We stayed in a twin room. The Hotel is connected to Shin-Sapporo Station by an indoor passageway, so you can get there without going outside—about a 5-minute walk. There are also stylish restaurants along the way, making it easy to eat and return to the Hotel right away. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the bathroom was spacious and relaxing. Free drinks were available, and the price was affordable, so we were very satisfied.

This was my first stay, and I was highly satisfied with everything. It’s right near the station, so even in the rain it was no problem. On the way back, I used the Shuttle Service bus to Kyoto Station. The Room and the large public bath were clean and easy to use. Breakfast is a satisfying level for a Business Hotel. Both Japanese and Western options are served buffet-style; there aren’t a huge number of items, but it was more than enough. There’s also a convenience store nearby. I usually stay around Shijo Street, but this time I chose based on being close to the station, and it felt like the better choice.

We were welcomed at the entrance, completed a seated check-in, and when we arrived on our Room floor, the lovely aroma (bergamot) made us feel wonderful. Our Room was upgraded for us. The open-air bath in the Room was spacious and very relaxing. The large public bath was also excellent. Dinner was delicious from start to finish. The Shimane wine as an aperitif was so good that we also had a glass of white wine—and the tasting of three local sakes was outstanding. The meal included wagyu simmered in wine, simmered nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch), Shimane wagyu shabu-shabu, and unameshi—all incredibly tasty. I was completely full and thought I could only manage dessert, but I ended up finishing everything. So full! Breakfast was also wonderful—the freshly grilled overnight-dried conger eel was amazing. And my favorite treat, the shijimi clam miso soup, had large clams and a light flavor; it naturally made me let out an “ah,” like something out of Bakébaké-style folklore. All of the staff were polite and kind, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. It turned into a great trip, and we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed with two friends, and everything was perfect—service, meals, and price—we were completely satisfied! The Room was clean and spacious, with the bath and toilet separated. The bathtub was large, and there was even a partition door to the bedroom, making it feel just like home. Breakfast was buffet-style, and everything we ate at the stylish café was delicious. It also came with a Kawagoe Koedo sightseeing 1-day pass, so we enjoyed visiting several shrines and shopping along Koedo Street. Our first trip to Kawagoe became a wonderful memory. This is a Hotel we would definitely stay at again.

My third stay. For me, Ace Hotel Kyoto has become a destination in itself. In addition to the unbeatable convenience of being directly connected to Karasuma Oike Station, I’m always impressed by the staff’s warm smiles, thoughtful attention to every detail, and the remarkable quiet of the Room—so peaceful you don’t hear a single sound. It’s a Hotel that makes me want to stay forever. To all the staff, thank you as always for your heartfelt hospitality. I’ll be back again on my next trip to Kyoto.

This time, we booked a Multiple Night Stay again in the same guest room we stayed in previously: a garden open-air Onsen bath room (15-tatami main room + 4.5-tatami tea room). For impressions of the Room itself, please refer to my comments from last year. First, I’d like to share how wonderful a Multiple Night Stay is. 1) The cuisine is outstanding. As introduced on the website, the monthly menu is crafted into a course using seasonal ingredients of that month, with careful attention to presentation and tableware. That alone is excellent, but the Multiple Night Stay menus are an even more diverse lineup—an explosion of the head chef’s creativity using seasonal ingredients. Both dinner and breakfast feature menus that are almost entirely different from the monthly offerings. Truly worthy of a master artisan. 2) You can enjoy the open-air Onsen freely. Although it’s an in-room open-air Onsen bath, with only one night your time to enjoy it feels limited. With a Multiple Night Stay—especially on the second day—you have much more time for the open-air Onsen and can fully relax and enjoy it. 3) Perfect for sightseeing in Ikaho. With a Multiple Night Stay you need to leave your Room during cleaning, but if you go sightseeing in Ikaho there’s no issue at all. If you head out toward the stone steps street from Fukuichi’s side, you’ll be right below Ikaho Shrine. The shrine is close by, and from there it’s easy to find your way for a round trip to Kajika Bridge as well. The Ikaho Ropeway is also comfortable to reach—it feels like going slightly downhill from the shrine area—and on your way back you can rejoin the stone steps around the middle and enjoy various shops as you walk back up toward Fukuichi. Next, I’d like to express my gratitude for the wonderful service during our stay. The attendant who served us at dinner on our first night was someone who had also taken care of us during our previous visit. In addition to being surprised with having a Multiple Night Stay menu served on day one, she carefully explained each dish as well as three coordinated alcoholic beverages selected for pairing. I’m truly grateful, and I would love to request her again next time. From breakfast on day two onward, our attendant was also serving as Kayokoro’s sommelier. At dinner on day two, when I asked on the spot for sake that would pair well with large turban shell caught off Ito off Izu Peninsula (Daesazae), he recommended Isojiman—an excellent match for the food. He told me he studied hard and earned his sommelier qualification; very impressive indeed. I was also surprised that his name is almost identical to mine; I hope he continues thriving as Kayokoro’s sommelier. We requested Shuttle Service both ways this time, and both drivers provided calm driving along with courteous assistance when getting in and out of the vehicle—thank you very much. After checkout as well, thank you sincerely to staff who continued carrying our heavy luggage and guided us on our way out. This has gotten long, but our Multiple Night Stay at Kayokoro was simply superb—we definitely want another Multiple Night Stay next time too.

After having lunch at a traditional Japanese restaurant on Hakatajima Island along the Shimanami Kaido, I visited two of the extra temples associated with Temple No. 88 before checking in. The display of miniature ship replicas is wonderful—perfect for a shipbuilding town. The bathroom fixtures are also set up to international standards, and it was fun that the faucet handles are reversed. I was also happy to find authentic Chinese cuisine on B1F at reasonable prices for dinner. This is probably my fifth stay here.

Because I was traveling with my elderly mother (in her 80s, with lower back pain), I consulted in advance, and they provided a rollaway bed in our Room and also brought in a table for in-room dining. Instead of taking the garden path with stairs to the entrance as usual, a staff member picked us up by car at the parking lot, and we entered through the rear entrance on the 4th floor. Since our Room had a private bath, my mother felt at ease and was able to soak comfortably. Even when the water was hot, she could adjust it with cold water and enjoy several baths. The meals were on the Standard Plan, but every dish was easy to eat, delicious, and more than enough in quantity. The trainee also explained each dish carefully and kindly offered to take photos for us. We were able to relax very peacefully during our stay. Just one thing: because there was a step down at the toilet entrance, I felt it might be a little unsafe for elderly guests; it would be better if it were flat or had a ramp. This time we spent most of our time in the Room, but if we have another opportunity to stay again, we would like to enjoy the garden and the open-air bath as well.

There’s a 7-Eleven on the first floor, and MaxValu is just a short walk away. It’s also close to Miebashi Station on the monorail, and Kokusai-dori is right nearby. The location was incredibly convenient. The front desk and the room were very clean, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. In the afternoon, there were free Blue Seal ice cream and drinks—my child even said, “I want to stay here forever.” I was amazed we could stay at this price during summer vacation; everything was perfect. The staff were also very pleasant, so we’ll definitely stay again when visiting Naha.

Just steps from the tram stop—perfect as a base for exploring the city! Toyama Castle is also nearby, making it ideal for an evening stroll. Don’t miss the breakfast—highly recommended! The local Toyama ingredients and dishes are delicious. You might end up eating too much.

The welcome drink service included options such as sake and plum juice, and the Room’s beautiful interior created a special, out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere. In particular, the breakfast was of exceptionally high quality, with some menu items that were on par with a main dish at dinner.

Kyoto offers many different ways to enjoy your stay depending on the area you choose and the character of each Hotel. This was my first time staying at this Hotel, and it is in a very convenient location just a short distance from Shijo-Karasuma, which can be considered the center of downtown Kyoto. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the station whether you arrive by Hankyu Railway or the subway. Nearby are places like Goodman Roaster Kyoto and Unzen, as well as many wonderful cafes and coffee shops that have opened over the past few years—just visiting them is enjoyable in itself. Ogaki Shoten (Main Store), with its large and unique selection of magazines and books, is also close by, and Daimaru is within walking distance. There are also grocery supermarkets such as Fresco and Moritaya right nearby, making this a great area for spending time as if you live in Kyoto. Since the Hotel opened in 2019, both the Facilities and Room interiors still feel new and were very comfortable. The Room I stayed in wasn’t particularly large, but the layout was well designed so it didn’t feel cramped. It had a comfortable bed and a fairly large sofa, and the bathroom had a spacious bathtub, which made my stay very relaxing. I stayed on the 4th floor this time, and the view from the window wasn’t great due to nearby apartment buildings; however, that’s common for Hotels in central Kyoto and can’t really be helped. With that in mind, I felt it might even be fine to choose a Room on a lower floor. Breakfast didn’t have an especially wide variety of items, but everything gave me the impression of being properly prepared. I especially liked the large-bean natto. The staff at both reception and breakfast were very polite yet friendly. Overall, I found this to be a very satisfying Hotel. I was impressed that they maintain this level of service at this price point. In Kyoto I usually make hotels around City Hall or west of the Imperial Palace my regular choices, but I would like to add this Hotel to that list as well. Thank you again—I look forward to staying here again.

Thank you for taking care of us for 3 days and 2 nights. I love traveling and stay at many Hotels, but I have never experienced a Hotel where the staff’s service and greetings were this outstanding. It’s rare to find such a strong spirit of hospitality in a Business Hotel. The large public bath was also wonderful, and cooling off while enjoying the view from the rooftop overlooking Monbetsu Port after a soak was such a happy moment! Breakfast offered everything from scallop sashimi to jingisukan, and everything was delicious—I ate too much on both days. The milk and yogurt from Okoppe were also incredibly tasty. I’ve only just checked out, but I’m already thinking about when to make my next Reservation. Thank you again—we’ll definitely stay here again!

The pool in the courtyard had two shallow depth options, which were perfect for our 5- and 3-year-old children. They also lent out water guns, and having a swimsuit spin dryer was very helpful. At night, there was a free lottery next to the front desk and a small festival-style game area (paid, around 200 yen), and we felt they had really put thought into it. We were allowed to use our own handheld fireworks (not sold on-site) in the courtyard, and when we brought some, they kindly lent us a bucket filled with water and a lighter. Meals were served in the Room for both breakfast and dinner, with great portions and flavor—our whole family was very satisfied. The baths operated on a rotating schedule: the women’s bath was on the 4th floor at night and on the 3rd floor in the morning. The 4th floor did not have an open-air bath but did have a sauna. It was at a comfortable temperature that children could also use. The 3rd floor did not have a sauna, but it had an open-air bath, which we also enjoyed. The view from our Room was beautiful as well, and we were glad to be able to see the morning sunrise.

This Accommodation keeps improving every time I stay. The service and cleanliness are flawless.

We stayed for three nights during the Obon holiday. It was a very pleasant space, and we are grateful to the staff. If I had to mention one point, it would be the mattress. Our family uses a health roll, so we may simply be used to a firmer feel. However, at an Accommodation in Hakone in June, we slept comfortably with Airweave and Nishikawa bedding. It is conveniently located near the bus center and dining area. We would love to stay again.

This was my first time staying here. At first, I wasn’t sure about a standalone house in the mountains, but once I arrived, it far exceeded my expectations. The Room was more spacious than I imagined, the Onsen was free-flowing with a gentle quality to the water, and above all, the meals were not only delicious but also very generous. This Accommodation offers something truly special that you won’t find elsewhere. As someone who loves traveling, it’s an Accommodation I genuinely want to recommend to others from the bottom of my heart.

This is a Hotel where you can easily go back and forth between the beach and the pool, making it very enjoyable. We stayed with small children, but even though the restaurant is spacious, it didn’t feel crowded, so we could dine at a relaxed pace. They also lend out fireworks sets, so we were able to enjoy fireworks on the beach at night. Amenities are available for you to take back to your Room as needed, but it wasn’t inconvenient. We stayed for two nights and three days; if you leave towels outside the door, they will be replaced with fresh ones. It was our first stay in a while, but the place had been renovated and made for a comfortable trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed the silky Yuda Onsen. We also chose the BBQ for dinner, and everything was delicious (beef, pork, chicken, vegetables, etc.). The Matsuri sauce in particular was outstanding—we bought three bottles to take home. We stayed in a Japanese-style room; it was spacious, and the futon was comfortable, so we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

The Room was very clean, which was great. It was helpful to be able to check crowding information for the breakfast venue and the large public bath on the TV. Since the Room was on the 3rd floor and seemed to face the platform, I noticed the noise from passing trains.
