Whenever you visit, you can count on peace of mind, safety, and exceptional cleanliness. If it makes people feel their best, it’s sure to be just as satisfying for dogs. No matter how many times we go, we’re always completely satisfied. -

In addition to the living table and sofa, there was also a dining table with chairs. All necessary amenities were provided. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying as well. It was an outstanding accommodation from

We visited as two families, and the quietness inside the Accommodation and the deep presence of nature felt wonderfully soothing, allowing each of us to spend peaceful time at our own pace. The bagna càuda we had for dinner was a memorable dish that carefully brought out the blessings of the season—so impressive that we truly want to taste it again. Chef Yamabito’s culinary philosophy of honoring the natural strength of each ingredient came through quietly, yet unmistakably. The hospitality from all staff members was among the very best we have experienced in any Accommodation. Never excessive, yet attentively supportive exactly when needed, their service allowed us to relax with complete peace of mind throughout our stay. This has become a special Accommodation for our family—one we hope to revisit in another season to enjoy both the changing expressions of the mountains and the cuisine.

It was my first time staying here, and it was excellent. I stayed with my dog, and the log cabin was very clean, odor-free, and comfortable. They came right away to explain how to use the BBQ, and their guidance was very thorough. The BBQ meat was delicious, and there was plenty of food—very satisfying. I would love to stay again.

This was my third stay. It was my first time in the “Haruka” cottage, and it was just as comfortable as always. On the day we arrived, we took a walk along the river from the back garden door to Sakuta Beach. It took about 10 minutes to get there. Our senior dog needed to be carried part of the way, but was thrilled once we reached the beach. The Room was clean and comfortable, and the Facility and overall setup reflected wonderful hospitality. The staff were also very kind, making each visit a lovely memory. Thank you very much.

Everything was excellent, especially the service. The staff’s attentiveness was outstanding. The rooms, amenities, views, and pool were all wonderful—highly recommended Hotel.

The simmered dishes had a comforting flavor and were very tasty. The large public bath was very relaxing, and the shampoo bar was innovative, allowing me to try products I hadn't used before. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. One minor

Although it is located along a main road, once you step inside, it feels like another world. You are enveloped in greenery and tranquility that still preserve the atmosphere of its founding 160 years ago. With a spacious Japanese garden and wooded grounds, I was genuinely surprised that such a nature-rich space remains in such a convenient location from central Fukuoka City. The large public bath is spacious, with free-flowing water from the source continuously overflowing. Freshly drawn spring water carries a pleasant sulfur aroma. Through the wide windows, you can enjoy forest bathing. There is no open-air bath, but it still felt wonderfully open and relaxing. The meals were truly satisfying: refined dishes that are gentle on both body and mind, made with locally sourced seasonal ingredients from across Kyushu. The portions were just right. The tableware was also exceptional—you could feel how carefully high-quality pieces have been cherished and used over many years. We stayed in Heiantei, and the Room features an interior corridor layout that maintains privacy between each space (two Japanese-style rooms and one salon), making it comfortable even for multiple families traveling together. We were only two people, but it was more than spacious enough for us. The staff’s division of roles was thorough; each person clearly carried themselves as a professional in their position, and you could sense their pride in working at this renowned Ryokan. The service was flawless. Maintaining this level of quality must be incredibly demanding, but I sincerely hope they will continue to protect this precious historic Onsen Accommodation and pass it on to the future generations to come. It’s also extremely close—just 15 minutes by train from central Fukuoka City—so convenience is outstanding as well. Having stayed at countless Ryokan and Hotels, I can recommend this place with complete confidence.

The Room is spacious! The toilet and bath are separate! Children’s amenities are provided, along with towels for Child Sharing Existing Bedding! Breakfast is available free of charge! The staff were very courteous! We were extremely satisfied, and our child said, “I want to stay here again!” Thank you very much!

I had a very pleasant stay. All of the staff were extremely courteous, and the restaurant team in particular was attentive to each guest and kindly took care of us. Not only the room but also the hallways and other areas throughout the property were well maintained and spotlessly clean. Thanks to the warm hospitality and comfortable environment, I was able to relax and enjoy my time here. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

The Hotel was wonderful, starting with its location... We had plenty of fun in the pool, too. The open-air bath with an ocean view felt incredibly open and refreshing! We could relax anywhere and truly enjoyed a blissful time. With drinks in the fridge and every service you could ask for, we were completely satisfied. Dinner was at a stylish restaurant where we enjoyed delicious Italian cuisine. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel very comfortable. We also appreciated that they changed our table between dinner and breakfast so we could dine from the best seats—such thoughtful hospitality. It wasn’t too far from Kumamoto City either, and we’d love to come back again.

This was my second stay. The property feels relatively new, so it was clean, and the bathroom and other facilities were compact, easy to use, and very satisfying. Also, this time the Room had a toilet separate from the washroom, which was convenient. Thank you. As a request, the extra bed felt quite narrow in width, so I would prefer a standard single-bed width. I also thought it would be even more convenient if there were a mirror at the desk. (The bed width is listed on your website in advance, so this is simply a personal request.) I would appreciate it if you could consider these points in the future.

It feels incredibly safe and secure here. Thank you! To Mr./Ms. N and Mr./Ms. I at the restaurant—you both embody genuine hospitality with heartfelt service that makes the food taste even better! Thank you! A newly joined female staff member as of September also left a stro

All the staff were kind and pleasant, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable 3-day stay. The welcome sweets were very delicious, and the amenity bar was well-stocked. The room's shower and hairdryer were also from ReFa. During social time, we visited both the station area and S

The breakfast and dinner buffets were outstanding and truly exciting. I was especially amazed by the wide variety of breads at breakfast. Everything was delicious, but I regret that I couldn’t try them all. We also enjoyed drinks and sweets in the lovely lounge, and the staff’s attentive service made our stay very comfortable. This is an Accommodation I would love to visit again.

This was our second stay. The location is convenient from Old Karuizawa and Karuizawa Station, and being in a quiet villa area makes it perfect for walks. We truly appreciated the frequent Shuttle Service by car from Karuizawa Station. All Hotel staff showed thoughtful attention and considerate care for both guests and dogs, which really impressed us. Whenever we travel with our dog, we will definitely stay at Le Chien Kyukaruizawa Hotel again. We were completely satisfied with everything—the meals, the Onsen, the shop, and even the dog photo booth. Thanks to this Hotel, our 2-night, 3-day trip to Karuizawa became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

The guidance was smooth, and the drinks I ordered were served promptly. I am extremely satisfied! The baths include an observation bath and a garden bath, both spacious enough to relax in. I also enjoyed a private bath. The post-bath relaxation area is comfortable as well—simply

This Hotel is surrounded by lush greenery and has a very calm, relaxing atmosphere. Time seemed to pass more slowly, and I was able to unwind and forget about everyday life. The staff’s hospitality was exceptional, and their warm welcome left a lasting impression. I would definitely like to stay here again. Hearing healing music from inside the pool felt truly mystical—it was a first-time experience unlike anything I’ve had before. It perfectly matched the Hotel’s ambiance, and I had a wonderful time.

The onsen was very relaxing. They also prepared a meal for our dog on the day, and seeing our dog eat it so enthusiastically made us feel happy too. We were able to spend a leisurely time surrounded by nature with no buildings around. We will definitely visit again. Thank y

I had been on the go since early morning and was completely exhausted, so I truly appreciated the thoughtful care from all the staff. The view from the Room was wonderful as well. The spa also soothed my tired body and was very relaxing. I almost didn’t want to check out. I will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.
