A small Hotel located in Karuizawa Lake New Town, where the owner couple and staff warmly welcomed us. The Hotel features a charming medieval castle-like exterior, with carefully selected interiors, furniture, and tableware that create a delightful atmosphere. The owner couple also runs popular curry restaurants in Tokyo and Karuizawa, and you can enjoy their curry as an optional meal at the Hotel. Both the curry and breakfast were incredibly delicious. Nearby the Hotel, you can find Lake Garden, stylish cafes, grocery shops, and more—perfect for enjoyable strolls. I would love to visit again!

This was a return visit because when I stayed last November, I thought, “I’d like to come back in a different season.” As it was the rainy season, I couldn’t see Mt. Fuji at all—though it should have looked magnificent—but it turned out to be the perfect opportunity to relax indoors at the Facility. Since I arrived a little before check-in time, I contacted you hoping to leave my luggage only, and you kindly agreed. When I arrived, being greeted with “Welcome back!” was a wonderful start to the warm hospitality. Last time, I left several comments on things I hoped could be improved if possible, and every single one had been addressed—this thoughtfulness impressed me even more. Breakfast was changed from last time; the main dish was Saikyo miso–marinated rainbow trout, and it was so delicious that it made me want more rice. I’d love to visit again in another season as well—partly because I want to try yet another breakfast option.

Ideal accommodation for a ski trip. Conveniently located near the highway interchange, making it a great base for exploring areas like Myoko, Togakushi, and Madarao. There are no shops around the accommodation, and it may take about 10–15 minutes by car to reach the nearest convenience store or supermarket. Perfect for spending a quiet and relaxing time.

I had the pleasure of revisiting the enchanting Sasayuri-an. After an unforgettable experience at "Kozuno," this time I stayed in another building, "Zao." About a month ago, I was fortunate to connect with Sasayuri-an and was deeply touched by the warmth of the owners. Since then, I eagerly anticipated my return. My expectations were high due to my previous wonderful stay, but this visit exceeded them in every way. The moment we stepped inside, everyone let out a gasp of awe—it felt like stepping into another world. This 150-year-old traditional thatched-roof house is a perfect blend of historical beauty and modern comfort, truly a hidden gem. The stunning terraced rice fields visible through the windows and the star-filled night sky created an extraordinary atmosphere. The space is both majestic and refined yet evokes a nostalgic sense of comfort. Above all, the exceptional hospitality from the owners provided deep relaxation. The owner's passion for detail is evident everywhere—from beams relocated from a 400-year-old structure to speakers once used by Ryuichi Sakamoto—making every conversation with him fascinating and inspiring. Despite visiting in February's cold weather, thoughtful touches like fireplaces, discreetly placed air conditioners that preserve aesthetic harmony, and oil heaters along hallways ensured warmth throughout this spacious accommodation. The owner also practices as a Yamabushi (mountain ascetic) alongside managing his business. During our stay, we had rare opportunities to experience waterfall meditation and fire rituals under his guidance while enjoying stories about Shugendo around an irori hearth—a truly memorable experience! Evenings were spent chatting by irori flames or soaking in herbal baths within cypress tubs to unwind completely; mornings began with delicious coffee paired with breathtaking views of Japan’s timeless rural landscape—a blissful retreat indeed. Sasayuri-an offers an unparalleled escape from urban chaos where both mind and body can rejuvenate fully—a genuinely special place worth cherishing forever! Although we rarely revisit accommodations multiple times ourselves here feels different; it’s somewhere precious enough always wanting return alongside loved ones again someday soon! With facilities such as pizza ovens BBQ setups campfire areas ready springtime glamping plans already excite us looking forward next visit ahead!

It was an incredibly beautiful and cute property! When we almost became dinner refugees due to our mistake, they kindly assisted us. Even after checking in, they kindly explained everything, allowing us to stay with peace of mind! The room was so cute that I was extremely torn about which side to sleep on. Haha. It's a bit far, but I thought it wouldn't be a problem as long as we could rent a car, and I would love to stay again when I travel to Shimane. We had reserved breakfast, and everything was so delicious that we finished it in an instant! Since you can eat at your preferred time, we could relax and it became a truly wonderful day! The use of natural plant-based oils combined with expert techniques provided ultimate relaxation & refreshment. The Room decor is incredibly charming—white tones paired with lace create an atmosphere women will adore; it’s so cozy! I visited during summer but am sure each season brings new ways to enjoy this place. FURAHA is somewhere you'll want to visit again and again. I hope many people get to experience this relaxation & refreshment—but honestly? It’s so wonderful I almost want to keep it a secret. Thank you so much!

Staying from Saturday, March 1 to Sunday, March 2, 2025 I was looking for a place where my wife and I could relax for a birthday party and came across RIAD NANA. Although I don't know much about Morocco, the charming building and wonderful space allowed us to feel an extraordinary experience while being very relaxed. The owner's passion for Morocco is evident in the decorations and even the entrance door purchased in Morocco, which made me want to learn more about the country. It is currently rented as a whole property, but it seems that it was originally intended to be a guesthouse with four bedrooms and two toilets/showers, which makes sense. While meeting new people at a guesthouse can be enjoyable, renting an entire property to spend time leisurely with family or close friends is also nice. Even those who are not familiar with Morocco should definitely visit RIAD NANA.

Relax in a warm, wood-accented building with well-equipped amenities. Set on a hilltop, it offers great views and a refreshing escape from everyday life!

My wife’s favorite. A wonderful Accommodation that makes you want to come back again and again. This was our third stay, including Reservations made by my wife. This time it was a gift from me. It’s truly exceptional every time, so I wanted to leave a Review. Our usual way of spending time here is enjoying authentic organic coffee brewed with the espresso machine in the Room. Sipping coffee while looking down over the terraced rice fields through the large window of the tatami room, we both forgot about our phones and were able to relax for the first time in a while. Breakfast was also outstanding: rice harvested from the terraced fields right in front of us, cooked in a clay pot. The miso soup made with additive-free black soybean miso and dried-sardine broth felt gentle on the body, and this simple yet carefully prepared meal is something we truly appreciate. Although the sky was unfortunately cloudy this time, the earthy scent after the rain and the lush, misty view of the terraced fields were beautiful—we could have watched it forever. At night, a few fireflies drifted softly through the air, and my wife and I were moved by how magical it felt. Another great memory was chatting casually with the landowner who came by to check on the rice paddies; we learned about local life and culture. It warmed my heart to realize that this beautiful nature is preserved thanks to such careful stewardship by people in the community. A staff member told us that “the Milky Way in July and even midwinter starry skies are beautiful,” so next time we’d love to visit in another season with stargazing in mind. With a British-style exterior, the drinks available on the sofa at the front desk are soothing, and the dinner and breakfast are superb! The side vegetables have a deliciousness that cannot be tasted in the city, and each dish was very tasty. The room has a unit bath and is well-equipped with amenities, but there are several onsens nearby that I recommend. I was very satisfied with the very reasonable stay.

A year ago, due to heavy rain, we had to cancel our stay. Amid the lingering summer heat, we revisited after a year. This time, we had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful accommodation for one day. Renting an entire house with a view of Nara's mountains as the backdrop to the dry landscape garden, enjoying an evening beer was the perfect way to conclude summer. For dinner, there was a variety of alcoholic beverages available, and the shabu-shabu by the hearth was absolutely delicious. At night, gazing at a sky full of stars marked the end of our day. Knowing that this accommodation is run by your family made it feel very warm and welcoming during our stay. It was such happiness to spend a day doing nothing but relaxing peacefully— a truly special experience at Sasayuri-an. Thank you so much! We will definitely return again!

My husband and I stayed here in July. The meals were truly delicious, and the Onsen was wonderful. On the way home we even said, “It was so good we wish they ran a restaurant,” and it became an unforgettable taste for us. The living room had a warm, nostalgic atmosphere—like the shop where Kiki’s mother works in *Kiki’s Delivery Service*. The owners were lovely people, and Mugi-chan was incredibly soothing as well. They also kindly provided Shuttle Service early in the morning, which helped us a lot. Thanks to that, although rockfall on 7/1 meant we had to start from the Daisekkei bus stop, we were able to safely hike Mt. Norikura up to Tatamidaira and Maodake, and fully take in the spectacular scenery unique to this season. Thank you so much for your heartfelt hospitality. We would love to visit again.

Last year, we stayed in the Cottage Suite, and this time it was our second stay in the Cinderella Little Suite. The owners provide exceptional hospitality with their warm personalities and thoughtful attention to detail, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The interior of the accommodation and rooms are elegant and stylish, with every corner kept impeccably clean. Dinner is a delightful experience, with each dish from appetizers to dessert being delicious and satisfying. For breakfast, a basket filled with tasty egg sandwiches or vegetable croissant sandwiches, drinks, fruits, yogurt, etc., is delivered to your room. It’s wonderful to enjoy a delicious breakfast while relaxing comfortably in your room without any worries. The private bath made of Maifan stone is spacious enough for two people to enjoy comfortably; you can also check its availability from your room for added convenience. Every time we stay here, we feel so glad that we chose this amazing hotel. We’re looking forward to visiting again during another season!

I stayed at Hotel WELLIES, and it was a very warm and welcoming Hotel overall. The welcome tea had a wonderful aroma, and I felt relaxed as soon as I arrived. The manager was also incredibly kind, and I felt at ease throughout my stay. This time, they prepared a Room on the second floor for us, and thoughtfully ensured there were no other guests in the Rooms next to ours. That consideration left a strong impression on me. The bedding was truly fluffy and comfortable, so I was able to rest well. It was also great that Harunire Terrace is nearby, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We visited from Kashiwa in Chiba and arrived in 2 hours 58 minutes—being able to get there in under three hours was another plus. I visited with my wife, had a wonderful time, and it was a stay that made us want to come back again. I sincerely appreciate the manager’s hospitality. I would also like to thank the international staff member who served our meals and kindly assisted us. Thank you for such a lovely time.

This is my second stay at this accommodation. As a resident of the prefecture, I have had the chance to visit various hotels, but this is personally my favorite hotel in Okinawa. From the moment I step out of the car in the parking lot, I feel as if I've been transported to Morocco, and my excitement doesn't stop. Upon entering, I'm greeted by a wonderful fragrance that lifts my spirits even more! Every detail has been carefully thought out, creating an enchanting space wherever you look. What I love most is the food here—enjoying a meal while taking in breathtaking views in such an amazing setting becomes a memory for a lifetime. I highly recommend making a reservation with an evening and breakfast included plan so you can fully enjoy your stay without leaving the hotel! The staff are all wonderful as well. Thank you for preparing beautiful flowers and cake for our anniversary plan—it was truly special. I'd love to visit again on another special occasion!

We stayed with our dog! The weather was stormy on the first day, but thanks to the thoughtful care of the staff, we were able to relax and enjoy a wonderful evening. By midnight, the rain and wind had stopped and we could even see a starry sky. Thank you for such a peaceful, unhurried stay! The sheep Mee-chan and Grandma were adorable too. Collecting eggs was fun, and thank you for the egg souvenirs as well! We could dine in a relaxed atmosphere, and the sukiyaki was delicious. I felt it was slightly lacking without rice, but I was very satisfied overall. The scenery gets 100 points! Thank you very much for taking such great care of us!

After sightseeing in Kamikochi, we drove and enjoyed a relaxing Onsen as a couple. The open-air bath in the special Room was located in a spacious garden, allowing us to spend time at ease. The Room was also large with beautiful decor, providing a comfortable stay. We would love to visit again.

We stayed over the Obon weekend. First of all, the Room was very clean, and the interior was cute and lovely. In the lobby, there was freshly ground coffee, card games, and a telescope, so we were able to enjoy ourselves. For dinner, a BBQ expert taught us how to cook everything deliciously, so even beginners could have a fun and tasty time! I think the portions were just right. The all-you-can-drink option is self-serve from a cooler box with beer, tea, and more. Basically, the only cutlery provided is disposable chopsticks. After lights-out it gets pitch-dark outside, so the starry sky at night was beautiful. For breakfast we were given ingredients for hot sandwiches and made them ourselves, so you do need to wake up early enough to prepare them properly. It made me want to make hot sandwiches at home too. The staff were also very kind. After checkout it was raining heavily, so they let us wait in the lobby for a while. I’d love to visit again in a different season!
