We enjoyed a “staycation,” with lounge hopping across four lounges as the main highlight. First, we walked from Shinagawa Station to the Hotel, but IKYU’s directions said “cross Daiichi Keihan…,” so we crossed the signal right after exiting the Takanawa Exit. However, the route to the right after crossing was blocked due to construction, so we had to turn back. After exiting the Takanawa Exit, it’s best to turn right and walk along Daiichi Keihan, then turn left at the first traffic light onto Sakura-zaka. Alternatively, since it’s a continuous uphill slope, I think taking the shuttle bus would be a good option. We visited all four lounges, and as expected, Hana-Kouro’s lounge was the most relaxing; the drinks were also of higher quality and excellent. The champagne during cocktail time—and Dassai—was a real treat. We also enjoyed tasting different sake. There were some light bites during cocktail time, but it would have been even better if there had been additional hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast was delicious as well. It was our first time trying a matcha grinding experience, and we really enjoyed it. At the lounge, the staff maintained just the right level of attentiveness throughout without being intrusive, which made it very comfortable. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. I visited by car with my husband and son on our first family trip in a while. We were delighted by the elegant lobby and lounge, beautifully decorated with flowers and furnishings, and by the stunning view of the cove from the windows. The cave-style bath we had been looking forward to, as well as the panoramic bath, were wonderfully relaxing, with silky-smooth water as we enjoyed the scenery. For dinner, we had an exquisite kaiseki course in a private dining room. We chose sashimi made from locally caught fish of the day, and every dish was outstanding—beautifully presented with impressive table settings. We also enjoyed freshly grilled fugu prepared right in front of us, along with a sake tasting. After dinner, we played darts, enjoyed wine at the bar, and went back to the baths—making the most of our stay. Our Room also had a fantastic view, and we were able to truly unwind. This is an unforgettable Accommodation that I would love to visit again.

We stayed here with our family again after a long time, and we felt the service had improved even more. All the staff were very courteous, and we were truly happy that they remembered our previous stay. The meals were excellent—not only dinner, but especially breakfast, which offered an impressive variety and was delicious. We were also surprised to see the owner personally serving guests at breakfast. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again. Highly recommended!!

Four women stayed in a Japanese-Western style room—ocean view!! We relaxed on the spacious sofa, and our conversation really flowed. Above all, the meals were outstanding. Every dish in the creative dinner was simply “Delicious!” Breakfast was a perfect 100, too! The front desk’s attentiveness and the restaurant’s serving timing were also flawless.

We visited for the meals and the Onsen. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The French toast at breakfast was especially outstanding! The Cold Stone ice cream was also very tasty. Since we went on a weekday, there were many older guests, and the Hotel was very quiet. The Hotel staff were kind, and we had a very comfortable stay. They also had board games, so we’d like to come again with our family. Thank you very much.

I stayed at this Accommodation as a well-deserved solo getaway to escape the daily routine of housework and childcare. It was my first time trying an order-style buffet, and it brought me far more happiness than I ever imagined. Since I usually focus on my child’s meals and put my own last, I think it was a bit of a rebound—I happily kept eating for about 2.5 hours, refilling my favorite appetizers whenever I wanted, and going back for dessert again and again… It was an experience you simply can’t have with a set course meal. As an adult, you really do “taste with your eyes” too: having dishes beautifully plated right in front of me at the counter with perfectly matched herbs gave me a different kind of satisfaction from an ordinary buffet. Even though I thought I might feel overly full, there were plenty of vegetables as well, so by the next morning I had a good appetite again—and went back for seconds once more. The soup was especially delicious! Because the Accommodation clearly puts so much effort into the dining experience, other aspects of service felt fairly simple by comparison. The bath facilities were great: high-quality Onsen water and a spacious public bath, plus an open-air bath in the public area that I really enjoyed. Personally, the Onsen felt good enough that I didn’t feel strongly about needing a private open-air bath. One thing: since there is also a sauna in the public bath area, I would have loved to have a water dispenser near the changing room. As this is an all-inclusive Accommodation, I hope to see that added in the future. I’d also like to visit other properties in the Ichinobo Group someday. Thank you very much.

The blend of nature and luxury was wonderful. I loved taking my time in the sauna, and the wood-burning stove was truly soothing. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. I’ll definitely be back.

We stayed to celebrate the youngest of our three sons’ birthday—this was about our fifth visit. The room has evolved into a family room, and with the slide, swing, and bouldering wall, they played nonstop. All three were very happy and said they want to come again and stay again. Thank you as well to K for taking such great care of us during our meals—it made the memories even more special. Next time, we’d love to visit for our second son’s birthday. Thank you in advance.

Although this is a historic Onsen Ryokan, the property is impeccably maintained throughout, and we felt thoughtful attention to detail and quality in every corner. Our family of four enjoyed a truly wonderful stay with dinner and breakfast included. Above all, the Room was fantastic! It was very spacious, with plenty of room for each of us to relax comfortably, while also being perfect for gathering together as a family to chat and enjoy tea and sweets. The in-room beverages were also well stocked—the coffee and tea were excellent—and of course the private open-air bath in the guest room was amazing. We had both dinner and breakfast in a private dining room. The staff member who took care of us was highly professional and kind; everything from the timing of each course to the explanations of every dish and overall service was flawless, allowing us to enjoy our meals comfortably from start to finish. And finally, the greatest highlight here is definitely the Onsen! There are many different types of baths on site—so many that we seriously discussed “the best order” to try them all (laughs)! We were so busy enjoying the Onsen that we didn’t have time to relax with drinks in the lounge. That just gives us an excuse to come back. In short, our family of four thoroughly enjoyed this stay with dinner and breakfast included. The Room, cuisine, service, and Onsen—all exceeded our expectations. This Accommodation comes highly recommended for anyone who loves hot springs or wants a relaxing time at an Onsen Ryokan. We would love to stay again!

The location with a panoramic ocean view was absolutely amazing! The Facility was very clean, and we were able to relax in a stylish space. The staff were courteous and attentive to every detail, making our stay truly pleasant. The BBQ facilities, sauna, jacuzzi, and pool were all well equipped, letting you fully enjoy an extraordinary getaway. This is a wonderful Accommodation I can confidently recommend to anyone—families, friends, or couples alike. I would definitely love to stay here again!

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. On the second day, our beloved dog suddenly passed away. As a senior dog, we had prepared for the possibility, but it happened so unexpectedly that we had not brought items such as ice packs for bringing him home. The Hotel kindly provided a basket to lay him to rest in, towels, ice packs, and a blanket. We had reserved dinner at the restaurant as well, but thanks to the staff’s thoughtful consideration, they arranged a private room for us. Because there was a thunderstorm, they also drove us to the dining venue by car, allowing us to enjoy one last meal slowly with him by our side. We are truly sorry for any trouble we caused during the busy summer holiday season. Thanks to your support, we were able to return home safely and send him off peacefully. This year’s extreme heat was especially hard on senior dogs, but we are very grateful that he was able to spend his final moments in the cool Nasu Highlands—enjoying his favorite dog run, Onsen time, and delicious meals. This was our first stay here, and I feel it is rare to find a Hotel that can respond so quickly and compassionately in an emergency. We still have two other dogs at home and would love to visit again. Of course, both the meals and the Facility were excellent as well. Thank you very much for all your help during our stay.

We were very satisfied with the meals. Everything we had for dinner was delicious. For breakfast, you can grill freshly dried horse mackerel at your table on a tabletop stove. The eggs were cooked on a ceramic hot plate, and we could choose between fried eggs or scrambled eggs to suit our preference. You can also have refills of rice. It was very windy so we only spent about two hours at the beach, but since the large public bath is available even after check-out, you can freshen up before heading home. The facilities were also kept clean and well maintained. For those who smoke, there is a smoking room in the building. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

I keep coming back again and again because I look forward to the meals. Every dish reflects the chef’s dedication—beautiful to look at, delicious to eat, truly outstanding. Both breakfast and dinner offer a wide variety of handmade dishes, all of them excellent. As there are stairs throughout the property, it may be difficult for elderly guests or anyone with mobility concerns.

The “Small-portion Gourmet Kaiseki” was just the right amount for seniors, and over our two-night stay the dinner was excellent in terms of ingredients, preparation, and seasoning. The breakfast also offered a variety of small dishes, and we were very satisfied from the morning with both dried fish and sashimi. The Onsen, Facility, and Room were clean and well maintained, and the staff were extremely attentive throughout our two-night stay. True to its name, it provided a five-star experience and made our trip to Izu a wonderful one.

We were very satisfied to have stayed at such a wonderful Hotel. The meals and the services for children were excellent as well. Regarding the title: we used the coin laundry, and while we were rushing around because our children are still small, we realized that we had accidentally put a smartphone into the washing machine. When I panicked and called the extension, a staff member responded kindly and carefully, for which we are truly grateful. I wanted to confirm their name and thank them at check-out, but I forgot to ask. So I am writing it here instead. This is a Hotel we would like to stay at again next year. Thank you very much.

The Seto Ohashi Bridge looked beautiful from both the Room and the scenic open-air bath, and the view was amazing! The meals weren’t served on large shared platters; each dish came in its own small bowl, all carefully prepared and truly delicious. We made a Reservation because we were looking for an all-inclusive Accommodation, and everything—the food, drinks, baths, service, and views—was outstanding. We would love to come again with our family.

Both the dinner and the Onsen were excellent! The grilled abalone was delicious. The food was outstanding, with even more dishes than shown in the photos—everything was wonderful. The Onsen water had a silky texture and left my skin feeling smooth. Many of the staff were from overseas, but their service was polite and attentive. Next time, I’d like to bring my grandchildren.

The entrance has a pleasant fragrance. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a sense of cleanliness. The lodge is available for accommodation even if you are not an Exiv member, and the spa and morning services are shared, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious atmosphere. The Japanese-style breakfast was particularly excellent.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our 5-night trip to Hakodate. We had some concerns about bears, but the Reviews were good and there were plenty of things for kids to enjoy, such as the pool, so we decided to stay here for the first time. Because the Accommodation Fee was a great deal, we didn’t expect much, but we were amazed by how high the food quality was. We stayed two nights and dinner was different each night; the sashimi was fresh, the tempura was just as good as at a specialty tempura restaurant, and it felt like they use high-quality ingredients overall. We take family trips about five times a year, and this was by far the best value Accommodation we’ve ever stayed at. The view from our Room is also great, and if you have a rental car it’s about 40 minutes to sightseeing in Hakodate or cycling at Onuma Park—so you can enjoy a different kind of Hakodate trip from most people. We also stayed at popular Hotels in Hakodate city and Yunokawa Onsen, but even our child (5th grade) said this place was the best.

This was my first stay, and just as everyone says, the meals were outstanding. I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but this was the most delicious by far. It wasn’t just tasty—the menu was exciting too, and I truly looked forward to mealtimes. Personally, I was especially impressed by how delicious the sautéed splendid alfonsino was. The Room was also very clean and comfortable. In addition, the location offers great access to everywhere, making sightseeing easy and convenient. When I visit Izu again someday, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much.
