After visiting Ise Jingu from Tokyo, we stayed here. The Hotel is close to Kumano Sanzan and located by the Pacific Ocean. The staff were all wonderful, and the dinner featuring fresh tuna bowl, whale sashimi, and Tatsuta-age was exquisite. At the nearby Whale Museum, we had a rare experience feeding and touching whales. This clean and lovely Hotel offers a luxurious breakfast accompanied by live piano music. We stayed for two nights, enjoying the slow pace of time in Taiji Town—a place filled with whale and dolphin monuments—and hoped that this traditional fishing culture continues for generations to come. We truly want to visit again! Thank you to all the Hotel staff for your hospitality! Highly recommended Hotel for everyone!

Last year I stayed in the main building, but this year I tried the auberge. On the first day, after watching the sunrise at Inubosaki, I headed south along Sotobo through Katsuura and Kamogawa, visited Nojimazaki Lighthouse, stopped by Awa Shrine, and then returned to this Hotel. First, I relaxed in the scenic-view Onsen to ease my fatigue. Soaking in the bath with the vast Pacific Ocean right in front of me was a truly wonderful experience. Back in my Room, I enjoyed listening to music and reading, savoring a pace of time different from everyday life. One piece of good luck on this trip was having the teppanyaki dinner entirely to myself as a private booking. I enjoyed a delicious meal while chatting pleasantly with the chef and staff. The dishes were carefully selected with a focus on local ingredients, and they were also beautiful to look at. Another bit of good luck was being able to see the sunrise the next morning. The forecast had been cloudy with occasional rain, so I had given up on it—but when I woke up, it was clear. I hurried to the scenic-view Onsen to wait for sunrise and saw it right at the time indicated by the Hotel’s guidance. It made for an incredibly refreshing morning. I could also enjoy breakfast buffet-style in a private room at a relaxed pace—maybe I ate a little too much. On my way home, I headed north along Uchibo and ended up making a full loop around the Boso Peninsula. I would definitely like to visit again when I have another chance.

I stayed here the night before because I wanted to see the Kaiwo Maru under full sail. At check-in, I unexpectedly ran into a child on the stairs! And again when heading out for dinner, right in front of the bath area! My wife and I laughed and wondered if it was a “zashiki-warashi,” and it gave us a warm, cozy feeling. The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied. As for the Kaiwo Maru under full sail mentioned in the title, perhaps because the weather was bad in the morning, it wasn’t fully set—only about half of the sails were raised. It was disappointing, but we decided we’ll check another full-sail day and come again. When we do, we’d love to stay here again.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay during the Obon holiday period. It was a distance from the station by car, but I chose it because parking was free. The parking lot in front of the Hotel filled up quickly if I arrived a bit late, but the Hotel had secured additional parking behind the building, and there is an entrance at the back as well, so it was not a problem at all. Perhaps because I made my Reservation one month in advance, the rate was also a good deal. Also, with Omicho Market nearby and popular spots like Hachiban Ramen and Noboru Ramen located roughly between Kanazawa Station and the Hotel, it was very convenient. The bed was nice and fluffy. The coin laundry could get crowded depending on the day, but I was still able to use it without trouble. I did not add breakfast when making my Reservation, but by requesting it by the day before, I could get it at a slightly discounted price. I added breakfast only on the last day. The selection—including drinks—was extensive, and above all, the white rice was delicious. The Hotel staff were kind and carefully explained how to use buses or taxis to get to the station. There were welcome drinks in my Room, and for a Multiple Night Stay they also replenished items such as coffee. It was my first time staying at an APA Hotel, and it lived up to its reputation—I felt it is a trustworthy Hotel. One thing that concerned me was a moldy smell in the bathroom. I couldn’t tell whether it came from the shower curtain or near the ventilation fan area, but every time I opened the unit bath door I noticed it, which was stressful. There was also a place to hang clothes between my Room entrance door and the unit bath area, but I didn’t feel comfortable using it because I worried odors might transfer. Still, overall I am very satisfied with my stay. Thank you very much.

I arrived a little early, and I truly appreciate how kindly all the staff treated me. Every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit the Amakusa area.

This was my first time staying here. The staff were very kind. They carefully guided me to the parking area and assisted me politely when I parked and checked in. The Room size was just right, but the shower curtain was a bit narrow, so I had to find the best position while showering. The Room walls seemed thin, and I could hear the neighbor sneezing. It surprised me a little at night and early in the morning. It was close to where I wanted to go, so I’m satisfied.

My cycling trip at an advanced age—traveling with my son. The gently seasoned meals were kind to my tired body, suited me very well, and I thought they were excellent. The seawater bath was also wonderful. A moment before bedtime. The head chef’s beautifully toned flute performance. Bravo. If I ever ride again... will that happen? If so, I would love to stay here again.

The open-air bath had a window, and I bathed with the screen in place. The Room had a great view, so I could relax and enjoy the scenery while soaking. The Room was compact, and the washbasin was right next to the bed; at first I found it a bit surprising, but it was actually convenient for drying my hair and getting ready. The Room felt slightly humid. I was disappointed that the toilet paper holder and the bath shelf were coming loose. Also, other LiVEMAX properties offered coffee service, but this one did not, and the coffee served with meals tasted weak. The meals were excellent—the simmered splendid alfonsino (kinmedai) was especially delicious, and the Japanese set breakfast was also very good. All of the staff were very pleasant, so I had a comfortable stay. I would definitely like to visit again.

Considering the price, I was satisfied. The meals were also delicious. I also appreciated having a large public bath.

I spent the New Year holidays at a nearby Onsen. It is indeed old. The building is like a maze due to extensions, but the cards placed in the hallway were like Hansel and Gretel, and the elderly couple laughed, saying, "We just need to follow these." The highlight is the Onsen! As soon as you enter, you'll be moved by the wonderful Onsen, exclaiming, "This hot water!" There is no open-air bath or sauna, but it's truly a waste not to experience such a great Onsen. I regret not having visited before. It's only a 30-minute drive from my home, so I plan to use it for day trips from now on.

A last-minute trip to Fukui. We stayed at Mayu-san’s Accommodation for one night, and they took great care of us. We originally made a Reservation simply because we wanted to visit a gravel beach and this was the only available place nearby, but it exceeded our expectations in the best way!! Since we had been playing at the beach, we headed straight to the bath right after check-in. There are four washing stations, and from the tub you can look out over the Sea of Japan. In the women’s bath, there were about six types of shampoo and conditioner to choose from—such a thoughtful touch! Dinner was what we had been looking forward to: an incredible boat platter packed with fresh sashimi. We actually said out loud, “Is this really for two people?!” The selection may vary by day, but everything was extremely fresh and delicious. Even though we visited in August, we also got to enjoy crab. When I asked later, I was told that Echizen crab in winter is even better—now I’m already excited. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, they served one whole fried flounder per person—what a surprise!! Rice refills were free as well. It was also great that we could enjoy everything in our Room. After dinner they laid out our futons for us, and our family of three—completely full—immediately sprawled out flat (laugh). There was only one small thing I noticed: At lights-out, it would have been nice to have a nightlight or bedside lamp! If there actually was one and I missed it, sorry about that! We also had breakfast in our Room the next morning. The grilled mackerel was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had!! Ah… I want to eat it again. The proprietress and staff were all truly cheerful and kind—we really felt their warmth. They took care of everything so efficiently that we had no inconveniences during our stay. Everything was kept very clean throughout as well, making it a comfortable stay. Since it took us over four hours each way from Nara, one night felt too short—I wanted more time to enjoy Fukui’s seafood. We’ll definitely be back!! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We stayed here as our Accommodation for the Chirihama Sunset Touring trip. We had informed them that we would return after sunset for dinner, and when we went to the dining area, everything was already prepared; we enjoyed a delicious meal along with the beer we ordered. The Room was compact and clean, and the Simmons bed soothed our tired bodies after the motorcycle tour. Excellent value for money.

The building itself felt a bit old, but it was well maintained, and the Room was clean. In addition to the bedroom, there was another Room, and the in-room bath included an Onsen bath and a separate shower room, which made it very satisfying. The meals were buffet-style, but the quality was quite high. If you went at the wrong time, there were people waiting in line. The Onsen was also excellent. It’s a Hotel I’d like to visit again.

This was my third stay. It’s always fully booked, so I make my Reservation early. As always, the scallops, turban shells, clams, and hard clams were delicious and plentiful. I ate right up until the end of the time limit, but if I had to ask for one thing, it would be even better with oysters as well. This time I also enjoyed fishing in the sea right in front of the property. I caught a rockfish using a jighead minnow lure. I’d love to come back again next time.

I have stayed here several times. As a Dormy Inn fan, I checked out hoping to return again for the consistently warm hospitality. I will stay here again.

I had a very comfortable stay as I was provided with the best room despite booking at a very affordable price. The dinner at the restaurant was so delicious and generously portioned that I wondered if it was really okay to offer it at such a price—completely satisfying. Although I may not have the chance to revisit this remote island, it was a Hotel where I would love to enjoy a Multiple Night Stay and relax.

I stayed here for a live concert trip. This was my second stay, and both the Room and the bathroom were clean and quiet. I would like to stay here again.

The all-you-can-eat tuna at breakfast was the best. The Genghis Khan was also delicious, and the pickled herring-like dish was great too. Best of all, I could drink as much Katsugen as I wanted! It was excellent—thank you very much. I’d appreciate it if takeout coffee were available!

I stayed here on my motorcycle, and it rained that day, so I wasn’t sure where to park it. They kindly let me store it in the warehouse, which was a huge help. Thank you. It would have been perfect if the Facility had a coin laundry! If I’m in the area again, I’d love to stay here again.

The Room we stayed in as a couple had two beds, so after a tiring day at the beach we were able to sleep comfortably and stretch out. It was great value for money, and the Room was very clean. The staff were kind, and the breakfast buffet (Plan with no dinner) was delicious—we were very satisfied. If you’re not visiting for the Onsen, this Hotel is highly recommended.
