I have stayed at many hotels considered top-class, but this was the best experience I have ever had. As others have said, the hospitality was truly exceptional—beyond what I could have expected. Breakfast from Gion Kawakami was also an outstanding experience. I would love to visit again in a different season.

The kaiseki dinner was absolutely delicious. Every dish was exquisite and carefully prepared, with flavors and creativity that set it apart from typical kaiseki—I could really feel the chef’s attention to detail. It was so good I wanted to meet the head chef. If it was this amazing in August, I can only imagine how incredible it will be during crab season. I’d love to visit again in crab season. Thank you very much.

I became a fan of The Gate Hotel in Kyoto, so I stayed here in Osaka as well. The location is, of course, excellent. Every Room offers a wonderful view. The interior is clean and efficiently designed. Details like the side tables use eco-friendly materials, giving it a modern feel throughout. Breakfast was delicious across the board, and I was very satisfied. I will stay again.

This was my first stay here. The Facility was excellent, and the staff were wonderful. Everything I had always wished for when staying elsewhere was provided, and I was very satisfied. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Everything was simply wonderful. The Room had a beautiful night view, and the Hotel was calm and relaxing. The location was great, and we were able to unwind. Having the bathroom and toilet separate was exactly what we wanted, and it really helped. My husband was very happy, and we were able to have the best celebration. We would love to stay again.

I love Tokyo’s night views, so I choose places to stay with beautiful scenery at night. I stayed in the Ryogoku area a few years ago and was impressed by the rooftop terrace night view. Since then, I’ve wanted to visit the Kaminarimon area someday. The rooftop night views are hard to compare! However, the views from the lobby and restaurant were even more impressive here. Just one thing: I sat in a back seat at breakfast, but there was no 안내 about where to find drinks like orange juice near the counter right after entering. I only noticed on my way out and felt disappointed. The IKYU Platinum benefit—unlimited coffee at the restaurant anytime for two days—was an excellent perk. I’d be happy if other hotels offered this benefit too! This is a hotel I definitely want to visit again.

The day before my stay, I noticed a mistake in my Reservation and contacted them. They responded politely, explained any additional charges, and I was able to stay without any issues. The cleaning staff also greeted me with a smile, which made it a wonderful trip. I would like to stay again!

Within walking distance of Tomari Port, this Accommodation is in an ideal location for those heading out to the Kerama Islands. The Room was spotless, and the front desk service was excellent—nothing to fault. Their efforts, such as complimentary drinks, are impressive, and having a pool is another big plus. Personally, I highly recommend it. It felt like there were many international guests and some lively visitors. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it may not suit those who prefer a quiet Accommodation.

This was my third stay, and each time I visit, I’m reminded of how wonderful this Ryokan is. The staff’s warm smiles and thoughtful hospitality, the comfortable Room, the soothing Onsen, the breathtaking views from the guest rooms and rooftop terrace, and the beautifully crafted dishes served at the dining venue “Higashiyama”—everything made for a truly satisfying stay. The location is also very convenient. On the day of my stay, I was also able to enjoy seeing a Gion Festival mikoshi procession, which made it an unexpectedly lucky experience. I would love to visit again.

This was my first time in Himeji to see an opera. I considered other options, but chose this Hotel because of the Nikko brand, a separate bath and toilet, on-site parking, and even a club floor. However, the parking lot fills up quickly (it’s near the station and there aren’t many spaces), which made me nervous as a guest traveling from far away. A male staff member at the parking entrance kindly secured the last available space for me, which was a huge help—thank you very much. It would be great if parking could be reserved when making a Reservation, though I understand it may be difficult to manage. I also appreciated that parking is free for club-floor guests. The Facility feels a bit dated in places, but the Room has been renovated for comfort and convenience, with no shortage of amenities. The ReFa shower and hair dryer were excellent. The toilet wasn’t just updated cosmetically—the fixtures and piping also seemed new, making it very easy to use. The pajamas were a comfortable two-piece set with a soft feel and relaxed fit. It was quiet at night and I slept very well. The lounge made me wonder if this price is really okay—the food and drinks were impressively plentiful. Not only alcohol but also a great selection of HARNEY & SONS teas; the cinnamon tea recommended by one of the hotel staff was so good that I bought some afterward. Overall, the service was pleasant throughout and I could truly relax. Breakfast offered an extensive variety of both Japanese- and Western-style dishes—so much that even with my big appetite I couldn’t try everything. Live-cooked egg dishes are common at Hotels, but this was my first time seeing burgers made to order right in front of me. The burger was delicious—and perfectly sized as well. And the Awaji Island milk was outstanding. With no time limits on parking or lounge access, I could visit Himeji Castle and shop in the arcade as well. This isn’t just convenient for guests—it also feels like support for local revitalization efforts. Breakfast included many locally inspired items, and even the vending machines next to reception carried products from local confectionery shops—another nice touch. I don’t often have reasons to come to Himeji, but I’d love to return for a relaxing staycation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

This was a wonderful Hotel with great taste felt in every detail, and it made me want to take lots of photos. The Bulgari Bar was a spacious, relaxing place that made me feel like I was abroad. In the Room, they had kindly prepared fresh fruit for us, which helped soothe the fatigue of traveling. For breakfast, we had the Gymnasium Breakfast, and every item was a special menu that felt gentle on the body. The freshly pressed apple juice was also unbelievably delicious. We also enjoyed lunch at the Italian restaurant, and thanks to the staff’s warm kindness, my daughter and I had a truly pleasant time together. I would definitely recommend lunch at the Italian restaurant as well. I bought chocolates as souvenirs, and even after returning home, I continued to savor the wonderful memories of our time at Bulgari Hotel. I would love to stay again.

I stayed with the No Meals Included plan. There was a minor misunderstanding at check-in, but it is a very good Hotel. The lounge access, the generous late-night snack, and the staff service were all excellent. Even after checkout, when I went to pick up my luggage, a male staff member said, “Please take a break before you go. Help yourself to a drink as well.” It was a hot day, so I really appreciated it. The Room was spacious and easy to use, and it offered great value for the price. I would like to stay here again.

I stayed here as a birthday gift for my sister. We were amazed the moment we entered the Room—not only did you prepare a Room with a view of the five-story pagoda, but you also gifted us sparkling wine to celebrate. My sister was absolutely thrilled. In the lounge, we enjoyed a wide variety of drinks and alcohol, along with visually stunning sweets and carefully crafted dishes. At night, we dined at the rooftop bar while taking in Kyoto’s night views. For breakfast, I chose a conger eel hot pot—something rare for a Hotel breakfast—and truly savored Kyoto’s summer flavors. We were also able to visit Kiyomizu-dera early in the morning when it was quiet and uncrowded, which made us very happy. It seems it became a wonderful memory for my sister as well. Thank you very much for taking so many photos for us.

This is a very comfortable Hotel to stay at. I was very satisfied with the Facilities, including the cafe hours, the large public bath, and the sauna, and my stay was pleasant. Although I also stay at luxury Hotels, this Hotel—especially thanks to the staff—stood out as truly considerate and welcoming for guests. I also appreciate how you handled an unexpected incident. I would definitely like to stay here again next time.

This was my second stay. Recently I had been staying mostly at Hotels directly connected to Niigata Station or close to the station, but I made a Reservation this time because I wanted to enjoy this breakfast buffet again after a long time. I was a little disappointed that there were fewer varieties of branded rice than before, but everything paired perfectly with rice and was very delicious. With three kinds of yogurt and four kinds of fruit, it was a very satisfying breakfast. The Room was also very clean and comfortable. I would like to stay here again.

My spouse and I stayed here, and it was such a wonderful Hotel that we truly thought, “We definitely want to stay again.” The moment we stepped into the Room, a soft, pleasant aroma filled the air—and beyond that were huge windows spanning the entire space. The beautiful ocean stretched across the whole view, and we were so moved that we couldn’t help saying “Wow.” Even in the morning, when we got out of bed and opened the curtains, we were amazed all over again by the sea right in front of us. It felt as if we were one with the ocean, and throughout our stay we found ourselves gazing out the window again and again. The dining was also outstanding. The Japanese course meal was delicious from start to finish, and you could really taste how fresh each ingredient was. We also enjoyed the drink pairing with each dish—it was such a fun experience, and savoring each combination together became a special memory for us. Thanks to our Diamond member benefit with a 12:00 checkout time, after the standard 11:00 checkout we were able to use the rooftop lounge almost as if it were reserved just for us. Sitting in that quiet space with no one else around—enjoying coffee while looking out at the sea—was pure bliss. It felt like an incredibly luxurious moment with an ocean view all to ourselves. The staff’s attentiveness was exceptional as well. At dinner, a male staff member thoughtfully timed our drinks perfectly and shared details about each dish; at breakfast, a young female staff member was cheerful and easy to talk to, and her friendly conversation made everything taste even better. I was also touched when a housekeeping staff member noticed I had both hands full of coffee cups and quickly opened the door for me. One small note: the road leading to the Hotel is quite narrow, and since it was during Obon with many pedestrians around, I felt a bit uneasy driving in. When I got lost on my first attempt and called the Hotel, a staff member came down to guide me—an act of kindness I truly appreciated. The view, food, and hospitality were all excellent—it was a relaxing stay that my spouse and I genuinely enjoyed from start to finish. We would love to return again.

We stayed here with our family of four during our trip to Kyoto and Osaka. Since we booked the Family Suite, we received services such as welcome drinks, and they even celebrated our child’s birthday for us—thank you very much. The Room was more than spacious enough, the amenities were well stocked, and the outstanding location with Osaka Castle towering right in front of us made us extremely satisfied. Breakfast was also high quality across the board and delicious. We are also grateful for the wonderful hospitality from everyone at the Hotel. Thanks to you, it became a truly memorable family trip. I stayed here last year to celebrate my birthday, loved it, and returned again this year for my birthday. This time, I truly appreciate your even more thoughtful hospitality. Thanks to you, I was able to relax wholeheartedly in my Room. This year’s concept was to take it slow at a Hotel. First, I enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay at a wonderful Hotel in Umekoji. Then I came here. Different in character, yet even better. It feels wonderfully calm. Perhaps it’s because you make the most of the location by the Kamo River and help us experience Kyoto so comfortably. In the midst of the bustle of Shijo-Kawaramachi, this is a space where you don’t feel any of that at all—remarkable. Your affiliated HIYORI Ocean Resort Okinawa is also one of my favorites—an exquisite Hotel that lets you truly feel the beauty of Onna Village. I’ve fallen for Soraniwa Terrace Kyoto as well! At this rate, I may end up coming back again for my birthday next year.

At my family’s request, we wanted to stay in Onomichi, so we asked in advance for a birthday cake for our child. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you very much. The cake had a gentle flavor, and the staff came to celebrate with us, creating a warm atmosphere. The view from the Room was amazing, and the meals featured local ingredients—we enjoyed plenty of fresh seafood. Although the weather was often rainy, they advised us on how to walk around the area while watching the weather and provided guidance on nearby stations, so we were able to visit most of the places we wanted to see.

This was our fourth stay. Thank you for the kind and attentive service from the staff. We were very satisfied with the Onsen, which we could use even late at night, as well as the ice cream, Yakult, and drinks available afterward. It was a wonderful three-day stay.
