I have stayed at this Hotel many times since it opened. It’s a favorite of mine, packed with charm. The interior features abundant Hida-sourced wood, creating a calm atmosphere where warmth and luxury are beautifully balanced. Whether in the lobby or the guest Rooms, it’s comfortable everywhere. The Onsen is also outstanding, with blue mosaic tiles in the baths. They are not only visually beautiful but also pleasant to the touch, making it easy to truly unwind. There is an additional fee, but I especially recommend the private bath with a spacious deck—an indulgent experience in a fully private setting. Above all, my greatest pleasure here is dinner. This time, Perla caviar was served as an amuse-bouche—presented in the tin—which genuinely surprised me with its extravagance. From there, the course continued with spear squid, lobster, and Hida beef; every dish showcased superb ingredients along with the chef’s skill and sense of style. Each plate was moving in its own way—it was simply a wonderful time. The breakfast buffet is equally impressive. From local Takayama specialties to salmon marinade and their signature Hida beef curry, everything is so well executed that it hardly feels like typical Hotel breakfast—I was completely satisfied from the morning. Most memorable of all is the hospitality of the staff. Not only do they respond kindly and attentively whenever you need help, they also greet even casual travel conversations with warm smiles that make you feel truly welcome. If you stay here, I encourage you to chat with them—you’ll appreciate this Hotel even more. Room quality, Onsen, dining, and service—few Hotels deliver such a high level across every aspect. And despite that excellence, the Accommodation Fee is surprisingly reasonable; considering what you receive, the value for money is exceptional. For me, it’s one of my absolute favorite Hotels in Japan—one I will happily return to again and again.

Despite being very close to Susukino, a major entertainment district, the property was very quiet inside, and the hospitality and convenience were excellent. This will be my regular Accommodation in Sapporo. It was a very pleasant stay. Just one thing: The screw on the lower holder for the bathroom shower head was loose and coming off, so I couldn’t use it. I hope it can be repaired as soon as possible.

We were completely satisfied with everything from start to finish. This time, we stayed to coincide with my eldest son and grandchild coming home. And on the day we checked out, we went ahead and made a Reservation for the following month to coincide with my second son coming home. In any case, we were completely satisfied with everything.

As it was just after the reopening, the Facility felt brand new, and we were able to spend our time comfortably in a clean environment. In the large public bath, the scent of wood instantly helped us unwind, and the ocean view through the full-height windows was breathtaking. Even though we were on the east side of the Boso Peninsula, we were surprised to be able to see the sun setting—and it was so beautiful that we couldn’t take our eyes off it. It truly deserves its place among “Japan’s 100 Best Accommodations with Sunset Views.” The rooftop open-air bath we used before bed was softly lit with indirect lighting and had a calm atmosphere. Soaking while listening to the sound of water flowing into the tub made all our everyday fatigue melt away, and we could relax from the bottom of our hearts. It was a wonderfully soothing moment. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. The new dining venue had a Japanese-inspired design, creating a lovely atmosphere and a comfortable space. Dinner was served half-buffet style. We were first served sashimi, beautifully presented with an impressively fresh taste. We were also surprised to be served abalone and splendid alfonsino (kinmedai). The abalone remained tender even when grilled, and the kinmedai had an elegant flavor. The buffet also featured an excellent live kitchen: tempura was freshly fried, and there was even Kazusa beef steak. Both were tender, making for a highly satisfying dinner. Breakfast was also buffet-style, and we were amazed by how extensive the selection was. In addition to standard items like salads, there were also sashimi and overnight-dried fish. The turban shell curry (sazae curry) left a lasting impression with its rich flavor, and the nikujaga comforted us with its gentle taste. At the live kitchen they made omelets for us—large portions with great volume—another very satisfying dish. Our Room was spacious and spotless. Above all, through wall-to-wall glass windows stretching across one entire side of the Room, there was nothing but ocean—so much so that we found ourselves sitting in chairs simply gazing outside for quite some time. Fireworks were launched from right in front of us at the fishing port as well—it was incredibly powerful up close. We had never seen fireworks from such close range before, making it an unforgettable experience. And most impressive of all was truly the service provided by your staff. We felt thoughtful attention everywhere throughout our stay; their hospitality was consistently attentive. It made for an extremely comfortable visit—a day we were completely satisfied with. When we visit Kamogawa again, we would love to stay here again.

We stayed here with a total of 12 people, including my parents and my sister’s family. The Onsen and the Room were both clean and very comfortable. The meals were also delicious, and I was especially happy to see my mother enjoy them. Yamagata Prefecture is where my mother’s family is from, and I have visited many times since childhood. Wherever you go, you can enjoy Onsen, great food, skiing in winter, and warm hospitality—it’s one of my favorite places. Next time, I’d love to come again with the family members who couldn’t join us this time. Thank you very much.

This time we stayed in a special Room with a private open-air bath. The water temperature was comfortable 24 hours a day, the tub was spacious enough for two people to relax, and the cypress wood rim added a warm touch—I think I soaked in it about ten times. We also had three bath towels each, plus a wide towel rack to hang them, which made everything stress-free. One suggestion: I used the open-air bath around 7 a.m., but the direct sunlight was very strong. It would be nice to have something like bamboo blinds to block the sun. We also used the large public bath, and as with other Kyoritsu Resort properties such as Dormy Inn, it had plenty of washing space and was easy to use. And when it comes to Kyoritsu Resort, there’s the late-night ramen service. Since this is Hakodate, they offer salt ramen in addition to soy sauce ramen. We expected breakfast—known for being popular—to involve waiting in line, but thanks to the special Room privileges they reserved our preferred seating (such as semi-private booths or window seats) at a designated time. That was great. Of course, the meal selection lived up to its reputation. All drinks in the Room were free—including whisky—and there was also a sparkling water maker. Overall it was excellent. The price is high, but given how well-equipped everything is, we felt it was worth it. We’d love to stay again if possible.

We originally planned to stay at a mountain hut for a hike, but the weather turned bad, so we changed plans at the last minute to sightseeing in Kanazawa and made a Reservation at this Hotel. When we arrived at the parking lot, the building exterior looked old and I was a little worried, but once we went to the lobby and then up to our Room, I was glad we chose this place. Everyone in the lobby was kind, pleasant, and very helpful. The lobby interior was wonderful, and our Room had been beautifully renovated—making our stay truly comfortable. With Kanazawa Castle right next door, it’s also very convenient for sightseeing. Next time we visit Kanazawa, I’d like to stay here again.

I’m always satisfied. Given that it’s an expensive Room, you might say that’s only to be expected—but consistently delivering what’s “expected” is actually proof of very high quality. However, there is one point I’d like to note for everyone. There is a roof over the walkway to Hakodate Station, but there are no walls. So during typhoons or blizzards with strong winds, the location is only “better than others.” For normal rain, it’s not a problem.

I’d been looking forward to my trip to Kanazawa, but just before arrival the weather turned terrible—torrential rain and even lightning. I remembered how close it is to the station, so I left my luggage before check-in and went out exploring. On the way back, I stored my bags again and enjoyed shopping for souvenirs hands-free, then had lunch and tea and made the most of Kanazawa. I’d like to stay here again on my next trip. So grateful for the great location near the station!

Thank you for taking care of us during our summer trip to Shikoku. Before dinner, we were able to watch a live demonstration of straw-seared bonito, and it was truly delicious. The bath was also spacious and very relaxing. We didn’t know until we arrived, but this is a historic and prestigious Accommodation, and every staff member who assisted us was courteous and attentive. We booked the guided walking stay Plan, and the next day we visited ponds associated with Ryoma Sakamoto while walking. The explanations were thorough, making it a truly memorable experience.

With Akita Station almost directly connected, I left my luggage before noon and walked to the Prefectural Art Museum and Senshu Park before checking in. There was also a 7-Eleven and a Starbucks on the first floor. The Room was clean and quiet, so I could relax well. On the way back, I took the airport bus, and the bus stop was right in front, which was very convenient.

Except during the COVID period, I have stayed here almost every year before the rainy season. The Hotel may look a bit plain from the outside, but the staff are refreshingly pleasant and very welcoming (especially at breakfast, where they greet you with smiles and work efficiently), and the Room seems to have been renovated—it is very clean and feels fresh. There is also a large public bath; it’s on the small side, but for me this is a Hotel I’m extremely satisfied with. The only reason I deducted one star is simply as a hopeful suggestion: I would be happy if there were a way for more people to use the large public bath at once. It’s not really a complaint, but at night it was unsettling not knowing whether it was full until I actually went there. That’s truly my only point. Breakfast in particular is excellent: small portions of side dishes are neatly arranged in little bowls, beautifully presented and clearly well prepared—I can only admire it. Because it’s so satisfying just to look at, I don’t end up taking too much and overeating, which I think is wonderful. In any case, this is my favorite Hotel. I’d like to stay again next year.

This was our first stay, and in short, both our dog and we were completely satisfied. The Facility was spotless and felt very clean. The daybed in the Room was extremely comfortable, and we were able to relax and lounge around together with our dog. Unfortunately it rained that day, but the ocean-view scenery was still wonderfully refreshing. Next time, I’d like to make a Reservation for the same type of Room again. The service struck the perfect balance—attentive without being intrusive—and left a great overall impression. There was also an excellent selection of dog supplies and treats; truly thoughtful service that anticipates every need. We enjoyed all of the meals and drinks as well—they were delicious. We’ll likely be back again soon, and we look forward to seeing you then. Thank you very much for everything.

The Room was clean, and there was a modern desk lamp that allowed wireless charging for iPhones. I really liked this new type of Hotel and would love to stay again.

The meal, made with plenty of local ingredients, was satisfying in both quality and quantity. It paired very well with the local sake we received as a perk. The Room was flawless, including the open-air bath. The large public bath at the sister property across the road (seaside) was also excellent, but since it was rainy that day, it felt a bit inconvenient to use. The large public bath at SAZANA was also a little small, which was the only disappointment. The service was friendly and attentive, and we were truly able to relax. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

A long-awaited family trip. The location was perfect, and it was great to enjoy a quick drink with my wife at the bar. It’s within walking distance of both Ginza and Shimbashi, nothing to complain about.

About a 10-minute walk along the left-side sidewalk of the main road from Kanazawa Station (Kenrokuen Exit). There is no prominent signage at pedestrian eye level, so the entrance is right next to the Hokutetsu Bus stop “Musashigatsuji / Omicho Market.” Check-in starts early at 14:00. An art piece is placed on the bed in each Room, giving a luxurious feel. There is no large public bath, but the provided bath salts help you unwind. There are several coin laundry machines, and detergent is not required. Wash + dry takes about 80 minutes, from JPY 400. The machines accept JPY 100 coins only, but you can exchange money at the front desk. Check-out is at 11:00, and luggage storage after check-out is available. This Hotel sells Kanazawa Bus One-Day Passes, but Kanazawa Station and Korinbo are both within walking distance from the Hotel.

This Hotel was recommended to me by ChatGPT, which understands my preferences and personality, and I was extremely satisfied with the result. Not only were the building and interior design wonderful and stylish, but the staff were also very kind and pleasant. Breakfast was served in such a beautiful space that it took my breath away, and everything was delicious—especially the scones, which were outstanding. As this trip was for my husband’s birthday, we used the anniversary Plan. They prepared non-alcoholic champagne and a very tasty cake, making it a lovely surprise. Neither of us drinks alcohol, but if we had more time, we would have liked to visit the bar as well. Perhaps because it was a weekday in May, there were many foreign visitors both in town and among the guests. Since it rained, being able to borrow the coin laundry facilities and a shoe dryer was incredibly helpful. If I had to mention one thing, it would be helpful if there were guidance on how many minutes are needed for roughly how much laundry. (At 100 yen for 25 minutes, I suspect even one T-shirt might not fully dry...) I initially thought the price was per person but then realized it covered two people as well—which surprised me even more. There’s nowhere else where you can get this level of quality and satisfaction at this price! Thank you for such a wonderful day.

I stayed here for one night during the May holiday period. The room was very clean, which was great. From the 15th floor, I could only catch a brief view of the Northern Alps in the evening and early morning, but if I’m lucky enough to get clear weather next time, it would be an outstanding stay. Breakfast was delicious as well—these days many Hotels seem to be putting more effort into their food, and I really enjoyed it. Overall, this is a highly rated Hotel. I hear it will relaunch this autumn as an international luxury Hotel brand, and I’m very much looking forward to it.

This was my first stay, and I stayed in a wonderful Room renovated from a warehouse, where I could enjoy a Scandinavian atmosphere. Breakfast was also very stylish—cheese, bread, soup, and fruit—and I really enjoyed it. During my stay, the Hakodate fireworks festival happened to be on, so I was able to enjoy both the night sky and the night view of Hakodate. Over two days, I also went golfing during the daytime; it’s about 30–40 minutes from the Hotel, so I felt it’s perfect for a sightseeing + golf trip as well. All of the Hotel staff were very kind and attentive, and I truly appreciate all the explanations and advice they provided. I would definitely like to stay again.
