We’ve been staying here during the Obon holiday season since last year! Above all, the meals are delicious! My daughter, who is a picky eater, was so happy and said it was truly delicious—she even ate my portion as well. The property has a long history, but the Room is clean, and we really appreciate the thoughtful touches such as providing water. All of the staff are polite, and their smiles are wonderful. We’d love to stay again next year. Thank you very much!

Soaking in the Onsen surrounded by nature is truly uplifting. Just an hour from Nagoya is also a plus.

I think it’s outstanding for relieving lower back pain and fatigue. I was traveling by public transportation and usually had to take breaks because of my back pain, but the day after soaking in the Onsen here, I was able to walk all day without any pain. It was very gentle, not strongly scented, and truly a wonderful bath. As for the Facility, it felt a little old. The meals were generous in portion and very delicious. Although the Facility felt a bit dated, I was still able to relax comfortably. In any case, the Onsen was great! I’d like to visit again in winter.

We had such an elegant, relaxing time with our dog! With an ocean view, the atmosphere is wonderful. The Facility feels fairly new, and everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. We could take walks along the coast anytime, so it was easy to stroll around with our dog—especially in the morning, which felt amazing. There’s also a dog run where our dog could play freely, and the pet amenities were well provided, which gave us peace of mind. We also really enjoyed the BBQ dinner we’d been looking forward to—being able to enjoy it together with our dog meant we took lots of adorable photos. It was even more filling than expected, and we were very satisfied. One thing to note is that there aren’t any convenience stores or shops right near the villa, so for late-night drinks or snacks to enjoy in your Room, it’s best to buy them in advance and bring them with you or use the on-site shop. There’s a whale museum right next door as well, which made for a great sightseeing activity. It was the perfect place to make memories with our beloved dog. We’d love to visit again in a different season!

We stayed at UKAN on the BBQ course Plan. Check-in was at 3:00 PM, but they let us park from around 2:00 PM, so we could play in the sea right in front. There is a swimming beach next to the Accommodation, and it felt like it continued all the way to the front of where we stayed. It seemed safe to swim; there were quite a few people at the main beach, but right in front was quiet and mostly just for guests. The slope from sand to water is a bit steep, so small children may need extra attention, but it’s still fine to enjoy. There’s a breakwater at the edge of the swimming area where you can fish. That was our main purpose this time, and we were happy we got to enjoy fishing. The Room was generally clean. There was a stain left by previous guests that seemed to be removed around check-in time. We appreciated their effort to keep things clean, though it would have been even better if it had been finished before check-in. For the BBQ, the portions looked small based on how they were plated, so we went out to buy extra food at a convenience store—but in the end it was enough. Breakfast might feel a little light. The BBQ Facility includes a grill and table and is basically sufficient, but better lighting, table settings, and an improved BBQ area layout would likely increase satisfaction. As for insects, since it’s between mountains and the sea, I think it can’t really be helped. If you keep everything closed they generally don’t come in. However, because you go back and forth between the Room during BBQ time, some inevitably got inside. If insect control could be improved further, it would feel more reassuring. (I’m not too bothered by bugs, but my wife felt a bit uneasy.) The air conditioning in the Room was comfortable, but there was an odor in the washroom—maybe humidity or drainage—that bothered me. Overall we were satisfied despite these points. We’d like to stay again soon.

We got caught in traffic and barely made it in time for dinner, but they extended the time for us, and we were able to enjoy the buffet. Thank you so much to all the staff for your warm smiles! The room was also very clean and lovely! ...I now want a hammock at home too. Haha I definitely want to come back again to enjoy the property more leisurely next time.

We used the accommodation for sightseeing by car on three islands in Ehime. It was difficult to find an accommodation with meals included, especially the day before our stay, but we were lucky to secure a reservation. The price was very reasonable, and although we didn’t expect luxurious meals initially, the food provided exceeded our expectations and was incredibly satisfying. The dishes included sashimi, simmered sea bream head, fried sea bream, side dishes, and more. We were amazed that the sea bream rice was all-you-can-eat! Not only for dinner but also for breakfast, sea bream rice was served—such variety at such an affordable price is unbelievable. If we have another chance, we would love to stay again. I stayed for one night on a business trip to Naoetsu. The Hotel is conveniently located near the station. Although it is a bit old in places, it was clean and well maintained, so I felt comfortable and at ease. The staff were also wonderful and very helpful. I would like to stay again when I visit next time.

The view was wonderful, and the Room had a charming, old-fashioned feel. Although there is no toilet or bath in the Room, everything is clean. The rice was delicious, and the Onsen was excellent. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I stayed here during the Obon holidays and truly had a wonderfully relaxing time. Not only were the hearty, delicious dinner and breakfast excellent, but the rooftop views were stunning both morning and night, and the Onsen was incredibly soothing. Thank you as always for your hospitality. I love the quality of the hot springs, and both the sulfur spring and the bicarbonate spring are wonderfully relaxing—I always look forward to them. I stayed here during the Obon holiday. I came thinking, “The view looks nice, and as long as I can sleep well, that’s enough,” but in the best way possible, my expectations were completely exceeded. This time I stayed in a Japanese-style room before the renovation, and it felt very clean. The futon was fluffy, and above all, the view from the window was amazing. The Onsen wasn’t overly large and had a calm, relaxing atmosphere, so I was able to unwind at a leisurely pace. Most memorable of all was the warm hospitality from the wonderful owner couple and all of the staff. Of course the Accommodation itself is very comfortable, but I think what makes you want to come back is this kind of genuine warmth from people. On top of that, at check-out there was an exclusive service for guests: a photo shoot by the owner, who is also a professional photographer! The beautiful photo data were later sent by email as well—it became an unexpected and very happy memory. I also heard they are continuing to renovate parts of the building little by little even now, so it’s exciting to see how it changes with each visit. I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of Accommodation it will become in the future. Even though I went planning “just to stay overnight,” I came home with wonderful memories—including the scenery, the Onsen, and meeting such kind people. I would definitely love to visit again. *This isn’t directly related to Hotel services, but please note that the entrance from the street can be a bit hard to find, and some parts of the road leading up to this Accommodation are narrow. If you’re coming by car, it may help to drive carefully on your way here.*

Dinner was outstanding! Every dish served was delicious. I’d love to have the octopus steak and the simmered clams again. The mozuku seaweed was a variety I don’t usually see, and the recommended “Gyorokke” was also very satisfying. It’s an Accommodation for food lovers that I’d like to visit again.

Three friends and I stayed here. Although it is a guesthouse, we were glad the Room had a private bath and toilet. Dinner came with crab and grilled fish and was delicious, and we were very satisfied with breakfast as well. We would like to stay again.

Shuttle Service, two meals, a towel, and one drink were included for around 10,000 yen. It was very reasonable, close to the sea, and the view from the Room was fantastic. There are also sightseeing spots like the Anmo Observatory, which made the experience excellent. I would love to visit again.

From the hostess’s warm welcome to the stunning third-floor Room and terrace with exceptional views. The Room has windows on three sides. Open the door and you’re greeted by a view of Cape Shionomisaki. A terrace where you can enjoy both sunset and sunrise. Every dish was delicious—we ordered two servings each of the meat course and the fish course, and ended up overeating. I was a bit surprised that access to the Room was via an outdoor staircase I hadn’t expected, but once you come down the stairs, Cape Shionomisaki is right in front of you. If it had been raining, getting around might have been tough, but luckily the rain from the previous day had cleared, temperatures rose, and my mood soared too. The bath is not an Onsen, but while it shows its age, it was clean and felt well maintained. Another thing I loved was the “duvet cover.” It felt so nice that I want to find one for home—I wish I’d asked what brand it was. The Room itself was so comfortable, and it was great to just zone out while gently swaying in the hammock.

We stayed as a family with our 3-year-old and 1-year-old grandchildren. Dinner featured an abundant selection of seafood, all fresh and delicious, and both my wife and daughter were very satisfied. Being able to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace in our Room helped the children stay calm, and we were able to spend unhurried time together as a family. In addition, we are truly grateful to the staff member who was very kind to the children and proactively supported us. Thanks to that, we felt at ease throughout our stay. This Accommodation is highly recommended for families. *There are rental bicycles near the Accommodation, and it was also a wonderful memory being able to cycle down to the seaside in the morning to take photos. We enjoyed quiet Kamakura in the early morning—it was such a refreshing time.* Thank you very much.

This time we came to Yugawara to see fireflies. It was truly magical and moving. Although this Accommodation is old, the bathroom and water facilities in the Room have been nicely renovated, and there are four private Onsen baths, so you can relax and enjoy them at your own pace. The meals can be served in your Room and were very delicious. We chose the smaller course, but it was more than enough for us seniors. However, perhaps because the building is old, we were quite bothered by noises such as footsteps at night and woke up several times. Next time, we would like to stay in a Room with a private bath. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

It had been a while since I last visited Hamamura Onsen. Ryofuan had a dignified presence and felt rich in history, but the town itself seemed a bit quiet. The value for money was great, the Onsen water was pleasantly soft, and I was satisfied with the meals, but it was disappointing that the Room refrigerator wasn’t useful.

The meals were full of surprises. The seafood selection was outstanding and incredibly delicious. Breakfast was particularly memorable as it included sushi, which was a first for me. It featured luxurious items like fatty tuna, sea urchin, scallops, and angel shrimp—exceptional for a morning meal. The simmered tuna head was also delightful. The baths were all private with no time limits, allowing us to fully enjoy the Onsen experience. This is an Onsen accommodation worth revisiting!
