Very satisfied. The hostess was friendly, and the food was extremely delicious. The Onsen town had a charming atmosphere, was quiet, and allowed for a relaxing stay.

I used to visit Harazuru often, but I learned about this place for the first time through the “Fukuoka 6 Onsen Hot Spring Tour” leaflet. The water was silky and smooth, felt great on the skin, and was very relaxing. With only a few rooms, it was easy to unwind. The staff were polite and pleasant as well. I’d love to visit again.

We stayed with two children. Toys were prepared in our Room, and the kids had a great time. The temperature of the large public bath at the Accommodation was just right, and even infants could bathe without any issues. We booked the No Meals Included Plan, but we had dinner at the dining area on the second floor. High chairs for children were available, and there were plenty of menu options that kids could enjoy. The staff at the Accommodation were very warm and welcoming, which we truly appreciated.

These days, it’s rare to find an Accommodation without foreign staff, and the meals here are very carefully prepared using local ingredients. There are many baths, and they will even let you reserve a large open-air bath that was apparently once used as a mixed-gender bath. It’s an excellent open-air bath and highly recommended. There is also an open-air bath a short walk from the Accommodation, but I was told it can only be used during daylight hours because bears have been seen in the area. The building has the feel of an old Ryokan and shows some wear in places, but it is kept clean and well maintained. The resident cat has changed over time; when I asked the proprietress, she brought her out on a leash. Perhaps because she is well loved, she likes people and will purr even when meeting you for the first time.

This was our first stay here with four people: my father, mother, me, and my daughter. Around the time of our Reservation, you called us, and I explained my allergies, our request for a private dining room at dinner, and that we had someone with leg and back pain; you accommodated us kindly. We chose the boat sashimi Plan. Dinner included not only the boat sashimi but also shabu-shabu and rock oysters—about twice as much as we expected—and everyone was satisfied. The private bath was too dark at night and felt scary to use, but luckily no one else came to the public bath. The private bath in the morning was wonderful. At breakfast, the buffet’s simmered dishes and pork miso soup were delicious. The coffee and tea service after breakfast was also nice. We were able to relax in our Japanese-Western style Room, so if we have a chance to visit Tottori again, we would like to stay here again.

Stayed in a smoking double room for a Multiple Night Stay in Iwaki City for work. Here’s my review from the perspective of a heavy smoker and drink enthusiast. Location: There is a parking lot right in front of the hotel with a maximum fee of ¥500 for 24 hours. A convenience store (Lawson), a day-use Onsen (Sahako no Yu), and Yumoto Station are all about a 5-minute walk away, making the location very convenient. However, there are very few dining options, even around the station, so it’s necessary to do some research in advance. I walked up and down the nearby streets twice and found only one izakaya where smoking was allowed ("Odoriba" near the station). The friendly hostess, affordable drinks, and smoking-friendly environment were great, but unfortunately, the place is set to close in a year due to station redevelopment. Many shops had their shutters down, possibly due to the off-season. The adjacent yakitori restaurant "Juhachiban" does not allow smoking but had pleasant service and reasonable prices for a tourist area, making it a recommended spot. Further down, the bar "Mai Tai" seemed to allow smoking at its outdoor sidewalk seating, but I didn’t try it as it looked stylish and seemed a bit pricey. Hotel Room: The glass-walled bathroom (frosted glass, but still) felt a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, there were no major issues. The room was clean and well-maintained. Unlike many hotels where removing the key card cuts off all electricity, this hotel allowed the refrigerator to stay on while I was out, which was convenient for keeping drinks cold during a Multiple Night Stay. The availability of an extension cord was also a nice touch. Other Notes: There is no ice machine or ice service at the front desk, so I had to buy ice from the convenience store for in-room drinks. There is a vending machine for beer and sours next to the front desk. A map of nearby restaurants is also available at the front desk, which was helpful for exploring the area. Considering the rising prices of hotels recently, this hotel offered excellent value for money. The room facilities and location made it a very cost-effective choice.

I had used the day-use hot springs several times before and fell in love with the water at first sight. Wanting to spend more time soaking in the water, I decided to stay at this accommodation this time! The staff at the accommodation were incredibly kind and attentive, which I truly appreciated. It has become a place I definitely want to stay again!

It was a wonderful Ryokan. Our Room did not have a bath, but there were many private baths available, and we could use any open one without a Reservation, so it was not an issue at all. The meals were more than we could finish, and even my son—who eats a lot—was full and satisfied. Everyone welcomed us with warm smiles and excellent service, and we were able to spend a comfortable, lovely time.

My first trip to Atami. All the staff were very kind, and their smiles were wonderful. If I have the chance to visit Atami again, I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

Among the few pet-friendly accommodations, I chose a no-dinner plan as I had plans during the day and checked in late. Prioritizing cost-effectiveness since it was just for staying overnight. The room was well-cleaned, had a sense of cleanliness, and I was very satisfied. The breakfast was delicious enough, leaving me very satisfied, making this accommodation a definite choice for repeat visits. The onsen at the external bathhouse was also excellent. Thank you very much!

Stayed during the Obon holiday period. A budget Ryokan with no meals. I didn’t expect much, but it was surprisingly good. The private Beppu Onsen bath is available in 1-hour slots, so you can relax and take your time. The temperature was just right. If you like a charming Onsen Ryokan with a traditional atmosphere, you’ll want to come back. The female front desk staff greeted us with a smile and made a great impression. There’s also a large department store and convenience stores nearby, so you can shop on foot and won’t have to worry about meals.

The room was spacious and well-cleaned, and all kitchen utensils, such as plates, were in a clean state and fully equipped. Bringing a cassette stove is not allowed, so it would have been nice if there was a tabletop IH stove in the room. The Onsen in the large public bath was also free-flowing from the source, with a slight viscosity, making my skin smooth. The temperature was just right, warming me from the core and providing great relaxation. The staff's response was courteous, and the facility was quiet, allowing for a leisurely stay. Overall, five stars! I couldn't find anything bad (laughs).

It's hard to find a place where you can enjoy an Onsen while traveling with your dog. This time, we drove all the way from Kanagawa to Arifuku Onsen, a place we had never heard of before. Honestly, we didn’t have high expectations, but we spent a relaxing 2 nights and 3 days there. There was a small mishap on the third morning when breakfast didn’t arrive, but they handled it sincerely and professionally. (That breakfast was quite extravagant, wasn’t it? Thank you!) One request: if possible, please consider installing sound-masking devices in the toilets. The sounds are quite audible while cooking... I wish it were closer, but if I get another chance, I’d love to visit again!

I stayed here during the Obuse Marathon. Despite my early departure, they kindly prepared rice balls and tea for me, which I greatly appreciated. The warm smiles when welcoming and sending me off made for a wonderful stay.

It was a traditional Ryokan with lots of stairs. There was a kotatsu, and the building had plenty of retro items, which made it fun. The bath was tiled, and the Onsen water was a bit on the hot side. By chance no one else was there, so I could use it privately, which was great. The food was delicious. I was surprised by the apple tempura, but it had a nice texture and a pleasant tartness.

The room was very spacious, almost like a private retreat with an onsen! It was incredibly relaxing. The service was attentive and excellent. What touched me the most was the morning after it snowed. When I went to leave early in the morning, I found that someone had already cleared the snow off my car without me noticing. Such thoughtful gestures truly warmed my heart. Since I live in the Kanto region, I may not be able to visit frequently, but if someone asks me for a recommendation for good accommodation, I would recommend this place without hesitation! I've found such a wonderful accommodation here.

We stayed as a family of three and were very satisfied with the sophisticated soba-based creative cuisine and excellent service. The facility is simple, making the price reasonable, and it was impeccably clean. This is an accommodation we would love to visit again and again.

This was my first stay here. At check-in, the owner kindly explained the area using a map, covering dining options, Onsen facilities, and everything from convenience stores to drugstores. The Facility is old, but it is well cleaned, and the bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water was great. The Room had new tatami mats, and the futon bedding was clean and comfortable. I would love to stay here again when I visit Kusatsu Onsen.
