My friend and I stayed for one night and two days. That morning, we joined a river kayaking tour, and since there were no changing facilities near the river, I asked if it would be okay to arrive still wearing our wet wetsuits. They kindly agreed, which I truly appreciated. We were dropped off by the tour staff, and the moment we arrived, the breathtaking view of a beautiful infinity pool under a clear blue sky spread out before us—I couldn’t help but shout, “Wow, amazing!” We were shown to seats by the poolside, and even before checking in my friend said, “Wow… I should’ve brought my laptop. Next time we have to bring our laptops and stay longer for a workcation.” We were then shown to our Room. When I tried to open my suitcase, it wouldn’t open—an unexpected mishap—but after speaking with the butler right away they prepared an adorable tracksuit that could be worn over swimwear and arranged a rental car for us. Thanks to that, we were able to get it opened at a local gas station we had found in advance. For dinner, they prepared a handmade welcome plate inspired by the kayaking experience and the sea turtle nesting observation tour we had done—it was moving from the moment we sat down. Every dish was something new to us and absolutely delicious; in particular, I loved the peach sorbet served by the pastry chef. We got so caught up in eating and chatting that we stayed late, yet the chef still came out with a smile to see us off all the way until we boarded the golf cart back to our Room. The next morning we joined a kokedama (moss ball) workshop and enjoyed making one while learning all kinds of things about plants. I’ve forgotten the plant’s name now, but when I mentioned that I like tea, they also wrapped large leaves that can be enjoyed as tea together with my kokedama. We were probably the noisiest guests during our stay as just two people, yet everyone treated us with kindness until the very end—I’m nothing but grateful. Next time, I plan to bring my laptop and come back for a longer workcation stay.

We visited for a family trip to celebrate our daughter’s marriage. As it was formerly an art museum, we were overwhelmed by the meticulously designed building by Tadao Ando and the many artworks displayed throughout the property. The Room was extremely comfortable, and the pool we had been looking forward to was wonderful—we were able to fully enjoy this extraordinary space. We expected Western cuisine, but instead were delighted by beautifully refined Japanese dishes. The drink pairings matched to each course were perfect, and every dish moved us. The congratulatory wedding cake we had ordered was also truly delicious and became a wonderful keepsake. We sincerely appreciate the warm hospitality of all the staff. This is a superb Hotel where architecture, art, and food are all in harmony, and we would love to stay again.

This Hotel was truly wonderful, with breathtaking views of Hayama and the warm hospitality of the entire staff. In particular, the Misaki-caught longtooth grouper served at dinner was perfectly cooked by the chef and genuinely moving—its plump, tender white flesh and rich fat that melted in my mouth were unforgettable. With outstanding cuisine and exceptional service, it became a very special stay. Thank you very much.

We enjoyed the pool for over two hours, and it was a very satisfying stay for our children. The Room had a calm interior, and we were able to relax. The all-inclusive drinks and light snacks were delicious, and this has become one of our favorite Accommodations. We would love to come back again.

The Onsen facilities, meals, and service were all excellent. Since we stayed on a hot day, I was worried the Onsen spa might feel too warm, but because it was up in the mountains, the breeze was cool and it was comfortable. The meal was delicious French cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. All the staff were friendly and helpful in many ways. We stayed for my mother’s birthday, and she was very happy. It’s a Hotel I’d love to stay at again if I have the chance!

It was our first trip to Okinawa in a while. In the past, we traveled with our children and visited many places, so we didn’t spend much time at the Hotel. Now that we are both in our 60s, we enjoyed a relaxing Multiple Night Stay for two nights. Because it is a remote island a little far from Naha, we could truly feel the authentic, non-touristy Okinawa. Not only was the food wonderful, but being warmly chatted with by the staff was the greatest “reward” of all. We became fans of Kouri Island and One Suite. We would love to visit again.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday!! The birthday decorations were set up, and the towel swans were beautifully arranged—so lovely!! The staff were professional, very kind, and wonderful!!! With a jacuzzi and a pool, we could truly relax, and we will definitely come back again!! Thank you so much!!!

Although I have stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans in Japan and abroad, there are surprisingly few Hotels that I can look back on later and truly feel were a great stay. This time, however, even after more than a month, the wonderful afterglow of the trip still remains. The Room, restaurant, and pool were all impeccably maintained, with thoughtful attention evident everywhere—nothing felt lacking or excessive. A major reason was also the excellent hospitality from the female staff member who welcomed us from check-in. I was also happy that there were no guests being loud or disruptive, and I am truly grateful to have found a Hotel I can return to with a smile and say, “I’m home!”

This Accommodation, Sagamiya, was a wonderful place where we could truly feel traditional Japanese hospitality. As soon as we arrived by car, the staff noticed us right away and came out to assist, kindly helping us park with ease. They guided us to our Room, and the attendant came to greet us and made tea for us. These days we often stay at more Western-style Hotels, so it was a pleasure to enjoy this Japanese-style hospitality again after a long time. We enjoyed a delicious in-room meal in the tatami Room with a lovely view. The open-air bath in the Room was also excellent, and even one night was enough to leave us feeling fully refreshed. All of the staff were very pleasant. We also appreciated the many thoughtful touches throughout our stay—it felt reassuring that experienced staff could make good judgments on the spot. We would love to visit again.

After returning home, my son and I stayed for one night to take a short break. They kindly accommodated our requests, and every staff member we encountered was consistently warm, smiling, and attentive, making our stay truly comfortable. We stayed in a corner suite overlooking Nagasaki Port. The spacious Room was wonderful, and we could also enjoy the Nagasaki night view from the bathroom—an incredibly happy experience. As someone who stays at Hotels fairly often, I especially appreciated how every small detail had been thoughtfully considered—for example, towels were placed exactly where you’d want them near the toilet and sink—so there was nothing to worry about. It was great to feel such careful attention throughout. There were both dry and mist saunas, plus an outdoor cold plunge bath. The sauna and gym area also had coin lockers and showers; while compact, it was clearly a Facility designed with comfort in mind. The view from the infinity pool and the lounge were truly relaxing as well—we’re already saying that next time we’d love to book a Multiple Night Stay and take our time. Breakfast was excellent in volume, taste, and service—completely satisfying in every way. This time we bought various local specialties at the station to enjoy with the drinks in our Room, but next time we would definitely like to dine at the restaurant too.

This was our family’s first trip to Amakusa, Kumamoto, and we stayed here. We had been looking forward to it even before we arrived, and the Accommodation was even more stylish than we expected—everywhere we went, we could feel the great sense of design. The Room was very clean, and the view from the villa was amazing. There were activities to enjoy both indoors and outdoors, and our child had a wonderful time. We rented a BBQ set, and everything was provided—so it was incredibly convenient to just bring our own ingredients and enjoy. The older male staff member at reception was very friendly and kind, and we also enjoyed hearing various stories from him. Unfortunately he wasn’t there when we checked out, so we couldn’t thank him in person, which was a real shame—but we’d love to make another opportunity to visit Amakusa and stay again. There is nothing around the Accommodation, so it’s very quiet; we could also enjoy a sky full of stars, making for an extremely relaxing time. Since there isn’t anywhere within shopping distance from the Accommodation, it might be even more comfortable if reception offered some snacks or if light meals were available at a café or restaurant—but overall it truly was a completely satisfying stay and an unforgettable place. Thank you very much!

This was our fourth stay, and it never gets old. Every year, we have the best time. The entrance fragrance makes us feel like we’re back home, and the ocean view from the club lounge is breathtaking. The lounge sandwiches are delicious! The dinner-time menu has also been renewed, which made it even more satisfying. We also love how spacious the closet area in the Room is. The pool never feels overly crowded—just right. I’m writing this Review, but honestly, I almost don’t want to tell anyone because we love it so much that we worry it will become even more popular.

We visited as a family with our older children and their friends, along with our younger child. The older kids enjoyed SUP in the sea and the sauna, while the younger one fully enjoyed the pool. Since we had several boys with big appetites, we had a BBQ dinner using ingredients we brought with us. The seasonings and cooking utensils were well stocked, so we were able to prepare and enjoy our meal without any inconvenience. All of the staff were incredibly kind, and unlike many other places there weren’t lots of small rules or restrictions. They also kindly accommodated our requests, which made our stay very comfortable.\nThe amenities were high quality (including N organic), and the hair dryer and hair care items were all from ReFa, which my older daughter and I happily used.\nIn the morning we could even see Mt. Fuji across the sea—the views were simply amazing—and our whole family had a wonderful time. The only downside was that at bedtime, on both the first and second floors, the emergency exit signs were bright and a bit dazzling, making it slightly hard to sleep. Still, everything else was so great that we would definitely love to visit again. Thank you very much!

The location was absolutely amazing! The ocean was right in front of us, and the views were incredibly beautiful both in the morning and at sunset. The Room was spacious and spotless, and the pool and sauna were excellent. We relaxed in the evening while enjoying a BBQ, and everyone was very satisfied! Check-in was smooth, and the staff were polite and attentive. Highly recommended if you’re staying at a villa in Okinawa! We’d love to come back.

Our family of three stayed for 3 nights. Above all, the location—right in front of the ocean—was incredible. It’s set along the coastline that continues from Toguchi Beach, and it’s about a 5-minute walk to Toguchi Beach. It’s also less than a 10-minute drive from Irabu Ohashi Bridge, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. The daytime sea was beautiful, and the starry sky at night was just as amazing. On a morning after rain, we were even treated to the stunning sight of a huge rainbow over the ocean. The time we spent looking out at the sea and rainbow beyond the pool is especially unforgettable. In front of the villa there is also an area that feels like a small private beach. This time we gave up going into the sea due to an approaching tropical depression, but you can borrow pool items, sand-play toys, and life jackets as well. We were told that around typhoons, waves can wash away some of the sand and reduce the beach area. The pool is also just the right size for families to enjoy together. And what we especially loved was the BBQ. We bought our own ingredients and enjoyed lighting charcoal for the first time in a while. Having drinks while BBQing with the ocean right in front of us was unbeatable. The kitchen is stocked with most cooking utensils and basic seasonings, so self-catering is easy. There’s also a water dispenser, complimentary drinks in the refrigerator, plus a washer-dryer and detergent—very convenient for a Multiple Night Stay. Trash can be separated and left by the entrance in the morning for collection. We also appreciated being able to sleep comfortably on proper beds rather than an extra bed even with three people. There are four beds in total, so we were able to recover well from travel fatigue. The staff were very kind as well. This isn’t suited to those looking for full service like a luxury Hotel with staff on-site 24 hours a day, but during staffed hours they responded quickly whenever we needed something. On our last day they even came outside to see us off despite strong winds and heavy rain—we’re very grateful. Since it’s summer there are naturally some insects around, but insect spray and repellents are provided; we recommend setting them up soon after arrival. Geckos are part of island life too (in good humor). Perhaps because priority is given to views, there isn’t much eave overhang; during heavy rain we noticed some noise from raindrops hitting windows. That said, this means truly spectacular views from inside—the window soundproofing is excellent and normally you can barely hear waves indoors at all. If anything could be improved, having mats at both entrances (the front door and terrace) to brush off sand would be even more convenient. This is a villa where you can stay “as if living,” at your own pace. Our whole family was completely satisfied—it was an amazing 3-night/4-day stay!

The view from the window was breathtaking, and we were able to enjoy a truly luxurious time. The sunset in particular was stunning—better than we had imagined. We would definitely like to stay again.

This Accommodation comes highly recommended by a renowned Hotel critic. Although it is away from central Nagasaki, I think it is a Hotel well worth going out of your way to visit. The Room was of a level you normally couldn’t stay in at this price. We arrived early for check-in, and the staff recommended a walking route around the Hotel—about 40–50 minutes on foot. Since it feels quite isolated without a car, we also had dinner here. It’s an expensive set-course dinner, so my rating was slightly strict because of the price. They also offer an à la carte menu. For breakfast, I chose the Western option. It felt a little lacking that there was only one type of bread—the same round French loaf as at dinner. The Japanese breakfast might be more recommendable. I requested Shuttle Service from the port and communicated by email; their responses were fast and excellent. That alone shows this is a first-class Hotel. Because of the ferry schedule, it looked like we might arrive just before lunch service ended, but they did their best to accommodate our request (in the end we switched to an earlier ferry so it wasn’t necessary). Also, the ferry from Sasebo was not as rough as I had feared—an easy and comfortable 30 minutes. There’s too much to say here, but I’m truly grateful for all the thoughtful care shown by every member of staff. “A Hotel worth making your travel destination.” That’s what this place is.

As always, the hospitality was outstanding. Rather than a scripted approach, each staff member’s personality shines through in their service, which leaves a lasting impression and makes the stay truly comfortable. I always hope to be the kind of guest the team is happy to welcome. This time we also used your affiliated golf course and a restaurant at The Busena Terrace, and it was very reassuring that information was shared seamlessly between them. It was the busy summer holiday season with many families, but since it was just the two of us as a couple, The Atta Terrace felt calm and especially relaxing. On our way home we talked about wanting to stay for about a week next time. We’ll do our best until we can return again.

We visited to enjoy a family vacation. THE HOUSE has wonderful taste. From the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love with the ocean view stretching across the entire window. We were also captivated by the sight of Mt. Fuji glowing in the sunset, and couldn’t stop taking photos. There was an original photo book casually placed there, and when we opened it, inspiring words appeared, which conveyed the lovely thoughts behind this place when it was built. Since it was Golden Week, Aburatsubo and Misaki Port were crowded, but coming back felt like returning to a secluded private villa where we could truly rest and enjoy the quiet. Also, at a Hotel or Ryokan you can feel slightly rushed about breakfast times, so it was great to spend relaxed “THE HOUSE time” without that. Our dog could also stretch out and seemed very happy. Thank you very much.

Because it is not a large Hotel, we felt close to the staff and were able to spend our time in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Above all, the dining at Tin’in was outstanding—seeing a French chef’s take on somen champuru was a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed each dish as it was served one after another, and breakfast the next morning was just as memorable, letting us savor the lingering impressions from the night before. I haven’t tried egg benedict in many places, but this was the best I’ve ever had. If I have the chance to visit Miyakojima again, I would definitely like to stay here.
