Both breakfast and dinner were exceptionally delicious, and we were completely satisfied. The view from the lounge was wonderful. From the in-room scenic bath, we could look out over the sea, and from the living area we could see airplanes up close. In the open-air bath of the large public bath, we could look up at planes just before landing, and were truly impressed by how powerful it was. We look forward to visiting again next year after the renovations are completed.

We stayed for two nights and three days during the Silver Week holidays in September, traveling from Aichi, and had a wonderful time. Before our stay, we contacted Yufuin Hana-yu by email to confirm details, and just before departure we also received a phone call with further confirmation. Thanks to this, my mother and our whole family were very satisfied. We especially appreciated the thoughtful consideration given to our meals and the in-room amenities. Although the weather was not ideal, the staff’s cheerful and considerate service made our stay very pleasant. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity.

I stayed for one night starting August 14. Every year around this time, I return from Saitama Prefecture to visit family graves, but since my family home was lost in the earthquake, I stay at a Hotel instead. In previous years, I stayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Ichibancho every year, but because the parking lot was always off-site, I learned about Sendai West Exit Premier near the station and stayed here for the first time. Since it’s close to the station, I was worried about parking availability, but I was glad I could park even before check-in time. I’ve stayed at several Daiwa Roynet Hotels, and their bathrooms are my favorite. If I had made my Reservation earlier, a slightly larger Room might have been available, but it was quieter than expected despite being near the station. The location is very convenient, so I would definitely like to stay again next time. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for the first time with our dog to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The welcome drink and dessert were very delicious! The welcome treat for dogs also seemed tasty—our pup finished it in no time! There’s also a drink bar available at certain times, which was great. They even have alcohol, which was the best!! The dog run was air-conditioned, so it was comfortable even in midsummer. Our dog ran around until completely tired out. Dinner is buffet-style, so it’s hard to decide what to eat (lol). The roast beef and sashimi served as a one-plate set at the table were amazing! Alcohol is available for an additional fee, but the food is so good you can’t help wanting a drink (lol). You can dine together with your dog, and there’s also a buffet just for dogs, so we really enjoyed the meal. Since it was our daughter’s birthday, we ordered a cake for an additional fee, and it was delicious as well! The staff celebrated with us too, and our daughter was thrilled! You can also use a private bath. We used it this time; we had 90 minutes, so we could relax without rushing. Dogs are allowed in the private bath too, which is wonderful! There were post-bath drinks and ice cream in the fridge—also fantastic! It’s well worth paying the extra fee! By the way, I also used the large public bath in the morning. The view was great, and it felt wonderful bathing while looking out over Lake Hamana! The breakfast sandwiches were filling and very tasty! They come with pudding too—again, amazing! One of the reasons this Hotel felt so good is definitely how pleasant all of the staff are!! Everyone we met was smiling; they talked to our dog and played with him too. Our pup got lots of love! If I had to mention something negative: although parts have been renovated, there were some areas where you could feel that the building itself is old and showing its age. But personally, there were far more positives than anything else. How easy it is to stay with your dog here, how great the staff service is, how delicious the food is, how relaxing the baths are—we went home satisfied as a whole family! I’m glad we chose this Hotel for our first overnight trip with our dog. We’d love to stay again!!

The Onsen temperature was just right, and the Room was clean and well maintained, so we had a very comfortable stay. The view from the Room was also great. The meals were delicious, and thank you to the staff member who looked after us for being so kind to our children. We would like to stay again when we visit Awaji Island. Next time, we’d love to come in a different season.

From the Room balcony, we had a panoramic view of Shirahama Beach, the ocean, and the town—an unbeatable location. The Room was spacious and truly relaxing. The Hotel itself was lovely, and having a nice smoking room was a real plus for smokers. In the evening, we enjoyed delicious cocktails at the bar counter, and with live piano music it made for a wonderfully comfortable time. The view from the large public bath was also amazing—you can look down over the sea, and the ocean breeze felt incredibly refreshing. Dinner was an Italian course meal and everything was delicious. The breakfast buffet was great too, with both Japanese and Western options. The Hotel also has a pool and a gym, and it’s close to Shirahama World Safari and golf courses—perfect for families with children as well as golf lovers. It was such a wonderful Hotel that we’ll definitely want to visit again.

We visited this inn to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary and to recuperate after a fracture—finally staying at the place we’d long admired, with a private open-air bath fed by free-flowing natural hot spring water. It usually feels like a high-end splurge for us, but this time we decided to go for it—and we were truly satisfied. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented in exquisite tableware. There was such variety, too—especially memorable was the whole deep-fried scorpionfish served with sweet-and-sour sauce, even the bones edible, which was my first time trying. We enjoyed not only dessert after the meal but also my favorite coffee. We’re also grateful for the thoughtful celebration of our golden anniversary. The bath was wonderful as well: a spacious private bath with continuously flowing hot spring water available 24 hours a day. Even when sleepy, it was right there in our room so we could soak immediately—absolutely satisfying. All of the staff were genuinely kind: the shuttle service (with attentive care), the cheerful guidance on arrival, and the meal service (their movements felt like a true calling—thoughtful attention and pleasant conversation). Thanks to everyone, we could relax completely and were very happy. We’ll do our best so that we can come again.

This was our fifth stay in two consecutive years (we also visited 12 and 25 years ago, haha). The Room was clean, the meals were delicious, and we especially enjoyed the extra-ordered red ika somen. We also loved the welcome chestnut steamed yokan. We had one from a famous confectionery in Kyoto the day before, but this one suited our taste better. We bought some at the shop on our way home. Thank you very much for upgrading our Room as well. As we were leaving, the proprietress kindly said, “Please come again,” so we hope to visit again next year. Thank you very much.

The hospitality was outstanding. From check-in to check-out, the staff were consistently attentive. Especially at checkout, they even wiped the car windows. It had rained the night before, so the windows may have been dirty, but this was the first time anyone has ever done that for me—I was truly impressed. Both the quality and quantity of the meals were very satisfying. Dinner featured a duck hot pot as the main dish, along with plenty of extras such as sashimi and Kasumi crab (benizuwai crab). Everything was delicious. If I had to mention anything, it would be that the Ryokan’s bath is small and it’s a bit away from the center of town. Personally, I enjoyed walking around while exploring and visiting different public baths, and they also said they could drive guests there upon request. As for the small bath at the Ryokan, I think it works well if you make use of the public baths too while still enjoying what’s available on-site. I would definitely like to stay again. This was my first time in Toyama, and I stayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Toyama Ekimae. It was conveniently located close to the station, and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was a Japanese-style buffet with a wide variety of dishes, and I was very satisfied. I would like to stay here again the next time I visit Toyama.

The view from the room’s large, open windows is breathtaking. You can even see the leaves just beginning to turn, and it’s a scene you could watch forever. Dinner was served by the window as well, and we enjoyed it at dusk with the chorus of autumn insects as background music. The dishes featured mainly local ingredients, and everything was delicious—you could really tell each item had been carefully prepared with time and care. The abalone at dinner and the octopus at breakfast were simmered to a perfect tenderness, and the seafood in particular—soft-shelled turtle soup, sweet shrimp, blackthroat seaperch (nodoguro), and more—was outstanding. The sake paired with the meal was an exceptional selection that you likely rarely come across, and it matched perfectly all the way through to the final dish of beef simmered with Japanese peppercorns; we thoroughly enjoyed that pairing as well. The hot spring was also wonderfully comfortable—at just the right temperature that you can stay in for ages. It rained unfortunately the next day, but while waiting for the shuttle bus we heard a chorus of frogs from somewhere (they really do sing in unison!), which was soothing too. We’ll be back again.

It might be the perfect base for getting around. It’s not the best value for money, but even taking that into account, I think it deserves a high rating. Breakfast only offered Matsuyama-style sea bream rice; it would have been nice to have more options.

The room, meals, large public bath, and service were all excellent. We were touched that the staff used a dictionary to speak to my wife in her language. The shop also had a wonderful selection of souvenirs, including Hagi ware. We would love to come again.

I stayed for two nights with my son on my birthday. Every detail of the property showed great care, and the staff were warm and attentive, making our stay truly comfortable. The dinner course was far beyond simply “delicious”—it felt like a series of surprises and discoveries. Enjoying local ingredients in their place of origin. It wasn’t just the produce; it felt as if Nara itself was part of the cuisine. Rather than just feeling full, all five senses were satisfied, and for the first time in a while, dining itself felt like an “experience.” In the morning, Kasuga Taisha Shrine was wonderfully quiet and made for a perfect walk. We also climbed Mt. Wakakusa and took our time enjoying the views of Nara. Staying two nights allowed us to fully take it all in. I would love to visit again in a different season.

In-room dining and a private open-air bath in the Room made it a completely private space. The meals were delicious. This Accommodation was great for families with small children, as you can relax and enjoy your stay without worrying about others. It was a bit difficult to do makeup, so having a handheld mirror would be helpful.

I thought breakfast would be a seafood rice bowl, but it was a make-your-own seafood bowl! There were plenty of toppings laid out right in front of me, making it a fun meal to start the day. The Room was also clean and relaxing. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

I stayed for one night on March 29. I chose March because it was just before the spiny lobster fishing ban. This time I booked a luxurious spa Plan, so it was pricey, but it was absolutely worth the cost. The cuisine, spa, Onsen, Room Facilities, and service were all top-tier. As expected from HIRAMATSU, every dish was delicious. The dish made with the spiny lobster head felt a bit heavy for me, but everything else was perfect. The spiny lobster bisque at breakfast was outstanding. The bread and butter at both dinner and breakfast were also excellent. The spa was wonderful—comparable to the Mandarin Hotel’s spa. The Onsen and Room Facilities were also superb; there is nothing to complain about. Service from the manager, head chef, staff, and spa team was flawless. I’d like to return next year during abalone season. I recommend avoiding weekends at the end of March. That’s when F1 Japanese Grand Prix qualifying and the race are held at Suzuka, so Nagoya Station gets extremely crowded and nearby roads are heavily congested. On top of that, Ise Jingu Naiku Shrine was also packed due to a yokozuna dedication sumo event—but I consider it a good experience overall.

The Room was spacious with a great ocean view, and both the meals and the Onsen were excellent. Here are a few highlights: - We chose dinner from 17:30, and one alcoholic drink was free. - The flounder tempura was light and fluffy, and absolutely delicious. - Dinner was served as a course meal, while dessert was offered buffet-style—such a luxurious setup. - The ocean view from the large public bath was wonderful, and all the showers and hair dryers were ReFa products. - What impressed me most was how thoroughly cleaned everything was. Although the Room itself didn’t seem particularly new, it was spotless—especially the washbasin area, which looked older but had no water stains at all and gleamed in every corner. It made our stay very comfortable. There were many great points like these, and we were very satisfied with our stay. Thank you very much.

Revisited on December 12, 2025. As last year, we thoroughly enjoyed Matsuba crab. Since female crab is only available until the end of the year, we visited in December. We ordered an additional female crab and upgraded the dried fish at breakfast to nodoguro. This time, we also made a Reservation for a private Onsen bath to fully enjoy the Onsen. The private bath was excellent—if there’s availability, I highly recommend trying it. Our Room this time was Oborozuki, and the semi-open-air bath in the Room allows you to adjust the depth. This was very convenient: keep it shallow when getting in and out, and make it deeper when soaking. Lastly, it seems some guests found the executive chef’s performance a bit overbearing, but it didn’t bother me at all—perhaps because I’ve experienced much flashier performances overseas many times. We’d like to return again next year.

This was my first trip to Hakodate. There is only one direct flight a day from Nagoya, and I was incredibly lucky to get a ticket. Visiting a new place for the first time is so exciting. The Room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows with a panoramic view of Mt. Hakodate. The space was generous, and the bathtub and sink were spacious as well. The lighting switches were thoughtfully placed throughout, making everything very convenient—it was almost too comfortable! Dinner at Kita Jin (booked separately) was also excellent: premium Genghis Khan in a private room, relaxed and delicious. Breakfast was around 8:00, and we were seated right away. We came without much prior knowledge and were amazed by the variety—and even more by the quality of every dish. My spouse and I travel all over the whole country, and this may have been our best breakfast ever. Personally, I loved the eel snack with tea, dim sum, sashimi, chiffon cake, and egg tarts. What stayed with us most from this trip was meeting so many wonderful people in Hakodate: The kind driver with a great smile on the airport limousine bus. At lunchtime at Lucky Pierrot near the station—busy as it was—a female staff member still let us draw an Ichiban Kuji lottery ticket and gave us a pin badge with a big smile. At NIPPONIA Hotel Hakodate Port Town on our first day—a female staff member kindly explained everything and gave us a hand-drawn illustrated map of nearby spots within walking distance. On an evening sightseeing taxi tour to see Mt. Hakodate’s night view—a female driver born in Hakodate from Donan Taxi carefully explained local history, the Western-style houses in Motomachi, and the origins of Soma-tei. The staff who made our motorboat cruise even more enjoyable under clear skies the next day. At lunch near the station at Uni Specialty Shop Yoichiya—a female employee whose attentiveness and refined service truly impressed us. And above all, at Century Marina’s front desk—the female staff member who kindly explained everything for our first stay left a wonderful impression with her polite service; of course, the male staff member at checkout was also outstanding. The quick yet courteous service at Kita Jin was excellent as well—we are truly grateful to have stayed at this Hotel. It was an intense 2-night/3-day trip to Hakodate, but seeing everyone working so hard to make their city shine really moved us—it looked genuinely inspiring. We will definitely come again. I truly fell in love with historic Hakodate from the bottom of my heart!
