Surrounded by delicious meals, a free-flowing natural hot spring bath, and adorable cats, I was able to spend a gentle, peaceful time. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay. With only three groups per day, it’s a private pet-friendly Accommodation with a gentle, welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine was excellent, as you’d expect from a Ryokan—especially the sesame tofu and soba. Meals were served in a private dining room. Our dog happily ate the dog pizza. We stayed in the “Kuu-chan” tatami Room on the first floor, which felt a bit too spacious, but it was comfortable with no odors. The bath was a private reservable bath assigned to each Room. Since we visited in August, it was too hot outside to do much. We heard bears may appear around places like Enakyo Gorge. One downside was that a belly band (manner belt) is required inside the Room.

While browsing Reviews for an Accommodation where we could stay with our pet, natural Onsen, and dining options, we found Takakatsu and decided to stay there. The hospitality, guest room, water quality, cuisine, and the Onsen town—all were more than satisfying. However, while the amount of food was sufficient for us as a couple, it might feel a bit small for younger guests. We will be back again.

Stayed with my Yorkshire Terrier and mother. The interior has a European feel down to the details, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The room is spacious enough, and there was no unpleasant smell. The onsen in the room allows for easy access to a relaxing bath, which was very enjoyable. We only had breakfast during our stay, but the meal on the second day was very delicious. For dinner, please note that you need to choose such a plan or make a reservation in advance; ordering after arriving at the hotel seems difficult. Dinner costs 10,000 yen per person, which felt a bit expensive. However, there are no nearby places within walking distance for dining out easily, so please keep this in mind.

This is our third stay at this Accommodation since the beginning of the year. We are truly grateful that you welcomed us with our dog and provided such a clean Room. The meals were a full sea bream course, and we were completely satisfied with the local Naruto ingredients. As a bonus, even though our dog is very picky about food, he happily enjoys it when we share some slices of the sea bream shabu-shabu with him. With inflation driving up costs for ingredients as well as electricity and fuel, we hope you will continue operating while taking appropriate measures such as adjusting prices. Personally, I feel the current rates are almost too good to be true. It’s a wonderful Accommodation, and we will definitely stay again.

This was our first time staying as a family of six. We stayed in the annex, and the building was clean and a great environment for families with children without worrying about noise. The bath was spacious, and we loved that it had free-flowing natural hot spring water. The Onsen pool was also large, and the kids really enjoyed it. The night pool had a magical atmosphere as well. It turned into a wonderful trip.

We stayed from August 1 to 3 with my husband and our dog. First of all, the food was truly delicious—absolutely unforgettable. Every dish in the course was wonderful and made us feel so happy. As it was our first time in Karuizawa, we asked for recommended places to visit and had a very satisfying trip. It’s a bit far for us since we’re coming from Kansai, but we’d love to stay here again when we visit Karuizawa. I’m sure our dog was satisfied after enjoying the tasty food as well! We stayed at Kinugawa Onsen “Kizuna” from July 31 to August 2, 2026 (2 nights/3 days). We checked in with two adults, one child, and two Chihuahuas. I thought I had made a Reservation for a Room without an open-air bath, but due to what seemed to be a communication issue, we were instead shown to a Room with an open-air bath (a lucky surprise). Having an open-air bath in the Room meant we could enjoy the Onsen anytime, day or night, and our whole family had a truly happy time. For every meal (breakfast and dinner), we were able to dine in a private room (rather than the usual shared dining area). The menu changed each time, so we looked forward to every meal and headed there excitedly. Each dish was refined and absolutely delicious. With drinks as well, we felt completely satisfied after every meal. By chance, the Nikko Fireworks Festival was held on Saturday, August 8, and we were able to enjoy spectacular fireworks from our Room as well (another lucky moment). Above all else, what made our stay so comfortable was the attentive service from the manager and staff members—and their genuine hospitality in accommodating guests’ requests. That level of professionalism seemed to fill the entire Ryokan, allowing guests to relax completely and enjoy an exceptional experience. For three days, we fully enjoyed an extraordinary getaway both physically and mentally. It may sound childish, but it was such a wonderful Ryokan that I didn’t want to leave—I wanted to stay forever. Everyone in our family kept saying “Let’s come again,” so we will definitely return. My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who took care of us at “Kizuna.” Thank you very much for everything.

The Room was spacious and clean. The free-flowing Onsen bath in the Room was incredibly relaxing. The meals were delicious, and we were completely satisfied and full. The staff’s service was excellent as well. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

I chose this Accommodation because I was planning to stay near Cape Irago for a motorcycle event. As others have written, the food is unquestionably delicious and plentiful. I was especially satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the sashimi. They served many other dishes as well, but I still felt full from the Iekei ramen I had for lunch, so I couldn’t finish the simmered fish or the hot pot—and that was truly disappointing because everything tasted so good. Next time I stay, I think I should skip lunch. Since we were leaving early the next day, I couldn’t eat breakfast, which was a shame, but the rice balls they prepared for us were very tasty—so it made me think breakfast must have been great too... The bath was out of order, so we used a day-use bath at a Hotel about a 10-minute walk away. I was tired and would have preferred using the Accommodation’s bath, but the Hotel’s large public bath felt great as well, so overall it balanced out and I gave 4 stars. I heard our Room would be on the third floor and thought climbing stairs might be tough, but there was an elevator, which was reassuring. The Room being a Japanese-style room felt comfortable for me. The toilet and sink area seemed to have been renovated; they were bright and clean—and of course there was a washlet toilet seat. Since we’re coming from Kyushu, it’s not easy to visit without a motorcycle event, but if there’s another opportunity, I’d like to stay again.

We stayed here for the first time just after New Year’s, and my spouse, our dog, and I were all very satisfied—so we came back again four months later. Everything was excellent: truly pet-first, wonderful staff hospitality, great meals, and relaxing baths. Modern stylish Accommodations are nice too, but we really love Kinugawa’s charming retro atmosphere… We’re already planning our third visit this year… We’ll be coming all the way from Izu (lol). See you then!

I felt at ease knowing I could go anywhere with my dog. This time I only had breakfast, but it was very delicious and satisfying. Since it was a hot season, I used the air conditioner, but it was noisy, perhaps because the Facility is old. Other than that, my stay was comfortable.

There were lots of adorable cats, and they played with us using toys! When we left the Room door slightly open, they came in, which was incredibly soothing. We also had a child with us, and they happily played with the toys, so we’re really glad we came. Even our daughter, who usually spends her time playing games, didn’t play even once—it turned into a fulfilling day and we were very satisfied! She said she wants to come again, so we’ll check our schedule and plan to visit again.

Due to Typhoon No. 9, our return was delayed by two days, so we urgently made a Reservation at this Ryokan. Since we have a large family and lots of luggage, it was a huge help that you allowed us to stay for a Multiple Night Stay without changing Rooms at our request. The Room was spacious with plenty of space even for five people, and it was a smoking Room, which made my husband very happy. We also appreciated that breakfast was included. Kokusai-dori and the supermarket are within walking distance, so we went shopping twice—during the day and at night—and were able to take our time. Next time we visit Okinawa, we will definitely stay here again. The typhoon had really brought our spirits down, but we were able to relax, and I’m glad we chose this place. Thank you very much.

Our family of four stayed with two Chihuahuas. The Accommodation was very comfortable for traveling with pets, and the staff were all kind and helpful. The French dinner was beautifully presented, each dish carefully prepared, and everything was delicious. The Japanese breakfast also offered a wide variety of dishes, letting us enjoy local ingredients, and we were very satisfied from the morning. We were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen as well, making wonderful memories together as a family. We would love to stay again.

All staff members checked in with us thoughtfully and attentively, which made our family’s stay very comfortable. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We will make a Reservation at the Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto again for our next stay in Kyoto.

Spotlessly clean and excellent value for money. With the Plan including parking, I was able to check in with peace of mind. There’s nothing that can be done about it, but everything was perfect except for the squat-style toilet. Sorry—I’m not comfortable with squat toilets. In particular, the young woman at reception was very pleasant and incredibly soothing. I had a great check-in and check-out experience. Thank you so much!!

The property was better maintained and cleaner than I expected from the exterior. The meals were generous, and the rice in particular was delicious. The international staff were well trained, and their friendly service with a smile was very pleasant.

As everyone has posted, this is an irresistible Hotel for cat lovers. A very adorable cat sat in front of the bath and even hopped onto my lap. Despite how much work it must be to care for them, the Room was kept very clean. It may not suit those who are extremely germ-conscious, but with an ocean view, it was a wonderful trip for our whole family. We will continue to support you always.

The meals were delicious, and although we were told the portions would be modest, they were just the right amount for us. The owner was very knowledgeable about pets and shared a lot of helpful information with us. Both the Room and the bath were excellent. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.
