Opening the front door reveals an ocean view, and the Room has been beautifully renovated—clean, spacious, and wonderful. However, there was a lot of dog hair from a previous guest on the floor and sofa. The stick vacuum was out of charge, so we used the provided lint roller to clean. There was no liquid left for the vape-type insect repellent. Also, since there is no night light on the second floor, a stand light had been provided as an alternative, but it was broken. The floors did not feel thoroughly cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. The BBQ grill didn’t seem to get hot enough—at first I thought it might be broken, though now I think it may have been due to how it’s operated. That said, the area is a quiet residential neighborhood with a supermarket nearby. The view from the windows is amazing—you can see the sea—and at night the stars are beautiful. Most cooking utensils and seasonings are provided. There’s no TV service, but Wi-Fi is available and you can project Netflix and other content onto the wall for a home-theater experience. The interior has been renovated; upstairs is set up as bedrooms; and both the toilet and bath are very clean. The air conditioning works well. The best part by far is the continuously flowing open-air bath: both the indoor bath and open-air bath are natural Onsen. The round open-air bath is about 160 cm in diameter and can fit three people comfortably. It helped us forget everyday life and truly relax. We also appreciated receiving a paella meal kit as a seasonal perk—thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. We booked again because we trust that making a Reservation through IKYU won’t disappoint. Overall, it was very good—a wonderful time—and our dog enjoyed it too.

We stayed for two nights and had a truly wonderful time. All the front desk staff were very kind, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Both the Room and the in-house Facilities were excellent, and our whole family was very satisfied! We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We were upgraded and given a Room on the top floor. The Room was spacious with a double bed, and although we weren’t expecting much of a view, we could see high-rise buildings from the window, which created a nice atmosphere and made it easy to relax. About 90% of the guests were international, and the friendly, pleasant staff were also mostly from overseas. It felt like being in another country. Perhaps because our expectations were too high, breakfast didn’t quite meet them—while the bread was delicious, we wished there had been a few more Japanese-style options. Overall, it was great to enjoy an international vibe.

The accommodation was not brand new, but it had thoughtful touches to ensure guests enjoyed their stay. The meals included generous portions for children, which made them very happy. The adult dishes were tailored for older guests, and my parents were satisfied and pleased. On the second floor, there was a ball pool where my son played excitedly; it's a facility that even small children can enjoy. It was an accommodation that makes you want to visit again.

As soon as we stepped inside, we were amazed by the gorgeous interior and how much closer the ocean was than we had imagined. The ocean view was truly breathtaking—an experience you don’t often get. The welcome drinks at check-in came in many varieties, which made it feel special and was perfect hospitality on a hot day. Both dinner and breakfast were prepared at the time we requested, so we could relax. For dinner, the BBQ included local meats, seafood, vegetables, and more, with explanations provided for each item. It was our first time using this type of grill, but the staff kindly showed us how to use it, so even beginners could grill everything deliciously with confidence. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and we were very satisfied with dinner. We usually have to prepare everything ourselves for a BBQ (including cleanup), so it was great that the Hotel took care of everything. After dinner, we enjoyed coffee while watching the sunset. Three types of coffee beans and an electric grinder were provided, along with instructions on how to use the grinder and recommended grind sizes—so we could enjoy freshly brewed coffee and spend a truly special time. There was a jacuzzi on the terrace bath area, and our kids were thrilled since it was their first time. The amenities for children included cute dolphin toothbrushes and sponges, which they loved. For adults, there were ReFa shower heads as well as a hair dryer, hair iron/curling iron tools? , hair oil? etc., leaving our hair smoother than usual—we were delighted. The croissants and roast beef at breakfast were also delicious. We would definitely like to stay again.

Everyone was satisfied with the Facility, amenities, and services. However, starting use from 3:00 PM felt a bit late. In summer, many guests come to the beach early in the morning, so being able to use it from at least 12:00 PM would make the stay even more enjoyable. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed at “Hiire IZU,” which I’d been curious about for a long time. The lava irori hearth at the center of the room was simply outstanding. It’s a gas-fired irori co-developed with a kitchen equipment manufacturer, so you can enjoy not only grilling meat and fish, but also hot pot and even ajillo—truly a special time to savor the experience of gathering around the fire itself. Cooking and enjoying Izu’s bounty over the flame ourselves—such as splendid alfonsino landed at Ito Port, seasonal fish, and Yamakiichi dried fish—was unforgettable. The dishes were elevated even further by beautiful local craftsmanship: tableware by Shichiro Fujii of Azanayama Kiln, Gendo yosegi woodwork, and IZUIRO wooden trays. We also stopped by the nearby general store “Kosanchi,” and were moved throughout our stay by how deeply this Accommodation embodies a spirit of making things with care.

We stayed for one night over New Year’s. The guidance was courteous, and the explanations were clear, which left a great impression. The Room was clean, and our children had a wonderful time. Both the BBQ area and the Room were warm, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. It was glamping we would love to stay at again.

I was looking for a pet-friendly Plan for my first glamping experience and happened to find Gran Apple Kobe Sanda. Since I live next door in Takarazuka City, I didn’t go in with very high expectations, but… I was extremely satisfied—not only with the Facility, but also with the hospitality and service. It easily exceeded my expectations, and we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest! The space for dogs was also spacious and a big hit with my family, and we’re already talking about coming back in another season. That said, the Wi-Fi felt quite unreliable, repeatedly connecting and disconnecting. It was a bit stressful when trying to upload photos or videos, so I’d really appreciate it if this could be improved. Overall, my satisfaction level is very high. Honestly, I feel lucky to have found such a great nearby spot where you can enjoy an extraordinary getaway!

After check-in, we were informed that the Onsen at the affiliated Facility was still under renovation, so we received admission tickets to a nearby hot spring Facility and were able to enjoy Aso Onsen. In the morning, we had breakfast while taking in the magnificent panoramic views of Aso—it was a truly luxurious moment. Our grandchildren were very happy as well, and we’ll be back again next year!

We stayed one night in a glamping tent where we could spend time with our dog. Both the night view and the sunrise were beautiful! The BBQ was delicious too! However, the front desk is unattended from 20:00 to 8:00 (phone support only for emergencies), and there was no refrigerator Facility in the tent. Since we had to leave for our next destination by 8:00, we couldn’t ask the front desk to freeze our cooler ice packs, which was disappointing. This is essential in summer, so it would have been great if the Room had a small fridge/freezer.

Although the weather was not great, we still enjoyed our stay and even had fun with the little inconveniences. A wonderful Room and meals. Next time, I’d love to watch the stars.

I stayed one night in Ueda while traveling from Tokyo to Kanazawa. It looks far more stylish than in the photos. I expected a renovated Hotel in an older building, but I was impressed from the moment I stepped into the front desk area, and I also loved the calm atmosphere of the Room. On top of that, the large public bath and sauna were truly outstanding. Every item at the attached bakery looked delicious, and quite a few people came just to buy bread. This is a highly satisfying Hotel that makes you want to stop by Ueda whenever you visit the Nagano area. Because I hope it continues to become an even better Hotel, my only request is this: while I was happy with the breakfast bread selection at the restaurant, I’d like to see a bit more effort put into both the dinner menu and some of the finer details.

The room is clean and very quiet despite being in the middle of Shinjuku. There is also a large table, making it very convenient. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

We stayed with two families! We made a Reservation for the rock-bath cottage, and it was very spacious with a wonderful natural wood scent. We used the river and the pool, so we wanted to hang our swimsuits in the Room, but there wasn’t a good place to dry them. It would be helpful to have a simple drying rack on the balcony. We chose the BBQ plan and brought extra meat thinking it might not be enough, but it was much more filling than expected and we couldn’t finish it! The rock bath was also spacious, and the kids were thrilled. Thank you very much.

I ordered the seafood BBQ for dinner and was amazed by the large spiny lobster. Since it’s Oarai, I also wished to try clams. Breakfast was delicious as well. It would have been even better if the fridge had not only water but also a few soft drinks or beers. The pool and private spa (with sauna) were very relaxing. With the beach right in front, I enjoyed going to the sea too. It would be nice if sandals were available for rent. Thank you very much!

We stayed as a family (6 adults, 2 children, and 1 dog). The high ceilings, cleanliness, and spaciousness made our stay very comfortable. Despite the extreme summer heat, a small pool was provided for the children to cool off and have fun. With games and karaoke available, we didn’t need to bring additional entertainment—it was more than enough to enjoy. We prepared our own meals, but the kitchen was well-equipped with utensils and cooking tools. A couple of points we noticed: the shower water pressure was weak (even after following instructions to turn off the outdoor bathtub), and despite setting the air conditioning to 18°C at maximum fan speed, it still felt warm indoors—likely due to the 37°C heat outside combined with high ceilings and good sunlight exposure. Overall, we were very satisfied! We’re already talking about coming back during colder months to enjoy using the fireplace. We’d love to stay again—thank you so much!

The footsteps of the guests on the second floor were noisy until around 2:00 a.m., making it difficult to rest. Overall, I was very satisfied with the Accommodation.

We stayed on 9/21 as a couple with our dog. The space was just right for us without any waste! The mini dog run in front of the Room had grass clippings left as they were, so we had to start by clearing them outside the fence ourselves... The large dog run was completely unmaintained and overgrown with grass, which was disappointing since we were looking forward to using it. We scheduled dinner at 7:00 PM, but it was already dark, and the light at the entrance alone wasn’t enough. It would have been nice if there were outdoor lights near the table. However, the food was delicious, and we enjoyed a relaxing time. Most importantly, not having to prepare or clean up ourselves was the best part! The breakfast sandwiches were also very tasty. We were looking forward to watching the sunset but couldn’t see it from our Room, which was unfortunate. I forgot to ask if there are ocean-view Rooms available for guests with dogs in general. Despite some points mentioned above, we had a wonderful time! Thank you very much!
