My wife and I stayed here together. After arriving on Miyajima, we were taken to the Hotel by Iwaso’s Shuttle Service. The driver who picked us up was exceptional—polite, refined, and easy to talk with—and in that moment we knew we had made the right choice. The service at check-in and during dinner was also excellent, allowing us to spend a truly relaxing time on Itsukushima. Dinner was not only delicious; we also enjoyed chatting with the staff who served us. When I asked at check-in whether raw oysters were available, I was told they are difficult to offer this season—but we were lucky enough to have raw oysters served at dinner. The sashimi selection (sea bream, amberjack, and fatty tuna) was well balanced; Japanese dishes were paired with salsa sauce in an interesting way; and the sukiyaki portion was generous. We were very satisfied. The Room felt clean and well kept. There was a vanity sink by the window, letting in natural light, which made it bright and convenient to use. The large public bath had plenty of space between the washing area and the tub, and the spacious open-air bath was another highlight. The location is also very convenient: about a 3-minute walk to Itsukushima Shrine and 7–8 minutes to the ropeway station. They also arranged our night cruise to see the Great Torii gate and provided Shuttle Service to the pier, which was extremely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable hospitality of this long-established Ryokan as well as its elegant atmosphere throughout—including the corridors and landings. We would love to stay again.

The Room had a continuously flowing cloudy Onsen, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful Room Service and Shuttle Service. It was excellent value for a Saturday stay for one guest. The only disappointment was that amenities such as facial lotion were individually packaged and provided for just one use—I would have appreciated at least two uses. The meals were the right amount for me, but they may feel a bit light for younger guests or men. Next time, I’d like to enjoy a drink at the bar.

I stayed here because the Accommodation highlighted that you can see the Seven Stars in Kyushu from the Room. It really was a Room with a great view, and I was able to photograph the Seven Stars in Kyushu with Mt. Yufu in the background. You can also see Mt. Yufu from the Onsen in the Room. The medicinal rice porridge at breakfast was especially delicious!

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we were very satisfied. Everyone I traveled with agreed it was delicious and finished every bite. The staff were courteous, and we had a wonderful time with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. Thank you very much.

We chose this Accommodation after seeing photos and Reviews saying the food is incredibly delicious. We travel twice a week, and among the many Accommodations we’ve stayed at, the meals here were truly top-class. It really felt like we came to stay at an Accommodation run by a chef. We’re a bit shy, but they spoke with us in a way that wasn’t too close or too distant, so we had a wonderful time. This time it was just the two of us, but next time we’d like to bring our parents as well.

We stayed here during the Obon holidays for a three-generation family trip. Maybe it was a special Obon event, but there was an ambayashi and shaved-ice corner, and we ended up relaxing in the lobby for quite a while. We stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room, and it was clean and nice. The building is clean as well. I especially liked the open-air pot bath. We were also able to use the large public bath without it feeling crowded. They offer shampoo rentals, but since it’s first-come, first-served they run out quickly, so I wished there were a system that would allow more guests to use them. We also appreciated having diaper trash bins and board games available to borrow. For dinner we chose the private-room Plan, and it was a very spacious Room that could probably fit around 20 people; tables and chairs were set up on both sides. The individual boat platters for each person were gorgeous—we were very satisfied. We ordered a kids’ meal for our 3-year-old; the website showed udon in the photo, but what came out was soba. Since we hadn’t given our child soba yet, udon (and pudding) would have been easier—perhaps it’s meant for slightly older children. At breakfast there were two kinds of miso soup (seafood and mountain vegetable), and you can choose; we tried both and they were delicious. This is an Accommodation we’d love to return to if we have another chance!

This time, I stayed with my son and his wife. The small, guest-only bath is truly wonderful and incredibly relaxing. At the shop, they made me a discount card, so I could shop at a great price. The meals are delicious, and above all, I love the staff’s hospitality and smiles. I stay here whenever I return to my hometown, and every time the attentive service is consistently excellent—it feels like a miracle to be able to stay at this price. Thank you very much for everything. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

This was a highly satisfying Hotel stay from check-in to check-out. What surprised me most was the wide variety of drinks and ice cream available in the complimentary area. Guests can enjoy unlimited drinks, from alcohol to soft drinks, and I also loved making my own ice cream—it was a lot of fun. The staff kindly guided me through the Room and breakfast information at check-in, and they responded quickly to an unexpected situation during my stay. Breakfast arrived at my Room right on time and was wonderfully warm and delicious. I truly feel this was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. Next time, I’d like to stay in a different Room and discover something new! Thank you very much!

Dinner enjoyed at a relaxed pace in our Room was delicious across the board, making for a truly restful time. In particular, the bath had a distinctive local charm, and being able to choose a yukata in your preferred style was a delightful touch. The staff’s attentive hospitality was also very pleasant, making our stay especially memorable. It was a wonderful Accommodation that we would love to visit again.

On my first trip to Toyama, I stayed here for two nights during a 4-night, 5-day visit. I chose this Hotel for its convenient access to the trolley train, the wide variety of Toyama local cuisine, the table tennis, and above all, the incredible view from the Room. The Room was even better than I imagined—wonderful and very comfortable. We were lucky with the weather, so we could clearly see the trolley train, and I was moved every day by the beautiful scenery outside the window. The Onsen was somewhat busy at times but still within an acceptable range. The water left my skin feeling smooth. A small issue came up at dinner, but the way it was handled was truly heartfelt. They even gave my son some fireworks, which added something special to our family time together. It’s impressive that their response made me feel not only that it canceled out any inconvenience, but that it almost happened for a reason. I have great respect for the manager who assisted us. Everyone at this Hotel was wonderful—even down to each greeting from staff members. Thank you to the Shuttle Service driver for taking us back and forth to Unazuki Station so many times! And thank you as well to the woman working at the bar counter in the buffet venue for teaching me how to make a recommended delicious drink! Also, thank you for writing a letter for my son—he was deeply touched. He brought it home as a keepsake and is treasuring it. Toyama Prefecture has so much depth—I found many more places I want to visit. After entrance exams are over, I’d like to come again in autumn. This time I debated between a Deluxe Japanese-Western style Room and a Western-style Room, and chose the Western-style one. The Room was amazing, but now I’m curious about the Japanese-Western style too—choosing next time will be exciting. Beyond just the view, as a woman I was also impressed by how high-quality the hair dryer in our Room was. Such great attention to service detail. Is it the same hair dryer in every Room? My hair felt so silky afterward. If there’s one request: I’d be happy if there were women’s amenities in each Room (or at least amenity sets in deluxe Rooms). Some guests may want light makeup after using the Onsen as well; having an amenity set would make an already perfect stay even better. We used this Hotel as our base while sightseeing around various places. Next time I'd like to stay three nights. Thank you very much for everything!

I heard it had been renovated, so I decided to visit! Both the dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious, with a great variety—we were very satisfied. The sushi and sashimi were especially good! The Room was clean, and seeing the ocean right nearby was incredibly relaxing. The Onsen was a bit of a walk from the Room, but it was very clean and felt wonderful. It’s a lovely Accommodation that keeps its traditional atmosphere while feeling refreshed and spotless. I’d definitely like to stay again!

In recent years, I have stayed here every time I visit Ise. I always look forward to Teppanyaki Seiseki. While enjoying pleasant conversation, we were able to savor outstanding ingredients prepared with superb skill—delicious abalone, spiny lobster, and Wagyu beef in abundance. We were extremely satisfied. This is a wonderful inn with attentive and thoughtful staff. The Aurora Bath is also excellent. I would definitely like to stay here again.

The Room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, making our stay very comfortable. The location was convenient, and there were many dining options nearby, so we were very satisfied. By the way, Ichimonji Hakodate Ramen was delicious.

I really love it here. The bath, the buffet meals, the service, and the Room are all excellent. That’s why I come back every year.

I was surprised to find someone waiting to welcome us at the entrance when we arrived by car. We were greeted by the scent of lilies, and while waiting our turn for check-in, my husband quickly started enjoying a beer. Our Room was on the 3rd floor and felt more spacious than expected. The tatami flooring made it very comfortable. The view from the window was wonderful, and we kept it open for a while just to enjoy it. The amenities were well stocked, and we didn’t feel any inconvenience. One thing I noticed was that there was quite a large step up into the in-room toilet, which made me a little worried about tripping if I got up during the night. What stood out most was the wide variety of dishes at dinner. The boat platter we reserved was extremely fresh, and the sushi prepared right in front of us was delicious as well. I love grilled seafood, and I went back for it twice. The steak was also excellent. We couldn’t possibly try everything—of course there wasn’t any room left for late-night ramen, so I’d like to have that next time (laugh). We made our Reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and they surprised us by bringing dessert and taking photos for us—it became a truly happy memory. Breakfast was also buffet-style. In the morning, I made my own seafood rice bowl and enjoyed it very much. The freshly cooked French toast was delicious too. There were so many dishes that we couldn’t finish them all—it was a one-night stay filled with food that delighted both our eyes and taste buds. Lastly, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the staff who always greeted us with smiles—we had a very pleasant stay at your Accommodation. We will visit again.

This Accommodation exceeded my expectations. The Room layout was well designed, and I stayed very comfortably. The view is also wonderful. The sauna is spacious enough for about 4–5 people, allows temperature adjustment, and you can enjoy löyly. The cold plunge is also plenty large, and ice is provided for those who want colder water—so you can fully enjoy the sauna exactly the way you like. The in-room Onsen is spacious enough for two people. The water has a slightly silky feel and leaves your skin nicely moisturized. The amenities were excellent as well. The private lounge offers a great selection of drinks and snacks, which you can bring back to your Room—so it feels essentially all-inclusive. I had a Multiple Night Stay, and the meals did not overlap between the first and second nights, allowing me to truly enjoy local specialties. Everything was delicious. I was very satisfied with both the Facility and the food, but what impressed me most was the staff’s hospitality—from dining staff to front desk to housekeeping. Their warm attentiveness really touched me. I would love to visit again.

My first time in Beppu Onsen. Everyone provided courteous service, and I was completely satisfied with all the Onsen facilities. If I had to mention one thing, as an older man I couldn’t figure out how to use the hair dryer. All the meals were delicious, but I would have been happy if there were a few more Kyushu-style dishes. If I have a chance to visit Beppu again, I’d like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I was looking for a highly rated Onsen Ryokan to stay at in Okayama, so I chose this one. It was a great choice. The meals were exactly as described—quality over quantity—and the portions were perfect for older guests. It’s also an all-inclusive property, so I enjoyed a variety of drinks and snacks; the doburoku in particular was excellent. I don’t recall drinking it much before, but it went down smoothly, and next time I think I’ll stick with doburoku after my beer. I’m glad I stayed here.

This was my first stay, and just as everyone says, the meals were outstanding. I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but this was the most delicious by far. It wasn’t just tasty—the menu was exciting too, and I truly looked forward to mealtimes. Personally, I was especially impressed by how delicious the sautéed splendid alfonsino was. The Room was also very clean and comfortable. In addition, the location offers great access to everywhere, making sightseeing easy and convenient. When I visit Izu again someday, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

The room had a wonderful view and was spacious. In the morning, we could watch the sunrise, and the lake looked absolutely beautiful. Dinner was served in a private room, so we could relax. Each dish in the three-tiered meal was delicious, and we also enjoyed the Noto beef. The shampoo bar and hair dryer bar in the bath area were great, and there was a good selection of drinks in the lounge as well. We would love to visit again.
