All the staff were very friendly, and we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The food was delicious as well. We would definitely like to stay again.

We stayed with our 4-year-old daughter for my husband’s birthday. After making a Reservation, they kindly confirmed by phone and accommodated our last-minute request for a birthday plate as much as possible. Both the staff on the phone and the team on site were all warm and attentive. There were plenty of kid-friendly activities, such as playing in the river behind the property and fireworks at night, which made it a very satisfying trip. They were also very kind to our child, and she says she wants to come again.

This is my favorite Accommodation, and I have stayed here several times. Because it’s a detached log cabin, you can relax in nature without worrying about others. Outside the windows is lush greenery, and soaking in the bath while listening to birdsong is truly soothing. The meals are always delicious, and all the staff are kind—making it a very comfortable Accommodation. With Shuttle Service available, it’s easy to visit even by train, and it’s an Accommodation I want to return to again and again. I’ll be back in a different season. Thank you very much.

This Hotel is still the best in Sapporo. The Facility is old, but the location, the staff’s service, and breakfast while looking out over the park are all unforgettable. A morning walk through Nakajima Park after breakfast is wonderful. Sadly, it will be closing soon, but even after it becomes a Hilton, I hope it will carry on the Park Hotel spirit.

We stayed one night in Okayama to spend some quality time together as a couple for the first time in a while. Our Room was a corner Room near the elevator with a great view. The Room felt a bit old, but it was well maintained and clean. We had planned to go out right away, but we ended up wanting to just keep enjoying the view. Breakfast was on the top floor, and the scenery there was different from what we saw from our Room, which was nice. The food selection included both Japanese and Western options, and they even had Kasaoka ramen—everything was excellent. We also appreciated having our photo taken. Since we chose a Plan with 12:00 checkout, we were able to visit a nearby exhibition while leaving our luggage at the hotel. We heard that the Rooms will be renovated next year, so we’re looking forward to seeing them after the renovation.

We stayed at Kinugawa Onsen “Kizuna” from July 31 to August 2, 2026 (2 nights/3 days). We checked in with two adults, one child, and two Chihuahuas. I thought I had made a Reservation for a Room without an open-air bath, but due to what seemed to be a communication issue, we were instead shown to a Room with an open-air bath (a lucky surprise). Having an open-air bath in the Room meant we could enjoy the Onsen anytime, day or night, and our whole family had a truly happy time. For every meal (breakfast and dinner), we were able to dine in a private room (rather than the usual shared dining area). The menu changed each time, so we looked forward to every meal and headed there excitedly. Each dish was refined and absolutely delicious. With drinks as well, we felt completely satisfied after every meal. By chance, the Nikko Fireworks Festival was held on Saturday, August 8, and we were able to enjoy spectacular fireworks from our Room as well (another lucky moment). Above all else, what made our stay so comfortable was the attentive service from the manager and staff members—and their genuine hospitality in accommodating guests’ requests. That level of professionalism seemed to fill the entire Ryokan, allowing guests to relax completely and enjoy an exceptional experience. For three days, we fully enjoyed an extraordinary getaway both physically and mentally. It may sound childish, but it was such a wonderful Ryokan that I didn’t want to leave—I wanted to stay forever. Everyone in our family kept saying “Let’s come again,” so we will definitely return. My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who took care of us at “Kizuna.” Thank you very much for everything.

This was the best breakfast I’ve ever had! The vegetables and pork were delicious, and there were also dishes like squid rice and grated yam. The yogurt and corn felt uniquely Hokkaido as well. On top of that, the chilled sweet red bean dessert and elderflower jelly were outstanding. It was also a pleasure to stop by the Hotel’s guest-only lounge during sightseeing for tea and sweets—and they were genuinely delicious, not an afterthought! Overall, everything felt spacious and relaxing, and I was able to unwind comfortably.

This was my first time staying here. There is also an underground parking lot, and the Room amenities were well stocked. I was very satisfied with the coffee machine and the complimentary drinking water. The breakfast buffet also included an egg station, and everything was delicious. I will stay here again when I return home. Thank you very much.

The breakfast is excellent. It is served in the Room and includes soup, bread, and juice, with just the right portion size. During our 2-night stay, the soup menu changed each day, and both were very delicious. It felt like the ideal Hotel breakfast. At check-in, we received a welcome drink along with a detailed explanation from the staff. The stay was comfortable and became a wonderful memory of Sapporo.

From check-in until our car left the Ryokan, the staff naturally came outside to welcome and see us off. I think there are very few Ryokan or Hotels that do this. The preparation of the futon bedding and in-Room dining was pleasant, and it made for a wonderful stay. Every dish was delicious, and the portions were very satisfying. If I had one request, I would be happy if there were a bit more local vegetables—especially for guests in their 50s like us. This may be a matter of preference, but I felt the miso soup would have been even better if it were served a little hotter. Similarly, I would have preferred the water in the large public bath to be slightly hotter. What impressed me most was how thoroughly everything was cleaned. Even at expensive Hotels or Ryokan, you often notice dust in hidden areas or peeling wallpaper and small flaws here and there, but everything visible was very clean. Precisely because it isn’t brand-new, it felt especially comfortable. It was my first stay here, but I feel like I got great value. My only concern is that many of the staff seemed to be around my age or a bit older, so I hope this Ryokan will continue for many years and be passed on to the next generation so guests can keep enjoying it. This is truly one of my favorite Hotels, directly connected to Osaki Station with excellent transportation access. This time I had plans in Omotesando and also went to Shibuya, Shinagawa, and Yurakucho, and the location was perfect for getting around. The price including breakfast was a great value. As I always mention, if there were just one more something at breakfast, I think I would like it even more. More Hotels are putting extra effort into their breakfast these days, so please consider it.

I love the calm atmosphere of Tateshina Tokyu Hotel and have stayed here several times. Its setting in the forest, the dignified yet unpretentious interiors, and the quiet time you can spend here offer a charm that is hard to find at other hotels. This time was no different, and it reminded me again how much I like this hotel. Also, though it’s a small thing, I really like the toothbrushes in the guest rooms. They’re comfortable to use, and I can feel the hotel’s thoughtfulness even in these details. I hope you will continue with the current ones. On the other hand, precisely because I’ve been coming for many years, there are a few things that disappointed me. The biggest one is that Japanese dinner has been discontinued since this year. On a Multiple Night Stay, we used to enjoy being able to choose “Western tonight, Japanese tomorrow” within the hotel itself. Especially for us—who prefer not to drive once we arrive and instead relax in the forest or inside—the option was very important. French cuisine certainly has its appeal, but having Western meals both nights makes it feel like a slightly different hotel than before. I would be happy if Japanese dinner becomes an option again someday. I was also sorry to hear that the garden pool, long loved by guests, has ended operations starting this year. I understand it was due to aging facilities (Facility), but combined with the end of Japanese dinner options (Facility), it feels as though some of what made Tateshina Tokyu special is gradually disappearing. One more thing I would love to see enhanced is the in-house library collection (Facility). This is such a quiet Hotel where you can relax while looking out at the forest—perfect for reading. The current selection feels lacking not so much in quantity as in curation quality. If there were more books that you’d want to pick up specifically because you came to Tateshina—on Shinshu’s nature and culture, mountains, architecture, travel writing, literature—it would make time spent at this Hotel even richer. I’m not asking for new facilities or services one after another. Rather, I hope you will continue cherishing and preserving what makes this Hotel unique. These comments come from someone who truly likes this Hotel—and I hope to keep visiting for many years to come.

I stayed here during a trip. With limited Hotel options in Yonago, I chose this one mainly for its location, and it turned out to be far better than I expected! The Room and unit bath are a bit dated, but everything is clean and comfortable. Above all, the breakfast exceeded my expectations in both variety and taste—I was very satisfied. Great value for money, and highly recommended for a stay in Yonago.

We stayed here on our silver wedding anniversary trip after a day of golf. With in-room dining, we were able to relax at a leisurely pace, and since the bath in the Room is also an Onsen, we could enjoy it whenever we liked. The staff were attentive in many ways, making the stay very comfortable. When we stayed previously, the manager remembered that I get cold easily and prepared extra bedding for us, so I slept comfortably. The Facility is old and there is no open-air bath, but it’s rare to find an Accommodation with such high-quality Onsen water, a charming pond where carp swim, and convenient access. We would love to stay again.

Most surprising of all was how delicious the meals were. After we were already full, they brought out dessert, and there was so much that we couldn’t believe it—very satisfying. Although the Facility is old, the food made everything OK. The lotus flowers next door were also in full bloom and very beautiful.

My first trip to Onomichi. I chose Hansei, highly rated for its outstanding cuisine. The kaiseki meals made with seasonal Setouchi ingredients were exceptional—each dish carefully prepared, and while true to classic kaiseki, they also incorporated new ingredients in a way that was both impressive and delicious. Even the pickles were finely scored with hidden knife work, showing thoughtful consideration for the guest. I was amazed by the high level of quality. The special sea bream chazuke (with sesame sauce) at breakfast was also superb.

As wonderful as the food was, what moved me most was the attentiveness and care shown by all the staff. From check-in to check-out, their hospitality was excellent. One member of staff in charge of dining even quietly placed an extra dish beside a photo of a family member who could not join us at breakfast and dinner—an incredibly touching gesture.

The “Travel Memory Book” was something that staff had written for the first time, but it became a truly lovely keepsake—the carefully drawn illustration and message conveyed their warmth so clearly.

With such wonderful staff and delicious food, Hansei is a place I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here with our dog. It’s a two-story detached villa-style Accommodation with plenty of space. The interior is thoroughly cleaned down to every corner, making it very comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were generous in portion, with a great variety of dishes, and everything tasted excellent. Dog amenities are well provided; you do need to bring your own food, but we had no particular issues. The only personal downside was that there was no wash basin in the bathroom, but even considering that, it’s a very appealing Accommodation and we were highly satisfied. We definitely want to visit again.

I stayed for two nights, and while the main dishes changed, I was concerned that the buffet was exactly the same both days. I think it can get a bit repetitive.

My spouse and I stayed on 8/5. The Ryokan is located around the middle of the Akayu Onsen town. When we arrived at the entrance on a quiet midsummer afternoon, a lovely proprietress warmly welcomed us. The artworks displayed throughout were truly beautiful and valuable—nostalgic yet mysterious—and it felt like visiting a hidden museum surrounded by mountains. The Onsen baths included a Roman-style bath and a rock bath. Everything was kept very clean, with an artistic atmosphere, and the water was pleasantly hot—it really seemed to help with stiff shoulders and nerve pain. The shower pressure was also excellent. We ate nearby this time, but we heard they offer carefully curated menus. And the Room: a spacious Japanese-style Room, welcome tea and sweets, and a large TV—absolutely satisfying. I also saw comments from others saying the Facility and building feel old, but that’s exactly what makes it special. I hope it can remain as it is for as long as possible. It was an old-fashioned, artistic Ryokan where we could truly relax and feel healed. Thank you very much!

It was the first time I truly felt how fresh and clean the air was—you can’t experience air like this in Osaka. Since it was during the rainy season, it was a shame we couldn’t see the stars.
