We arrived early, but the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were very satisfied with the ocean view from the Room, the open-air bath, and the dinner featuring seafood and steak. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

I stayed alone in a cottage, and for this price, the Room, meals, and Onsen were all excellent. The kiln-baked dish was especially delicious. The staff were very kind, the Room was clean, and I was able to relax in nature. In the morning, it wasn’t a large bath but a smaller one; it was also clean and comfortable.

All the staff were kind and pleasant. Every dish was delicious, and we were very satisfied. The international staff were all cheerful and greeted us with warm smiles, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Stayed in August 2026: 2 adults and 2 toddlers for JPY 15,810 with breakfast. As the title says. This is a very important point for guests, yet many hotels don’t seem to notice it at all. [In midsummer and midwinter, guests’ health can be affected by how clean the air conditioner is.] I hope you will continue to prioritize this. The Onsen was average (understandable given the low price). Breakfast was just enough to fill you up (also understandable given the low price). As for a one-of-a-kind experience: My wife accidentally dropped the breakfast tongs because their holder was unstable. When she informed and apologized to a female staff member in her 50s or so, she was told, “Please be careful,” which felt like surprisingly high-level customer service. It may simply be a local cultural thing, and I also felt that if I (a man) had done it, I probably wouldn’t have been admonished. Also, since she was serving food rather than working at reception where various types of guest interaction are required, it gave me the impression she spoke without much thought (no ill intent—more like “that’s obvious”). It was quite unpleasant, but I’m not dwelling on it. Because even though the room rate was affordable, the air conditioner was clean.

This is a private rental of a renovated traditional house, very spacious, and overall we had a comfortable stay. The bedroom was cozy, and the bathroom and vanity area were especially large, which made it convenient for two people to get ready at the same time. The lighting was bright and easy to use, insect control indoors was well handled, and we were able to use the Facility without any issues. When we consulted in advance about the check-in time, they kindly accommodated an earlier check-in, which was very helpful. There is also Shuttle Service available, making transportation very convenient. On the other hand, there are two points we would be happy to see improved. First is the height of some beams. For someone around 175 cm tall, a beam sits just above eye level, making it easy to miss—I hit my head several times. Since I hit it quite hard once, for safety it would be reassuring to have warning stickers or signs. Second, in the first-floor bedroom we could hear some road noise from passing cars at night. The second floor was relatively quiet, so those who are sensitive to noise may prefer sleeping upstairs. Other than that, everything was very comfortable and we enjoyed the unique atmosphere of a traditional house.

As amazing as always! :) It would be great to have shoe polishing paper and a clothes brush available.

This was my fifth stay. Despite the high price, it was the worst so far. What was good: The Onsen hopping was as good as always. What was bad: At dinner, I ordered a draft beer, but it took a long time to arrive. When I rang the bell to call staff, the female attendant said, “Was it not served yet?” in an extremely unfriendly manner. Also, although I requested the same Room as last time, I was given one where the sink and toilet were in the same space. There were also steep steps inside, which was difficult for elderly guests. There were no power outlets near the bed, which was inconvenient. The TV couldn’t play YouTube (even though I have an account), which was very disappointing. It felt like an ordinary Room with only a massage chair. I will think twice about staying again next time.

I’m not comfortable with noisy, bustling places, so I chose to stay here. The meals were delicious, and the hostess’s warm smile was truly soothing. Breakfast was also very satisfying, and I would love to stay again. I was able to relax and spend a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

We stayed with five adults and one Shih Tzu. It was a private rental house, and the Rooms were spacious. It was very comfortable, with a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, and everything we needed. When we stay at a Hotel, we usually have to split into multiple Rooms, so our dog ends up feeling a bit lonely. Here, everyone could be together in the large living room except when sleeping, so our dog was able to relax. The bath also warmed us up well thanks to the natural Onsen minerals. Having toilets on both the first and second floors was also very helpful. The bedroom was spacious as well, and we could relax comfortably. My family loved it and said they’d like to come again next year. One thing I’d like to request for improvement is the number of cups for brushing teeth in the washroom. For five people, there were only two cups. We would appreciate it if you could provide enough for the number of guests. Thank you very much!

I was very satisfied. The meals were delicious.

This was my third visit to Itoshima, the first in two years. Last time, after heavy rain the day before, it suddenly turned into a midsummer day, and the breathtaking sunset—changing moment by moment against the vast ocean—was truly moving. I enjoyed delicious food and the relaxed pace that only an all-inclusive stay can offer. This time had a different atmosphere and some changes. Arriving in a downpour with luggage, I climbed the stone steps to check in. What surprised me right away was “10:00 checkout”! I never expected it to be an hour earlier—maybe a pitfall of being a repeat guest? I was told it was changed because lunch service starts at 11:00 with reservations… but 10:00 still feels far too early. Since we spend about four hours round trip for an overnight stay, we want to relax as much as possible. If possible, I hope you will consider setting check-in to 16:00 and returning checkout to 11:00—I would be glad if this request from repeat guests reaches you. This time we dined while watching the post-rain evening scenery, and the food was just as delicious as ever—I was very satisfied. The soup course in particular had wonderful Japanese dashi flavor and was deeply comforting, and the tempura made from fresh squid (prepared after sashimi) was especially appreciated; as someone who loves cooking at home, having a professional fry dishes is a real treat. It was also disappointing not to see any of the staff members from previous visits. The photo shows “Itoshima Bay—an evening view after the rain.”

If stylish girls come to Osaka, W Osaka is a place they’ll want to visit at least once. It’s cute from the entrance and instantly lifts your mood. The lounge on the W floor is also stylish, and the breakfast is luxurious and delicious. The Room is pop and adorable, too. Even the bathtub is cute. I fully enjoyed a happy time at W Osaka.

The entrance has a charming atmosphere and feels very historic. The hallway to the dining Room and the Room itself showed some age, but the Room had been renovated and was very clean. The meal included not only what was initially served but also additional dishes that came later, making it almost impossible to finish everything. The Shimane beef steak was incredibly tender and surprising. Although I was disappointed that the nodoguro fish came as fillets instead of whole with its head as shown in photos, it turned out to be about one whole fish's worth of fillets, which left me very satisfied. I regretted eating in the wrong order since I was so full! (laughs) Breakfast was also delicious, and I finished every bite. I visited some sightseeing spots recommended during checkout. The sightseeing boat at Matsue Castle was super fun! With Izumo Taisha nearby, the location is excellent, and even the event held in front of the Ryokan added to my enjoyment. I definitely want to visit again! The only thing that caught my attention a little was the floor in the dining Room (laughs).

I stayed without meals, but locals told me it used to be a kappo Ryokan and that the food is excellent. Next time, I’d like to stay with meals included. Both the futon and the Room were clean, and there was a large communal bath, so my stay was very comfortable.

I stayed here because I wanted to ride the Dragon Road to Unzen, and this plan included meals. I was allowed to park my motorcycle under the eaves by the entrance. The building was kept very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. Amenities include a toothbrush, face towel, bath towel, and yukata. I was able to soak in the bath and get a good night’s sleep, and both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Thanks to that, I could eat plenty in the morning before heading out. The view from the room was also great.

We stayed with two adults and two children, and the tent was clean and very nice. We could also park our car right next to each tent. We had a great time with the loaner playing cards and The Game of Life, as well as the Mölkky that was in the Room. Dinner was generous even for the kids’ meals, and everything was delicious. Since it was wagyu beef, we felt fuller than it looked. We were also glad to receive ice and water. The toilets and bath felt a little far away, but there were plenty of lights even at night, so our children weren’t scared to go. Overall, everything felt very clean, and they handled both setup and cleanup for us, so we felt it’s an easy glamping Facility to try even for first-timers.

We stayed here with our two children on the way back from Kashiwajima. The staff’s explanations were very thorough, the meals were delicious and more than we could finish, and the Facility was clean—our kids were thrilled with the bunk beds. The nearby Onsen in the adjoining facility was also excellent, and we appreciated receiving stylish amenities. Occasionally small ants came in, but that seems unavoidable with glamping. We’d love to stay again.

Many guests were also staying here to go golfing. The Hotel staff were very kind. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and I had a comfortable stay. The food was delicious as well. I was very satisfied. Thank you!

Perched on the slope opposite Gora Onsen (so rooms facing the valley offer views over the town of Gora), it feels like a quiet mountain retreat. Access was also easy; while the roads are narrow, it’s less crowded than central Gora and we arrived without much trouble. Though small with only eight rooms, it offers in-room hot spring baths with free-flowing water (a comfortable size for two) and two shared baths (more like an enlarged pension-style bath, probably for about four people). When they’re not busy, you can enjoy them as if they were private. Meals are served in your room, so there’s very little contact with other guests, and we were able to relax at our own pace. We enjoyed a carefully prepared kaiseki course meal, savoring each dish slowly. The dessert felt a little modest, but later (after the futons were laid out) we received a late-night snack of inari sushi and fruit—an unexpected touch that showed thoughtful hospitality. Since we were visiting for our anniversary as a couple, they also brought us a small cake and tea, which made us very happy. Large luxury hotels are wonderful too, but what makes this inn special is being able to enjoy an onsen trip quietly as a couple or family without distractions from others. It seems they also have an annex villa, so I’d love to try that next time.

The room was wonderful and thoughtfully appointed down to the smallest details, and the in-room hot spring bath was outstanding. Being able to relax and enjoy the hot spring at our own pace, along with delicious meals, made for a truly satisfying stay. We stayed with our family and relatives, bringing two children. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a waterfall, and crossing stepping stones on the way inside added an exciting touch. The welcome drink service—complete with a choice of traditional Japanese sweets—was also a lovely gesture. The room felt spacious even with three beds, offering a refined “modern Japanese” atmosphere. The hinoki-scented bath in the guest room was especially appreciated when traveling with children, as we could enjoy the hot spring whenever we liked. Dinner had a clear concept behind each dish and was said to represent the journey from beginning to end through cuisine. Everything was delicious and generously portioned—each course made us look forward to what came next. On top of that, during dinner our table attendant even entertained our child; we were genuinely moved by such thoughtful hospitality. This is an inn where adults can fully enjoy themselves even when traveling with children. Highly recommended for family trips or travel with relatives—we would love to return.
