Both the Room and the open-air bath were wonderful, and the ocean view from the Room was beautiful. We were able to enjoy delicious crab even in summer. When we mentioned that we were celebrating a special occasion, you kindly showed thoughtful consideration, which made our family very happy. From showing us around the Room to serving us at dinner, your service was truly pleasant, and everyone’s smiles were lovely. This was my first time visiting Katsuura, Chiba Prefecture, and I stayed for one night. I was completely satisfied with everything—the Room, the meals, and the staff’s service. At night, I even saw a shooting star from the balcony. It is a quiet Accommodation where I could relax and unwind. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

This Accommodation, Sagamiya, was a wonderful place where we could truly feel traditional Japanese hospitality. As soon as we arrived by car, the staff noticed us right away and came out to assist, kindly helping us park with ease. They guided us to our Room, and the attendant came to greet us and made tea for us. These days we often stay at more Western-style Hotels, so it was a pleasure to enjoy this Japanese-style hospitality again after a long time. We enjoyed a delicious in-room meal in the tatami Room with a lovely view. The open-air bath in the Room was also excellent, and even one night was enough to leave us feeling fully refreshed. All of the staff were very pleasant. We also appreciated the many thoughtful touches throughout our stay—it felt reassuring that experienced staff could make good judgments on the spot. We would love to visit again.

This is my favorite Accommodation: the well-maintained interior always helps me feel refreshed both body and mind in the Room’s open-air bath, and I can enjoy a French course dinner in casual attire. I will definitely stay again.

The “Small-portion Gourmet Kaiseki” was just the right amount for seniors, and over our two-night stay the dinner was excellent in terms of ingredients, preparation, and seasoning. The breakfast also offered a variety of small dishes, and we were very satisfied from the morning with both dried fish and sashimi. The Onsen, Facility, and Room were clean and well maintained, and the staff were extremely attentive throughout our two-night stay. True to its name, it provided a five-star experience and made our trip to Izu a wonderful one.

After finally arriving through heavy rain on this trip, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The meals were served in a calm lounge, and we could really feel the care put into each dish. The Onsen was wonderful, but unfortunately, due to torrential rain severe enough to trigger warnings, the water temperature dropped on the morning of the second day. We were especially disappointed that we couldn’t use the bath in our Room. With expressways closed, sightseeing wasn’t possible at all, so we’d like to come back next time for a retry. The Accommodation is a pleasant, clean Hotel, and all of the staff were very kind.

Every year, we make sure to visit in summer as well. Right in front of you is a sandy beach with an amazing view—it feels like a private beach, and the sunsets are beautiful. Dinner is outstanding, with delicious Japanese and Western dishes such as appetizers, sashimi, wagyu beef, nigiri sushi, and dessert. There is also a carefully selected lineup of drinks every time, including wine and sake—everything is truly exceptional. Breakfast is also wonderful: herb salad, locally made sausages from a nearby farm, truffle omelet, bread, and more—every item is genuinely delicious. We are sincerely grateful. The owner, proprietress, chef—everyone is calm and welcoming, making it very comfortable to stay. It’s such a lovely Accommodation that we’d visit every month if we could. Thank you very much for all your thoughtful hospitality.

My first time at Myoban Onsen. I’m excited to be able to stay at Okamotoya, which is highly rated in guidebooks. I was very satisfied with the milky-blue water. The Room was just the right size for one person and had a great view, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The dessert pudding and the orange juice at breakfast were especially appreciated since I don’t drink alcohol. Since this is a Multiple Night Stay, it really helped that they provided extra yukata and towels. Just one thing: at dinner on the first day, the rice and soup were a bit lukewarm (it was fine on the second day). Also, perhaps due to the season, the seating was quite close to other guests during meals, which made it a little hard to eat comfortably. Still, I’m so satisfied that I’d definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

We stayed for three nights on a family trip during summer vacation. I’ve visited Okinawa about 10 times and stayed at various Hotels, but this was the best one so far! My family also said it was the best! It’s new and very clean, and the modern Room is spacious and comfortable—above all, it’s great value for money. Personally, I loved the style of taking off your shoes at the entrance, and I was glad I could open my large suitcase without feeling cramped. Even though it was summer vacation, we had the bath almost to ourselves for all three days, so we could relax and enjoy it. The changing area and washing area were spotless and well maintained. It was also helpful that we didn’t need to bring towels from our Room. Unlike a luxury high-rise Resort Hotel, the parking lot (and it’s free!) is close by, and it’s a short walk from the parking lot to the lobby to the guest Rooms—this was a huge help when traveling with kids and lots of beach gear. The compact size of the property felt just right in a good way. It’s far from the airport, but I personally like quiet Nakijin Village. There are many stylish cafes and restaurants nearby (they seemed popular with locals), there’s direct access to a convenience store without going outside, and there’s also a supermarket right in front—being able to pop out for quick shopping was fantastic. The staff were polite and attentive as well. Next time, I’d like to stay in a different Room!

I visited to relax with my daughter, who has just started her first job. On the day, we were picked up by the Shuttle Service to the athletic park. We didn’t have to wait long, and the careful driving made it very comfortable. The Room was lovely, and the night view was amazing. The meals were delicious, and the tableware was beautiful as well. We were very satisfied. Next time, we’ll visit in a different season.

The elegant building and stylish interior lifted my spirits the moment we arrived. Every staff member was consistently kind, and their thoughtfulness really came through, making our stay extremely comfortable. We traveled with a child, and they were so gentle and welcoming to our little one as well—it truly warmed my heart. The beer in the lobby was delicious, and I couldn’t help but have more than I planned. Dinner was wonderful across the board—especially the tuna and the Wagyu steak!! I had high expectations, but it exceeded them. With such lovely staff, an all-inclusive plan, a spotless lobby and Room, and beautiful views, it was simply perfect. I don’t think there are many Accommodations as special as this. If you’re traveling to Izu, I highly recommend this Accommodation—you’re sure to have an amazing trip! I’m still thinking how I should have eaten and drank even more to fully enjoy everything… haha! After checkout, I realized I had left something behind. When I contacted them, they kindly shipped it to my home right away. It arrived the next day, and their quick yet careful support truly warmed my heart. Thank you so much. The delicious meals and everyone’s warm hospitality were truly soothing. In particular, thank you to the person in charge of our dinner for your thoughtful care in so many ways. This is a wonderful Accommodation, with a spacious public bath and an open-air bath where the greenery of the trees and mountains feels almost within reach. The garden open-air bath was at just the right temperature, and perhaps thanks to thorough insect control even in summer, we weren’t bothered by insects at all. Although it was fully booked, maybe our timing was good—the public bath was almost private, and we enjoyed it to the fullest. After returning home, my husband and I are quietly aiming to try every Room with a garden open-air bath. We would love to visit again, and we appreciate your continued kindness when we do. We stayed here to celebrate a proposal—one of life’s most important milestones. What impressed us most during our stay was the thoughtful attention from everyone, especially the person in charge. For the surprise proposal, they handled everything flexibly to match the situation, including preparing and handing over the cake and bouquet, which allowed me to feel at ease on the day. Thanks to that support, it became an unforgettable, truly wonderful time. Every dish was genuinely delicious, and the explanations were perfectly paced—not too long or too short—so we could enjoy not only the flavors but also the dining experience itself. The atmosphere inside the Accommodation and the views were also outstanding, and we were able to relax from the heart. Above all, we were so happy that their desire to make our stay memorable came through in every interaction. Thanks to them, both my partner and I naturally found ourselves saying, “Let’s definitely come back for anniversaries,” and it became two irreplaceable days for us. I am truly grateful that we could welcome such an important moment of our lives at this Accommodation. This is a wonderful Accommodation I can confidently recommend to anyone who wants to spend special time with someone important—whether for a proposal or a wedding anniversary. Next time we visit, I hope we can return as husband and wife.

I stayed here again because I visited last year and loved the Onsen and the food. This time, I stayed in a single Room and was able to relax. As always, the Onsen was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the staff were courteous—I’d like to return again. Time seemed to pass slowly, and I was able to unwind. Thank you very much.

I stayed here with my child. The building blends beautifully into a quiet, peaceful town, and its wonderful atmosphere instantly soothed both body and mind after a long day of walking. Both dinner and breakfast were cooked right in front of us, making for an enjoyable, delicious, and truly memorable time. I’m really glad we chose to stay here. Thank you very much.

This trip was mainly to visit Ise Grand Shrine, Toba, and Futamiura. I was especially looking forward to visiting Futami Okitama Shrine and seeing the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), so I searched for the Accommodation closest to the shrine and chose “Oishiya.” From the very beginning, I was impressed by the exceptionally courteous and pleasant service. From arriving by taxi through check-in, being shown to my Room, dining, and even the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, everything was handled in such a welcoming way that it made for a truly wonderful trip. To the proprietress, manager, attendants, Shuttle Service driver, and everyone at Oishiya, thank you very much. Dinner was a charcoal-grilled seafood kaiseki course. Starting with appetizers and sashimi, the main dishes featured an abundant selection including abalone, squid, turban shell, other shellfish, and vegetables. Being able to enjoy abalone both grilled and as sashimi made it an especially luxurious meal. The meal was so plentiful that I’m sorry I ended up leaving one dish unfinished. I also appreciate the attendant’s thoughtful consideration regarding dessert. The view of Futami’s sea from the panoramic bath was exceptional—I enjoyed it many times: before dinner, after dinner, and early in the morning. The location of this Accommodation is also perfect for accessing Futami Okitama Shrine. After check-in, after dinner, at sunrise time, and after check-out, I was able to visit a total of four times—it meant so much to me. Every view was wonderful, but the scenery at sunrise was truly unforgettable. Staying at “Oishiya” made this an outstanding trip. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

I had wanted, at least once, to step into “Salon Yamasato,” the private lobby lounge of Koshinosato—I've felt that way for the past 10 years. As we reached our 60th birthdays as a couple, we decided to make a Reservation and treat ourselves at this milestone. We truly loved the cuisine, amenities, and atmosphere. I was deeply impressed by the high-quality meals—it was an Accommodation with impeccable hospitality in every way. Also, the macarons and gelato at Kaho’s salon were absolutely top-class delicious—I couldn’t stop eating them. The flavor stayed with me, and I kept wondering what brand they were. It made me strongly want to come back again. Thank you very much. The concierge staff were also incredibly kind—simply wonderful.

On August 7, when a strong typhoon was a concern, we headed to Kyotango—a trip we had been looking forward to for a long time. Due to my misunderstanding, I entered the entrance at 2:00 PM and found no one at the front desk—which was only natural, since check-in starts at 3:00 PM. Even so, they responded right away and guided us to our Room in about 10 minutes. That was the beginning of the trouble I caused. I couldn’t wait for the dinner and breakfast that receive such high praise in every Review. Since we arrived early, I was also the first to use the large public bath. The open-air bath had an amazing ocean view and felt incredible. The right edge of the tub had a slope, so I assumed it was thoughtful design for children or elderly guests—but there was an identical slope on the left as well. Looking closely, I noticed the rim of the tub was curved: it was actually designed as a reclining bath. The slope allowed you to lie back while enjoying the ocean view. I soaked in the open-air bath, deeply impressed all on my own. After enjoying a canned beer and complimentary sake (excellent) in the post-bath lounge area, we returned to our Room—and then an accident happened: news of a death in our close family arrived. After discussing it with my wife, we decided to give up on the breakfast we had been looking forward to so much. Since it took about 3 hours and 45 minutes on our way there, I asked at reception if we could leave early in the morning—and they kindly accommodated this as well. Dinner began while my mind still felt unsettled, but everything from the first appetizer onward was delicious, and my wife and I found ourselves exchanging smiles again and again. Partway through, we were guided outside to watch sunset from the terrace—body, heart, and taste buds all completely satisfied. Despite our very early departure time, they even came out to see us off when we left. I was truly moved. We caused you so much inconvenience—thank you for giving us such an outstanding Accommodation experience.

I was impressed by every aspect of this stay. First, the food was truly outstanding. Not only were the ingredients excellent, but the menu featured an abundance of seasonal items that are hard to come by in everyday life—such as longtooth grouper (kue), Shizuoka-brand eel “Deshiko,” pike conger (hamo), kuruma prawns, and Kamo eggplant—and I was moved by each dish. There wasn’t a single miss: the dashi flavor came through beautifully, and the balance of ingredients and seasoning in every course was exquisite. The overall satisfaction was so high that it honestly felt surprising to be able to stay at this price while being served cuisine of such a high level. The Onsen was also wonderful. The bath area is new and kept very clean, so it was comfortable to use. In particular, Umenoya’s unique natural spring water at around 30°C was perfect for this hot season. Alternating it with the indoor bath at around 40°C left me feeling refreshed after bathing and made for a truly relaxing time. I highly recommend trying it this way. Above all, what left the strongest impression was the hospitality of the staff. When I accidentally dropped my chopsticks during dinner, one staff member immediately noticed and picked them up, and another staff member who saw this brought me a fresh pair. Their seamless teamwork showed how well they communicate on a daily basis, which really moved me. The proprietress has such a warm presence—always smiling and speaking to guests in a friendly way. Despite her young age, her attentiveness to guests and her awareness of everything throughout the Ryokan are exceptional; I don’t often encounter someone capable of providing hospitality at this level. It was an Accommodation that left me completely satisfied with its cuisine, Onsen, and service. I would love to return in another season to enjoy more delicious food and the Onsen again.
