I made a Reservation for a day-use in-room dining Plan to celebrate my friend’s 60th birthday. Thanks to the Hotel’s thoughtful consideration, they kindly lent us a red celebratory vest and hat, which we truly appreciated. The Onsen was wonderful, and the meal was delicious—we even enjoyed drinks from lunchtime, making it a very fulfilling day. Thank you very much.

Although the building itself feels a bit old, the interior of the Room has been renovated and well maintained, so we were able to stay comfortably. The bath was also a wonderful tea-brown Onsen unique to Ikaho. Some of the staff were young foreigners, but their service was polite and it was clear they are well trained. Thank you for accommodating my request in advance that I do not do well with wheat flour by leaving out dishes such as okkirikomi. If possible, I would have been happier if something could have been added in place of what was removed (for example, tofu), rather than having only a plain soup pot. Lastly, thank you to the very friendly proprietress for greeting us after our meal and for taking photos for us at the entrance. At Ryokan I have used recently, it seems less common for the proprietress to come out and greet guests, so this was especially nice. Please stay healthy always. We were able to leave Ikaho Onsen with a very good feeling.

The exterior gives the impression of a traditional hotel, but once inside, it feels like a bright and clean luxury Ryokan. The rooms and hallways have a touch of Showa retro atmosphere, yet everything is impeccably clean and well-maintained. The staff's hospitality is excellent. As for the meals, true to the hotel's name, there are many recipes featuring apples that were both enjoyable and delicious. However, the highlight was definitely the Onsen. The large public bath was almost always private whenever I visited, and the water quality was incredibly smooth—leaving my skin warm and moisturized after bathing. I also appreciated how they separated bathing areas for day visitors and overnight guests, which added to the special feeling of staying there. The welcome apple was not only delicious but also a charming idea that brought warmth to my experience. I would love to visit again!

After sightseeing in Kamikochi (Mt. Yakedake hike) on Sunday, 5/31, I stayed at Super Hotel Nagano/Iida Inter. The best part was being able to stay at such a great price with breakfast included (delicious bread, salads, side dishes, etc.), and it reaffirmed that choosing this Hotel was the right decision. I’d definitely like to stay again if I have the chance! One suggestion: I would personally appreciate it if breakfast could start 30 minutes earlier, from 6:00 a.m. This would make it easier to travel smoothly for sightseeing that day, so I hope you will consider it.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Although it was a type without an indoor bath, amenities were well-prepared, and the basket bag provided for going to the bath was convenient. It was also nice to be able to choose the size of the yukata. The facility wasn’t brand new but had a clean and pleasant atmosphere. I prefer Onsen water to be slightly hotter, so I deducted one star for that. Meals were served in a large hall, and each dish—whether warm or cold—was served at the right temperature and tasted delicious. There was no coffee in the room, but freshly brewed coffee with free refills was available in the lobby, which was great. The staff created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which I appreciated. Being able to settle payment before check-out was also convenient.

I made a Reservation here because I was staying with my child and wanted a Room with an Onsen bath. Since you fill the open-air bath yourself, you can soak whenever you like, and at night the stars were beautiful—enjoying the Onsen under the night sky was amazing. The staff were very kind: they gave us sightseeing tips, and although the main building is just a short walk away, they also came to pick us up for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was more than we could finish, while breakfast was just the right amount. The building itself is old, but it was kept very clean, and we were treated with great care—overall we were very satisfied. A staff member will guide you, but if you are staying in an annex building you will drive close to it, so I recommend going to check-in without carrying your luggage.

It was a comfortable stay at this new Hotel. It is located right in front of the station, making it convenient for dinner and for a morning walk around Senba Lake. Breakfast was well prepared, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The only issue was that it did not appear on my car navigation system. Perhaps because the Hotel is new, or because my navigation system is outdated, it did not come up by name or phone number. The roads around Mito Station include some multi-level intersections and are a bit complicated, so it took some time to find it.

Just as shown in the photos on IKYU, the Accommodation is surrounded by nature, and the location overlooking the Kofu Basin is truly spectacular. The Room is compact, but its tent-like design makes it fun. The bath isn’t an Onsen, but the night view from the open-air bath was stunning and more than satisfying. Before dinner, we relaxed by swaying in a hammock on the terrace and taking our time by the campfire. Dining while watching the scenery gradually shift from dusk to a sparkling night view felt wonderfully luxurious, and the food was delicious. From the Room facilities and amenities to even small details like tableware and cutlery, everything showed careful attention, and overall it felt very tasteful. In the morning I woke up before dawn and spent time watching the Kofu Basin slowly brighten while looking out at Mt. Fuji. Having coffee by the campfire was a truly memorable experience—one I’m sure I’ll remember for a long time. I highly recommend this Accommodation, though breakfast is self-prepared, so that point may come down to personal preference.

I stayed in a newly renovated Room with an open-air bath. The Room was spacious, and the open-air bath was large enough to relax in comfortably. The food was carefully prepared and very delicious.

The view from the beautifully polished high-floor windows was outstanding. Thanks to that, even though our stay was short, we were able to fully enjoy Hiroshima. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming, so we left Hiroshima feeling truly satisfied. Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking care of us for three nights. During our stay, we moved the car in and out many times to provide Shuttle Service for a friend, but thanks to the parking coupons you issued, we were able to use the car without any stress—thank you very much. We were impressed by the tower view from our upgraded Room, and we enjoyed breakfasts with different styles each morning. Thank you for your kindness from check-in to check-out.

Buffet-style dining is common at Hotels, but I was amazed that this buffet also came with generous servings of assorted seafood. Everything was delicious, and I ended up eating too much. There was also a great variety of desserts, which made it even more enjoyable. That day, I went to the Tulip Festival in Yubetsu Town—after seeing the beautiful flowers, breathing in the fresh air, and enjoying a wonderful meal, it became a truly memorable day.

My monthly staycation is usually at a Hotel in my local Minato Mirai area, but this time I went a bit farther to Hotel Indigo Gora. I drove there alone, and the winding mountain roads in Hakone were a little tiring. I arrived before check-in and planned to relax at the footbath, but as soon as I parked in the outdoor lot in front of the Hotel, a staff member came right away and helped with my luggage. The welcome drink and Umaibo snack were a nice touch, and being able to check in comfortably while seated is one of those pleasures you expect from a Hotel of this class. When I entered my Room with the staff’s guidance, I couldn’t help saying, “Beautiful!” out loud. It’s a compact Hotel with around 100 rooms, but the Japanese-modern design—combining a raised tatami area with beds—was truly charming. I usually prefer modern Hotels, but this stay reminded me how calming and appealing Japanese-modern style can be. For dinner, I ordered à la carte at the on-site restaurant. The shrimp, scallops, and abalone in the bouillabaisse were surprisingly tender; the burrata was rich and paired perfectly with tomato and basil. The white wine went down easily. Since I don’t eat much, I also appreciated having à la carte options instead of only set courses. The bath in my Room was spacious, and I was able to fully enjoy the Onsen at leisure. The breakfast buffet also impressed me in both variety and quality—especially the green beans dressed with sesame sauce, which tasted far better than anything I could make at home. Even as someone who eats lightly (and can be picky), it was more than satisfying. The hospitality from everyone on staff was excellent, and the entire property was beautiful and comfortable. It was a wonderful Hotel that made me want to return again.

I stayed here for a Mt. Tsukuba hike. I really appreciated being able to pick up the ropeway discount tickets even before check-in. The Onsen after the hike was incredibly soothing. The bath area has been beautifully renovated, and the amenities (POLA) were excellent. The view of the Kanto Plain from the Room is stunning, and the night scenery is beautiful as well. When I woke up in the morning, everything was pure white—I enjoyed a morning bath surrounded by clouds and a delicious Japanese breakfast. It wasn’t clearly stated, but free drinks like coffee and apple juice were available, which was a pleasant surprise. Both the restaurant staff and front desk staff were very courteous and left a great impression. I’ll definitely stay again.

With art subtly placed throughout and no crowd noise, it felt like relaxing in a private villa. The meals were excellent, and the yudofu at breakfast was especially comforting. Our Room came with an open-air bath and sauna, and it was spacious, easy to use, and simply the best. We would love to return.

It feels like there’s nothing around, and the Facility stands alone. The Room and other areas were average.

The Room was very clean, and we were very satisfied. Breakfast in the morning also met our expectations. We would like to stay again.

Even though it was Golden Week, we were able to make a Reservation, so this was our first stay here. It turned into a wonderful trip and we were very satisfied. We could feel the attention to detail in every item, from the ornaments in the Hotel to the small touches in the guest Room. The wallpaper in our Room was especially lovely. All of the staff were friendly while also giving us just the right amount of space, which made us feel at ease. The large public bath on the 3rd floor, including the open-air bath, was kept at a comfortable temperature that made it easy to stay in for a long time. The changing area was thoroughly cleaned and felt very hygienic. We bathed before dinner and again before breakfast, and it felt great. We also appreciated that bathing is available from 5:00 a.m. We had dinner at the restaurant in the neighboring Facility. With the short course—from appetizers to soup, main dish, and dessert—everything was delicious. We had also asked the Hotel in advance for a Mother’s Day surprise dessert plate, and the restaurant staff handled it perfectly. My mother was delighted, and we were happy as well. Thank you for helping create such a wonderful memory. Breakfast was served inside the Hotel; the egg dish had a gentle flavor, and the salad served in jars featured fresh vegetables and tasted great. Thank you very much for everything—it became a truly special memory. At checkout, you kept safe an earring I had forgotten in the changing area and checked with all guests until it finally made its way back to me. I’m sorry for any trouble this caused. Your thoughtful response meant a lot to us. After that, we were also happy to run into someone from your front desk again at “Hatsukoi no Oka Cafe,” part of your group that has recently started operating. We would love to visit again in another season. Thank you very much.

One night, two days, for one person. I was picked up from Yokoze Station by the Shuttle Service on a rainy evening. With a typhoon forecast (it turned out to be just normal rain), the Accommodation was quiet. I headed straight to the bath, and from the open-air bath the trees felt close; the gentle sound of rain was beautiful. It was a wonderful soak surrounded by nature. At dinner, I enjoyed warm sake along with beautifully prepared appetizers and warm river fish dishes. The carrot tofu and sobagaki tempura were unlike anything I’d had before—truly delicious. The vegetable tempura and wild boar were also outstanding. I was completely full after the mountain-vegetable mixed rice and handmade udon, and then dessert left me even more satisfied. Even so, I ordered late-night snacks in my Room—miso potatoes, grilled rice balls, and fruit liqueur. Strangely enough, despite being so full, I woke up hungry in the morning. Another rainy open-air bath before breakfast made it an amazing one-night stay. Thank you very much. If possible, it would be even better if non-smoking Rooms were available for solo guests as well—I wouldn’t mind paying an additional fee. Everyone at the Accommodation was very kind; thank you for such a wonderful time.

We stayed for 1 night with 2 adults on a birthday trip for my partner. We chose the Plan with a private chef service, and a local island chef made sushi right in front of us. He was friendly and kind, so we could enjoy the meal while chatting—it was a truly special experience. The food tasted exceptional, the portions were generous, and we were very satisfied. After dinner, we had drinks at the Kura BAR. Even if you don’t drink alcohol, there is a great selection of soft drinks, so you can feel at ease. We tried drinks unique to Shodoshima, and they were delicious. The Accommodation’s Facility is not only spacious—every corner is stylish and beautiful, and you can really feel the owner’s attention to detail. There are four bedrooms; we couldn’t use them all with just two people, but we used two rooms—one for naps and one for sleeping at night. While our meal was being prepared, relaxing in the tatami room while listening to cicadas was simply perfect. The stone bath is also large. It takes about an hour to fill with hot water, but the owner filled it for us during dinner time—his kindness warmed our hearts as well. With the window open, a pleasant breeze came in through the bath area. The morning bath was wonderful too, with sunlight streaming in. It seems you’re allowed to harvest any vegetables from the garden field as well—we picked four tomatoes in the morning. They were crisp and tasty! The fruit prepared for breakfast was sweet too. Having breakfast while looking out at the garden was truly one of a kind. More than anything else, what made us glad we chose this Accommodation was the owner’s personality. Even during Shuttle Service pickup/drop-off he responded flexibly to our needs, which helped us so much. He is very knowledgeable; whenever we asked questions about the island he could answer anything. He laughed that “the birds will eat them,” referring to his vegetables—I felt he has such a calm nature (in a good way). He also took several commemorative photos for us—and he’s genuinely great at taking pictures! You can really sense his taste there too. In any case, he is incredibly kind and offers far more hospitality than I can possibly fit into one Review…! If I have another chance to visit Shodoshima, I would love to stay at Oyashiki Stay Sachi again. One night wasn’t enough—next time I hope we can stay two nights.
