I booked this stay because of the great Reviews, and it really caught my interest. After sightseeing at Kinomiya Shrine, we took a taxi there, and they warmly welcomed us at the entrance upon arrival. We were traveling with our 4-year-old and 1-year-old children, and everyone was so kind that the kids seemed to have a wonderful time. And above all, I was amazed at how incredibly delicious the food was. My husband and I weren’t very hungry when we went to dinner, but every dish was so good that before we knew it, we had finished everything. Even the appetizers were outstanding. We’ve traveled to many places before, but this was the first time we’ve had food this delicious. The children’s meal was also excellent, and even our child who usually eats very little seemed to eat a lot. Since our younger child is still small, my younger child and I used the in-Room bath, but it was spacious and spotless, so we enjoyed it more than enough. When we come to Atami again, I definitely want to stay here again!

I stayed for two nights as a solo traveler. The Hotel and my Room were very clean, and I was able to enjoy the Onsen and large public bath comfortably. Although it was all-inclusive, I chose to add a luxurious dinner and breakfast on both nights, and I was truly impressed that the menus were changed each day. The locally sourced ingredients were delicious, and in particular the olive-fed beef was tender and easy to eat even when well done. Even as a solo guest, the staff treated me warmly. The restaurant staff especially spoke with me with genuine smiles, creating a relaxed atmosphere that left me with wonderful memories of my trip. Thank you very much. The lounge I used after dinner was also very spacious with a great ambiance, and I was surprised by the wide variety of drinks available. They even served udon as a late-night snack, which really gave me a taste of Kagawa. I sincerely appreciate everyone’s warm hospitality. This is a Hotel I would love to stay at again when I visit Kagawa.

I stayed one night in the newly renovated special room on the top floor. The view from the window was amazing, and the bathtub was spacious, allowing me to relax. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The free private bath was also large and comfortable. For dinner, there were abalone sashimi and whale dishes, which were delicious. Breakfast was a buffet with a limited selection but still tasty. The staff were always smiling and very friendly. Thank you!

After finally arriving through heavy rain on this trip, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The meals were served in a calm lounge, and we could really feel the care put into each dish. The Onsen was wonderful, but unfortunately, due to torrential rain severe enough to trigger warnings, the water temperature dropped on the morning of the second day. We were especially disappointed that we couldn’t use the bath in our Room. With expressways closed, sightseeing wasn’t possible at all, so we’d like to come back next time for a retry. The Accommodation is a pleasant, clean Hotel, and all of the staff were very kind.

We visited as a couple to relax and enjoy the Onsen at a leisurely pace. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the station to the Accommodation. You can request pick-up, but we chose to walk and soak in the atmosphere. The Room was spacious enough for two, and you can enjoy views including the sea through the large window. The in-room Onsen bath was more than sufficient, but we also reserved a private bath so we could have a large Onsen all to ourselves. It happened to be firefly-viewing season, so we enjoyed it with Shuttle Service included. The meals were incredibly delicious—an extensive menu centered on seafood, vegetables, and mountain produce. The sashimi was outstanding, and breakfast deserves special mention: miso soup made with broth from the spiny lobster shells from dinner and black rice were exceptional. This is a small Accommodation with attentive staff—perfect for enjoying the Onsen, nearby walks, and great food. We had a truly luxurious one-night stay. P.S. For those considering staying: due to structural reasons, loud noises in neighboring Rooms can be heard, and any loud noise you make will likely carry as well. If that doesn’t bother you, you’ll be able to enjoy a relaxing stay in a quiet environment away from tourist areas with few people around.

We enjoyed another wonderful trip to Kanazawa. The staff at the club lounge were very kind and took great care of us. The green tea jelly was especially delicious. Thank you very much! We’re looking forward to visiting again in winter.

All Rooms are private and completely soundproof, and the location felt truly luxurious, with nothing but ocean as far as the eye could see from the open-air bath in the garden. Although it was cloudy, we could see a starry sky at night when we turned off the lights, and it was wonderful to relax in the bath while enjoying a pleasant breeze. The meals were especially delicious—particularly the dishes featuring dashi broth. We would love to visit again.

We had a very comfortable stay, including the Room, meals (featuring ingredients from Kochi), and the large public bath. The sweet yuzu tea in the post-bath lounge was especially delicious. (It would be even better if it were replenished a bit more.) Also, when we asked where we could use handheld fireworks, the front desk staff immediately told us that it would be possible around the area in front of the Lawson at Josei Park, about a 5–10 minute walk from the Accommodation (on the concrete ground). This was very helpful, and our child was able to enjoy fireworks. (We asked at other hotels as well, but in the end we couldn’t find out where it was allowed…) Just one point: our child’s dinner was prepared as a Western-style meal, although it seems Japanese-style could also be selected. If there is an option to choose, we would appreciate being asked in advance (ideally at the time of Reservation). Our child prefers Japanese food, so we shared from our meal instead. (At check-in it had already been prepared; we were told that remaking it would incur an additional charge.) Overall, however, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely like to use this Accommodation again on our next visit to Kochi. (A small detail: having a freezer function in the in-room refrigerator was very helpful for refreezing ice packs.)

We stayed here on a trip with a family we know, and it was wonderful as always. We’ve stayed several times, so both my wife and I can relax with peace of mind—this is our favorite hot spring Accommodation. The family staying with us was also very satisfied, making it the perfect vacation. Since one of our group had difficulty walking, we truly appreciate you accommodating our various requests. Just steps from the tram stop—perfect as a base for exploring the city! Toyama Castle is also nearby, making it ideal for an evening stroll. Don’t miss the breakfast—highly recommended! The local Toyama ingredients and dishes are delicious. You might end up eating too much.

We enjoyed a crab kaiseki meal, and every dish was carefully prepared and truly delicious, allowing us to fully savor the winter flavors of the San’in region. The Room was equipped with a massage chair, so after warming up in the Onsen we could relax and loosen up at our own pace, making our stay very comfortable. It felt as though the fatigue from our trip simply melted away, and we appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. When we arrived by car, three staff members welcomed us, and their warm greeting immediately brought a smile to our faces. Throughout our stay, every staff member was courteous and pleasant, which made us feel at ease. We felt that the excellent hospitality further enhances this Accommodation’s appeal. It was a highly satisfying stay where both body and mind could truly rest. We would love to visit again.

We had to change our travel Plan due to our own circumstances, and we truly appreciate your courteous and prompt assistance. This time, we chose Kikunoya because we wanted to take our time sightseeing in Miyajima. Its convenient location near Itsukushima Shrine and Daisho-in allowed us to enjoy the area with the Hotel as our base. Not only at the front desk but also during the Shuttle Service ride, we were able to hear stories and helpful local tips about Miyajima, which made our visits even more enjoyable. Because it was a three-day weekend right at the start of summer vacation, it ended up a little over our original budget—but we wanted to stay here so badly that we made the Reservation anyway. And once we actually stayed… it was worth every yen—no, even more than that. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was even better than expected: right in front of us were white sand and a blue sea. There were quite a few families and international guests, but at night it was very quiet. You can head straight to the beach from the Hotel, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—dedicated beach sandals, a washing machine, towels, and more. I also really appreciated that when you take off your slippers there, you can place them neatly into a shoe box labeled with your Room name—something I found especially reassuring as someone who’s a bit particular about cleanliness. The Room was truly spacious, spotless, and very functional. Everything felt refined from corner to corner—the washbasin, furnishings, wall colors, decorations—all beautifully coordinated and calming. A small detail, but the loungewear fabric was very soft and had buttons so it stayed in place comfortably. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room had excellent water quality and temperature. Being able to soak slowly while looking out at the ocean—with no insects flying around—was pure bliss. We enjoyed our in-room meals while chatting pleasantly with our attendant; everything was delicious. The simmered whole kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially impressive—large and full of flavor—truly “this is Izu!” That said, personally I would have preferred beef as steak (even a small portion) rather than chilled shabu-shabu wrapped with vegetables. If many guests are older adults, it would be great if there were an option available even with an additional charge. Breakfast included many dishes as well—I ended up eating quite a lot first thing in the morning! Overall this Accommodation deserves high marks across the board; if I had to be strictly critical, dinner alone could have felt slightly more luxurious or surprising—something that makes you think “This is exceptional—I’ve never tasted anything like it.” Even so, it was such a wonderful Accommodation that I absolutely want to return again next year. I ended up coming back again in less than a month. When I finally had some free time and wondered where to go, my feet naturally led me to Hotel AreaOne Banjinmisaki. This time the Hotel was almost fully booked. There seemed to be a sports tournament nearby, and many families were staying the night before—an eye-opening way to use the Hotel. Our family came to enjoy the sea at Banjinmisaki and to see the winged swim ring we’d spotted on Instagram. With a free rental float in hand, we played in the water at the nearly empty beach right in front of us. The kids were thrilled, and our whole family had a wonderful time. Even though it wasn’t officially beach season yet, the water was already warm enough for us to fully enjoy playing with our children along the shoreline. There’s a shower room on the first floor of the Hotel, so it’s easy to rinse off sand. If you bring your yukata with you, you can rinse off and head straight to the bath—such great convenience. I say this every time, but I truly believe the view from the Room window is the best in the world. Relaxing in your Room while watching the sunset, then setting off fireworks under a sky full of stars—I don’t think there are many Hotels like this anywhere in Japan, or even worldwide. And I feel that our Kashiwazaki trip is made possible by all of this thanks to everyone on staff who supports these wonderful moments. This time we were lucky enough to get tai meshi for breakfast, and we enjoyed an amazing meal together with an incredible view—such a satisfying morning. While browsing the Hotel’s souvenir corner, we bought some lovely sweets and a spoon like those shown in photos. Many Hotels sell souvenirs made in Osaka or Saitama—or even overseas—but this Hotel offers local specialties properly made in Niigata, which left a great impression on me. The sweets were made in Kashiwazaki and were delicious. As for the spoon—it was crafted by an artisan from Tsubame-Sanjo—and it’s so outstanding that after using it at home I honestly felt it might be “the best spoon in the world,” just like this Hotel. A Hotel that can curate souvenirs like these really might be number one! I always care more about where something is manufactured than who sells it, so I think this Hotel has impeccable taste with its strong selection of local specialties. On this trip—despite having visited dozens of times—I realized for the first time that even just browsing this souvenir corner makes staying here worthwhile. In any case, this is truly an excellent Hotel with wonderful staff who have great taste as well. We’ll definitely be back!

The room was spacious, and we were able to relax and take our time. It would have been nice to have an elevator, though... I wonder if the bath was an Onsen? We left without asking. All the staff were kind and pleasant. The night view was amazing—perfect!

This was our first time staying as a family of six. We stayed in the annex, and the building was clean and a great environment for families with children without worrying about noise. The bath was spacious, and we loved that it had free-flowing natural hot spring water. The Onsen pool was also large, and the kids really enjoyed it. The night pool had a magical atmosphere as well. It turned into a wonderful trip.

Two adults and two dogs stayed here. On the way in, our navigation system guided us on a detour and we ended up arriving via a very narrow road. However, the staff showed us that if you exit onto the road right in front, you’re immediately on a main road and it’s very close to the Awaji Interchange—an excellent location. Our dogs had a blast running around both the shared dog run and the private run in our Room. We really appreciated the free drinks available at the shared run. Dinner at Genpei was amazing—the conger eel hot pot and sashimi were delicious, and there was plenty of food (laugh). In summer, most vacation rentals have lots of insects, but there were very few this time, which was great. They clearly take proper pest control measures. The staff were also wonderful and kindly helped us throughout our stay. We’ll definitely come back again.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in our Room. The spacious, beautifully appointed Room, the open-air bath while listening to the gentle sound of the river, and the truly delicious cuisine supported by carefully prepared dashi made for an incredibly luxurious and unforgettable time. Although it was described as “quality over quantity,” we were more than satisfied with the generous portions as well—every dish, including crab and fish, was outstanding and deeply impressive. We visited to celebrate my mother’s retirement, and she was thrilled, saying she had never had such delicious food before. With a bath in the Room and in-room dining, our family was able to unwind at our own pace; we felt completely refreshed and ready to do our best again from tomorrow. The staff were efficient, cheerful, and welcoming, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much—we would love to visit again!

We stayed here as a family. Inami is known as a mecca for traditional woodcarving artisans, and this Accommodation—renovated from an old kimono shop—perfectly matches the unique atmosphere of the town. Only one group per day. As others have commented, the Room, garden, and bath were all truly impeccable. What stood out most was the chef, who also served as our concierge. He was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much about the ingredients, the town’s history, and more. I was deeply moved by how learning about the cuisine and ingredients while dining made the meal even more extraordinary—it reminded me that food is also an encounter in itself. Thank you very much. Hearing about their experience after the Noto earthquake was heartbreaking, but we could also feel how people in Hokuriku are moving forward with determination. We would love to stay again.

Based on the Reviews, we chose this property for our once-a-year family trip. Just as the Reviews said, every dish was truly delicious and carefully prepared, and we were very satisfied. The only regret is that we ate too much at lunch and couldn’t finish everything because we were so full. Next time, I’d like to come with a good appetite and enjoy every course from start to finish. The Room was new and spotless, and the view of Toyama Bay from the window was wonderful. We were able to relax and spend a peaceful time. We made great memories as a family. We would love to stay again.
