We were worried about the typhoon forecast, but luckily it cleared up and we were able to swim in the sea. The Goemon bath after fully enjoying the ocean was absolutely amazing!! It was a truly luxurious time that made us forget everyday life. At night, we could also see a beautiful starry sky, and our whole family made wonderful memories together. It was such an incredible day that we even said as a family, “Let’s definitely come back here next year!”!! We’re glad we chose a Multiple Night Stay with plenty of time. We visited to enjoy Kasumi crab. The tagged crab was larger and fresher than we expected, and both the quality and quantity were excellent. The staff were cheerful and very pleasant, and they explained Kasumi crab in detail, so we had a comfortable stay. We would love to visit again if we have the chance.

It was a wonderful Accommodation with thoughtful attention to detail. You can see Mount Rishiri from the Onsen and the dining area, and the view is magnificent. Beautiful flowers were arranged throughout the building, and we could feel the careful hospitality in every corner. The meals were delicious, and we are glad we stayed at Hanarebun. I stayed here with my daughter for a birthday trip. Just as the Reviews said, each dish was carefully prepared—everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and we were truly satisfied. The welcome sweets in our Room and the dessert pudding were also handmade by the chef and unbelievably good. The semi-open-air bath in our Room was wonderfully relaxing, with a proper washing area, so we could easily enjoy the Onsen again and again. The original shampoo and conditioner were so good I wanted to buy them to take home. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept soundly until morning. Above all, I was deeply impressed by the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was warm and attentive, and thanks to their heartfelt service we had such a pleasant stay. With their wonderful smiles and thoughtfulness, we were able to spend an unforgettable birthday—it was an incredibly satisfying trip. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

Last summer, after renting a nearby vacation home and visiting Morito Beach, we discovered SCAPES THE SUITE. We made a Reservation because we were drawn to the easy beach access and the property’s atmosphere, and we had been looking forward to our stay. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy the sea with our family, including our two young daughters. We used the pick-up and drop-off service from Zushi Station, and being greeted by a classic Cedric taxi instantly set a resort mood. We arrived a little early and planned to wait in the lobby, but perhaps because of my IKYU Diamond membership, we were shown to our Room right away. It was the twin “Mandarin Orange.” It felt more spacious than expected, with the Shonan sea right in front of us and Enoshima clearly visible at all times. Due to the weather we only caught a faint glimpse of Mt. Fuji for a moment, but having the ocean always in view was truly soothing. After the concierge kindly showed us around the Room, they helped arrange our one-hour private jacuzzi time (per Room) as well as breakfast time. We were worried about an approaching typhoon, but fortunately it took a course that didn’t affect us much—so we even enjoyed occasional sunshine. Our daughters’ family was able to swim several times, while we grandparents stayed in the Room caring for our 7-month-old grandchild. It was wonderfully relaxing. With children aged three and zero with us, we ate out for dinner; however, the Hotel restaurant also looked very appealing. This time we only had breakfast and lunch here, but next time we would love to try dinner as well. No matter where you look from within this property—the balcony or even from the jacuzzi—the view of the sea never gets old. That scenery itself felt like your greatest hospitality. We also strongly felt how much everyone working there loves Hayama—and loves this Hotel. The pride and care of both the concierge team and those serving at breakfast/the restaurant really came through. We were also delighted by your gift: Genbei’s famous beach sandals. You coordinated sizes and colors for each family member perfectly—our daughters’ family was thrilled. Finally, after receiving an outstanding carrot dressing as well, we headed home feeling refreshed. Not only in summer but in any season, SCAPES is a place where you can truly relax—and we would love to return again. Thank you very much to everyone at the Hotel.

We visited during Golden Week for a birthday trip. From the warm welcome to the lounge, Room, baths, and meals, everything throughout our stay was wonderful and made it a truly unforgettable trip. The view from the Room was beautiful, and we were able to spend a relaxing, luxurious time. Every dish was genuinely delicious; even though the portions were generous, it was so good that I finished everything for the first time. All of the staff were consistently kind and attentive, which made our entire stay very comfortable. We also went to an outside bath, but it was quite crowded—so much so that we felt completely satisfied with just the Ryokan’s baths. In particular, the in-Room bath had perfect temperature and excellent water quality, and it was incredibly soothing. I’ve been traveling about once every two months for many years, but this is the first Ryokan that truly made me think, “I definitely want to come back.” Next time, I’d love to visit during crab season. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

Surrounded by delicious meals, a free-flowing natural hot spring bath, and adorable cats, I was able to spend a gentle, peaceful time. Thank you very much.

This was my third stay. It was my first time in the “Haruka” cottage, and it was just as comfortable as always. On the day we arrived, we took a walk along the river from the back garden door to Sakuta Beach. It took about 10 minutes to get there. Our senior dog needed to be carried part of the way, but was thrilled once we reached the beach. The Room was clean and comfortable, and the Facility and overall setup reflected wonderful hospitality. The staff were also very kind, making each visit a lovely memory. Thank you very much.

It was an absolutely amazing stay. I was truly impressed by the outstanding, well-equipped Facility that anticipated every need. The staff were very considerate with the luggage we sent in advance, prepared a pool for the children, and even when an accident happened, their first words were to check on us. Talking with friends around the barbecue, setting off fireworks with the kids under the sunset sky, and looking up at the stars late at night—every moment became a wonderful memory. My only regret is that because it was so hot, we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor facilities outside the cottage, such as basketball and the trampoline. We will definitely visit again next year. I visited by car with my husband and son on our first family trip in a while. We were delighted by the elegant lobby and lounge, beautifully decorated with flowers and furnishings, and by the stunning view of the cove from the windows. The cave-style bath we had been looking forward to, as well as the panoramic bath, were wonderfully relaxing, with silky-smooth water as we enjoyed the scenery. For dinner, we had an exquisite kaiseki course in a private dining room. We chose sashimi made from locally caught fish of the day, and every dish was outstanding—beautifully presented with impressive table settings. We also enjoyed freshly grilled fugu prepared right in front of us, along with a sake tasting. After dinner, we played darts, enjoyed wine at the bar, and went back to the baths—making the most of our stay. Our Room also had a fantastic view, and we were able to truly unwind. This is an unforgettable Accommodation that I would love to visit again.

This trip was mainly to visit Ise Grand Shrine, Toba, and Futamiura. I was especially looking forward to visiting Futami Okitama Shrine and seeing the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), so I searched for the Accommodation closest to the shrine and chose “Oishiya.” From the very beginning, I was impressed by the exceptionally courteous and pleasant service. From arriving by taxi through check-in, being shown to my Room, dining, and even the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, everything was handled in such a welcoming way that it made for a truly wonderful trip. To the proprietress, manager, attendants, Shuttle Service driver, and everyone at Oishiya, thank you very much. Dinner was a charcoal-grilled seafood kaiseki course. Starting with appetizers and sashimi, the main dishes featured an abundant selection including abalone, squid, turban shell, other shellfish, and vegetables. Being able to enjoy abalone both grilled and as sashimi made it an especially luxurious meal. The meal was so plentiful that I’m sorry I ended up leaving one dish unfinished. I also appreciate the attendant’s thoughtful consideration regarding dessert. The view of Futami’s sea from the panoramic bath was exceptional—I enjoyed it many times: before dinner, after dinner, and early in the morning. The location of this Accommodation is also perfect for accessing Futami Okitama Shrine. After check-in, after dinner, at sunrise time, and after check-out, I was able to visit a total of four times—it meant so much to me. Every view was wonderful, but the scenery at sunrise was truly unforgettable. Staying at “Oishiya” made this an outstanding trip. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Due to a change of plans, I made a Reservation the day before. It was a rainy day and I arrived early, but I was able to choose a book from the many available and enjoy reading at a relaxed pace with a cup of coffee in hand. The spacious bath, especially the bubble bath, was very soothing. The meals were so plentiful that I couldn’t finish everything. The sunrise the next morning was beautiful. There were also goats and rabbits, and if it were closer, it’s a place where I’d love to bring my dog for a Multiple Night Stay.

My husband and I visit Miyakojima every year. This was our first time staying on Irabu Island, and choosing this Accommodation was absolutely the right decision. We could see the ocean both from the Room and from the bath, and once outside there was a pool. The pool was more than spacious enough for two people, with good depth, and we could reach the beach in seconds. We considered walking to Toguchi Beach as it seemed close enough, but the path is over rough rocks and felt dangerous, so we gave up. At night we enjoyed a sky full of stars by the pool with a drink in hand—this Accommodation let us have everything we wanted without even leaving. There was an extra bedroom next to the bathroom, so we used it to open our suitcases and store our belongings, which allowed us to enjoy the living room, dining area, and main bedroom with plenty of space and great comfort. For meals, there are restaurants just a short drive away, so it never felt inconvenient. We even found some unique places serving mangrove crab and sea turtle dishes. We stayed for three nights this time, but next year we’d like to stay a little longer.

I had the pleasure of staying in the newly renovated “Minna” at Betsuyu. As you’d expect from a Good Design Award winner, the space was so impressive that I couldn’t help but gasp when I entered. The Room was exceptional in every way—its generous size, high ceilings, and luxurious private Onsen, sauna, and wash area created a one-of-a-kind layout. Saunas can sometimes feel enclosed, but being able to enjoy it while looking out at the sea made it truly outstanding. The service was excellent as well, with great Diamond member benefits. From the delicious ohagi welcome sweets to late-night snacks and even bread as a souvenir, everything was more than satisfying. I chose a crab course for dinner that was slightly out of season, so next time I’d like to visit in a different season and enjoy other dishes. There is also a large public bath, but having everything—Onsen, sauna, and cold bath—complete within my own Room made this an incredibly satisfying stay. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I visited this time as a birthday gift for my friend and myself, and it was a truly special place worthy of the occasion. Contemporary art is displayed throughout the property, reflecting the owner’s refined aesthetic and attention to detail. At the same time, the Room and Facility are very simple—nothing unnecessary—making it the perfect environment to savor Awaji Island’s slow, relaxed pace. What left the strongest impression was the cuisine centered around wood-fire cooking. Dinner was French yet wonderfully light, and their commitment to local production for local consumption came through in every dish. The young chef’s creative sensibility was outstanding—especially the sauces! In particular, an abalone liver sauce and a browned-butter sauce served with butterfish were exquisite; I kept dipping bread into them until the very last bite. Dessert was also a new experience: a melon soda made from fermented melon purée brought to a gently sparkling stage! Breakfast was equally superb, featuring enzyme brown rice aged for more than four days. The most moving dish was the clear soup. Even the fermented shrimp-, kelp-, and soy-sauce base used for it was homemade specifically for this meal. Throughout everything, their dedication to ingredients and natural use of fermentation made me feel energized from within. The sauna wasn’t overly hot, so even I—someone who isn’t great with saunas—could enjoy it comfortably, and that deep sense of release afterward felt like true meditation. All staff members were kind and friendly as well, so I felt at ease throughout my stay. Although it was an Accommodation stay, it felt like a retreat. My mind had been busy lately, but this visit helped me return to quietness in both heart and head—and regain my natural strength. It was a genuinely enriching stay.

All Hotel staff were very kind. Also, during dinner at Sanpou Nishimuraya, they explained the ingredients and cooking methods in detail, and we thoroughly enjoyed the seasonal dishes. After checkout, a staff member found an item we had left behind in our Room and kindly delivered it all the way to Kinosaki Onsen Station, which was a great help. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a family to celebrate my and his birthdays. The Room was spacious, and everything—the toilet, bath, beds—was impeccably clean. The open-air bath was also at the perfect temperature, and it was clear it had been thoroughly cleaned. We ordered the BBQ and breakfast! The Awaji beef was excellent quality—tender and absolutely delicious. All the other dishes provided were stylish as well, and each paired perfectly with wine. I wondered if it would be enough… but it was more than enough—we couldn’t finish everything! I debated choosing No Meals Included and bringing our own ingredients, but I’m really glad we ordered the meals. If I had to mention one thing… there weren’t many dishes. In the morning, we planned to enjoy Sora Villa’s special sandwiches with coffee and onion soup, but there were only four mugs, so I wished there had been bowls for soup. In the morning too, we soaked in the open-air bath while listening to the waves rolling in around sunrise, then relaxed on the terrace with drinks and conversation. We were able to spend a truly relaxing and elegant time. Next time, we’d like to bring our dog as well—and visit again together.
