We stayed here two years ago and returned this time with two dogs and three family members, and once again everything was outstanding. The Room, garden, and pool were as spotless as if they were brand new—just as beautifully maintained as before. We were allowed to enter before check-in time, and the owner welcomed us warmly with a smile, saying “Welcome back.” Our dogs were thrilled from the moment we arrived—running around the garden in excitement and jumping into the pool right away. Last time we requested a barbecue, which came with plenty of local vegetables and premium steak, and breakfast was a generous menu featuring delicious eggs. This time we chose not to order meals because we wanted to try different restaurants nearby, so we walked to a place close by for fresh oysters and seafood rice bowls. The rock oysters were especially delicious, and my husband and daughter loved them. We also visited dog-friendly cafés and a seafood grill restaurant. There are supermarkets and many dining options nearby, which is very convenient. In the mornings and evenings we walked with our dogs to Kujukuri Beach; the wide sky and shoreline felt incredibly refreshing. We have stayed at other villas and Hotels, but this place is still the best. Pools where you can swim together with your dogs are rare, so we truly appreciate it—and we’re very grateful to the owner. The amenities are well stocked (including a washing machine and cooking utensils), cleanliness is exceptional, and everything is well managed—so even guests without dogs should be able to enjoy a wonderful holiday here. While relaxing by the illuminated pool at night, we decided to have some wine from the wine cellar—it was excellent. We had such a comfortable stay with our dogs during these two fulfilling nights that left us feeling refreshed. Thank you very much.

We stayed with two adults and two dogs. On the way there, our navigation system guided us on a detour and we arrived via a very narrow road, but after the staff explained the route, we found that if you exit onto the road right in front, you’re immediately on a main road and it’s very close to the Awaji Interchange—an excellent location. Our dogs had a great time running around both in the shared dog run Room and in the run. The complimentary drinks at the shared run were much appreciated. For dinner at Genpei, the anago (conger eel) hot pot and sashimi were outstanding, with generous portions—absolutely delicious (lol). In summer, most vacation rentals have lots of insects, but there were very few this time, which was great. Proper insect control measures are clearly in place. The staff were also wonderful and kindly helped us throughout—thank you very much. We’ll definitely come back again.

This was my second stay, and the amenities are well stocked—above all, the view is amazing. The sea is nearby, and morning walks with my dog were the best. The Room was spacious and clean. The dog run was also well maintained, so I felt comfortable letting my dog play there. Next time, I’d like to stay for about two nights and relax at a slower pace. Thank you very much.

Last year, when our whole family gathered for a homecoming, we stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The meals and the Facility were excellent, and above all, the warm hospitality from the proprietress and all the staff was outstanding. We were able to spend truly memorable time with my elderly mother and uncle, our dog, and the children. We stayed in two types of Rooms: two family groups in pet-friendly Rooms, and my mother’s group in a Japanese-style Room with an open-air bath. Both Rooms were spotless, well stocked with amenities, and very comfortable. For dinner, we enjoyed Saga beef at a relaxed pace with in-room dining. The Onsen was also incredibly soothing—soft water typical of Furu-yu, pleasantly lukewarm at body temperature—along with a sauna with great views. We used to enjoy trying different places each year, but everyone agreed to return to Suginoya again this year. We would love to come back again next year as well. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

We chose this Accommodation because of the wonderful photos and great Reviews. We were more than satisfied with the owner’s even better hospitality and the comfortable space! Our two dogs also seemed to feel at ease, and they were able to relax from the first day. When we visit Nagasaki again, we would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

We stayed here on a trip with a family we know, and it was wonderful as always. We’ve stayed several times, so both my wife and I can relax with peace of mind—this is our favorite hot spring Accommodation. The family staying with us was also very satisfied, making it the perfect vacation. Since one of our group had difficulty walking, we truly appreciate you accommodating our various requests. We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath overlooking the ocean under the fireworks festival Plan. The staff were very attentive, the food was delicious, and we fully enjoyed the many private open-air baths. There is also a beach and a park nearby, so our children had a great time. We would love to stay again.

We enjoyed an elegant time as a couple with our pet. The Accommodation Fee was higher because we brought our pet, but staying at the Hotel we had long dreamed of was wonderful, and we made truly happy memories. The Room had an open-air bath and a bathing tub for dogs; we filled it with five buckets of Onsen water, and our pet looked warm and very comfortable. Before going to bed, we soaked once more in the Room’s open-air bath while watching a subtitled foreign film on the Room’s TV through the glass window, enjoying a refined escape from everyday life. We also loved the Japanese cuisine, and both of us were very satisfied. We hope to visit again someday, and next time we would love to stay in the main building where pets are not allowed. Thank you very much for all your thoughtful care during this trip.

This was my fourth stay. This place is exceptionally well-equipped for dogs, and everything is comfortable. When it comes to Facilities where you can stay with your dog, owners often have to compromise on something, but here both the meals and the baths were completely satisfying. The Hotel staff are kind, and it’s simply a very welcoming place. We stayed during the Obon holiday period, but it was wonderfully cool, and our dog—who had been worn out by the summer heat of over 35°C every day—was full of energy again. It’s truly an ideal summer retreat.

On August 3, the annual Iyo-Ozu Hijikawa Fireworks Festival is held, so I made a Reservation for a Room with a close-up view of Ozu Castle. In the early evening, we finished dinner at the Hotel’s French restaurant “Le Un,” then returned to our cool, air-conditioned Room and waited excitedly for the fireworks to begin, sipping wine while admiring the illuminated Ozu Castle. Ozu is known as “Little Kyoto,” and in summer the basin heat and humidity linger even at night. But because of this terrain, the sound of the fireworks echoes off the surrounding mountains into a tremendous roar—more powerful than any fireworks I’ve ever experienced. This time I discovered a new style of Hotel created by renovating historic traditional houses scattered throughout Ozu, making it a truly meaningful summer trip.

We stayed in Building D, which is pet-friendly. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. There’s honestly nothing to criticize, so here are a few tips to help you enjoy your stay even more. Jacuzzi / Open-air bath / Pool: 　Bringing a swimsuit is recommended. Stink bugs (currently a large outbreak): 　It’s helpful to bring sticky tape for removal. Bakery: 　There’s a great bakery nearby. Amenities: 　High-quality POLA amenities are provided, so you only need to bring the basics. To fully enjoy it: 　You’ll probably want to stay two nights. Appliances: 　Most appliances are available, but there doesn’t seem to be an air fryer (probably). Shirarahama Beach: 　It’s just under 2 km away—slightly far. Dogs aren’t allowed on Shirarahama Beach, which is disappointing, but the beauty of the beach is amazing.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. On the second day, our beloved dog suddenly passed away. As a senior dog, we had prepared for the possibility, but it happened so unexpectedly that we had not brought items such as ice packs for bringing him home. The Hotel kindly provided a basket to lay him to rest in, towels, ice packs, and a blanket. We had reserved dinner at the restaurant as well, but thanks to the staff’s thoughtful consideration, they arranged a private room for us. Because there was a thunderstorm, they also drove us to the dining venue by car, allowing us to enjoy one last meal slowly with him by our side. We are truly sorry for any trouble we caused during the busy summer holiday season. Thanks to your support, we were able to return home safely and send him off peacefully. This year’s extreme heat was especially hard on senior dogs, but we are very grateful that he was able to spend his final moments in the cool Nasu Highlands—enjoying his favorite dog run, Onsen time, and delicious meals. This was our first stay here, and I feel it is rare to find a Hotel that can respond so quickly and compassionately in an emergency. We still have two other dogs at home and would love to visit again. Of course, both the meals and the Facility were excellent as well. Thank you very much for all your help during our stay.

This was my first stay. Since there is no toilet, I rated the Facility 4, but the main house is nearby so it wasn’t much of an issue. The dome tent was comfortable, and even the heavy rain from a linear precipitation band didn’t bother us at all. The furnishings such as the chairs and lamps were lovely, the meals were delicious, and we were able to relax with our dog. All of the staff were always smiling and responded politely. Afterward, I contacted you because I had forgotten my hat, and you handled it right away. I’d love to visit again.

Tamba-Sasayama shows many different sides with each season, and it feels like a wonderful town no matter how many times you visit. Among them, staying at NIPPONIA in the heart of Kawaramachi Street makes for a truly special experience. Breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes. The locally grown Dekansho rice and the miso soup made with black soybean miso were especially delicious.

We stayed for one night with my daughter’s family, our grandchildren, and our Chihuahua. The Room was clean and spacious, and the kids and our Chihuahua were running around happily!! We were very satisfied to enjoy a BBQ on the covered terrace without worrying about the weather. Breakfast arrived warm in the delivery box, so we could eat right away—and it was delicious! The bathroom was also spacious, and we all enjoyed it together. Unfortunately, it rained so we couldn’t use the dog run, but we’d love to come back and try again! We’ll definitely stay again as a family.

I had been wanting to stay here for a long time, and my wish finally came true. I was very satisfied with the Onsen and the breakfast and dinner served in semi-private dining areas. If I had to mention something, the parking lot was far away and there were only stairs, so getting around was a bit difficult. Above all, I truly admired the staff’s warm and courteous service.

We stayed with our dog. It was our first time here, and we were so satisfied that we made a Reservation for next year during our stay. There is no Onsen, but the Room was spacious and very clean. The sukiyaki dinner on the first night was outstanding, and it was a new way of eating it for us. We stayed two nights, and we were truly impressed that on the second night not only the main dish but everything from the appetizers onward was a completely different menu. All of the staff were friendly, and we had a very comfortable stay. We look forward to coming back next year.

This was our second stay with our rescued dog. This time, there was a pool set up in the dog park, and our dog tried swimming for the first time. Surprisingly, they swam well and looked like they were having a great time. Playing in the spacious dog park always makes them look so happy, and we’re really glad we came.\nWe chose the reasonably priced Standard Cottage this time, so we expected some age, but there was a very strong dusty (moldy?) smell, which was a bit of a downside. The place was cleaned properly, but there’s only so much you can do about an older building.\nStill, our dog looked so happy that we’ll probably stay again!

Stayed in a cottage with dinner and breakfast included. The cottage was spacious and very relaxing. I initially worried that relying on the Shuttle Service to the restaurant and Onsen Facility might feel restrictive, but it was completely stress-free. Whenever we needed anything, they picked us up in about five minutes, which actually added to the sense of luxury. The staff provided top-tier service throughout, including in the restaurant. Room service was also available, and anything we needed was delivered promptly. When Wi-Fi didn’t connect, they quickly brought a pocket Wi-Fi. The lamb BBQ course dinner featured exceptionally tender meat with a great variety of cuts. The food—both dinner and breakfast—was outstanding in quality and flavor, far beyond expectations. The drink selection was excellent as well; I especially enjoyed being able to try local wines. As it’s attached to a prestigious golf course, the buildings—including the clubhouse—are beautifully appointed and worth appreciating from an architectural perspective too. The biggest pleasant surprise was that the Onsen is free-flowing natural spring water with no added water—it truly warmed me through. There’s also a proper sauna. If it hadn’t been such heavy rain, I would have loved to take a walk through the woods. I also wish I could have tried feeding logs into the stove (not possible in summer). Those are my only regrets.

I had stayed at Kinkonko several times before, and after it became Regina Resort, we chose to stay again—especially as it coincided with our younger child’s birthday. It was an even better stay than I imagined; the time spent with our dog felt truly special. Just as rumored, the consistently dog-first hospitality warmed our hearts throughout the trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with smiles and greeted us by name, and our dog immediately relaxed. The Room and shared spaces were exceptionally well stocked with amenities for dogs, and their thoughtful attention to detail really stood out. A surprise that made us especially happy During our stay, I casually mentioned in conversation that our dog’s birthday was coming up—and to my surprise, they quickly prepared a birthday cake as a special treat. I was amazed by such a wonderful gesture, and having the staff celebrate together with us filled my heart. Seeing our dog happily enjoying the cake became an unforgettable memory. Surrounded by Yufuin’s beautiful nature, this is truly a dream-like Accommodation where both dogs and owners can relax without any hesitation. It was an outstanding Accommodation that I would wholeheartedly recommend for important anniversaries or creating special memories with your dog. We definitely want to come back again! We have stayed at many pet-friendly Accommodations before, but Regina Resort Yufuin was the most satisfying in every way. Next time, we hope to stay in “Kakoi,” the new annex.
