Thank you to the proprietress and staff for their heartfelt hospitality. My father, who is hard of hearing at 88, was deeply grateful that they kindly explained each dish close to his ear and chatted with him—thanks to them, I was able to show him proper filial care. The in-Room

It was my first time staying here, and it was excellent. I stayed with my dog, and the log cabin was very clean, odor-free, and comfortable. They came right away to explain how to use the BBQ, and their guidance was very thorough. The BBQ meat was delicious, and there was plenty of food—very satisfying. I would love to stay again.

We stayed here for the first time during the autumn Silver Week for a Multiple Night Stay. Thanks to IKYU, we were able to discover this wonderful Hotel. The natural surroundings are beautiful, the architecture and interiors are excellent, the staff’s smiles are warm, and the dishes at the restaurant are beautifully presented—truly the best hidden retreat Hotel unique to Kumihama. Next time, I hope we can make a Reservation for spring Golden Week, so I plan to check IKYU’s site carefully. To everyone at Holiday Home, thank you very much for your kind hospitality.

This time, three of us—my friend, my grandchild, and I—stayed with you. Because of allergies, we requested adjustments to the bedding, and we truly appreciate how kindly you accommodated us. We checked in after dinner, and everything was handled very smoothly. The Room was spacio

The room was impeccably maintained. Sitting by the window, brewing hojicha, and reading while watching the shimmering sun setting over Lake Ashi was the ultimate relaxation time. The meals were also wonderful. We enjoyed them in a private room, comfortably side by side wit

It was truly the best Accommodation. The Onsen, the meals, the heartfelt service, the ice cream we enjoyed in the lounge, and even the forest walking trail that felt like fairies might appear and the firefly-viewing event—everything was wonderful and became an unforgettable memo

We were completely satisfied until the very end. Breakfast also offers a wide variety of dishes and goes perfectly with rice. The Onsen is wonderfully relaxing, and after bathing our skin feels silky smooth. From the proprietress to everyone on staff, they are always kind to ou

99—a vivid red—suited her perfectly. It made me think: “I want to be like that in my 70s!”—I truly admired her. We didn’t get to meet the head chef this time, but we sincerely appreciate all of your thoughtful attention to detail. The pool temperature reached as high as 36°C du

The pool is one of the largest in the prefecture with views reminiscent of Ubud in Bali and slightly warm water temperature that made it truly enjoyable. All the staff provided exceptional hospitality, which I believe is one of this Hotel's outstanding features. I will visit

During the Obon holidays, my daughter and her husband came back home with our grandchild, and we stayed here. It’s a Hotel specialized for children, and our grandchild was absolutely delighted. With the all-inclusive plan, we fully enjoyed both alcoholic and soft drinks. The meals were buffet-style, which made my daughters very happy as well. We also enjoyed the late-night snacks. We stayed in Room “Casual 10,” and since there are only two Rooms on the 8th floor, it was very spacious and cute. Everyone loved it—our grandchild especially—and kept saying how wonderful it was! The baths were also great; we were able to use both a private bath and the large public bath. Everyone was extremely satisfied. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful Room with exceptional hospitality. The Room felt very clean, and when the morning sun shines through the turquoise-blue curtains, it creates a dreamy atmosphere. The interior is based on white tones and has great taste. Small items and amenities such as mugs and towels were stylish, and the space—with a coffee maker, toaster, and sofa—was beautifully designed. The complimentary snacks they had prepared were also a thoughtful touch. We booked the breakfast plan, and the ingredients included items from a local bakery, plus high-quality eggs and bacon. There are stylish cafés just a few minutes’ walk away, so it seems you could also enjoy lunch or dinner there. The location is excellent—you can walk straight from the Room to the beach, which is very convenient. They also provide beach sandals, floats, and bodyboards, so as long as you bring your swimsuit you’re all set for activities. A nearby convenience store sells goggles and fishing gear too, so it feels like you could come with almost nothing. After getting out of the ocean, you can go straight to the jacuzzi or the Goemon-style bath (cauldron bath), which was another great convenience. We rented the BBQ equipment; the stylish grill was easy to use, and even though it’s outdoors under a roofed area, it was more comfortable than expected. The bed linens—including sheets and duvet—were clean with crisp freshness, and the mattress was fluffy; we slept very comfortably. The staff provided polite service with quick and efficient responses. Above all else, the view from the Room is outstanding. The color of the sea is beautiful. It was only a one-night stay in this Accommodation, but we regretted not staying two nights—it was that satisfying. I’d love to recommend it to everyone… though part of me wants to keep it secret. To all staff members: thank you for such a wonderful time.

On weekdays, some stores were closed, so it was a bit hard to catch the right timing, but I was able to enjoy delicious meals and drinks both during the day and at night. Once again, I was able to relax in a wonderful Room. Thank you very much. I will visit again! There’s sti

As a reward for my eldest daughter’s junior high school entrance exams, I stayed with a mom friend and our children—five females in total. The view from the Accommodation was amazing, both the ocean during the day and the illuminated scenery at night—so open and refreshing. There were generous amounts of welcome snacks, mineral water, alcohol, and amenities provided—it was truly impressive!! The pool was a perfectly sufficient size for what felt like a private pool, and the kids had a great time. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, but we left wishing we could have enjoyed it even more—it was hard to say goodbye. The staff who assisted us were incredibly quick to respond; it really surprised me. Thank you very much. It was a bit of a splurge for our family, but if we have another chance, we would love to stay again.

It was rare for our whole family to be together, so we decided to stay on short notice. After check-in, we headed to our Room with a complimentary drink from the lobby (non-alcoholic) in hand. The Room was more spacious than expected, well stocked with amenities, and the view was wonderful. The bedside light brightness can’t be adjusted, but it wasn’t an issue. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes. The freshly grilled Wagyu steak made to order was delicious, but the best was the made-to-order tempura where you can choose the ingredients to be fried. There were also many types of all-you-can-drink alcohol options, which we enjoyed. For breakfast, you can choose the fillings for your omelet, and there were plenty of both Japanese and Western options as well. Towels were provided at the large public bath, and the free ice cream after bathing was great too! All staff provided polite service—especially the restaurant staff, who spoke gently and kindly—and it felt like they paid close attention to guests. After checkout, my daughter was touched by a woman who greeted us cheerfully at the car drop-off area and waved both hands as she saw us off until we left; it made for a very pleasant departure from the Hotel and a wonderful stay overall.

The room was a standard type, but it was spacious enough, with stylish interiors and amenities. The bath was large, allowing me to stretch my legs and relax comfortably. The room wear was a double gauze material separate type, which was also very nice! I chose a Japanese breakfas

Along with that, I could hear the staff’s warm and lively greetings, and it truly felt like a Ryokan full of hospitality. The Onsen water was excellent—my skin felt so smooth—and the meals were delicious, high quality, and very generous in portion size. Above all, the staff were

The meals were outstanding too. A delicate and delicious dinner that makes you want sake. A gentle rice porridge breakfast served in beautiful dishes. The fluffy rolled omelet had such a mild flavor—everything was delicious!! After all that walking, Onsen is definitely better th

The large public bath was also lovely, and I hope to revisit with my elderly mother someday. In addition to the yukata, they provided very comfortable pajamas, and the shop had many wonderful items. I visited a place that becomes a café during the day and a bar at night, and I h

Although it was our first stay, we could truly feel how you have carefully carried on your 50-year history. We were completely satisfied with the Facility, amenities, meals, and hospitality. All of the staff were very courteous and also friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed listening to the Yamaha audio system, and since we didn’t expect to be able to play a grand piano, my wife was especially delighted. We will definitely stay again.

Everything in the hotel was spotless, the meals were delicious, the hot spring water was exceptional, and the view from our room was stunning. Above all, we were truly moved by the warm hospitality of the staff. Not only did we complete the Jomon Sugi trek, but thanks to our stay here, our trip to Yakushima became an unforgettable memory. Thank you very much. When we visit Yakushima again, samana will be our only choice.
