It’s been a while since I stayed somewhere that helps carry your luggage. (LOL) The service was polite and great. As for the meals, given the price I didn’t expect them to be like the photos, but they really were—especially the sashimi platter with a big spiny lobster, which was delicious and very satisfying. The building and Facility are a bit old, but the location is right by the beach so you can go for a walk, and I was very happy with breakfast while looking at the sea and the footbath!

I was a bit worried because the Harmonyland ticket Plan with breakfast and dinner was so affordable, but the Room had seaside beds and the buffet—irresistible for seafood lovers—was excellent. It was a very family-friendly Accommodation. Next time, I’d definitely like to stay and use the pool. This was a great find after a long time.

We stayed for one night in August. Even in the high season, being able to stay at this price with both breakfast and dinner included is excellent value for money and very helpful for families. The front desk staff also provided very courteous explanations. The bathing area was a bit small, but overall—including the meals—we were very satisfied. If we have the opportunity, we would like to stay again.

This Hotel is set on spacious grounds in a quiet lakeside setting, perfect for relaxing at a leisurely pace. The view from the panoramic bath is outstanding. The meals are generous—so much so that you may not be able to finish everything. The only drawback was that BS channels were not available.

I felt this Accommodation could be rated very differently depending on the purpose of your trip and the Room you choose. I stayed because I was interested in their guest Room with a semi-open-air bath. The exterior looks dated, and the front desk area doesn’t feel like a typical Hotel, which made me a bit uneasy at first. But once I entered the Room, it was very clean and instantly lifted my mood. The Facility also felt relatively new and well maintained. And of course, it has an ocean view. The refrigerator includes a freezer compartment, and there’s also a microwave and a washing machine (with dryer). Amenities such as skincare items and cleansing products are all provided individually packaged. There were two bath towels set out plus one spare in the drawer—three per person in total, which was more than enough. (Though I’m not sure if this applies only to Rooms with a semi-open-air bath.) Most importantly, the semi-open-air bath was truly wonderful. You can see the ocean at a glance through the large window, and the tub is spacious enough for what feels like four people. The Onsen in the Room is not free-flowing, but it’s easy to adjust the temperature so you can soak as long as you like at your preferred heat. Because there’s a glass partition between it and the living area, you can even watch TV (with subtitles) while bathing. The staff were pleasant and kind—they quickly helped me exchange my indoor sandal size and delivered them to my Room. It was No Meals Included, but it’s close to both the station and Atami Ginza, making dining out and shopping very convenient. It’s different from an ordinary Hotel, but as a condominium-style stay with an in-room Onsen, it was excellent. I highly recommend the Grand View Room. I’d love to visit again.

Although it was a stay without meals, I got a great deal by using a last-minute discount. I was able to relax in the bath, and I was satisfied with the Room as well! It’s an Accommodation I’d like to use again.

I really wanted to stay at a three-star buffet Accommodation, so I chose this one. The food was delicious—above all, the sashimi was excellent. I ate way too much sushi as well. I also fully enjoyed the seafood grill, especially the abalone and other items that are hard to come by in everyday life. The Hotel Facility is old, though. But since I came for the meals, it wasn’t an issue. I mistakenly thought it was a premium Accommodation, so it was disappointing that there were no soft drinks. At dinner, I added an all-you-can-drink option for about 2,500 yen, so I was very satisfied. It was supposed to be Airweave bedding, but I didn’t find it particularly comfortable to sleep on.

For the past few years, we have stayed here almost every year. It reminds us how wonderful it is to spend time with family in nature. The Room and the surrounding greenery are beautifully maintained, and we also enjoy the delicious meals. The fun activities and the relaxing time are both fantastic. Above all, all of the staff are truly wonderful, and it became a joyful summer family memory. Thank you again for this year.

Thank you for letting me stay for nearly 2,000 yen less by making a Reservation through Yahoo! online instead of by phone. I was a little confused about how to use the faucet in the unit bath, but I was able to rest well and was satisfied. There are no restaurants or convenience stores within easy walking distance, so you need to walk a bit. The mineral water and tea helped me relax. Thank you very much.

We stayed at Hotel New Ote as a base for sightseeing in Hakodate and enjoying the night view from Mt. Hakodate. It was conveniently located near the morning market, tram stops, and bus stops. The building is old, but the room was clean. We stayed for only one night, but we were satisfied to be able to use the private family bath as well.

You can spend a quiet time in the Room while gazing out at the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. The building and Facility are old, but not to the point of being inconvenient. Dinner was generous and very satisfying. The dining hall has great views, and you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed setting. The staff are also courteous and attentive. Although it is located a little away from Takamatsu, it was an excellent value Ryokan.

We stayed on a Plan that included two meals and tickets to the Otsuka Museum of Art. Dinner featured a variety of sea bream dishes, and the sashimi was fresh with a pleasantly firm texture unlike anything we had tried before. For breakfast, we enjoyed every dish topped with a generous mound of whitebait. From both the large public bath and the in-room bath, you can see the Onaruto Bridge. You can also clearly watch the tidal currents right in front of you. The staff were kind and helpful, including explaining the dishes, which made our stay very comfortable. The views and location were excellent, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

This was our first trip to Atami, and we stayed here as a couple. The staff were very helpful, and we were satisfied. Our Room was Japanese-style, and it was nice that it could be divided into separate spaces with sliding doors. We were a bit concerned that the toilet area had a step up. We were also happy with the view and had a very pleasant stay. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes and was delicious, and the breakfast buffet also had an excellent selection. The staff were exceptionally friendly. They were kind and attentive, and every staff member greeted us as we passed by. The food was delicious, and the service was a pleasure. All rooms had an open, ocean-view setting. This can’t really be helped, but the long layout made getting around a bit tiring.

Close to Chikura Beach, we went surfing in the morning, then after checking in at 3:00 PM, we enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi. In the evening, we took our time with a BBQ—it was a truly fulfilling stay.

The location was great, and the Onsen was relaxing and felt very clean. The meals were also delicious. One thing I noticed was that the heat for the shabu-shabu pot was weak and the burn time was short, so when we added the meat it took a long time for the temperature to rise. Also, even though there was still meat left, the fuel ran out and we had to bring back a full new set of equipment.

It was a very dog-friendly Hotel. They had almost everything we needed except food, so we could stay with peace of mind. The open-air bath had a standing bath with a panoramic view of Lake Shinji, and since it was my first time, I was truly impressed. The Onsen while watching the sunrise was the best! The Hotel itself isn’t new, but it was well maintained and perfectly clean, so there was no discomfort at all. If I get the chance again, I’d love to stay here with my dog! Thank you very much.

It was my first visit in a while, but just like before, I was able to relax and enjoy a quiet, peaceful time while listening to the sound of the waves. This time, I brought my newlywed son and his wife. As it was her first stay, my daughter-in-law was impressed by the views and the food. We would love to visit again.

I have stayed at many Ryokans and Hotels, but this was such a wonderful Ryokan that I wanted to write a Review for the first time. The Shuttle Service staff, front desk staff, dining service staff, and kitchen staff were all courteous, kind, and attentive. The property was also impeccably clean, so I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. I would love to stay here again.

We slept on futons in a Japanese-style Room, but it was a stylish space with a modern interior—natural and very clean. The balcony had a gently swaying chair, and there was art on the walls; everything felt really chic. We could also borrow yukata robes and geta sandals. The front desk staff were very kind and gave us clear guidance, including which Onsen baths tend to be crowded. It’s close to both Jizo-yu and Gosho-no-yu, with excellent access to the Onsen town—perfect for visiting multiple public baths. The ropeway and the Onsen town are right in front of you, so you won’t have any trouble finding souvenirs or places to eat. However, there are only a limited number of free parking spaces, and you need to drive along narrow streets crowded with tourists to reach the parking area, so driving can be challenging. We stayed during the Obon holiday period, so even the ropeway parking lot was full and we couldn’t park nearby. Next time, taking the train might be better. For breakfast, we chose a one-plate morning set at the attached café. The latte art looked great for photos, and the interior—with Western movie posters—felt like contemporary art throughout. We stayed as a couple (my husband in his 40s and me in my 30s), and it seems renovated with youthful taste in a Western style that would appeal to inbound international guests—more “JAPAN RYOKAN” than a traditional Ryokan—and we loved it. It felt like an Expo pavilion. Unless you have specific requirements such as needing a mattress bed or an elevator, it’s excellent value for couples. We’d love to come again—thank you very much.
