The Onsen facilities, meals, and service were all excellent. Since we stayed on a hot day, I was worried the Onsen spa might feel too warm, but because it was up in the mountains, the breeze was cool and it was comfortable. The meal was delicious French cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. All the staff were friendly and helpful in many ways. We stayed for my mother’s birthday, and she was very happy. It’s a Hotel I’d love to stay at again if I have the chance!

Not only was the Room wonderful, but the host was truly kind. Even though I contacted them just two days in advance to plan a surprise celebration for my companion, they prepared a message plate and even decorated the Room for us. I’d love to stay again.

I made a Reservation after seeing this Accommodation featured by a YouTuber. The property was clean and airy, and the view from our Room was wonderful. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we felt completely at home—overall, we were very satisfied. Most of all, we were impressed by how kind and thoughtful the staff were in their attentive greetings. We stayed as a family of three with our 11-month-old baby. Upon request, they provided a baby crib and a diaper disposal bin in the Room, and we could also enjoy the heated pool together, so we felt comfortable even with a small child. At dinner, they prepared a private dining room for us, which allowed us to relax without worrying about disturbing other guests when our daughter became fussy. It was an unhurried course meal that lasted nearly two hours, but every time the staff came in they spoke gently to her; even though she is shy around strangers, she stayed happy and smiling throughout. Thank you as well for warming up her baby food. Traveling with a child can be tiring in many ways, but thanks to the Facilities and the warmth of the staff here, we were able to take things at our own pace and truly relax. Thank you very much. The afternoon tea and light meals are excellent, so I recommend having a lighter lunch before your 3:00 PM check-in.

This year again, we spent our wedding anniversary in memory-filled Karuizawa. For us, this is truly a wonderful Hotel. With a typhoon approaching, we were worried the weather might turn severe, but the Hotel was so quiet and peaceful that we forgot all about it. Surrounded by delicious food and wine and the thoughtful care of the staff, we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much. We plan to stay again in autumn.

Thank you as always. I don’t think there are many Ryokan where you can enjoy fresh seafood for under 20,000 yen and also use a private open-air bath. The Accommodation staff are incredibly kind, and it’s my hidden getaway—more relaxing than being at my parents’ home. Last time I brought my parents and they were absolutely delighted, so my rating hasn’t changed at all. Of course, at this price there are a few Facility points you may need to overlook, but if that bothers you, you can always pay several times more and stay at a luxury Ryokan. For ordinary people looking for an occasional treat, this is a comfortable Accommodation that’s just right.

I have stayed here many times. Although it is an older Accommodation, the Room and baths are always kept very clean, which makes for a very pleasant stay. The staff are attentive and considerate while maintaining a comfortable sense of distance—truly a wonderful Accommodation. The early-summer dishes this time were also delicious. They looked refreshing and beautifully presented. I would love to visit again in winter. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for an anniversary trip as a couple. Since we both love saunas, we chose this Accommodation. In a word: “The most satisfying Accommodation we’ve ever stayed at”! From check-in to meals to check-out, all the staff were consistently courteous and attentive, and we felt comfortable from start to finish. What surprised us first when we entered the Room was how well stocked everything was—amenities and even complimentary items in the refrigerator. It was the first time we’d experienced such generous hospitality, and both of us kept saying, “Wow!” the whole time. The sauna we’d been looking forward to exceeded our expectations. During self löyly, a gentle roasted green tea aroma filled the space and was incredibly relaxing. The outdoor cooling area was also very comfortable, and we were able to unwind so much that we lost track of time. If you love saunas, I highly recommend trying it at least once. Both the Italian course dinner and the Japanese breakfast were truly excellent—we were completely satisfied. Not only were they beautifully presented, but every dish was delicious, with just the right portions so we could enjoy everything through to the end. It was our first time having a course meal so I felt a little nervous at first, but that made it an even more special memory. The overall atmosphere of the Accommodation was wonderful as well—enjoying the sauna, reading together, having unhurried conversations… Because there’s no clock or TV here, we could forget our usual busy routine and spend truly luxurious time together. The Room was spacious too—calm and very relaxing. If I had to mention one thing: since we stayed in summer, the open-air bath used as a cold plunge felt slightly lukewarm. I think it’s seasonal though—next time I’d like to visit in autumn or winter and enjoy an even more refreshing sauna experience. This is an Accommodation I genuinely recommend for anyone who wants to spend quiet time indoors or refresh while forgetting everyday busyness. Our anniversary became an unforgettable memory. We would absolutely love to stay again—thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality.

I sincerely apologize for my late thank-you. This was our second stay. The front desk location had changed since last time, so I was a little confused at first. After we arrived, you upgraded us from Room KOURAI 202 to Room NOMATSU 403, which was an unexpected and wonderful offer, and we were truly delighted. As it’s the most popular among the staff, it was very spacious, with a beautiful view of the garden from both the bath and the Room—an exceptionally comfortable and calming place to spend time. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and since there was only one other group besides us, we were able to dine in a relaxed atmosphere as well. We also enjoyed visiting nearby Japanese sweets shops—it was great fun. We were deeply moved by how beautifully you filled in our travel memory book too. Done—we will definitely be back again. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

Six of us from work stayed here. It was fantastic—we all had a great time together with the sauna, cooking dinner, and roasting coffee. Unfortunately, it was cloudy so we couldn’t get a clear view of Mt. Fuji, but the location is quiet and wonderful. We’d love to come again. I’m giving it one point less because we had to wait at check-in, but the staff explained everything well and we had no problems during our stay.

I’d been wanting to visit for a long time, and I treated myself to a Multiple Night Stay solo to truly relax. I’m so glad I chose this place! I’ve stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans in Japan and abroad, and this has become one of my top three favorites. Everything used throughout the Hotel is carefully selected and meticulously maintained. The staff were warm and kind in such a natural way—it was genuinely soothing. And the food—absolutely unforgettable! I had all three meals here, and if only I had another stomach, I would have loved to try even more from the menu. There were plenty of fresh local vegetables; everything was truly delicious, beautifully presented with great taste, and above all, you could feel the chef’s love in every dish. It makes perfect sense that so many guests return again and again. It was hot in midsummer, but I rented an e-bike, rode to the beach, and went for a swim. Just as rumored, the water was crystal clear—the beach was stunning—and it left me feeling completely refreshed. I will definitely come back in another season. My daughter stayed here in June for her wedding. Hakodate is one of my favorite cities, and I have stayed at many Hotels there. This time, since we had the wedding, we were looking for a Hotel where she could relax as much as possible, so we chose this Hotel, which I had been interested in for some time because of its great Reviews. According to my daughter: The service was extremely courteous, the breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of amenities and thoughtful items to enhance the stay (such as a coffee grinder and hair iron), making it very comfortable. Next time, I would love to stay here myself. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness.

Everything was wonderful, from the warm welcome to the farewell. While everything was excellent, the meals and the beautifully maintained garden stood out in particular. The meals were carefully prepared with time and were truly delicious. The garden was very well cared for, and the fresh greenery was especially impressive. It was such a great Accommodation that I wanted to visit again with my parents, so I made a Reservation for November right away.

The blend of nature and luxury was wonderful. I loved taking my time in the sauna, and the wood-burning stove was truly soothing. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. I’ll definitely be back.

I stayed at this Accommodation last year and again this year, and it was truly the best once again. This year, the pool even had a large float big enough for adults to relax on, making it fun for both kids and adults. With a sauna, BBQ facilities, and a garden where you can practice golf as well, you can fully enjoy summer without leaving this Accommodation, so we were able to spend a relaxing holiday. Also, the spotless Room and the wonderful hospitality—welcome drinks like plenty of beer and water, plus ice cream and snacks—were exceptional. I would love to stay again next year.

Before our stay, they kindly helped with various requests such as arranging taxis and pickups, and on the day they also assisted with ticket arrangements and an unexpected pickup during heavy rain—we truly appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. For dinner, we chose the teppanyaki course and enjoyed lively conversation along with delicious locally grown vegetables and meat. The Room also offered more than enough amenities, including coffee and other drinks.

The dog run was a spacious yard with no obstacles, so our 1-year-old dog could run around safely. The building itself was modern, stylish, and very clean, and everything was well maintained and comfortable. The meal ingredients were prepped in advance—just follow the recipe and it turns out absolutely delicious! During our stay, we heard cuckoos calling—something we never hear at home—and it was so soothing to see our dog react to the sound. Unfortunately, due to the typhoon it was cloudy and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, but we were more than satisfied just watching our dog relax and enjoy himself. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed as a family gathering with relatives, including five preschool children. The entire Accommodation (lobby, Room, etc.) was kept very clean, so our stay was comfortable. Since the children were constantly full of energy, we requested a private dining room for meals. You provided a very spacious room, and the food was refined and delicious, using local ingredients. Everyone’s hospitality was wonderful and welcoming, and we would like to stay here again for our next family gathering. Thank you very much for your thoughtful care in many ways.

We stayed for one night in Yayoi in July with our dog as a couple. We’ve stayed at many dog-friendly Accommodations, and this is the best one for us. I especially love sulfur Onsen, and while other dog-friendly Accommodations we’ve stayed at had Onsen, none had sulfur springs. Here, there is also a free-flowing natural hot spring bath in the Room, so we didn’t have to leave our dog waiting to go to a public bath. Even though many places don’t allow dogs in the bathroom area, this Accommodation provided a dog bathtub, shampoo, and towels—I've never stayed anywhere so thoughtful. Our senior large dog kept coming to watch us enjoy the Onsen with curiosity. Just walking through the spilled water from the free-flowing sulfur spring at the washing area turned his rough, cracked paw pads into smooth ones—just like the Reviews said. It’s truly an amazing Onsen. The Imabari bath towel after bathing was fluffy and very comfortable. Since it was a No Meals Included stay, we mainly brought takeout from Nasu restaurants. We also bought Nasu cheese and sausages along with drinks and snacks, and picked up bread and yogurt for breakfast at a nearby shop before heading to the Accommodation. With the best sulfur Onsen, delicious food and drinks from Nasu, a quiet setting, we were able to relax completely. Our dog also seemed very satisfied with the cool highland climate, peaceful greenery-filled surroundings, and private feel without running into other dogs—he looked truly relaxed. All of us were soothed by both nature and the Onsen and went home extremely happy. My husband said he wants to come again in winter too—so we’ll be making another Reservation. Everything was excellent—no complaints at all. It was a truly memorable Hotel. The food in particular was outstanding; it may have been the best of any place we’ve stayed so far. Not only was it delicious, but the portions were generous—we’re big eaters, and even we left completely full. The Room was also wonderful, with a lovely view of Lake Biwa. Simply the best. To prove it, as soon as we got home we made another Reservation for the crab course—it's six months away, but we’re already excited to enjoy your料理 again. During our trip from the main island to Miyakojima, we stayed here for the entire time on the main island. The Room was spacious and very clean! We were truly touched by the honeymoon towel art and flowers that were prepared for us. The view of the ocean and Kouri Bridge from the Room was breathtaking. My husband was thrilled with the Agu pork shabu-shabu dinner. We also dined at a restaurant in the Hotel group, and it was delicious and stylish as well. Breakfast was delivered to our Room, and even during our Multiple Night Stay, they changed the menu each day—everything was so thoughtful. We had a wonderfully relaxing Hotel stay while enjoying a resort atmosphere, and our time on Kouri Island became an unforgettable memory. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again someday.
