With the heat being so intense, we decided to take it easy at our Accommodation on this trip and chose Fufu Kyoto, which we had wanted to stay at for a long time. Even though we arrived late, we truly appreciated you coming out to welcome us in the heat. Every staff member greeted us politely, and from start to finish we were able to spend our time in complete comfort. In the Room, cold tea was prepared for us, which was a relief after arriving. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided in just the right way, and we were able to stay without any inconvenience. The meals in particular were carefully crafted with seasonal dishes down to the smallest details; they were delicious, and both of my parents were very satisfied. We were also grateful to receive cold water when departing. We are glad we chose this Accommodation. Thank you very much.

I visit Karuizawa often, and this Harvest VIALA felt spacious and very comfortable. Both the Facility and the meals were satisfying, and the shop selection was excellent. The other guests were also well-mannered, so it was a place where I could relax and truly refresh. The bedding was comfortable as well, though I would appreciate having a light summer quilt available. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful Hotel where we could truly enjoy Lake Biwa. The Room offered a panoramic view of Lake Biwa and felt incredibly open and airy. The interior also had a luxurious touch, and we genuinely enjoyed simply spending time in the Room. All of the staff provided excellent service, proactively checking in with us, so we never had any trouble during our stay. The Onsen was especially memorable. The water quality was excellent, and the view of Lake Biwa from the open-air bath was exceptional. On the day we stayed, a crescent moon reflected on the lake’s surface, creating an enchanting scene. The amenities were also high quality. We were very satisfied with the all-inclusive lounge as well. With its high ceilings and spacious atmosphere, enjoying drinks freely while looking out over Lake Biwa was truly fantastic. Dinner featured an outstanding full-course Omi beef meal—so much so that it felt like great value for what you get. There was also a wide selection of drinks, and we were especially happy to see many local sake options available. They paired perfectly with the fresh ingredients. Breakfast was a buffet featuring locally sourced ingredients with plenty of variety. The restaurant had ample seating, so we could dine comfortably without waiting while enjoying views of Lake Biwa. If I had one request, it would be helpful to have a Plan without dinner as an option—this would make it easier for guests on a Multiple Night Stay to enjoy dining out for one evening. For that reason, we changed our stay from two nights to one night this time; however, after actually staying here, it was such an excellent Hotel that we regretted not booking a Multiple Night Stay. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights.

I stayed for two nights on my first trip to Hakodate. The view was amazing, and everything—from the service to the Room—was excellent. The Hotel also offers loaner bicycles, and there are plenty of nearby options such as car rentals and convenience stores. It’s also within walking distance of the station. There’s a morning market just a short walk away, so I had breakfast there. When I arrived in heavy rain, they immediately lent me a towel, which really warmed my heart. Even though I went in and out many times a day, they always greeted me with a smile, saying “Have a nice day” and “Welcome back.” There was no waiting for the elevator, which made everything comfortable. The Room was spotless as well. This is a Hotel I would definitely want to stay at again on my next trip. Thank you very much!

Although it was my first trip to Gifu and I arrived in the rain with a typhoon approaching, the Hotel was exactly as expected. The views between the Nagara River and Mt. Kinka—worthy of “Tenka Fubu”—along with the Onsen, meals, and wonderful hospitality were all excellent. Inside the Hotel, I even got to meet Nohime, making it an unforgettable trip. I would love to stay again.

The open-air bath at Shiun-no-Yu was outstanding. Breakfast is their top highlight, and the variety, selection, and taste were all perfect. I have stayed at La Vista in Hakodate, Kushiro, and Furano, and the high quality has been consistently maintained—it’s truly excellent.

My family asked to visit Kamikochi and Shirahone Onsen, so I made a Reservation at the long-admired Awanoyu with its milky-blue waters—and they were thrilled. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful attention to every detail. The chef’s outstanding dishes, featuring local ingredients and seasonal flavors, were unforgettable. The Onsen was unlike any we had experienced before and left us relaxed in both body and mind. We were also deeply moved by the warm, understated hospitality of the proprietress and all the staff. We found an Accommodation we want to return to right away—thank you for a wonderful memory!

I almost don’t want to share this, but I can see how hard everyone at the Hotel is working… Relax on the lovely terrace (it’s cool, and the breeze feels wonderful. Free drinks are a nice bonus, too). Unwind in the Onsen (the open-air bath is inside the building, so it stays pleasantly cool in the shade. The large windows open fully for an airy feel, and you can relax while looking out at the forest). The walkway to the dining area feels like stepping into another world—very inspiring—and of course, the food is delicious. On our way home, we had soft-serve ice cream at Takasu Farmers in Hirugano Kogen. It was great value and incredibly tasty. We also bought some lily flowers to take home. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

All the staff were incredibly friendly, and they even saw us off at the end, which made us feel wonderful. At breakfast, we enjoyed local Shinshu flavors such as mushrooms and ended up eating a lot.

We stayed for two nights, and it was the perfect getaway. The detached guesthouse at the end of a lovely walking path was very comfortable and spacious, and we truly felt at ease. The Onsen had a wonderfully gentle feel, and we enjoyed it many times. The staff were also incredibly warm and welcoming. The meals were outstanding—beautifully balanced flavors, and every dish was deeply satisfying. It was a truly enjoyable stay, and we would love to return someday. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for my younger sister’s birthday. The beef in the kaiseki course with Shinshu Premium Beef was very tender, and even when it cooled down, it didn’t feel heavy or greasy—absolutely delicious. All the other dishes were also excellent, and we were very satisfied. Perhaps because I mentioned the birthday in advance, we also received a surprise gift, which made us very happy. The Onsen was wonderful too, and my sister said it was a shame we only managed to use it twice. From the warm welcome on arrival to being seen off at departure, it felt heartfelt all the way through—not just a quick goodbye at the front desk. Thank you very much.

The room, with its white-based design and high ceiling, felt clean and relaxing with heated wooden flooring. The semi-open-air bath in the room was spacious, filled with plenty of silky smooth water. Having a water dispenser was also very convenient. Both dinner and breakfast were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making the experience truly delightful. The staff showed great care and attention to my elderly mother, allowing us to enjoy our stay with peace of mind. Thank you very much!

We stayed in a two-room suite with a view of the townscape roofed with Sekishu tiles. The view itself wasn’t great—more like looking at the neighboring house—but it was more than made up for by the hospitality and the food. This wasn’t typical Ryokan cuisine; the dishes were thoughtfully prepared using local ingredients. Hot items were served hot and freshly made. We stayed on the day of the fireworks festival before Obon. After taking a bath, we lay down until dinner, watching the sunset and listening to insects—it felt wonderful. We went to Yakushiyu before dinner, but it was hot while waiting there, and since the Accommodation’s bath was so good, we wished we had used the Accommodation’s bath in the evening and gone to Yakushiyu early in the morning instead. In the hallway, as part of their hospitality, there was a refrigerated case where each guest could choose one drink—beer, juice, or water. That made us happy. And about the fireworks: we expected a small rural display, but it kept going for nearly 30 minutes without getting boring—it was very well planned. We’d like to stay again around this time next year before Obon.

Thank you for your continued support. Staying at this Hotel is a special pleasure for us as a couple. In summer, we stay here after SUP in Zushi, and in winter, around our wedding anniversary. The location is incredibly convenient—close to Kamakura Station and just steps away whether you want to shop for souvenirs or buy freshly harvested vegetables at Renbai. The moment we step into the Hotel entrance, that distinctive scent brings us back, and it makes us smile. All the staff are kind and provide truly pleasant service. That’s why we never feel like trying another Hotel (laugh). We’ve already made our winter Reservation! Until then, we’ll keep working hard.

This was my long-awaited trip to Huis Ten Bosch. I considered staying at one of the official Hotels inside the park, but chose this Hotel for its extensive Facilities, the large number of positive Reviews, and the reassurance of the Okura brand. Even before arriving at the main entrance by car, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the building’s exterior. The stunning stepped atrium from the 1st to 3rd floors also set an exciting tone for a truly luxurious stay. The female bell staff member was exceptionally polite and kind, saying, “We’ll take your luggage up via a separate elevator, so please go ahead to your Room.” When I entered, there was an adorable teddy bear on the table by the window. The message card read, “Happy Birthday,” and since it was my birthday month, it was such a delightful surprise! She also wished me a happy birthday in person, which really moved me. From my Room we could see not only Huis Ten Bosch but also views out to open water—an amazing panorama. It was during the Obon holiday period so there must have been many guests staying, yet thanks to how spacious the Hotel is overall, it never felt crowded. Above all else, every staff member’s attentive service stood out. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and usually find something to complain about somewhere—but this time there wasn’t a single issue, and I enjoyed every moment in complete comfort. While this is clearly a Hotel designed with visits to Huis Ten Bosch in mind, once you cross the bridge there’s also a JR station (remarkably close to the waterfront), so on day two we took the train and went as far as Sasebo. It’s also very useful as a base for sightseeing in Nagasaki City or Sasebo. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety with plenty of both Japanese and Western options—I ended up eating far too much. This was my first time visiting Nagasaki and Huis Ten Bosch, and it became an unforgettable trip full of wonderful memories. Next time I’d love to stay longer—this truly is an outstanding Hotel. 1. “2 minutes on foot from Asahikawa Station” seems unrealistic; it’s probably about a 5-minute walk (depending on where you start). 2. It was lively, with many guests who seemed to be Chinese. On the Room floor, there were leftovers placed outside some doors. 3. There was coffee and newspapers on the first floor, and I could relax and read them on the sofa. 4. The Onsen is also open to day-use visitors. I used it in the morning and evening; it was very comfortable.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay in August, and everything was outstanding! First, the food: starting with peach soup with lobster on the first day, followed by artistically beautiful and delicate dishes. On the second day as well, from the prosciutto and Shine Muscat appetizer to char, wood-fired lamb… everything was perfect through dessert—we truly enjoyed every bite. The garden is spacious and beautifully maintained, with wonderful views. The open-air rock bath was amazing. The Room was also spacious and spotless, allowing us to relax at our own pace—it was pure bliss. The staff’s greetings were warm and pleasant, and this is an Accommodation we definitely want to return to. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

We stayed as a group of four—my elderly parents, my sibling, and me—who usually live apart. My parents were especially pleased with the heartfelt hospitality. The meals were excellent; I particularly enjoyed the dessert. We will visit again.

My husband, his older sister, and her grandchild—three seniors—visited with our first-year junior high school son. My husband and I also stayed here seven years ago. The weather looked uncertain that day, so we moved our ropeway plans to the next day and arrived early. We were able to use the Onsen and relax until check-in, enjoying the Onsen at a leisurely pace. The food was beautifully prepared, and everyone was impressed. My koji class instructor uses the phrase “food that feels good on your stomach,” and this was exactly that. My sister-in-law is 83 and kept saying how delicious everything was; even though she said she couldn’t possibly eat that much, she finished it all. Breakfast was also enjoyable with both a bento option and a buffet. Our Room had been renovated and was very clean. All of the staff were young, energetic, and refreshing. Their language was polite as well, and we had a very pleasant two-day stay. I mentioned this while chatting with the staff—and then carelessly added that “everyone is cute,” which I now regret as an inappropriate comment about appearance.

The Facility is a bit old, but it is thoroughly cleaned and I have no complaints. Both dinner and breakfast feature many homemade dishes, and everything tastes excellent. The dinner’s buttered potatoes came with an incredibly generous amount of rich butter. For breakfast, there were rolled omelet and French toast—everything was truly delicious. It’s well worth visiting just for the meals alone.
