The Room was spacious, the food was delicious, and the hospitality of the staff was excellent, making for a very satisfying stay. The only downside was that the shower water pressure in the bathroom was low, which made it a bit challenging to wash up. I would love to stay here again if I have another opportunity.

I woke up around 3:00 a.m. and, lying down while looking at Kinko Bay and the crystal-clear starry sky, I saw shooting stars one after another—more than a dozen. It was the first time in my life I had ever seen so many. The walk to the Hotel, the atmosphere in the lobby, and the pool’s blue lighting all felt like being somewhere outside Japan. Since we stayed as a family of three, it became a wonderful memory and we were able to truly relax. Thank you very much.

We made a last-minute Reservation, and the Accommodation was very clean. There was also a welcome drink, and it felt like a relaxing space as soon as we arrived. For luggage, they lent us a cart, but we had to carry everything ourselves; however, there is an elevator, so it wasn’t an issue. Since our room was on the second floor, the view was more like a small glimpse of the ocean in the distance. The area is famous for beautiful sunsets, but I completely forgot and scheduled dinner at sunset time, so we couldn’t see it—such a shame. If the weather is nice, choosing a later dinner time might be better since the beach is close and you can take your time enjoying the sunset. The dog run isn’t very large, but our dog seemed to have fun running around. The meals were very generous portions and left us full. We could also order food for our dog and enjoy dining together, which was great. The photo spots were cute as well. We’d love to stay again if we have another chance.

Perched on a hill in Katsuura, and with our Room on a high floor, we were thrilled by the Katsuura views from the balcony. The terracotta-toned living area also had a kitchen, refrigerator, and microwave, so we could relax in the Room at night with takeout side dishes we brought in. The sink area and toilet were both spacious and very convenient to use, and the bed was at a comfortable height so we slept soundly. The Onsen was free-flowing, with just the right temperature. The water felt silky and left our skin smooth; after soaking morning and night, my hip joints even felt more flexible. With breakfast included and a pool on site, it was an excellent value even during the busy summer season—overall a very satisfying trip. Just one thing: the toilet near the pool had a strong odor, which was bothersome.

This time, I stayed two nights on the Mojiko side, then took the ferry across to the Shimonoseki side for one night. It was a very sunny and hot day, but Karato Market, the Karato Ferry Terminal, Kaikyokan (Shimonoseki Aquarium), Hai! Karatto Yokocho (a small amusement park), and RISONARE are all lined up in the same area, so it’s great that you can enjoy everything within walking distance. On top of that, the Hotel offers plenty of kid-friendly activities such as the pufferfish pool and pufferfish beach, and the little ones looked like they were having a wonderful time. I also saw families staying with three generations together—this seems like an excellent choice for family trips. As for me, it was a solo trip for one night, so I treated myself to a full pufferfish Italian course at Otto Sette in the dining room (the aperitif was served on the terrace at sunset before moving into the dining room!). I also enjoyed a relaxing resort stay in a new and comfortable Room while taking in views of the Kanmon Straits. In the morning, I started my walk before dawn along Arukaport Promenade by the sea in front of the Hotel. With cool sea breezes and gradually brightening skies over the Kanmon Straits, I walked past Karato Market to Sister City Plaza at the end of the promenade to watch sunrise. Then I returned along the same path back to the Hotel and joined “Sea Breeze Stretch” on Namunami Terrace with its beautifully kept lawn. After that came an incredible breakfast buffet with so many options it was hard to choose—I enjoyed it right up to my limit. At PUKU PUKU’s breakfast buffet, kawara soba, seafood marinated rice bowls, and French toast are must-haves—go hungry. Even though it was only one night, it felt incredibly fulfilling. I’d love to come back—and now I want to visit other RISONARE properties too. Also, even if you make a Reservation here, it’s convenient that you can log in on their official website using your Reservation Number and arrange meals and activities online in advance.

This was my first stay, and I was truly surprised by how spacious the Room was. I was able to relax at a leisurely pace. The lounge was also spacious, with a wide selection of drinks. Both dinner and breakfast offered a great variety and were delicious. I would like to stay again.

I chose this Accommodation because I wanted to relax in a bath with an ocean view, and it offers ocean-view rooms with private open-air baths. I later realized it was featured in the Michelin Guide (Tokai edition). There are many baths throughout the Accommodation—on the rooftop, on the 5th floor, two on the 3rd floor, and one on the 2nd floor—but unfortunately the 2nd-floor bath was closed on the day of my stay. The in-room open-air bath had plenty of hot water and a great view, and I enjoyed it very much. The 5th-floor bath is a reservable private bath in 25-minute slots, so it felt a bit rushed. On the 3rd floor, if it’s available you can lock it and use it privately; I used only one of them, and its semi-open-air style was best suited for washing up. I used the rooftop open-air bath after dinner—the gradient of colors in the sky was stunning, and I could even see an evening star, making for a truly beautiful experience; however... because there is nothing to block the wind on the rooftop, I felt very cold even during the short walk to the tub. You may want to choose your season if you want to fully enjoy it. The staff were cheerful and kind. I booked a Plan with breakfast and dinner; both meals were delicious and felt like just the right amount. Perhaps because everything paired well with alcohol, I got thirsty at night and drank water several times (I appreciated that cold water was provided in a pot in my room). The bedding was high quality and I slept well. Overall satisfaction was high—an Accommodation that made me want to return. One disappointing point—also mentioned by others—was that there were many marks on the tatami mats that looked like they came from dragging tables or other furniture around. Also as others have noted, there were some areas where cleaning seemed insufficient: higher spots and exterior sides of window frames looked like they hadn’t been wiped for quite some time. What bothered me most this time was that weeding around the open-air bath area hadn’t been done at all. It seems like it could be finished within an hour—or handled with weed killer—but since there don’t seem to be many young people locally and older staff appear to be running things mainly themselves, this may be easier said than done. Photos from when Game 16 of Ryuo Title Match (Season 16) was held here are displayed inside; you can see younger versions of Morishita Koji? Wait: Actually "森内、羽生" are Yoshiharu Morinouchi? It's "Morinouchi" vs "Habu". Alongside them is also a young Sugimoto Masayuki (8-dan), famous as mentor to Fujii Sota (six titles). Shogi fans—and especially Fujii fans—should definitely take a look.

A last-minute trip to Fukui. We stayed at Mayu-san’s Accommodation for one night, and they took great care of us. We originally made a Reservation simply because we wanted to visit a gravel beach and this was the only available place nearby, but it exceeded our expectations in the best way!! Since we had been playing at the beach, we headed straight to the bath right after check-in. There are four washing stations, and from the tub you can look out over the Sea of Japan. In the women’s bath, there were about six types of shampoo and conditioner to choose from—such a thoughtful touch! Dinner was what we had been looking forward to: an incredible boat platter packed with fresh sashimi. We actually said out loud, “Is this really for two people?!” The selection may vary by day, but everything was extremely fresh and delicious. Even though we visited in August, we also got to enjoy crab. When I asked later, I was told that Echizen crab in winter is even better—now I’m already excited. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, they served one whole fried flounder per person—what a surprise!! Rice refills were free as well. It was also great that we could enjoy everything in our Room. After dinner they laid out our futons for us, and our family of three—completely full—immediately sprawled out flat (laugh). There was only one small thing I noticed: At lights-out, it would have been nice to have a nightlight or bedside lamp! If there actually was one and I missed it, sorry about that! We also had breakfast in our Room the next morning. The grilled mackerel was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had!! Ah… I want to eat it again. The proprietress and staff were all truly cheerful and kind—we really felt their warmth. They took care of everything so efficiently that we had no inconveniences during our stay. Everything was kept very clean throughout as well, making it a comfortable stay. Since it took us over four hours each way from Nara, one night felt too short—I wanted more time to enjoy Fukui’s seafood. We’ll definitely be back!! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

I spent the New Year holidays at a nearby Onsen. It is indeed old. The building is like a maze due to extensions, but the cards placed in the hallway were like Hansel and Gretel, and the elderly couple laughed, saying, "We just need to follow these." The highlight is the Onsen! As soon as you enter, you'll be moved by the wonderful Onsen, exclaiming, "This hot water!" There is no open-air bath or sauna, but it's truly a waste not to experience such a great Onsen. I regret not having visited before. It's only a 30-minute drive from my home, so I plan to use it for day trips from now on.

I stayed here on my motorcycle, and it rained that day, so I wasn’t sure where to park it. They kindly let me store it in the warehouse, which was a huge help. Thank you. It would have been perfect if the Facility had a coin laundry! If I’m in the area again, I’d love to stay here again.

This was our first trip to Atami, and we stayed here as a couple. The staff were very helpful, and we were satisfied. Our Room was Japanese-style, and it was nice that it could be divided into separate spaces with sliding doors. We were a bit concerned that the toilet area had a step up. We were also happy with the view and had a very pleasant stay. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes and was delicious, and the breakfast buffet also had an excellent selection. Thank you very much.

Our family of six stayed for two nights (Multiple Night Stay). The building itself feels a bit old-fashioned, but it was kept very clean. Above all, the meals were incredibly delicious and truly impressed us. We’re sorry we couldn’t finish everything on the first day. On the second day, the menu was different, and we managed to finish it all. It was genuinely wonderful. Whenever we visit Nanyo or Kochi again, we would definitely like to stay here. I don’t usually stay at small Ryokan, but given the area, I felt comfortable doing so. The property and rooms were well maintained and very pleasant. Above all, the service was excellent. We ran late for dinner, and after checkout they even delivered a forgotten item to the station… I’m truly sorry for the trouble… yet everyone was smiling—thank you very much. The meals were also carefully prepared and delicious. If I have the chance, I’d like to stay again. Since I only used the public bath outside, I’m rating the Onsen bath a 3. Sorry.

We stayed here for the Toba fireworks cruise. It was very convenient, with the Irago ferry terminal nearby. The Onsen had an ocean view and was very relaxing. My husband uses a wheelchair, but he was able to use the large public bath as well, and he said he would like to stay here again.

This is my regular accommodation in Niseko. The room is spacious, quiet, and offers a good environment. The onsen is relatively large and pleasant, but the thermometer has not been displayed for some time. I used to decide between the outdoor bath and indoor bath based on the temperature difference shown by the thermometer, but now I just test with my hand to decide. There are warning signs about slippery floors, but having some anti-slip mats would provide more reassurance. Overall, I had a comfortable stay.

The room was very clean and spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. The meals were delicious, and the large public bath and open-air bath offered both hotter and slightly warm options, making it easy to enjoy for extended periods. Despite being early September, cicadas were chirping, creating a nostalgic atmosphere to savor the end of summer while relaxing in the open-air bath. Thank you to all the staff for making it a memorable experience!

This was our first stay at an APA Hotel during a trip to Hokkaido with six family members. The Room and other areas were very well cleaned, and the Hotel staff were also excellent. It was our first trip to Hokkaido and our first family trip in a long time, and we had a wonderful time. If we have the opportunity, we would like to stay at an APA Hotel again. This time we stayed without meals, but next time we would love to enjoy the dining as well. Thank you very much.

A free shuttle bus to the airport is available, which is very convenient. Breakfast was excellent!

The property grounds are spacious, and getting around was a bit difficult, so I used the bath in my Room. The shabu-shabu meal was delicious. I wish I could have stayed and relaxed longer, but since I had a long trip back home, I couldn’t fully enjoy everything—still, it was a good stay.

I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and the staff were very helpful, so I had a pleasant stay! If I have a chance to come nearby again, I would like to stay here again.
