In many ways, an easy-to-use Hotel.

I stay here every time I visit Sendai. It has great access from the station and is convenient for the Sendai Morning Market and nearby restaurants. The Facility and Room are clean and comfortable. A small downside is that the large public bath is only available from 4:00 PM. Also, having a coin laundry inside the bath area is convenient, but during a Multiple Night Stay you can only use it when the bath area is not crowded (there are only two washing machines, so they may be unavailable at night). It would also be helpful if the in-room TV showed coin laundry and bath availability. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

I visited Izushi to pay my respects at a family grave, and stayed at Nishimuraya Shogetsutei in Kinosaki Onsen for the first time in a while. The room was spacious. At Kinosaki Onsen Station, there is a place at the tourist information center where they can store your luggage and deliver it directly to the hotel, so I was able to travel light—going to Toyooka and then on to Izushi. The hotel’s baths were also large, and I could relax. I also enjoyed visiting the public bathhouses; although it’s a bit far from the station, I appreciated that there is a shuttle bus. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was a buffet, but this time I kept it light. There was a good variety of options. Next time, I’d like to come for crab. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

If you’re staying in Gero for the architecture, Yunoshimakan is the place; if you’re staying for great food, I’d say this is it—Suimeien. Every dish was delicious, and the ayu sweetfish in particular was outstanding. The annex where we stayed was an adults-only area, which may be why it was so quiet at night. I was able to truly relax for the first time in a while. It also felt special to have access to a private Onsen reserved exclusively for annex guests—it was a fun and memorable experience. Both large public baths had towels available at the entrance, so there was no need to go back to the Room to get one. I could enjoy the Onsen anytime on a whim without bringing anything with me. (I especially liked the large bath on the first floor.) There is also a spot inside where you can enjoy coffee while looking outside; after breakfast, I spent a relaxing time reading there. I was amazed at how spotless everything was throughout the property—surely thanks to the excellent work of your housekeeping staff. It truly became a wonderful trip. Thank you very much. I will definitely stay again.

I was truly impressed by the warm hospitality and the kind, attentive service. The meals used locally sourced ingredients and offered a wide variety of dishes. I also appreciated the thoughtful hospitality shown even with private in-room dining rather than eating in the dining hall. The hot springs were wonderful as well—there were free private baths, and since there happened to be fewer guests during my stay, I was able to enjoy them fully. It was an excellent property, and because it is so great, I would like to share two points that stood out so it can become even better. 1) It took quite a long time for the shower water in the bath area to reach a comfortable temperature. This might be tough in winter. 2) The “Constellation Bath” (Seiza-no-Yu) is listed on the brochure and on elevator signage, but it seems to be currently unavailable, so it may be better to remove or update those references. In any case, overall this was a very pleasant stay and a highly recommended property that fully deserves its great reputation.

I stayed overnight in Shimonoseki and was looking for an Accommodation where I could truly look forward to the meals. Since there was a Plan that included both fugu and beef, I made a Reservation right away. The building is a long-established culinary Ryokan with a sense of history, and I heard that locals use it for weddings and funerals as well as to enjoy seasonal fish dishes. The fugu was served as tessa (a Kansai term), with thick slices and an exceptional sweetness. The Miyazaki beef was also tender, and the combination was easy to enjoy. The dishes may look simple at first glance, but each one is carefully crafted—far beyond anything an amateur can judge. The staff were polite yet relaxed, offering thoughtful, unobtrusive service that made my stay very comfortable. That said, I wouldn’t recommend it to travelers whose main priority is the Facility. As a long-established Ryokan, the building clearly shows its age in a good way, and you can tell it has been carefully maintained. This was my first stay here, but I would definitely like to return the next time I visit Shimonoseki. Thank you very much.

A reliably great Dormy Inn. It was crowded, but I still enjoyed the large public bath, the complimentary ice cream, and the late-night soba. However, it might be a bit far to walk from the station.

Within walking distance of Tomari Port, it’s an ideal location for those heading out to the Kerama Islands. There’s nothing to fault—everything from the cleanliness of the Room to the front desk service is excellent. The thoughtful touches, such as complimentary drinks, are impressive, and having a pool is another big plus. Personally, I highly recommend it. It feels like there are many international guests and a lively crowd. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it may not suit those who prefer a quiet Accommodation.

It was a truly wonderful hotel. I visited Kanazawa with my elderly mother, and booking a hotel in such a great location surrounded by sightseeing spots was absolutely the right choice. Getting around by taxi was smooth and easy.\nBefore check-in we arrived early, but we were promptly shown to our room as they told us it was already ready, which made my mother very happy.\nThe carpets and wall art throughout the hotel were exactly our style and really lifted our spirits.\nWe were also captivated by the Kutani ware mugs and teacups provided in the room. It made us feel, “We’re really traveling in Kanazawa!” and we were so pleased.\nThe coffee tasted especially delicious in those cups, but it was a little disappointing that the same ones weren’t available in the gift shop.\nInstead, we bought Kutani ware as souvenirs at a Kutani shop on our way home.\nFor dinner, since I was traveling with my elderly mother, I had requested seats as close to the buffet tables as possible, but they kindly prepared a private room nearby for us.\nThanks to that, we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace.\nThank you very much.\nI truly appreciate the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail.\nWe were very satisfied with both the quality and quantity of everything—from Kanazawa specialties like jibuni stew and Kanazawa oden to nodoguro sushi and dessert.\nHere as well, many beautiful pieces of pottery such as Kutani ware were used for small plates, allowing us to enjoy the food visually too.\nI rated the facilities 4 stars only because my elderly mother felt that overall the interior of the hotel seemed rather dark—this is just our personal impression.\nAfter checkout we took the shuttle bus to the station; it was a large sightseeing coach and very comfortable.\nThank you for taking such good care of us.\nWe would love to stay again.

I stayed here for sightseeing in Kanazawa. Although I took a bus from the station, it was a very convenient Hotel—Higashi Chaya District, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, and plenty of lunch and dinner options were all within walking distance.\nIt was my first stay, but my friend who stayed with me chose it right away after saying, “Nono is recommended.” The Room was easy to use, clean, and I was very satisfied. The large public bath was also very clean.\nI also enjoyed the late-night soba and was extremely satisfied. Next time I’d like to try the buffet. I will definitely stay again, and I would love to recommend it to other friends as well.\nThank you very much for your hospitality.

I had reserved a triple room, but one of my companions wasn’t feeling well, and you kindly changed it to a twin and a single. I truly appreciated your support. What’s more, the rate stayed the same—I couldn’t believe it. Thank you very much. I also enjoyed the bath both at night and in the morning. Breakfast was delicious and therefore crowded, but we could check our place in line online, so it wasn’t any hassle. In Otaru, Dormy Inn is the best choice.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The meals were truly delicious, and I was especially happy to see my mother—who usually eats lightly—enjoy so much. Even while you were busy serving, you were very attentive, and when we shared how impressed we were with the dishes, you kindly explained the ideas and techniques behind them. It made for a wonderful time. We felt refreshed by the pleasant Onsen and your thoughtful hospitality. My mother is already excited to come back next time with her friends. I would also love to visit again in a different season. Thank you very much.

Overall, it was a compact Accommodation, but perhaps because it is new, it was very clean and comfortable. Although it is a new Facility, the in-room TV was not a smart TV, so I’m deducting one star; however, the breakfast was delicious, and Nono is wonderful as always.

This was my first trip to Hakodate. There is only one direct flight a day from Nagoya, and I was incredibly lucky to get a ticket. Visiting a new place for the first time is so exciting. The Room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows with a panoramic view of Mt. Hakodate. The space was generous, and the bathtub and sink were spacious as well. The lighting switches were thoughtfully placed throughout, making everything very convenient—it was almost too comfortable! Dinner at Kita Jin (booked separately) was also excellent: premium Genghis Khan in a private room, relaxed and delicious. Breakfast was around 8:00, and we were seated right away. We came without much prior knowledge and were amazed by the variety—and even more by the quality of every dish. My spouse and I travel all over the whole country, and this may have been our best breakfast ever. Personally, I loved the eel snack with tea, dim sum, sashimi, chiffon cake, and egg tarts. What stayed with us most from this trip was meeting so many wonderful people in Hakodate: The kind driver with a great smile on the airport limousine bus. At lunchtime at Lucky Pierrot near the station—busy as it was—a female staff member still let us draw an Ichiban Kuji lottery ticket and gave us a pin badge with a big smile. At NIPPONIA Hotel Hakodate Port Town on our first day—a female staff member kindly explained everything and gave us a hand-drawn illustrated map of nearby spots within walking distance. On an evening sightseeing taxi tour to see Mt. Hakodate’s night view—a female driver born in Hakodate from Donan Taxi carefully explained local history, the Western-style houses in Motomachi, and the origins of Soma-tei. The staff who made our motorboat cruise even more enjoyable under clear skies the next day. At lunch near the station at Uni Specialty Shop Yoichiya—a female employee whose attentiveness and refined service truly impressed us. And above all, at Century Marina’s front desk—the female staff member who kindly explained everything for our first stay left a wonderful impression with her polite service; of course, the male staff member at checkout was also outstanding. The quick yet courteous service at Kita Jin was excellent as well—we are truly grateful to have stayed at this Hotel. It was an intense 2-night/3-day trip to Hakodate, but seeing everyone working so hard to make their city shine really moved us—it looked genuinely inspiring. We will definitely come again. I truly fell in love with historic Hakodate from the bottom of my heart!

I stayed for two nights on my first trip to Hakodate. The view was amazing, and everything—from the service to the Room—was excellent. The Hotel also offers loaner bicycles, and there are plenty of nearby options such as car rentals and convenience stores. It’s also within walking distance of the station. There’s a morning market just a short walk away, so I had breakfast there. When I arrived in heavy rain, they immediately lent me a towel, which really warmed my heart. Even though I went in and out many times a day, they always greeted me with a smile, saying “Have a nice day” and “Welcome back.” There was no waiting for the elevator, which made everything comfortable. The Room was spotless as well. This is a Hotel I would definitely want to stay at again on my next trip. Thank you very much!

I chose this Hotel because the Reviews were good, and they were absolutely right. In a business-style Hotel, it’s often difficult for the staff to meet every individual request, but this Hotel is excellent in that it anticipates anything guests might struggle with or wish they had—and has everything prepared. It’s basically self-service, but there’s a microwave in the hallway, the ice machine is a solid commercial-grade unit, and they provide a case so you won’t lose your Room key and breakfast voucher. The Room also has spare disposable slippers in addition to regular slippers, extra bath towels are available near the elevator, and overall they really focus on what guests would think “it would be nice to have.” Of course, the service at check-in was polite and attentive. The welcome drink service is self-serve so you can use it without feeling awkward, and breakfast feels truly homemade—highly recommended.

This hotel offered the best Diamond member benefits. I stayed at five hotels, and only two—this one and one other—provided them. The hotel felt a bit old, but it was clear they are making strong efforts in many areas. It was a very pleasant hotel.

We stay here every year, and the food is simply delicious. If you stay for two nights, the dinner buffet menu changes slightly. It’s fun to see that something from yesterday is gone, or that something new has been added. It’s also convenient that Suganodai Bus Center, Komagane Farms, and “Boke” apple pie are all within walking distance.

Both breakfast and dinner were exceptionally delicious, and we were completely satisfied. The view from the lounge was wonderful. From the in-room scenic bath, we could look out over the sea, and from the living area we could see airplanes up close. In the open-air bath of the large public bath, we could look up at planes just before landing, and were truly impressed by how powerful it was. We look forward to visiting again next year after the renovations are completed.

Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. Thank you for preparing the special Room on the 4th floor; the view from the Room was wonderful. Not only could we overlook the streets of Hirugami Onsen town, but we were also able to gaze at the starry sky at night, making it a truly luxurious and moving experience. The meals also featured seasonal local ingredients, and in particular, the salt-grilled amago trout was delicious. We were very satisfied with both the scenery and the food.
