We enjoyed being able to drink the Onsen water, the nearby Jigoku Onsen, and the many private family baths.

Located on a steep hill, access by foot can be challenging. The room provided a calm and private space, allowing for a stay without encountering anyone from check-in to check-out. Although not an Onsen, the water quality was excellent. No insects were seen during the stay, but insect prevention items might create unnecessary concern for some guests. On the other hand, waking up to the sound of birds made for a delightful experience in this beautiful location.

My spouse and I stayed with our miniature dachshund and chose the BBQ course. After arriving, we checked in at Bianco. We were then shown to our Room, and everything was explained carefully, including how the Room and the public Onsen work. You can buy a 24-hour pass for three public baths at Gozen-yu for 600 yen. We started with a soak at Gozen-yu, then took our dog for a walk around town before dinner. The atmosphere is lovely, but to be honest there aren’t really any tourist facilities like souvenir shops (lol). There are walking paths too, but we decided not to go into the mountains because we were worried about bears. Before dinner, they brought us the meat for the BBQ. A one-drink option is included, so I ordered a craft beer. The meal was more filling than expected and very tasty. One thing to note: you cook the rice yourself using a mess tin (camping-style pot), so it might feel challenging if it’s your first time—though I’m used to it as a camper. It felt less like staying at a Ryokan and more like casual glamping. Also, since you’re grilling as you eat, it’s not really a sit-down-and-relax style meal. After dinner we went to our second bath, Satsuki-yu. However, Arifuku Onsen is very hot, so you can’t soak for long. My wife tried to go for one more bath at Yayoi-yu before bed but ran out of time and ended up going back to Gozen-yu instead (open until 10 p.m.). In the morning we visited Gozen-yu again (open from 7 a.m.) before having breakfast bento boxes—those were great too. The Room was very clean, and best of all we could let our dog relax freely inside, which made us really happy. We’d love to stay again if we have the chance—next time I’d like to try dinner at Bianco as well.

The location is excellent—just a few dozen seconds to Atami Ginza Shopping Street and about a 1-minute walk to Sun Beach. The pillow was small and the bed was a bit firm, but considering the price, I think that’s understandable. If you’re not specifically looking for an Onsen and want to enjoy Atami’s food scene, this is an ideal choice.

We enjoyed the excellent hot springs, delicious meals, and complimentary drinks.

With three of us staying, it was an incredible deal at under 3,000 yen per person. Even though we checked in late, they waited for our arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the Facility. The Accommodation is a renovated former care facility, but it was cutely decorated and didn’t bother us at all. The amenities were excellent—there was even cleansing oil and toner. We also appreciated the free yukata. We didn’t make a Reservation for breakfast, but we were very happy to get 20% off freshly baked bread at the rice-flour bakery next door. Thank you very much!

Although there is only one type of spring source—our favorite sulfur Onsen—we enjoyed how the water color differed between the indoor bath and the open-air bath. The open-air bath also offered beautiful fresh green maple leaves, and we would love to visit again during the autumn foliage season. The meals were a satisfying amount for enjoying drinks, with seasonal items as well. The asparagus tempura in particular was outstanding. The building is old, but the Room had been renovated and was clean. From the Room, we enjoyed the garden flowers and fresh greenery.

This accommodation features a charming corridor connecting the front desk to the rooms. All rooms come with an open-air bath. There are rooms with city views and mountain views; this time, we stayed in a mountain-view room called "Kasuga," which was a combination of Japanese and Western styles (8-tatami mat alcove + 6-tatami Western-style room with two beds). The open-air bath was not very large but sufficient for two people. When we tried to use the open-air bath right after check-in, we found a centipede in it. Since the area outside is surrounded by nature, it couldn't be helped... However, when we informed the staff, they promptly cleaned and replaced the water for us, which was great. Dinner was served at the dining area as an Irori Kaiseki meal! Everything was delicious! We were very satisfied. Breakfast might feel slightly lacking for some guests. Although there is WiFi in the room, it’s weak and disconnects frequently—this needs improvement. A floor plan of the facility or room layout would be helpful inside each room. It would also be nice to have menus and tariffs for additional dinner dishes or drinks available in advance in each room since we only learned about additional dishes later on. It would be convenient to have an extra set of towels and bath towels since guests also visit public baths within the facility. Roomwear that separates into top-and-bottom pieces like samue would also be appreciated—it wouldn’t come undone easily and could even be worn to meals at dining areas. The staff members are incredibly kind and attentive! Overall, this accommodation provides a highly satisfying experience! It’s definitely worth revisiting! Next time, I’d like to stay in one of their city-view rooms!

It was a very lovely accommodation. The room was renovated and clean, but the highlight was definitely the private bath in the guest room. Being able to enjoy such a wonderful onsen all by myself felt incredibly luxurious. The private onsen with its charming tiled bathtub also had a delightful atmosphere. Dinner was plentiful, and I chose sukiyaki—the meat was delicious. Although it was an all-inclusive plan, I’m not good with alcohol, so I think it would be perfect for those who enjoy drinking. I had a relaxing time alone. Thank you for your hospitality!

The uphill walk from the station is definitely tough, but aside from that, we were satisfied. Since taxis sometimes don’t come to the station easily, we recommend planning accordingly depending on whether it’s a weekday or a weekend/holiday. Grilling dried fish and warming up fish cake was fun.

The Room was clean and spacious, and the Facility was great. The open-air bath was wonderful! It looks like you could have a barbecue on the terrace. There’s a rice cooker, plates, and more, so you can cook for yourself. I’d love to stay again.

I think the highlight of this Ryokan is the heartfelt service from the staff. At dinner, they were very attentive to the timing of each dish. While many Ryokan and restaurants bring out dishes one after another, I was truly impressed. They carefully checked whether it was a good time to bring the simmered golden eye snapper and whether they should serve the fried dishes yet, so every dish was enjoyed at its best. They also asked if I wanted another serving of rice, which made me feel this is a wonderful Accommodation. We could see the ocean from both the Room and the large public bath, and we were able to relax at ease. The food was delicious as well, and we were very satisfied. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The historic wooden exterior has the charming atmosphere that Kinosaki Onsen is known for, creating a wonderful ambiance. Once inside, however, the entrance is modern and refined, with an exceptional sense of cleanliness. From the moment we arrived, our excitement for the stay grew. We stayed in Room 207 facing Yanagi Street, and the willow-lined view from the veranda was beautiful both day and night. The room was spacious and spotless, and we were comfortable throughout our stay. There are three small private baths in the Accommodation. The baths themselves are fairly simple, but our Plan included access to all of Kinosaki Onsen’s public bathhouses, so we thoroughly enjoyed visiting them. Among them, “Goshono-yu” was our favorite. For dinner we had shabu-shabu. The meat served was so generous that we wondered if we could finish it all. I have a big appetite, but even I felt fully satisfied—most guests will definitely leave feeling full. And of course, it tasted amazing! All staff were courteous and attentive, and we were very satisfied with everything—from the room to the service to the food. This time we enjoyed Kinosaki in summer, but next time we’d love to visit in winter to experience its seasonal scenery and cuisine as well. A Ryokan I can confidently recommend!

The location is so amazing that all I could say upon arrival was "Wow," "Beautiful," and "Wonderful." I will definitely visit again.

It was worth extending our trip from Karuizawa to Kusatsu Onsen just to visit Kimuraya. We truly enjoyed a relaxing time, and the Shirahata no Yu with its free-flowing Onsen water was so smooth it felt like it embraced the body. Even my husband, who isn’t particularly fond of hot springs, seemed to appreciate its charm and went in multiple times. The staff members were all wonderful as well.

The service was attentive and excellent from check-in to dining. Detailed explanations were provided throughout the accommodation, offering a sense of history everywhere. The quality of the hot spring water was exceptional and rare to find elsewhere. I would love to visit again in a different season.

The bath is very relaxing. The open-air bath is a comfortable size, and the greenery makes it pleasant as well. Breakfast was delicious—tuna and squid sashimi, grated yam, freshly cooked fried eggs, rice porridge, and “Ra-ho”—and I looked forward to it on the second morning too. Since I was traveling alone and staying two nights, I chose a Room without a bath to keep costs down, but if the price isn’t that much cheaper, I think I should have booked a standard Room instead. Because there is an Onsen, not having a bath wasn’t an issue, but the toilet bothered me. It seems a toilet unit was added into one corner of what looks like an enclosed veranda area by the window in the Japanese-style room. Since it’s so close to the room itself, it felt a bit uncomfortable. The TV also felt very small—about the size of a computer monitor. If it were dramatically cheaper than regular rooms, I might consider it again.

It felt homey and very comfortable. The Hotel staff were kind, and the Onsen was very relaxing. I also appreciated being able to use the laundry freely. I would like to stay again.

The Onsen was excellent, and it felt like a place where you could relax and take your time in the bath. The meals were also delicious. In particular, breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and I thought items like simmered dishes and agedashi tofu would be great to serve at dinner as well.

We stayed with two adults in two single Rooms. They kindly accommodated our request to extend our stay by one day. We were comfortable throughout our stay. If we have the opportunity, we would like to use this Hotel again. Thank you very much.
