We stayed here as a couple this time. Rather than just a place to stay, it felt like a place to reset ourselves. Without trying, we spent less time on our phones—relaxing on the balcony while listening to birds and the wind, soaking in the bath, making tea, and simply taking it slow. Just that was enough to make my mind surprisingly clear. It’s also a resort with easy access to the lakeside (about a 5-minute walk), offering a variety of nature experiences. What impressed us wasn’t luxury Facilities, but how thoughtfully it’s designed so you can truly enjoy doing nothing. By checkout, not only my body but even my mind felt lighter.

We stayed here because we wanted a nearby Hotel to see Shiki Theatre Company and enjoy dining. There were many international guests and some groups, so I expected it might be lively, but the floor we stayed on was very quiet. My two daughters loved the Room’s interior, and they were happy that the amenities were well stocked. I was also very satisfied because I could relax and enjoy reading.

We stay here every year during the Obon holidays. The atmosphere is calm, and everything is thoroughly cleaned, so it feels like coming back home (to my parents’ house). It’s truly relaxing. Thank you again for this year as well. We were able to do everything we had planned, right on schedule. There are popular roadside stations and beaches nearby, so the area gets crowded at this time of year, but Mihama House and its surroundings are very quiet and soothing. We could really unwind from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to staying again next year.

We stayed as a family and had a wonderful time. The heated pool was especially fantastic, allowing the kids to play without worrying about the weather. We were also very pleased with the BBQ dinner, which required no preparation and could be enjoyed hands-free. The ingredients were delicious, and we had a great time together. We would love to stay again!

I stayed here the night before climbing Mt. Fuji. I considered a Hotel, but made a Reservation because the price was reasonable and breakfast and dinner were included. It was a comfortable place to relax, and the meals were delicious—I was very satisfied. Thank you very much for accommodating my preferred breakfast time on the morning of my climb. I would love to stay again.

My siblings live in different prefectures, so we used this place as an opportunity for the whole family to get together. There were 12 of us—my sister’s family with two dogs, my brother’s family with children, my spouse and I, my parents, and my grandmother—so we booked two buildings. There was a large long table, and extra chairs were kept in the bedroom, so everyone could sit together in one building and enjoy meals as a group. (There was also a chair for small children.) The space is very spacious, so even when we all gathered it never felt cramped. There’s also a sofa area where everyone could relax however they liked. The warmth of the wood made it feel truly wonderful. We were also very grateful that we could message to arrange check-in this time. It was convenient to pay the Accommodation Tax and pet fee via PayPay using the provided QR code. Even though the kids got very excited and had lots of fun, it’s a private space so we felt comfortable staying there without worry. For bathing, we used the Onsen at a nearby Ryokan within walking distance. The Onsen lovers in our family even went again in the morning. If you bring your own ingredients, everything else is provided—tableware and appliances—so it was incredibly helpful. There was also a rice cooker so we could cook rice easily, which we really appreciated. Inside the Room there was also an iron plate and grill net for yakiniku-style BBQ, which made the meat taste even better. There is also a locked dog run on site, which is great for guests with pets. The price was very reasonable—thank you so much for letting us stay in such a wonderful place. We would love to stay again.

We ended up staying an extra two nights after the Nagaoka Fireworks. The location is very convenient for street food in Teradomari, fishing at the fishing port, and nearby beaches. The Facility itself is new and clean. The parking instructions were a bit hard to understand, but there is also parking in front of the Facility, and it seems fine to park there. The bath is not an Onsen, but if you look around, there are plenty of hot springs nearby. Highly recommended for international guests as well. We would love to stay again!

I was thrilled to be upgraded to a Room where I could fish right from the room—it was like a dream come true! The sashimi with the meal was also very fresh, and we were completely satisfied with this Accommodation!

We were very satisfied last time, so we decided to stay again with everyone. This time, being summer, we also enjoyed the pool. The BBQ facility, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, shower booth, user-friendly kitchen, and spacious living room were all perfect. As I mentioned before, I personally love the fluffy beds and soft waffle blankets as well as the smooth shampoo and conditioner. The BBQ meat set was clean and delicious. However, most of us are not big eaters except for two people in our group; unfortunately, we couldn’t finish it all despite its luxurious presentation. I wanted to eat leafy vegetables but refrained since they were placed between raw meats in the set. It would be nice if there was an option to prepare a separate salad instead! Everything tasted great overall. For breakfast the next morning: leftover grilled meat from dinner turned into rice balls or French toast; mountain bread topped with potatoes, bacon slices or boiled eggs along melted cheese made up our menu ideas—but without an open toaster available (only microwave), achieving crisp results proved challenging—having one handy could make things super convenient though cleaning might become harder? At night-time viewing Akashi Kaikyo Bridge’s changing light colors felt stunningly beautiful! This trip added more fun memories shared among family members once again—we look forward eagerly returning someday soon!

We had a truly wonderful stay. Our previous appointment ran late and we didn’t make it in time for dinner, but they kindly extended the serving time at the last minute. The soup curry with plenty of fresh vegetables was delicious. They were also very helpful every time we called, and even phoned to check on us when they were worried about our delayed arrival—it was such a warm and thoughtful experience. The Hotel is shoes-off throughout (in a good way), so there are no slippers; instead, tabi socks are provided in the room. Walking around in them made it feel like a big home, and it was more comfortable than wearing shoes or slippers. The bed was also extremely comfortable! Above all, the staff’s kindness and hospitality stood out the most. It’s a wonderful Hotel. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. They seemed short-staffed, but I truly hope this Hotel continues for many years to come.

We stayed in the largest building (01) with 4 adults and 2 children. The bathroom was spacious, including the washing area, which was very convenient. The jacuzzi was relaxing and helped relieve fatigue. There was only one set of bath salts and lotion provided, so bringing our own turned out to be a good idea. For dinner, we enjoyed a barbecue with plenty of meat but fewer vegetables. The sauce was delicious, and everyone used it generously—almost running out! If you eat a lot, bringing extras like sausages might be helpful. We brought some salads this time, which made for just the right amount of food. The grill had weak heat and seemed designed to be used with the lid closed. The gaps in the grill mesh were large enough that smaller pieces of meat fell through, so we ended up using an iron plate for cooking instead—resulting in more steamed dishes than grilled ones. Next time, we'll bring finer mesh for grilling. Breakfast included about 10 varieties of savory and sweet bread rolls (two pieces each). All were delicious and there was plenty to go around! Bringing kitchen scissors would allow everyone to share small portions and try different types more easily. One child in our group is picky about food; we realized afterward that requesting simple options like plain rolls or croissants would have been better. Overall, everyone had a great time—we were very satisfied! We couldn't hear any noise from neighboring buildings despite having kids who got quite loud at times; it felt nice not having to worry about disturbing others or being disturbed ourselves. Having toilets on both floors (1st & 2nd) was also very convenient. We’d love to stay here again!

Thank you very much for letting us stay. It was a spacious, large house, and the children were thrilled and delighted. The Accommodation was cozy, with paintings and other works displayed by an artist who seems to be from Hokkaido. There were plenty of amenities such as a rice cooker, pots, tableware, and a microwave, and we wished we could have stayed for several days instead of just one night. By chance we had brought a large durian with us, and thanks to the cooking utensils provided we were able to prepare and enjoy it without any trouble—something that probably wouldn’t have been possible at a typical Hotel. There don’t seem to be any shops nearby, but there is a supermarket and convenience store just a few minutes away by car, so it’s not an issue if you’re driving.

With tasteful interior design and attentive hospitality, it felt special yet as relaxing as being at home, and we had a truly comfortable stay. They even floated large citrus fruits in the bath, and the wonderful fragrance was so soothing. Our child loved it too. All essential amenities were provided. Dinner was clearly prepared with great care, dish by dish, and the flavors were exactly to our liking! The beer was perfectly ice-cold, and we still find ourselves saying, “I want that beer again.” The tableware was beautiful—just looking at it was delightful and made our conversation even more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious across the board, but the Saikyo-yaki in particular was so tender that we couldn’t stop eating rice. My husband especially liked the atsuage tofu and said, “I’ve never had atsuage this good before.” After breakfast, we relaxed together over coffee served in stylish cups and enjoyed a slow pace for the first time in a while. We visited with my parents-in-law, and they were very happy as well. You can truly feel their spirit of hospitality—it’s easy to see why so many guests return. If we have another chance to visit Shizuoka, we would love to stay again. Finding such a wonderful Accommodation made this trip unforgettable. Thank you very much.

From the Room guidance to dinner and breakfast, and even the Onsen and sauna, we were able to spend a very relaxing time. We could also feel the thoughtful care of all the staff, which allowed us to truly unwind. If we have another opportunity, we would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

It’s a small Accommodation, but the Room had an open-air bath, and the futon was wonderfully fluffy. The food was also very delicious. Our attendant was from Malaysia, and her smile was lovely—she served us wholeheartedly. Thank you very much. What concerned me was that the dishes were served a little slowly; my husband, after having some drinks, fell asleep halfway through. Also, since there are only private baths and the in-room open-air bath (no large public bath), we found ourselves watching the time when going to use the private bath. I deducted points for those reasons, but it was an Accommodation where we could relax at a leisurely pace.

The Facility itself feels a bit dated, but the meals were delicious, with many dishes featuring seasonal local ingredients. The Onsen water was also excellent, and the Room had a reliable internet connection. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Stayed during a solo motorcycle touring trip and had the chance to use a cool garage. After watching the sunset in Omaezaki, I arrived just as a large group from a baseball team was checking in. Exhausted from riding all day, I headed to the Onsen before dinner but found it too crowded and decided to skip it. Dinner was enjoyed at the dining hall with beer on the side. Later, when the group went for their meal, I visited the Onsen again and found it empty—though not very spacious, it was comfortable and helped relieve my fatigue. The breakfast served in the morning truly felt like an authentic inn-style meal and was delicious. The hospitality was excellent as well. I’d love to stay here again when touring nearby!

It was my first time staying in a Room where the air conditioning was so strong that I thought, “It’s cold!” right after check-in. The cooling worked very well, so I’d like to come again in summer. The location was also great, with an entertainment district nearby. However, you can hear conversations from the hallway fairly clearly, so it may not be suitable for light sleepers or those sensitive to noise.

Although the building is very old, everything was thoroughly cleaned throughout, and I had a very pleasant stay. All of the staff were so polite it almost made me feel bad. There are also staff members who speak excellent English, so international guests should have no trouble. The meals were generous—perhaps a slightly smaller Plan could be offered as well. The open-air bath, the large public bath, and the in-Room bath (a bit small) all had wonderful water quality. I stayed for two nights from Friday, and quite often it felt like we had the baths to ourselves. For international guests, there seemed to be some confusion about where to take off slippers and how to use the small towel. If you could provide explanations not only in words but also with simple illustrations and written instructions, I think everyone could enjoy bathing more comfortably (for example: dry your body before returning to the changing area—sometimes the floor ends up quite wet). It’s about a 10-minute walk from the station, very quiet, and perfect for relaxing. This is a Ryokan I would like to visit again to support them going forward. On departure they kindly prepared to drive me to the station, but since I still had time before my train I decided to walk instead—and I was surprised when they even apologized for that. Everyone was truly kind. Lastly, the attendant in charge of my Room was friendly and helpful, leaving me with an excellent overall impression. Thank you very much for taking care of me.

I stayed at Kuroshio for the first time through a friend's recommendation. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality of the owner and staff. The crab hot pot dinner was incredibly delicious. This is a Ryokan I would love to visit again next year.
