Stayed one night with a family of four and our toy poodle. The Room was very cute, and my daughter was thrilled! At night, the light-up decorations and campfire-like setup made for great photo opportunities. My husband enjoyed the all-you-can-drink service and ended up falling asleep in the kotatsu. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was a bit disappointing that there was no bathtub in the pet-friendly Room, but we enjoyed the open-air bath at a nearby public bathhouse instead. We were supposed to receive a mermaid pen as a gift for answering the survey, but I forgot to mention it during checkout, leaving my daughter disappointed ( ; ; ).

We stayed at the Livemax Sakishima Cosmo Tower Hotel. As a family of four with small children, having both beds and a tatami area was very convenient and made our stay very comfortable. Our children said they want to stay again, and we would like to use it again when we come to Osaka.

The sashimi boat platter was absolutely delicious, and everything we ate was impressive. The host mother and everyone else were very kind. It seems they also offer a boat fishing Plan, which I’d like to book next time. We received Fukui Prefecture travel coupons and used them the next day as meal vouchers worth 5,000 yen per person to go eat eel.

We stayed for three nights during Golden Week. The building is quite old, so the kids were surprised when we arrived, but the Room was clean and the staff were very courteous, so we felt comfortable throughout our stay. There are many places within walking distance from the Accommodation that you can visit with children, and it’s also very convenient—only about a 15-minute drive to the Ise area! We’d love to stay again if we have the chance. I gave 4 stars for the guest room because the door opens inward and there isn’t much space, so with shoes for five people left by the entrance, it was hard to open and close the door. It made going in and out of the Room a bit of a hassle… some guests might find this frustrating.

The Facility feels a bit like a training lodge and its age does show, but all the staff were kind, the bedding in the Room was fluffy, and the evening bath was clean, so we had a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the meals—we upgraded to the shellfish grill Plan. Everything was gorgeous and fresh, and the food was delicious; we were truly impressed. Thank you as well for kindly accommodating our request for late-night rice balls. Breakfast was also tasty and very filling. If we have the chance, we would love to stay again.

The room, large public bath, meals, and service were all satisfying. I stayed in a room with a private bath, which was clean and had a great view, making me feel like I didn’t even need to visit the large public bath. Of course, the large public bath was also excellent. I chose the dinner set plan, and everything was delicious. Personally, as someone who doesn’t drink much alcohol, I really appreciated having a pitcher of cold water placed at my table. The service was minimal yet attentive; staff checked in at just the right moments during meals, which made for a pleasant experience. Additionally, they informed me of the approximate sunrise time so I could enjoy a beautiful sunrise from my room.

To everyone at Yunose Onsen, Yunose Ryokan, thank you very much for taking such great care of us. It was truly a place rich in nature. There were no artificial sounds at all—only the sounds of nature—and it was deeply relaxing. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the crowds and forget about time for a while. [Note: Room Condition] I stayed for a 4-night Multiple Night Stay in a 15-tatami Japanese-style Room with No Meals Included. It felt like using a futon set up in a small banquet hall of a day-use Onsen Facility. I was initially concerned that there was no toilet in the Room, but it was clean and I didn’t run into anyone during my stay, so it wasn’t an issue. Fresh towels, amenities, and very tasty tea snacks were delivered every day. For dinner, I could freely choose depending on my mood—warming up convenience-store food in the microwave or having meals delivered from the dining hall. If I asked, they brought cups and ice as well, and all the staff were pleasant, which made it very relaxing. I love traveling and have stayed at many Accommodations, but this became one of my favorites.

The other day, I had my annual “crab day” at Genmyoan again. This time they prepared Taiza crab for me, and I was able to enjoy it. It was three hours of satisfaction—satisfied, satisfied, truly satisfied. They do not serve hot pot dishes like “crab suki” here, and I agree that turning such great crab into a hot pot would be a waste. That is exactly why I keep choosing Genmyoan. They said it snowed quite a bit this year, but on my visit there was only a little snow left along the roadside. Genmyoan sits halfway up the mountain, and I believe it may be the only place with this kind of view looking down over Amanohashidate. The location is outstanding. As shown in the photos, being able to enjoy scenery that changes with time from your Room is very appealing. On the other hand, when it snows heavily, driving up the mountain road can be difficult. When I asked the proprietress this time, she told me that during severe snow they will come to pick guests up at Amanohashidate Station with rubber boots in the car. Being able to change into them at the station would be reassuring. (They provide Shuttle Service to the Accommodation regardless of snow.) Also, once you are past 70—even if it’s a once-a-year indulgent crab day—you may worry about not being able to finish everything. It seems they can adjust portions if you request in advance. If they can reduce the amount without compromising quality, you can keep enjoying it at any age. Because this relates to IKYU’s website meal listings and pricing, I do wonder how flexible such arrangements can be—but I would appreciate continued consideration for guests’ convenience. Lastly, their breakfast is also delicious: even when you feel you ate too much crab dinner-wise, you still end up overeating at breakfast. The Onsen has been refurbished and is clean. There is a tasting corner for chilled sake (you can sample and choose before dinner), and there is now a coffee room as well. There is also a room lined with CDs/DVDs/books from the owner’s personal collection; you can bring them back to your Room and enjoy them there. It feels like an Accommodation where each guest can find their own way to relax and have fun.

The building felt old, but the interior was clean and well maintained. We were happy with the spacious ocean-view Room. Also, what we didn’t expect were the services our kids loved: snacks, a movie at night with popcorn, the rooftop along with coffee and tea, and a table tennis table. On the downside, the bath was too hot, the futon in the Room felt too warm, and the food portions were slightly small. However, overall the service was good, and we felt it offered great value for the Golden Week price.

The meals were excellent, and I could tell they put effort into serving different dishes each day. The bath is quite hot, so you may want to add cold water as you soak, but it truly warms you to the core. Because it’s an Accommodation in a very rural area, there were few guests and I was able to relax completely. I would love to visit again.

Although it was a No Meals Included stay, we had a very comfortable time. Thank you for your courteous and kind service.

Weekday stay for a family of four in two rooms. The room was spacious and clean for two people. Dinner was luxurious, with enough sashimi to fill you up—highly recommended for seafood lovers. Other dishes like sukiyaki, soup, and chawanmushi were also very delicious. The staff provided friendly and attentive service with smiles, though having a menu would have been nice. For the bath, caution is needed as the large public bath's tub can be slippery. The outdoor bath was slightly lukewarm. Access to the rooftop open-air bath requires calling the front desk beforehand, so it’s best to make an early reservation as late-night or early-morning visits might inconvenience the staff (I regret not asking if multiple time slots could be reserved). However, if it's clear, you can enjoy stunning views of sunsets or starry skies from there—it’s refreshing! I’d love to stay again if I get another chance. Thank you!

Thank you for warmly welcoming us despite our late arrival after 8 PM (we had a breakfast-only plan). The room and onsen were very comfortable, and we felt completely refreshed. The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff provided excellent service. The water pressure in the bathroom faucet was weak, and it was difficult to adjust the temperature, so it would be great if this could be improved. While some of the facilities feel slightly dated, everything else was fine, and we had a very pleasant stay. We would love to stay again if we have another opportunity.

It feels like many years have passed, but I was really impressed by how clean and well maintained everything was! Because it was a sunny day, we were able to see the exact moment the sun set. At that time, everyone raised the roller blinds, and it made dinner with that beautiful sunset absolutely perfect. We wanted to sit by the window, so we asked to change seats, but it wasn’t possible. Since there were also day-trip guests, I guess it couldn’t be helped—but if there had been a little flexibility, it would have been truly perfect! Still, it turned into an amazing and enjoyable trip, and we’re very satisfied. I hope you continue to be a wonderful Ryokan forever—always clean and beautiful, with kindness and smiles. We visited as two generations of parent and child, and it became a great memory! We might want to go again!!!

I revisited this accommodation early because I had such a great experience last month. Although the Awazu Kaiseki did not include tempura, the delicious appetizers and eight kinds of fresh sashimi made the sake taste even better. By the time I finished the pork shabu-shabu and chawanmushi, I was already full, but the seasoned rice was so delicious that I ended up overeating. For breakfast, they served "Hyakumangoku" brand rice, which is often found in ryokan in Ishikawa Prefecture. However, their cooking method was exceptional, making it more delicious than any other ryokan I've stayed at before. While abalone, nodoguro fish, and Noto beef are available as additional orders, even without them, their delicately flavored dishes were more than satisfying. The bathwater quality was gentle on my sensitive skin and allowed me to soak for long periods without feeling overheated. The therapeutic waterfall shower relieved pain in my shoulders, neck, and back when applied to those areas—I even thought about saving money to come here for a week-long hot spring retreat someday! The room had been recently renovated; it was impeccably clean with a large LCD TV for added comfort. However, since we arrived early perhaps due to timing issues—the air conditioning wasn't turned on upon arrival during wintertime—it felt cold initially; preheating would have been appreciated during colder months like these! Lastly but importantly: homemade pudding by Okami (the hostess) tasted amazing too—overall providing excellent value exceeding expectations from this accommodation!

The staff was truly kind when I went to drop off my luggage before check-in. When the stargazing event was canceled due to bad weather, they informed me about the possible times when stars might be visible from the Hotel. The Room was clean, and the meals were delicious. Thank you very much!

This time we came to Yugawara to see fireflies. It was truly magical and moving. Although this Accommodation is old, the bathroom and water facilities in the Room have been nicely renovated, and there are four private Onsen baths, so you can relax and enjoy them at your own pace. The meals can be served in your Room and were very delicious. We chose the smaller course, but it was more than enough for us seniors. However, perhaps because the building is old, we were quite bothered by noises such as footsteps at night and woke up several times. Next time, we would like to stay in a Room with a private bath. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

I stayed during the New Year. It was my first time, and I found a very nice accommodation. The meals were all truly delicious. My elderly parents were able to finish almost everything. The room and bath were satisfying, but it would be great to have chairs in the room for elderly guests. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much!

We stayed here during a beach trip. All the staff greeted us with kind smiles throughout our stay. The building was very clean and spotless. The bath was also very relaxing. We stayed in a Room with a private bath, and both the bathroom and toilet were very clean. The meals were luxurious with many dishes, and we were completely full. Since we stayed with our child, we were able to enjoy fireworks at night. They provide a fireworks gift, and you can borrow a bucket and a lighter. Breakfast was delicious as well, and we enjoyed coffee after the meal and spent an elegant time until check-out. The free massage chairs and water in the lobby were also very helpful. Small creatures (like tree frogs and crabs) sometimes visit near the Ryokan entrance, which delighted our children. We made wonderful memories to start our summer vacation. Thank you very much.
