospitality matters more than facilities. It’s lively with what seem to be repeat guests from nearby prefectures, yet they don’t appear to overbook beyond their capacity—the service is attentive throughout. It’s a shame it’s too far for me to visit often. I’m honestly jealous of those who live nearby. A family trip here would be guaranteed to satisfy everyone.

This was my second stay. Recently I had been staying mostly at Hotels directly connected to Niigata Station or close to the station, but I made a Reservation this time because I wanted to enjoy this breakfast buffet again after a long time. I was a little disappointed that there were fewer varieties of branded rice than before, but everything paired perfectly with rice and was very delicious. With three kinds of yogurt and four kinds of fruit, it was a very satisfying breakfast. The Room was also very clean and comfortable. I would like to stay here again.

The view from the room is simply spectacular! Suruga Bay, Mt. Fuji, and the night scenery are all breathtaking. I turned off the lights in the room and fully enjoyed the night view. The French dinner was outstanding—every dish was exquisite. Even though I was traveling solo, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. For breakfast, I had a Japanese set meal, which was also excellent. A perfect stay with nothing to complain about—I’d love to come back again.

We stayed here while visiting Bokka no Sato. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the dishes with miso, vegetables, and meat, which went perfectly with rice. The children’s meal was also very generous; we were surprised that it even included sukiyaki beef. It looked so good, but the kids didn’t eat much of it, so the adults happily did (lol). The portions were plentiful, and we’re sorry we couldn’t finish all of the children’s meal. The monaka dessert filled with fruit and ice cream was a big hit with the kids. Breakfast was also excellent, and we enjoyed a hearty meal in the morning. The bath had a jacuzzi as well, and the kids had fun. There were hardly any other guests, so we could relax at our own pace—it was very soothing. We were completely satisfied with both the meals and the bath, and our whole family was able to unwind. Including our trip to Bokka no Sato, it became a wonderful memory. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity. Thank you very much.

A wonderful hotel with great service and friendly smiles from all the front desk staff. In particular, a Burmese female staff member was very courteous and even guided my wife to the large public bath. The service was excellent, including arranging a room with a view of Mt. Tokachi. The only downside is that the hot spring is far from the room and a bit complicated to get to.

We visited our son, who moved to Yamaguchi Prefecture for work, together with his younger brothers and their mother. The scenery was beautiful, and the meals were especially excellent. The staff were very kind, and the children were happy, which made it a wonderful memory for us.

This was the final Accommodation of my first trip to Niigata, a 3-night, 4-day journey. Our Room was the 2nd-floor Western-style twin [Marronnier]. The bathroom, with a separate toilet, was very convenient and made our mother-and-daughter trip extremely comfortable. The closet was spacious, and there were plenty of hangers. Just before check-in there are shoe lockers, and you can walk around the building barefoot or in socks. From the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the Room and along the corridors, you can enjoy views of wine grapes vineyards and the mountain range stretching from Mt. Yahiko. I visited looking forward to Vinespa’s aroma hot stone sauna, but I was told it is no longer available after renovations—such a shame. Still, the open-air baths placed throughout the garden offered wonderful scenery, and I thoroughly enjoyed soaking both after dinner and before breakfast. Restaurant Cave d’Occi is beyond a European-style garden that is carefully maintained by gardeners. The April menu—beautifully presented and truly delicious—featured local ingredients (hairy crab, celeriac root celery), spear squid), wild boar meat), flounder), roast beef smoked with branches from wine grapes vines), etc.) without feeling overdone). At the winery shop, I had my favorite Zweigeltrebe and unoaked Chardonnay shipped home). The next morning’s Japanese breakfast surprised me—in a great way: zaru tofu with olive oil was delicious!! At checkout time) pizza toast) grape juice) at the library café tasted so good it made leaving hard). It’s an Accommodation that made me genuinely envy those who live nearby).

We stayed here with my daughter’s family. The Onsen, the meals, and the service were all excellent. In particular, the staff’s kindness made us feel very at ease. The food was delicious and very generous in portion size—I ended up eating too much. It made for a wonderful Golden Week holiday. Thank you very much. Yubara Onsen is the best.

We stayed for a relatively long visit of 4 nights and 5 days with our family and two Chihuahuas. The Room was clean, and we had a comfortable stay. Since we were staying for an extended period, we cooked quite often. It was great that the kitchen appliances were well equipped, but it was disappointing that there weren’t many dishes. It was also very convenient to be able to walk to Tsuruya in about 15 minutes. If I had to ask for one more thing, having rental bicycles at Hafumo would likely make it easier to get around and expand our range. When we visit Karuizawa again, we would love to stay here again.

It started with the open-air bath in a separate annex, and the Onsen was wonderful. I left the Accommodation in a hurry because it looked like my return train might stop running due to the weather. Next time, I’d like to stay for two nights and relax—enjoying the Onsen and spending plenty of time reading.

I stayed on a Plan with Club Floor access. The service was excellent. I was especially impressed by the delicious in-house apple pie, scallop soup, and tomato juice. The Hotel’s atmosphere, rich in tradition and elegance, and the refined, attentive hospitality of the staff were outstanding. It made for a truly luxurious stay.

Above all, it’s cool and comfortable, very dog-first, and there’s a large dog run and pool Facility nearby. The food is delicious, and the baths are very clean—overall a perfect score. However, for commemorative photos, it would be better if guests could purchase selected photos as well as the full data set.

This trip to Hokkaido was a three-sister getaway to celebrate my older sister’s 70th birthday. I requested a birthday message plate, and on the day you kindly prepared a private Room for us. The dessert message plate was wonderful as well! Dinner, including the grilled scallops, was absolutely delicious. I’ve been recommending this Accommodation to my friends—if you’re going to Otaru, please be sure to stay here! Thank you very much. The staff were very kind, and we truly enjoyed talking with you. The bath, the Room, and the meals were all excellent. The bath has a great view and is spacious, so you can relax and take your time. The catfish at the breakfast buffet was especially delicious, so I ended up eating a lot. All of the staff were very kind. (Thank you so much for sending my lost item back to me!) I will definitely stay here again!

I booked my first glamping stay to coincide with a meteor shower. During the BBQ, the staff came around and we enjoyed chatting, making it a really fun day. The creative options at the vegetable market, roasting marshmallows over the campfire, and stargazing were all amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t see any meteors, but we did get to watch a procession of deer in the middle of the night. However, it was far too cold at night and I couldn’t fall asleep, so warm clothing is essential in this season. I struggled a bit with making up the bed. Breakfast also turned out well.

The warm, welcoming atmosphere from everyone at the Ryokan was wonderful. The Room was clean and very relaxing. From the flavors to the presentation, the meals were truly enjoyable, delicious, and outstanding. The portions seemed a bit small at first, so if you let your guard down you might not make it to the end—happy problem to have. (Laughs) The beer in the Room wasn’t ice-cold, so next time I’ll grab one from the back!! I’ll visit again in a different season—thank you in advance.

Even if you arrive after your scheduled check-in time, if you have a No Meals Included plan there is no need to contact them as long as it’s by 22:00, which is very convenient. You can truly hear the babbling stream and wild birds. It’s a small Hotel, and I felt the large public bath was fairly spacious. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant, and even after the shop had closed, they kindly sold me corn ice cream from the ice cream workshop at the front desk. The staff also looked out for our luggage—this is a very attentive and comfortable Accommodation. Since we were leaving early in the morning, I really appreciated being able to have De’Longhi coffee from the free drink service before heading out.

I stayed at this accommodation during my visit to Kanazawa. The meals were all truly delicious, with a refined taste that highlighted seasonal ingredients, leaving me deeply impressed. This small accommodation with only 7 rooms offered a very quiet and peaceful stay, and the staff's warm hospitality was exceptional. Its proximity to Kanazawa city and the tranquil surroundings allowed me to enjoy a relaxing time. I would love to visit again.

I’ve stayed here several times, but this was my first time at Kobushi. ○ There is a gap at the bottom of the Room door, so outside noise carries in easily. ○ Because there is no door to the dining area, food smells spread throughout the entire floor. Also, dinner time is set at 90 minutes, and the next dishes come slowly. When dining with a child (one-plate meal), they finished early and it was difficult. These two points were drawbacks. Everything else was perfect. You can enjoy yourself from morning until late afternoon the next day! You can play a lot and relax, and everyone from children to adults will be satisfied. No matter how many times we come, my child says they want to stay again. Regarding meals, I’d appreciate it if the serving pace could be faster for guests with children—once they finish eating, they have nothing to do.
