The relaxing Facility, the charming Room, the wonderful cuisine, and the silky Onsen I could stay in forever—everything was exceptional. The staff’s warm smiles and attentive hospitality made it even better. This is the first Accommodation where I truly didn’t want to leave because it felt so comfortable. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

The large public bath was a wonderful amenity. Breakfast was delicious too—I ended up eating more than I meant to.

I have stayed here several times. The building is a bit old, but it is well cleaned and comfortable. Breakfast has improved even more than before with a wider variety of side dishes, and the curry in particular keeps getting better. If I may mention one complaint: could something be done about the showerhead? I would like to relax with a gentler water flow.

Everything was great! Although it was a smoking Room, there was no odor and the Room was clean. The large public bath was excellent as well. We stayed during the Obon holiday so it was crowded, but the staff were very helpful. The only downside was that we couldn’t get a mobile signal in the Room, but Wi‑Fi was available so it wasn’t a problem.

This was my second stay, and even understated, it was outstanding. Last time I took a roundabout route and felt it was far from the station, but this time I came up from the underground level of the building that houses KITTE and reached the Hotel via an air-conditioned route—once outside, it was just a few minutes away. The staff are always very pleasant and kindly explain everything in detail. The Room size is more than sufficient—just right. It had a unit bath, but both the bathtub area and the toilet space were spacious enough. There are cups, glasses, and an electric kettle, and you can pick up as many coffee packs or tea bags as you like at the front desk. It seems there’s also a drink service at the breakfast venue, but I didn’t have time to use it, which was a shame. There’s also a convenience store nearby. One thing I personally love is how many places there are to put things. I like to keep my cosmetics and clothes laid out where I can easily see them during my stay, so having plenty of surfaces makes it truly comfortable. The desk, chair, and mirror are all exactly where you want them—very convenient for skincare and makeup. The Room layout—the design and placement of everything—is really thoughtful. I also appreciate having sturdy slippers instead of those flimsy disposable ones that annoy me. These might be pretty specific preferences, but this Hotel fits me perfectly in every way. I usually don’t bother writing a Review, but this is one Hotel that absolutely makes me want to leave one! I liked it so much that I ended up signing up for membership (lol).

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. There was only one reason I came to Shirahama: To stay at Kuroshio Sou. When people think of Shirahama, many picture the sea and resorts. But what I found here was Wakayama itself. What moved me most at this Accommodation was not only how outstanding the food was. It was Head Chef Etani’s exceptional skill, and his deep respect for the producers who support every single dish. Fishermen. Farmers. Brewers. Roasters. And the artisans who continue to protect Japan’s fermentation culture. The moment I saw the map of producers introduced alongside the meal, I understood what this Accommodation truly values. Through the cuisine, you encounter not only ingredients, but also the people behind them and Wakayama’s climate and character. I was especially impressed by how delicious the soy sauce and Kinzanji miso were at dinner. When I asked about them, I learned they were from Horigawaya Nomura—a producer with over 350 years of history that still preserves traditional craftsmanship using firewood-heated iron kettles—making both their soy sauce and Kinzanji miso in that way today as well. I had originally planned to visit a different soy sauce brewery, but heavy rain made it impossible. Sometimes, the places you cannot reach end up guiding you to the story you were truly meant to find. For me, Kuroshio Sou was exactly that kind of place. The wonderful Onsen gently healed not only my body, but my mind as well. The quiet comfort throughout the building, Chef Etani’s cuisine, and the hospitality of all staff— together they quietly express this Accommodation’s philosophy in everything it does。 As a former chef from Tasmania, there is something I felt deeply: True hospitality is not just serving delicious food; it is helping guests connect with the people and culture that sustain a place。 I now have one more reason to return to Wakayama。 Thank you again from my heart.

I stayed here for the first time because I’d heard the breakfast was delicious! There’s a large public bath, the Room bath is spacious, and of course the breakfast was great. It was a bit disappointing that the Room refrigerator didn’t have a freezing function, but they were able to provide ice the next day, which really helped. I also regret that I couldn’t make it in time for the curry served from the evening. I’d like to stay here again if I’m in the area.

The room was new and well cleaned, so I had a very comfortable stay. It’s a bit disappointing that the bathroom is a unit bath, but considering the price, it’s more than sufficient. Breakfast offers a wide variety, so even for long stays you won’t get bored, and it’s delicious—I looked forward to it every day. For those who go diving or snorkeling, there is a fully equipped drying room and showers, which were very convenient to use. I would like to stay here again.

The Room was spacious, and the bathroom featured a jet bath. Breakfast was also delicious.

I had a very comfortable stay. It was close to the station and very convenient. I was impressed that the skincare products at the amenities bar were Sekkisei. This time I booked No Meals Included, but I would have liked to try the breakfast if I had the chance.

This Hotel is directly connected to Iyotetsu Matsuyama-shi Station, which was convenient since I planned to take an express bus the day after my stay. The Room and the large public bath were both very clean and well maintained. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which included local specialties (Uwajima-style sea bream rice and five kinds of mandarin orange juice). Since I enjoyed Onsen at Dogo Onsen Honkan, I only needed a place to stay and a good breakfast, so I was very satisfied and felt it offered great value for money.

Perhaps because it has been renovated, the Room was clean. For this price, it was great to have the bath and toilet separated, and I also appreciated having space to wash. If I have another opportunity, I would like to stay again.

A well-balanced breakfast gave me the energy to head to work, and the large bath helped me unwind after a long day. Despite the clean Room and convenient location, the price is reasonable. There are no excessive amenities, but all necessary services are well provided, making my business trip comfortable. They also handled taxi arrangements with great care, and I felt it was a Hotel where I could stay with peace of mind. I was also satisfied with the user-friendly in-Room features such as a TV that shows how crowded the dining area and large public bath are, as well as an air purifier.

I often stay here for business, and the check-in and check-out times fit my schedule perfectly, allowing me to plan my work appointments with plenty of time—this is always a great help. No matter how many times I stay, the Room is always kept clean and well prepared, and I had another comfortable stay this time as well. The staff are consistently polite and pleasant whenever I visit, so I can always stay with peace of mind. I have stayed five times, and it is a Hotel that satisfies me every time. I would like to stay again on my business trip next month.

It was very convenient, as the Hotel is close to a streetcar stop and there are shopping streets and commercial facilities nearby. I really liked the bathroom with a washing area, and the bathtub was spacious. However, the underside of the drain cover was darkened, so I would appreciate it if this kind of detail could be cleaned without being overlooked. Otherwise, it was a very comfortable Room, and I would like to stay here again if I have another chance to visit Hiroshima.

When staying in Tokyo, I often rely on Hotel Monterey Akasaka for both business and personal trips, and I always feel at ease choosing it when staying in Akasaka. This time, I stayed for one night with a friend on a private trip. The entire Hotel has a calm atmosphere, and the property is kept very clean and well maintained, so once again I had a very comfortable stay. The Room was spotless and relaxing, which always gives me peace of mind every time I stay. Above all, the staff were extremely courteous, making my experience pleasant from check-in throughout my stay. No matter when I visit, they welcome me warmly and with thoughtful attention to detail—one of the reasons this Hotel is one of my favorites. The location is also excellent. It’s convenient when I have plans around Akasaka, and after returning to the Hotel I can enjoy a quiet, restful time. It’s easy to use for both business and leisure. Once again, I was able to relax comfortably and am very satisfied with my stay. In the past my husband usually made the Reservation(s), so this is my first time writing a Review. Thank you as always for welcoming me so kindly. I would definitely like to stay here again whenever I’m in Tokyo.

After watching the Awa Odori, our family of four stayed here. We couldn’t find anywhere in Tokushima City with two Rooms available, so we chose this place by elimination—but we were very satisfied. The Rooms were connected Rooms, with two Rooms linked by an internal door when opened. The beds were bunk beds, which our kids found really fun and enjoyed a lot. The bath was available until 9:30 a.m., so even though we checked in at 11:30 p.m., we could relax and enjoy it. The water had a slightly salty quality and the temperature was just right—excellent overall. Breakfast focused on organic ingredients and was served buffet-style; everything was delicious. We hadn’t heard of this Hotel before, but it was clean and very nice. We’d definitely like to stay again if we have the chance.

It was my first time staying here, and it was very convenient thanks to the location near JR Kamata Station and the free Shuttle Service to Haneda Airport. There were no issues, but there were no disposable in-room slippers; instead, there were large rubber slippers, which felt a bit too big for women. The driver on the bus to Haneda Airport provided excellent service. Thank you very much. I would like to stay here again in the future.
