This Accommodation has become more upscale in recent years and is now a bit of a splurge for me, so I visited this time to take advantage of a great deal. As always, the Onsen was wonderful, the meals were delicious, and the Room was spacious and very comfortable. I was also happy that you remembered my various requests from previous stays. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality again—I’d love to visit again when I find another opportunity.

From June 28 to 30, just after the typhoon and the end of the rainy season, we were able to arrive in Miyako safely and this was our second stay at Ferris. We were upgraded to a twin-bed Room for our family of three, and it also happened to be my wife’s birthday. The cake and bed decorations were wonderful surprises, making our first trip back to Miyakojima in two years truly memorable. Thank you very much to all the staff. Coming back from snorkeling and slipping straight into the private pool in our Room felt amazing—we could have stayed in forever while looking out at the mangroves. We enjoyed San’s shabu-shabu in our Room, and everything was delicious right down to the soba at the end. Next time, we’d love to try lunch as well! We look forward to staying with you again.

I chose this Accommodation for my boyfriend’s birthday trip. It was my first stay here, and it far exceeded my expectations. Above all, the staff’s service was truly outstanding, and I was moved by every thoughtful gesture. The property has the charming presence of a grand traditional Japanese house, and the garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed a luxurious time dining at a relaxed pace while looking out over the garden. The basashi (horse sashimi) in particular was the best I’ve ever had—absolutely unforgettable. The Room was spacious and spotless, very comfortable, and the view from the window was wonderful. The building also has delightful surprises and playful touches that even first-time guests can enjoy, which kept me excited throughout our stay. They also offer an excellent selection of sake, so I especially recommend this Accommodation to sake lovers. It was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed—completely satisfying in every way. I will definitely return.

The Room, the meals, and the staff—everything was simply wonderful. The open-air bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water was amazing. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast while looking out at the ocean from our Room was lovely. Since it’s all-inclusive, we were able to relax in our Room and take it easy while ordering room service. Above all, we were most impressed by the attentive service from the staff. We would definitely love to visit again.

I stayed for one night on a round trip from Kagoshima Airport. It was quite tucked away, but I’m glad I came. I was overwhelmed by the large baths. There were many creatively designed baths, and I spent over an hour soaking. There were lots of day-use visitors, so the changing room was crowded and lively. The well-maintained garden and the cedar trees were also impressive. It’s far, but I’d like to visit again. The only disappointment was that three men were squatting right in front of a spot where they could see into the passageway to the women’s bath area. It was obvious what they were doing and they didn’t seem to care, so I felt staff patrols are needed.

This time, the meals were upgraded. It’s not like the all-inclusive plans at luxury Accommodations, but it’s just right. Everything feels just right. From the quality of the Onsen I love, to the place being old yet always kept clean and tidy, and how I never get bored no matter how many times I visit or how long I stay. I don’t know why I love it this much, but I’ll be back!

This was a wonderful Accommodation that made my first trip to Niigata truly special. While the building and furnishings showed their age, there were programs where we could enjoy local culture, such as shamisen performances and readings about the snow country, and thoughtful amenities like sake lees face packs, Japanese sake, and coffee, making it an Accommodation where we could fully enjoy Yuzawa. All of the staff, as well as the shamisen instructor, were outstanding. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I have stayed here many times. The meals are served buffet-style to order, with each dish carefully and beautifully presented, and everything tastes amazing. The menu changes with the seasons, and it’s so delicious that I always end up eating too much. On my dog’s birthday, the staff also offered their congratulations. Everyone speaks kindly to the dogs, and my dogs truly enjoy it. The spa treatments, Onsen, food, and staff—everything is soothing, and the hospitality is always outstanding no matter when we visit.

It had been since last autumn, but this is an Accommodation that soothes me no matter when I visit. Of course, the Room and the Onsen are wonderful, as are the meals—modern French with witty, thought-provoking menus each time, and a Japanese breakfast made with carefully selected ingredients—but even more than that, I’m always delighted by the staff’s quiet attentiveness everywhere, including turndown service during both dinner and breakfast. I go outside the rear entrance to smoke each time, and there was a small bench that hadn’t been there before. Near the exit were several mats you can use on the bench. I was moved by these little touches and found myself even more captivated by Kokon. I’m already looking forward to deciding when to visit next.

We stayed for three nights on a family trip during summer vacation. I’ve visited Okinawa about 10 times and stayed at various Hotels, but this was the best one so far! My family also said it was the best! It’s new and very clean, and the modern Room is spacious and comfortable—above all, it’s great value for money. Personally, I loved the style of taking off your shoes at the entrance, and I was glad I could open my large suitcase without feeling cramped. Even though it was summer vacation, we had the bath almost to ourselves for all three days, so we could relax and enjoy it. The changing area and washing area were spotless and well maintained. It was also helpful that we didn’t need to bring towels from our Room. Unlike a luxury high-rise Resort Hotel, the parking lot (and it’s free!) is close by, and it’s a short walk from the parking lot to the lobby to the guest Rooms—this was a huge help when traveling with kids and lots of beach gear. The compact size of the property felt just right in a good way. It’s far from the airport, but I personally like quiet Nakijin Village. There are many stylish cafes and restaurants nearby (they seemed popular with locals), there’s direct access to a convenience store without going outside, and there’s also a supermarket right in front—being able to pop out for quick shopping was fantastic. The staff were polite and attentive as well. Next time, I’d like to stay in a different Room!

The meals, the Onsen, and the service—everything was absolutely satisfying!! The lounge and the puzzle-solving activities were also very enjoyable. I would love to visit again. Although I had mistakenly made a Reservation for a smoking room, I truly appreciated how quickly you accommodated my request to change it. Thank you very much for all your help. Thank you.

We visited to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. It was a long drive from Yokohama to Nagano, but this was a wonderful Accommodation that truly made us glad we came. The in-room open-air bath was a little hot and needed some adjustment, but it was clean, spacious, and free of insects. The shampoo and conditioner also left our hair smooth and silky. (Some Ryokan at this level still leave your hair feeling rough.) All the staff who welcomed us were smiling, and during dinner the head chef served the main dish right at our table. Everything was delicious—made with local ingredients and carefully prepared with great attention to detail. On our way out, they even opened the souvenir shop in the main building earlier for us, so I was happy to be able to buy the souvenirs I wanted. My parents were very pleased as well, so we would love to visit again while they are still healthy.

The Onsen and meals were excellent. The private bath was also great. It was very quiet and relaxing. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

It was a truly satisfying day in every way. All four private Onsens were wonderful, and we enjoyed them right up until one hour before check-out. We were also happy with the wide variety of complimentary drinks available at any time. Of course, every dish was delicious, and we especially appreciated the strong local character of the cuisine. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again as soon as possible.

It was my first visit. I was completely satisfied with everything, but there are three highlights worth mentioning. I have stayed at many Hotels, and the dining here was exceptionally satisfying. It’s rare to find Western cuisine of this quality. I was amazed by the consommé made from chicken and vegetables—it concentrated the natural flavors of the ingredients beautifully. None of the dishes felt heavy, and I enjoyed everything right to the end. The ayu paired wonderfully with eggplant as well, and I was impressed by how it all came together. My husband and I even said we would like to stay again just for the meals. The wonderful location was also a major plus. I could truly relax while taking in such a luxurious view. I believe that’s thanks to how meticulously everything is kept clean—from the rooms to the large public bath and even the garden. We enjoyed coffee in the library, and used cups were promptly cleared away; there wasn’t a single unpleasant detail. Above all, what stood out most was how wonderful your staff are. Everyone—the person who provided Shuttle Service by bus, the front desk team, each member of restaurant service staff, and housekeeping—was warm and professional. There were also staff members with charming Fukushima dialects, which sounded lovely to me. In particular, one restaurant staff member remained poised while still engaging in pleasant conversation; unfortunately I didn’t get their name. I hope to see them again on my next visit. My wife and I stayed here as a reward after work. Everything was wonderful—the butler service, the food, and the atmosphere. The early evening with a hint of autumn and the refreshing mornings were both amazing. Staying for about two nights would be perfect. Next time, I’d like to try another Room as well. Thank you—my wife was very satisfied too. The meat miso we received was so good we couldn’t stop eating rice.

Last year, I stayed at Tatsumitei for the first time and was very satisfied. I had also been curious about the annex, so this year I stayed there. As before, both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining room, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious cuisine. The Room had high ceilings and felt spacious and relaxing; from the window we could admire the greenery of the trees and views of the Saigawa River, while enjoying the sound of the flowing water as time passed peacefully. In the Japanese-style room, there was a raised floor chair provided, which made it comfortable to spend time there. The open-air bath could be used without worrying about time, allowing us to unwind completely. The casually arranged flowers throughout the building were soothing, and we also enjoyed various crafts and carefully selected lighting fixtures. Thank you to all of the staff for your courteous service. I would definitely like to stay again next time.

It was a wonderful stay, exactly as we had hoped. The Room was very clean, every dish at both dinner and breakfast was delicious, and the private Onsen was fantastic—we were completely satisfied. Some oil from the stone-grilled Tochigi Wagyu accidentally splashed onto my skirt, but when I asked for advice, they kindly prepared a tray with mild detergent and towels and explained how to care for it properly. It was a huge help—thank you. If I had one small request, it would be nice to have simple snacks such as nuts when enjoying drinks in the lounge (a Ryokan we stayed at in Nagano recently offered this, so that may be why I noticed), but we truly appreciate being able to enjoy complimentary drinks. A highly recommended Ryokan.

With this visit, I have successfully completed my 8th stay, and have now completed two full rounds of all four venues included in the “Gastronomy Plan.” Compared to when I first stayed, the staff’s service feels even more composed, and I truly sense that an excellent environment has been established. The quality of the club lounge has also improved significantly, making my stay even more comfortable. I am scheduled to stay again next month and am very much looking forward to it. It is wonderful to see the General Manager and all staff members growing day by day as you aim to become one of Japan’s top Hotels.
