I’ve already praised the private Onsen, the Tui Na massage, and the wonderful dinner, but the breakfast is actually another highlight. The dried horse mackerel and mirin-marinated dried mackerel we had this time were both simply outstanding. Perfectly grilled to be fluffy and fragrant, they were beautifully complemented by the refreshing aroma of the citrus garnish—so delicious that I couldn’t stop eating rice from the very start of the day. Every detail of breakfast reflects thoughtful care and a gentle touch for your well-being. This luxury—resetting your body with Onsen bathing and bodywork, then feeling nourished from within by delicious food—is truly addictive once you experience it. We’ll be back for another boost of energy!

We were completely satisfied with both the Room and the meals. The meal for our dog was also a feast, making this a truly happy trip. We would definitely love to stay again.

I was worried about the heat, but the temperature dropped at just the right time, making for a very pleasant stay. There was no mention of it at check-in, but it seems our Room was upgraded, and I was truly impressed by how spacious and beautiful it was. The afternoon tea and breakfast were also excellent, and we were very satisfied. All of the staff were extremely kind, so we could stay comfortably. I definitely want to stay here again. This was our first stay here on a trip for two. We stayed in the Room called “Nagaishi-no-Ma,” a nostalgic-style Room surrounded by furnishings such as a Karuizawa-carved desk, creating a calm and pleasantly reminiscent atmosphere. Above all, the staff’s service and explanations were very courteous, and we were able to spend our time comfortably, making it a wonderful memory. We would love to visit again next year.

I always spend the summer in Hokkaido, and this time I visited Niseko again after a long time. Niseko seems to have changed quite a bit recently, and I chose this place because I wanted to see what it’s like now while also sensing an atmosphere somewhat like Karuizawa. The Hotel Room had a spacious layout that I really loved, and the Onsen was amazing—open 24 hours with free-flowing natural spring water. Dinner, one of the true highlights of traveling, was also outstanding. It was my first time having a chef prepare and serve each dish fresh right in front of me, and I truly enjoyed such a luxurious meal. The service was attentive down to the smallest details, and I was deeply impressed. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to stay here again.

While Accommodations with Onsen and breakfast and dinner included are wonderful, we were hoping for a stay that felt more like living locally. We stayed as a couple, and the simple layout—kitchen, dining area, bedroom, toilet, and shower—was impressive and made for a very comfortable stay. The owner’s mural was gentle and blended beautifully with the interior, creating a lovely atmosphere. We were told that in winter all rooms have underfloor heating so you can stay comfortable even in short sleeves, so we’d love to visit again in another season. There’s an OGINO supermarket nearby as well as a butcher shop; we enjoyed basashi and relaxed with Yamanashi wine (the kitchen knife wasn’t very sharp, but honestly it felt safer that way). Partway through our stay, the owner stopped by to check on us and shared stories about life at Lake Yamanaka—more than anything else, that became our favorite memory and made us feel at ease. It was a truly wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

Both the Room and the entire Accommodation were clean, and we had a very comfortable stay. The Onsen warmed us through to the core and helped relieve our travel fatigue. The meals were a delight both visually and in taste, and the steak in particular was outstanding. We had no contact with other guests, making it a quiet, relaxing space. Conversations with the staff were also pleasant, and we were very satisfied. We would love to visit again in a different season.

The “Small-portion Gourmet Kaiseki” was just the right amount for seniors, and over our two-night stay the dinner was excellent in terms of ingredients, preparation, and seasoning. The breakfast also offered a variety of small dishes, and we were very satisfied from the morning with both dried fish and sashimi. The Onsen, Facility, and Room were clean and well maintained, and the staff were extremely attentive throughout our two-night stay. True to its name, it provided a five-star experience and made our trip to Izu a wonderful one.

Everything about the Accommodation—the Room, the meals, and the staff—was excellent and very satisfying. In particular, I was soothed by the soft, gentle waters of Sujiyu Onsen. The bath in the Room was wonderful, and I was able to relax and take my time.

At IKYU, it was categorized as casual, but we enjoyed a luxurious Onsen experience that felt like staying at a private villa. The Room had a spacious washroom, and the toilet being separate was also convenient. The heater in the Room was turned on in advance, so we stayed warm without needing to use the air conditioner. Various thoughtful touches were noticeable throughout, and I heard that adjustments are made regularly. It had such a pleasant atmosphere that made us wish to stay longer. Here are some points of concern: It would be helpful if spare foot mats were provided for the private bath so they can be replaced after use. The abundance of wash towels was very convenient. A single fresh flower in the Room would add charm since there were flowers in the dining area. During meal service, providing more details about local ingredients or cooking methods would be appreciated by travelers—it may require extra effort from staff but makes for enjoyable conversations while savoring meals. Having a menu list would also enhance the dining experience further.

We stayed at The Hiramatsu Miyota to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We made a Reservation for a forest-view Room, and while enjoying the French dinner we had been looking forward to, we were deeply moved when they surprised us with a celebratory message plate saying, “Happy 40th wedding anniversary.” When we returned to our Room, there was another wonderful surprise, and we felt truly grateful for the thoughtful care shown by all the staff. They also warmly congratulated us at breakfast the next morning and again at check-out, making our entire stay feel heartfelt and special. We feel very fortunate to have marked such an important milestone surrounded by such exceptional hospitality. Thank you so much to everyone on the team. This is a Hotel we would love to visit again.

A relaxing, tranquil Accommodation for adults. Watch the ever-changing sky, sea, and forest, and the sparkling stars; soak in the Onsen whenever you like; and enjoy high-quality meals... Above all, the staff’s hospitality is outstanding. During my stay, they never once asked for my name or Room number, and they even adjusted the end time of dinner to fit my spa Reservation. Thanks to their seamless communication and thoughtful care, I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. I will be back again. Thank you very much.

This visit back to the Accommodation was a firm promise we made with M-chan and N-chan’s family, whom we met here two years ago in August. That day, we played together at the dog run, shared dinner, and spent bar time talking about many things—it was a once-in-a-lifetime encounter during our stay. I still remember how incredibly fun it was. At the time, our M was still an only dog, but meeting M-chan and N-chan—who became friends with us—created an irreplaceable and wonderful bond. We were also truly happy to become friends with their dad and mom as well. At checkout, we made a strong promise: “Let’s all meet again here at this Accommodation someday, healthy and well!” But soon after that, we were shocked to receive the sudden news of M-chan’s passing. Her mom told us that she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in March. We were heartbroken that we could no longer reunite with everyone in good health as we had promised. Still, because this Accommodation was a place M-chan loved so very much, we wanted to honor her here—and so all of us were able to meet again. Together—with their dad and mom; M-chan and N-chan; our MM sisters; and us—we came back to the Accommodation saying “We’re home!” The staff welcomed us warmly with gentle smiles saying “Welcome back,” and M-chan and N-chan—and our MM sisters—were absolutely delighted. For dinner, they seated us next to each other, and it became a joyful dinner time as we talked together while remembering M-chan. At bar time as well, we shared many memories with their dad and mom and talked about what lies ahead; it was a warm, gentle time that passed slowly. We also had breakfast together afterward, then played at the dog run right up until the last minute—sharing truly priceless moments. We believe none of this would have been possible without the kindness and support of all the staff. We are filled with gratitude for watching over our stay until the very end with such warmth. This Accommodation truly brings people together! And it is a one-of-a-kind place—wonderful, beautiful, something you can be proud of—that helps fulfill promises made between beloved dogs! It was wonderful. The Room was spacious, and the in-room Onsen was excellent—I enjoyed it many times. The private bath had no time limit, and I could use it anytime as long as it was available, which made me very satisfied. The staff greeted me with smiles. Above all, every meal was delicious and made me feel truly happy. I have stayed at various Accommodations before, but I think this one was the best. During my stay, I already wanted to come back again. It was truly great. Thank you very much.

From the attentive staff and beautifully prepared, delicious cuisine to the spotless Room and two different baths that were both wonderfully relaxing, our stay was satisfying from start to finish. The Japanese sweets provided in the Room were especially delicious—I almost wanted to buy some to take home (they may even be handmade). If I had one small wish, it would be that the lounge drinks included alcohol, which I personally think would have made it even better. The staff’s warm smiles were the best hospitality of all.

It was a calm, adults-only Accommodation with a relaxing atmosphere. The attentive service, guest room, and bath facilities were all high quality, and we were very satisfied. The meals were not too much—just the right amount for seniors—and truly excellent. Finally, I sincerely appreciate your honest and considerate response when I mistakenly thought I was a Diamond member. Thank you very much.

Each Room comes with a private open-air bath, and meals can be served in the Room as well, so we were able to relax without worrying about others. What made us happiest was how well the Accommodation is set up for dogs! In addition to a private dog run just for our Room, there is an indoor dog run on-site, and outside the Accommodation there are two more dog runs—one with wood chips and one with grass—making four in total. We could choose where to play depending on our mood and the weather. The meals were also delicious, making great use of Izu’s fish, meat, and vegetables. There was an excellent selection of menu items for our dog as well, and they finished everything in no time. All of the staff were very dog-friendly, and it really showed how much they care about dogs. It became a wonderful memory where we could truly relax together with our dog. Thank you very much.

My wife and I visited from Kyoto. As it had not been long since the renovation, everything was very clean, and we had a comfortable one-night stay. The open-air bath in the guest room lets you fill it yourself—add cold water if it’s too hot, or add hot water if it’s too cool—so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Both the hot and cold water flow were plentiful, making it a truly stress-free Onsen experience that’s hard to find. The meals were also excellent; each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and I felt the chef must be very talented. If I had to mention one minor complaint, it would have been perfect if we could have seen Mt. Aso clearly from the bath, but I understand that can’t always be helped.

It was my first visit. I was completely satisfied with everything, but there are three highlights worth mentioning. I have stayed at many Hotels, and the dining here was exceptionally satisfying. It’s rare to find Western cuisine of this quality. I was amazed by the consommé made from chicken and vegetables—it concentrated the natural flavors of the ingredients beautifully. None of the dishes felt heavy, and I enjoyed everything right to the end. The ayu paired wonderfully with eggplant as well, and I was impressed by how it all came together. My husband and I even said we would like to stay again just for the meals. The wonderful location was also a major plus. I could truly relax while taking in such a luxurious view. I believe that’s thanks to how meticulously everything is kept clean—from the rooms to the large public bath and even the garden. We enjoyed coffee in the library, and used cups were promptly cleared away; there wasn’t a single unpleasant detail. Above all, what stood out most was how wonderful your staff are. Everyone—the person who provided Shuttle Service by bus, the front desk team, each member of restaurant service staff, and housekeeping—was warm and professional. There were also staff members with charming Fukushima dialects, which sounded lovely to me. In particular, one restaurant staff member remained poised while still engaging in pleasant conversation; unfortunately I didn’t get their name. I hope to see them again on my next visit. We traveled around Kumamoto by rental car with my spouse and our two sons, and stayed at Soan in two Rooms. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The staff were kind and attentive, which made us feel truly welcome. The Onsen water quality was excellent, and we felt deeply relaxed after bathing. The Rooms were clean and comfortable, making this Accommodation a great choice for a family trip. I highly recommend it, and would love to stay again if we have the chance.
