This was our first time staying here. I stayed with my wife and our 0-year-old baby. Everything was simply wonderful. We were truly impressed by the thoughtful attention to detail and excellent service throughout. My wife and I agreed that when we come to Kirishima again, we would like to book a Multiple Night Stay here. Thank you very much.

We stayed with my parents as a family. We traveled with a school-aged child and an infant, and the in-Room bath made our stay very comfortable. We truly appreciate your thoughtful consideration for our children during meals. The garden view and the river view from the open-air bath were so relaxing. My parents were very happy, and it gave us a wonderful chance to show our appreciation. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay. (Room name: Akebono-an) It was extremely comfortable, and I was able to relax and take my time. All of the staff were very kind, and it left a strong impression on me how they always greeted me with a smile. In particular, the staff member in charge of our Room supported us thoughtfully in every way—from day-to-day needs to sightseeing advice and suggestions—and I truly appreciated it. They also kindly accommodated a change to the Shuttle Service pickup/drop-off location due to our circumstances, and they handled food allergies properly as well, so we were able to stay with peace of mind. The Room had a modern, sophisticated design and was wonderful. Everything was thoroughly cleaned down to the smallest details, and it felt very fresh and spotless. I was also happy that it even had a mist sauna. Above all, the mountain views from the Room were spectacular, and we could spend time leisurely while enjoying the open scenery. Also, because meals were served in-room, we could relax in a quiet environment without worrying about surrounding noise—this was another highlight. The amenities (such as Touvert lotion) were high quality as well, and you could feel the attention to detail throughout. On the other hand, there were a few points that I felt could make it even more comfortable. If a hair iron were provided, it would be more convenient for women. Also, for indoor slippers within the building: rather than using them only up to the shoe cabinet partway down the corridor, I felt it would be clearer if guests could wear them all the way to each Room entrance—so you don’t have to walk barefoot or risk slippers being mixed up. Regarding the Room design: I thought removing closet doors and making it open would not only improve usability but also better match the current modern and refined atmosphere. The lighting around the washbasin area was slightly dim, which felt somewhat inconvenient when getting ready. I moved a tabletop mirror into the dining area to do my makeup; if that area could be made brighter around the sink counter, it would be easier to use. Also regarding shower fixtures: having an additional holder positioned at a height suitable for showering while standing would be even more convenient. I’ve listed several requests above; however overall this was an extremely satisfying stay. Thanks to everyone’s warm hospitality among your staff members at this Accommodation , we were able to spend our time comfortably and at ease. We would love to visit again.

The female staff member at reception during check-in impressed me with her proactive, exemplary hospitality. I stay at Hotels for a change of pace, and this Hotel made me feel at ease in every way—facilities, staff, and overall comfort—with no small discomforts. It was part of the Plan, but I gladly took them up on it and stayed for 24 hours. At reception, they said, “Please let us know if there is anything you need,” showing a positive attitude. At the restaurant as well: “Please relax and enjoy your stay.” They even asked, “Did you sleep well?” You don’t often hear that elsewhere. It had been a while since I stayed at a major international chain Hotel, and their training truly showed. The Room design is also charming. I can see why it’s popular with guests from both Japan and abroad.

I stayed for two nights starting July 22. This time, my Room faced the Nasu mountain range, so the view was wonderful. The meals were delicious again. Since this was my second stay in July, you kindly changed the menu for me. Next time, I’ll visit with my children and their family.

Although I often stay in Kirishima Onsen, this was my first time in Hitoyoshi Onsen, so I chose a relatively new Accommodation. It turned out to be the perfect choice, and on the way home my companion and I kept saying, “We’re glad we picked this place.” First of all, the Facility itself is new and very well cleaned, so check-in felt comfortable and pleasant. Next, the baths: both the indoor bath and open-air bath are stone-built with deep tubs; the water was pleasantly hot and gentle on the skin—truly a “beauty bath” quality—and I was very satisfied. Meals were served for both breakfast and dinner using local ingredients in thoughtful detail; everything was delicious in just the right portions. When visiting Kumamoto I had been hoping for basashi (horse sashimi), but it wasn’t included in this Plan; it was available to order separately, so I enjoyed it that way. What helped us most was assistance with making Reservations for lunch the next day and for activity facilities, as well as answering detailed questions. They kindly accommodated our requests—such as “I want to eat seasonal salt-grilled ayu” and “I’d like to try pottery on a wheel”—all with a smile. Thank you also for seeing us off even in light rain without opening an umbrella. The salt-grilled ayu at the restaurant you recommended was excellent, and we each made pottery pieces (a plate, a bowl, and a beer glass). After firing them in the kiln, they will be glazed in our requested colors that same day and then shipped to our home once finished—we’re looking forward to receiving them. I would love to visit again; however, there is one disappointing point: there is only one Room type available for stays of two or more people, so I would appreciate more options. We visited with my son’s family. Traveling with our 8-month-old baby, we had some concerns, but even though we made Reservations for two Rooms on different dates, the staff kindly arranged for us to dine together and showed thoughtful care in many situations, which made our stay truly enjoyable. Thank you very much—it became a wonderful memory. My son’s family also said they would like to come again, and we hope to visit again as well.

The cuisine, Room, Onsen, and service were all excellent. It truly made us want to come back! At the end of our summer vacation, we made wonderful memories here and felt motivated to work hard again. We have stayed at other Accommodations in Ikaho several times, but Kogure is the best. Please continue your warm hospitality and bring comfort to many more guests.

The Onsen water has a silky, soothing quality and feels wonderful, but above all, the kids’ room was fantastic. Our 3-year-old grandchild loves it and had fun the entire time again on this visit. Seeing that happy smile is the best gift for us grandparents. This is our third stay this year, and we also have a Reservation for December 31 at year-end.

We were extremely satisfied with everything—the Facility, the food, the bath, and the hospitality. It was a wonderful Accommodation. Thank you very much.

If you’re staying in Gero for the architecture, Yunoshimakan is the place; if you’re staying for great food, I’d say this is it—Suimeien. Every dish was delicious, and the ayu sweetfish in particular was outstanding. The annex where we stayed was an adults-only area, which may be why it was so quiet at night. I was able to truly relax for the first time in a while. It also felt special to have access to a private Onsen reserved exclusively for annex guests—it was a fun and memorable experience. Both large public baths had towels available at the entrance, so there was no need to go back to the Room to get one. I could enjoy the Onsen anytime on a whim without bringing anything with me. (I especially liked the large bath on the first floor.) There is also a spot inside where you can enjoy coffee while looking outside; after breakfast, I spent a relaxing time reading there. I was amazed at how spotless everything was throughout the property—surely thanks to the excellent work of your housekeeping staff. It truly became a wonderful trip. Thank you very much. I will definitely stay again.

We stay here mainly for Arashi no Yu, and it’s always one amazing experience after another—thank you again this time. The table tennis & darts Room was a hidden gem, and the kids were thrilled! If I had one request, it would be to have some board games the kids can enjoy (even something like UNO) in the table tennis Room or at the front desk—then children wouldn’t get bored even during a Multiple Night Stay. In any case, thank you as always for another wonderful stay.

I’d been wanting to visit Japan’s highest-altitude Onsen for a long time, and after reading various Reviews, I chose this Accommodation. The Shuttle Service from Karuizawa Station was also a big plus. The indoor bath has some small windows partially open, so you can feel the breeze and enjoy it almost like an open-air bath. The open-air bath is about a 2-minute walk after going outside, so honestly I thought it might be a bit of a hassle. But once I got in, I forgot all about that. The view and the water were amazing. I will definitely come again! However, the wooden walkway on the way shows some wear, so if you have mobility issues, please be careful when walking in slippers. Also, after rain it’s downhill and may be slippery. The buffet also offered health-conscious options, and everything was delicious. Thank you to everyone at the Accommodation—the staff and the driver—for your hospitality.

I’m a returning guest. The five open-air baths are truly outstanding. The food is delicious, and it’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

The facilities were kept very clean, and the staff were kind and attentive, so we had a wonderful stay. Just as we had heard, the hot spring water quality was excellent, and the open-air bath was fantastic. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

This was our 12th stay. It’s one of our favorite Accommodations as a couple. We love being able to relax in a quiet place with nothing around. The Room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We would be happy if there were a small buffet, such as a salad bar, not only at breakfast but also at dinner. We had another very pleasant stay this time as well. We’d love to come again. A well-balanced breakfast gave me the energy to head to work, and the large bath helped me unwind after a long day. Despite the clean Room and convenient location, the price is reasonable. There are no excessive amenities, but all necessary services are well provided, making my business trip comfortable. They also handled taxi arrangements with great care, and I felt it was a Hotel where I could stay with peace of mind. I was also satisfied with the user-friendly in-Room features such as a TV that shows how crowded the dining area and large public bath are, as well as an air purifier.

The complimentary treats like popcorn and shaved ice were especially great, and we also enjoyed fun extras such as the bubble bath. Since children stay free, it’s an excellent choice for families with kids. If I have a chance to visit Osaka again, I’d love to stay here. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Ever since I happened to stay here on a trip to Wakayama, I’ve been coming back regularly. This is already my third stay. I get the sense it used to be a love hotel, but in any case, it’s extremely clean and comfortable. For this level of quality, the value for money is outstanding. Highlights: The Room is very spacious and spotless. The toilet and bathroom are separate, and the bath is large enough to soak properly in the tub. The bed is double-sized and roomy. Amenities are well stocked. I still haven’t found any downsides lol. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in Wakayama.

Although we arrived in rainy weather, we were warmly welcomed by many staff members, making for a wonderful start that almost felt more than we deserved. The building, designated as a Tangible Cultural Property, has a rich sense of history, yet it is meticulously maintained throughout, allowing us to relax in complete comfort. In addition to the pleasantly warm and soothing Onsen, the cuisine was truly outstanding. On departure, they even took a complimentary commemorative photo and later sent it to our home—such a thoughtful gesture that made this an unforgettable memory. Everything was exceptional, including the hospitality, and this is an Accommodation we would love to stay at again. Thank you very much.
