My first time on the Oga Peninsula. I was lucky to find such a wonderful Accommodation, and it made my summer memories even more special. I was completely satisfied with everything—the Room, the view, the meals, and the Onsen—but the quality of the Onsen water was especially outstanding. My partner tends to get facial redness from inflammation, and in summer it gets worse, possibly due to UV exposure. After soaking in the Onsen, the redness eased significantly, which made them very happy—they kept using the bath in our Room and even soaked their face repeatedly. If I could add just one request: my partner loves ice cream and tends to prefer Accommodations that offer it as a way to cool down after an Onsen bath. We would have been happy if there had been a small selection of ice cream available in the lounge. Next time, I’d like to visit in a different season.

We made a Reservation to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was very calm, and it was so quiet and relaxing that we almost forgot we were in Dogo. The Onsen was wonderful, and we were amazed by the generous breakfast. We enjoyed a luxurious meal in the morning and then relaxed again in the Onsen. The hostess and all the staff provided outstanding service. We would love to stay here again.

Our adults-only family stay was wonderful. With spacious beds, a Room featuring an open-air Onsen bath, and a location overlooking Matsuyama Castle, we ended up spending a lot of time relaxing in the Room. The amenities were excellent, including the in-room hair dryer (it was a ReFa), and every detail was thoughtfully arranged to eliminate the little stresses that can come with traveling. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and generously portioned, and we truly felt the warm hospitality throughout our stay. As a souvenir, we bought the diffuser that scented the property; its fresh citrus fragrance still brings back memories of our lovely time here even after returning home. Thank you very much. This is an Accommodation I would highly recommend to anyone planning to visit Dogo Onsen.

This was a wonderful guest Room worthy of the “Special Suite Annex.” In particular, the Japanese-style Room facing Lake Shinji was a corner Room with a small Japanese garden, and we were able to relax while sitting on the veranda. It was unfortunate that we couldn’t go out onto the terrace due to the rain, but we were able to take our time soaking in the Onsen in the in-Room scenic-view bath while looking out over Lake Shinji. Each dish was excellent, and the sea bream rice at breakfast was outstanding.

We stayed as a mother-and-daughter trip to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We have stayed at many Accommodations, but our time at Fufu Nikko was truly unforgettable and the best experience we could have hoped for. The Room was extremely comfortable, and the in-room Onsen was wonderfully relaxing—we enjoyed it many times during our stay. The dining was also outstanding. Each dish was beautiful to look at, thoughtfully presented on lovely tableware, and you could really feel the care and attention behind every detail. Everything tasted delicious. The final dish—rice with conger eel and lotus root—was especially wonderful, but we were so full that we couldn’t finish it. That is my only regret. Even now, my daughter and I still say, “We wish we had eaten it all.” The whole cake we requested in advance for my daughter’s birthday was also set up beautifully when we returned to our Room after dinner. They even added flowers along with the cake, and my daughter was deeply touched by their thoughtfulness. Thanks to you, it became a truly memorable birthday. Above all, what stayed with us most was the hospitality of the staff. From the warm welcome on arrival to the heartfelt send-off at departure, everything felt comfortable. Wherever we met someone, they greeted us kindly, and each small gesture of consideration felt genuinely warm. The explanations of each course were clear and attentive, and the casual conversations in between were enjoyable as well. The service never felt formal or stiff—just perfectly attentive with a comfortable sense of distance—and both my daughter and I were completely charmed. Of course the Facility and cuisine were exceptional, but this stay reminded me that what ultimately makes you think “I want to come back” is always the people. Even after returning home, my daughter and I haven’t stopped talking about Fufu Nikko. We’ve become big fans of “Fufu,” and are already planning which Fufu property to visit next—with hopes of visiting them all someday. I sincerely thank all of your staff for making this important birthday trip with my daughter such a wonderful memory. We will definitely return again. Thank you very much.

Due to a change of plans, I made a Reservation the day before. It was a rainy day and I arrived early, but I was able to choose a book from the many available and enjoy reading at a relaxed pace with a cup of coffee in hand. The spacious bath, especially the bubble bath, was very soothing. The meals were so plentiful that I couldn’t finish everything. The sunrise the next morning was beautiful. There were also goats and rabbits, and if it were closer, it’s a place where I’d love to bring my dog for a Multiple Night Stay.

From the moment we were picked up, the hospitality had already begun. We were completely satisfied with everything—from the guidance along the way to the warm welcome after arrival. Of course, we also enjoyed delicious meals. In the morning, we woke up to a ship’s whistle. The ever-changing view of the tides was truly soothing. We would love to visit again in another season.

We stayed here to celebrate a proposal—one of life’s most important milestones. What impressed us most during our stay was the thoughtful attention from everyone, especially the person in charge. For the surprise proposal, they handled everything flexibly to match the situation, including preparing and handing over the cake and bouquet, which allowed me to feel at ease on the day. Thanks to that support, it became an unforgettable, truly wonderful time. Every dish was genuinely delicious, and the explanations were perfectly paced—not too long or too short—so we could enjoy not only the flavors but also the dining experience itself. The atmosphere inside the Accommodation and the views were also outstanding, and we were able to relax from the heart. Above all, we were so happy that their desire to make our stay memorable came through in every interaction. Thanks to them, both my partner and I naturally found ourselves saying, “Let’s definitely come back for anniversaries,” and it became two irreplaceable days for us. I am truly grateful that we could welcome such an important moment of our lives at this Accommodation. This is a wonderful Accommodation I can confidently recommend to anyone who wants to spend special time with someone important—whether for a proposal or a wedding anniversary. Next time we visit, I hope we can return as husband and wife.

My stay after four months was blessed with beautiful weather, and I was able to relax while taking in the breathtaking ocean views at the end of summer. The greatest charm of Umi no Shogetsu is the elegant time you can enjoy while staying in your Room. The sea stretches out beyond the window, and inside there is stylish furniture and a spacious layout—so you can soak in an open-air bath while admiring the spectacular view without ever leaving your Room. Meals are prepared in the dining area rather than served in-room, so after dining you can return to your Room right away and unwind in your own private space. If I want to be active—exploring or trying experiences—a City Hotel, or even a Business Hotel, feels functional and suits me. But when I want to truly savor time itself, I find myself wanting to visit Umi no Shogetsu. The monthly seasonal kaiseki crafted by the head chef is delicate and exceptionally delicious. I also appreciate the staff’s subtle warmth that never intrudes on privacy. The lovely flowers arranged throughout the property—sometimes charming, sometimes beautifully vibrant—are wonderful as well. Thank you always for everything. We will visit again to enjoy our own luxurious time here. Thank you very much.

We visited to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. It was a long drive from Yokohama to Nagano, but this was a wonderful Accommodation that truly made us glad we came. The in-room open-air bath was a little hot and needed some adjustment, but it was clean, spacious, and free of insects. The shampoo and conditioner also left our hair smooth and silky. (Some Ryokan at this level still leave your hair feeling rough.) All the staff who welcomed us were smiling, and during dinner the head chef served the main dish right at our table. Everything was delicious—made with local ingredients and carefully prepared with great attention to detail. On our way out, they even opened the souvenir shop in the main building earlier for us, so I was happy to be able to buy the souvenirs I wanted. My parents were very pleased as well, so we would love to visit again while they are still healthy.

Perhaps because it has been renovated, the Room was clean. For this price, it was great to have the bath and toilet separated, and I also appreciated having space to wash. If I have another opportunity, I would like to stay again.

We visited with my son’s family. Traveling with our 8-month-old baby, we had some concerns, but even though we made Reservations for two Rooms on different dates, the staff kindly arranged for us to dine together and showed thoughtful care in many situations, which made our stay truly enjoyable. Thank you very much—it became a wonderful memory. My son’s family also said they would like to come again, and we hope to visit again as well.

Thank you for your continued support. This is an Accommodation my mother loves, and we have stayed here many times after visiting our family grave in Kyoto. The staff are always wonderful, and although I make the Reservation on her behalf, I ask for various requests each time. After her stay, when I asked how the Accommodation was, she happily told me that this time she enjoyed all of the women’s baths. It seems she was also able to fully relax and enjoy the private open-air bath. We are grateful every time for the thoughtful care shown by your staff. We have a Reservation at year-end as well, and we would appreciate your kind attention to my parents again then.

I’ve been a repeat guest for over 20 years. The interior has been renovated, and even in the 12-tatami Room at Yume Daichi, four adults were able to spend time comfortably. The view from the bath was outstanding, and thanks to the sunrise time 안내 provided, I was able to take beautiful photos of the sunrise while walking along the corridor. The morning bath at Tenku no Shizuku was truly spectacular, with bands of light gradually shimmering and stretching out. The quality of the dinner was even better than during my previous stay, and the portions were perfectly planned. I enjoyed everything right through to dessert. I also appreciated the service of turning the leftover octopus rice into rice balls. At breakfast, they kindly suggested a cart for carrying trays out of consideration for my elderly mother. From those who delivered in-room meals to all staff members, I was extremely satisfied with their attentive service. This is an Accommodation I’d like to visit every year.

On August 3, the annual Iyo-Ozu Hijikawa Fireworks Festival is held, so I made a Reservation for a Room with a close-up view of Ozu Castle. In the early evening, we finished dinner at the Hotel’s French restaurant “Le Un,” then returned to our cool, air-conditioned Room and waited excitedly for the fireworks to begin, sipping wine while admiring the illuminated Ozu Castle. Ozu is known as “Little Kyoto,” and in summer the basin heat and humidity linger even at night. But because of this terrain, the sound of the fireworks echoes off the surrounding mountains into a tremendous roar—more powerful than any fireworks I’ve ever experienced. This time I discovered a new style of Hotel created by renovating historic traditional houses scattered throughout Ozu, making it a truly meaningful summer trip.

I stayed here last year and was very satisfied, so I chose this Hotel again this year. Above all, the highlight is the wide variety of food. Everything was delicious, and I ended up going back for seconds many times. The pork shabu-shabu served in a small hot pot was especially outstanding, and I loved that you can shabu-shabu not only pork but also seafood. With several broth options to choose from, I could enjoy it exactly the way I like. In addition, there were sushi and sashimi, Tokushima ramen, freshly fried tempura, and a great selection of other dishes such as crispy lotus root and sweet potato chips—so much variety that I enjoyed every bite without getting bored until the very end. At the large public bath, bath towels and face towels were provided in the lobby area, so it was very comfortable to be able to use fresh towels each time. There was also complimentary ice cream after bathing, which felt like a thoughtful touch. The night view from my Room was also wonderful—the sparkling city lights were truly beautiful and made for an unforgettable moment. I was completely satisfied with everything—food, baths, service, and views—and it’s a fantastic Hotel that makes me want to come back again.

The staff’s hospitality, the cleanliness of the Room, the delicious meals, and the large public bath—everything was wonderful, and we had a truly lovely time. They even lent us towels and parasols for going to the outside baths, and we really appreciated their thoughtful attention to every detail. I had always wanted to try “tap” mandarin orange juice, but I never expected to experience it at a Hotel—what a delightful surprise. Every dish in the kaiseki dinner was delicious. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of items, all of them tasty, and our child was thrilled and ate plenty as well. If we have another chance to stay in Dogo Onsen, we would definitely like to stay here again! Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

Although I often stay in Kirishima Onsen, this was my first time in Hitoyoshi Onsen, so I chose a relatively new Accommodation. It turned out to be the perfect choice, and on the way home my companion and I kept saying, “We’re glad we picked this place.” First of all, the Facility itself is new and very well cleaned, so check-in felt comfortable and pleasant. Next, the baths: both the indoor bath and open-air bath are stone-built with deep tubs; the water was pleasantly hot and gentle on the skin—truly a “beauty bath” quality—and I was very satisfied. Meals were served for both breakfast and dinner using local ingredients in thoughtful detail; everything was delicious in just the right portions. When visiting Kumamoto I had been hoping for basashi (horse sashimi), but it wasn’t included in this Plan; it was available to order separately, so I enjoyed it that way. What helped us most was assistance with making Reservations for lunch the next day and for activity facilities, as well as answering detailed questions. They kindly accommodated our requests—such as “I want to eat seasonal salt-grilled ayu” and “I’d like to try pottery on a wheel”—all with a smile. Thank you also for seeing us off even in light rain without opening an umbrella. The salt-grilled ayu at the restaurant you recommended was excellent, and we each made pottery pieces (a plate, a bowl, and a beer glass). After firing them in the kiln, they will be glazed in our requested colors that same day and then shipped to our home once finished—we’re looking forward to receiving them. I would love to visit again; however, there is one disappointing point: there is only one Room type available for stays of two or more people, so I would appreciate more options. Thank you very much for everything.

We had a very comfortable stay. We stayed in the Comfort Extra Twin Room. Within its compact layout, it features a bathroom with a washing area, a separate toilet, and a washbasin. Shoes are not allowed on the floor inside the Room. It was perfect for us: we didn’t need a large, luxurious Room and wanted to keep costs down, but still wanted to relax in a proper bath and use the toilet without feeling self-conscious—this Room met all of those needs. One small note: since there is only a curtain separating the beds from the washbasin (i.e., the changing area), some guests may find that bothersome. As we were traveling as a family with small children, it didn’t bother us at all. Other perks included borrowing manga to read, an on-site coin laundry, welcome drinks, and good value benefits.

I stayed one night at Seito in Tateyama and was able to truly relax both physically and mentally. The Accommodation had a calm, clean atmosphere, and the staff were courteous and attentive, which made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. From my room, I could see Tateyama’s gentle sea, and at sunset I found myself sitting by the window for quite a while just taking in the view. The meals featured plenty of local ingredients; in particular, the fish dishes were fresh and full of flavor, making the trip even more enjoyable. The semi-open-air bath was also perfect—the water temperature was just right, and it felt like my everyday fatigue slowly melted away. Overall, I felt this is an Accommodation with exceptionally high satisfaction for anyone who wants to spend time quietly. It was a stay that made me want to return in a different season.
