Last year’s stay left such a lasting impression that I made a Reservation six months in advance this year for a Multiple Night Stay (two nights). Time passes quietly here. Greenery outside the window, birdsong, and thoughtful, understated hospitality. Not flashy—just being here makes you feel your mind and body unwind. This is the kind of time that makes you think, “I want to come back.” Once again this year, I was moved by the same unchanging comfort.

My friend and I stayed for one night and two days. That morning, we joined a river kayaking tour, and since there were no changing facilities near the river, I asked if it would be okay to arrive still wearing our wet wetsuits. They kindly agreed, which I truly appreciated. We were dropped off by the tour staff, and the moment we arrived, the breathtaking view of a beautiful infinity pool under a clear blue sky spread out before us—I couldn’t help but shout, “Wow, amazing!” We were shown to seats by the poolside, and even before checking in my friend said, “Wow… I should’ve brought my laptop. Next time we have to bring our laptops and stay longer for a workcation.” We were then shown to our Room. When I tried to open my suitcase, it wouldn’t open—an unexpected mishap—but after speaking with the butler right away they prepared an adorable tracksuit that could be worn over swimwear and arranged a rental car for us. Thanks to that, we were able to get it opened at a local gas station we had found in advance. For dinner, they prepared a handmade welcome plate inspired by the kayaking experience and the sea turtle nesting observation tour we had done—it was moving from the moment we sat down. Every dish was something new to us and absolutely delicious; in particular, I loved the peach sorbet served by the pastry chef. We got so caught up in eating and chatting that we stayed late, yet the chef still came out with a smile to see us off all the way until we boarded the golf cart back to our Room. The next morning we joined a kokedama (moss ball) workshop and enjoyed making one while learning all kinds of things about plants. I’ve forgotten the plant’s name now, but when I mentioned that I like tea, they also wrapped large leaves that can be enjoyed as tea together with my kokedama. We were probably the noisiest guests during our stay as just two people, yet everyone treated us with kindness until the very end—I’m nothing but grateful. Next time, I plan to bring my laptop and come back for a longer workcation stay.

Despite booking on short notice, we found a wonderful Accommodation. In response to our request for consideration regarding parking, you contacted us immediately, and we truly appreciate your exceptionally prompt support—something we rarely experience even after staying at many Accommodations. The amenities were excellent, and the two of us were already talking about visiting again soon. We hope to build a long and positive relationship with you.

It was a wonderful stay. I hope to visit again someday. If I could make one request, I would have preferred the bedside water to be a Japanese brand as well.

My wife and I stayed here as a reward after work. Everything was wonderful—the butler service, the food, and the atmosphere. The early evening with a hint of autumn and the refreshing mornings were both amazing. Staying for about two nights would be perfect. Next time, I’d like to try another Room as well. Thank you—my wife was very satisfied too. The meat miso we received was so good we couldn’t stop eating rice.

It was a calm, adults-only Accommodation with a relaxing atmosphere. The attentive service, guest room, and bath facilities were all high quality, and we were very satisfied. The meals were not too much—just the right amount for seniors—and truly excellent. Finally, I sincerely appreciate your honest and considerate response when I mistakenly thought I was a Diamond member. Thank you very much.

We stayed here overnight while traveling back home. My child loves cars, so seeing engines and car bodies everywhere was exciting in itself, and we were able to spend a fulfilling, luxurious time. As I was traveling with my mother who has difficulty walking, we ordered room service and enjoyed our meal at a relaxed pace on the balcony, feeling the pleasant breeze while watching the circuit.

From the attentive staff and beautifully prepared, delicious cuisine to the spotless Room and two different baths that were both wonderfully relaxing, our stay was satisfying from start to finish. The Japanese sweets provided in the Room were especially delicious—I almost wanted to buy some to take home (they may even be handmade). If I had one small wish, it would be that the lounge drinks included alcohol, which I personally think would have made it even better. The staff’s warm smiles were the best hospitality of all.

This was my first stay in Yufuin, and I chose this Accommodation. The staff’s hospitality was very pleasant, and both dinner and breakfast were a delight—each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it a truly blissful time. The Onsen was wonderful as well; after bathing, my skin felt silky smooth. Another Accommodation I’d love to visit again has been added to my list.

My friend and I stayed for one night and two days. When we arrived at the front desk to check in, an insect flew toward us and I let out a small scream, but the woman at reception smiled and said, “I’ve lived on Yakushima for a long time, but you never really get used to the insects,” which put me at ease and was very comforting. The lobby was spacious and clean, and the Room was also extremely clean with an amazing ocean view. Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner; in particular, the Margherita pizza and mushroom risotto made to order by the chef were delicious. The bath also had a luxurious ocean view, and the silky-smooth water soaked into my body after all the trekking. This time we stayed only one night, but I’d love to come back and stay a bit longer next time.

We stayed here for a birthday trip for my mother and our dog. The Facility and the food were excellent, but even more than that, every staff member we met was wonderful, and we were able to spend a truly comfortable time. What impressed us most was that all the staff remembered our dog’s name and greeted us using it. We will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay. Last time, I stayed during a snowy season, so this time I was able to relax until dinner and fully enjoy the sight of green trees swaying and the gentle calls of evening cicadas from my clean, refined Room. The meals here are delicious both in the morning and in the evening, with plenty of vegetables. Of course, the fish and meat were also excellent—everything was flawless. Above all, the staff’s smiles were wonderful, and their service was attentive and professional, which made me feel truly happy. I will definitely come back to stay again when I have time. This was my long-admired Accommodation, and my first visit. I was truly able to relax in a space where all I could see from the Room was greenery, and all I could hear were the calls of cicadas. The two large public baths had slightly different temperatures between the indoor bath and the open-air bath, so even I, who am not fond of very hot water, could choose what suited me. The meals also featured seasonal ingredients beautifully and were absolutely delicious. I sincerely appreciate the staff’s thoughtful, unobtrusive hospitality. I would love to return in a different season.

This time, we invited our eldest son and his partner. It’s a small Onsen, yet never crowded, so you can relax and truly enjoy it. Above all, the food was delicious—they were completely satisfied with their one-night stay. Perhaps it’s because Fukushima’s ingredients are excellent, but the dishes made the most of them. They said every dish was wonderful. And breakfast: they may have had a bit too much to drink, but they were very pleased with a breakfast that gently soothed them. The day before, they stayed at a Japanese-style Accommodation around Zao, but they preferred Aalto’s cuisine. Even as I write this review, I want to go again. Every time we stay, there is always at least one memorable dish—and when we return next time, an even more impressive plate appears. Our eldest son drinks quite a lot, and he said the wine and other drink selections were extensive and delicious—so he ended up drinking too much without meaning to. We look forward to visiting again soon.

The Accommodation, the staff, the meals, and the Onsen were all outstanding. The meat and eggs in particular were unforgettable. If I visit Yufuin again, I will definitely stay here!

We were satisfied with everything—the guest room, the private open-air bath, and the restaurant. The retro furnishings in the room were truly comforting, and we were impressed by the thoughtful care in the meals. We enjoyed a level of luxury that exceeded the price. This is a Hotel we would love to visit again. The Hotel staff were also wonderful. As I get older, I find peace in an Accommodation like this. I hadn’t had many chances to visit Chichibu before, but this was an excellent Hotel as a base for visiting Mitsumine Shrine, Chichibu Shrine, and Hodosan Shrine (the Chichibu Three Shrines pilgrimage), as well as sightseeing in Nagatoro. This was our second stay as a couple with our dog. Because it is a private rental house with exterior walls, we didn’t have to worry about the surroundings and were able to relax and enjoy a luxurious time in the Room. For meals, the ingredients were prepared in the refrigerator and we cooked for ourselves, but the recipes made it easy to prepare everything smoothly. We also appreciated that the menu was different on the second night, so we never got bored. The staff were very polite and kind. Even if we had questions, we could reach them by phone, which made us feel at ease throughout our stay. It was also great fun chatting during check-in and check-out. Our dog looked happy from start to finish. It was an Accommodation that makes us want to come back again for sure.

It was my first visit. I was completely satisfied with everything, but there are three highlights worth mentioning. I have stayed at many Hotels, and the dining here was exceptionally satisfying. It’s rare to find Western cuisine of this quality. I was amazed by the consommé made from chicken and vegetables—it concentrated the natural flavors of the ingredients beautifully. None of the dishes felt heavy, and I enjoyed everything right to the end. The ayu paired wonderfully with eggplant as well, and I was impressed by how it all came together. My husband and I even said we would like to stay again just for the meals. The wonderful location was also a major plus. I could truly relax while taking in such a luxurious view. I believe that’s thanks to how meticulously everything is kept clean—from the rooms to the large public bath and even the garden. We enjoyed coffee in the library, and used cups were promptly cleared away; there wasn’t a single unpleasant detail. Above all, what stood out most was how wonderful your staff are. Everyone—the person who provided Shuttle Service by bus, the front desk team, each member of restaurant service staff, and housekeeping—was warm and professional. There were also staff members with charming Fukushima dialects, which sounded lovely to me. In particular, one restaurant staff member remained poised while still engaging in pleasant conversation; unfortunately I didn’t get their name. I hope to see them again on my next visit. Because it’s close to Zao, this was my first stay at this Accommodation. To put it mildly, it’s one of the best Accommodations I’ve ever stayed at. It’s fairly large, so the interiors and lobby are well appointed, but above all it’s quiet and comfortable. The large public bath with an open-air bath is excellent as well, and the teppanyaki cuisine was outstanding. There was nothing to complain about. The service struck just the right balance of attentiveness and distance, and everything was impeccably clean—I truly enjoyed my stay.

We had a very comfortable stay. The building has a stylish Japanese-modern design, and the food was delicious. The staff who welcomed us were very kind, shared various stories with us, and were friendly and reassuring. The staff assigned to our Room were also very kind. If I had to mention one thing, I wish the view from the bath in the Room had been better.
